Very sensible to get a touch screen one, especially with Windows 8, which is easier to learn with a touch screen.

Some people do find Windows 8 tricky. My Brother bought a laptop for my youngest nephew for Christmas, and he got a bit frustrated setting it up for him.

Mollie, I would make the trellis myself but can't find where to buy the wood from, the outer frame wood is a 35 x 35mm planed timber routed with a groove for the slats to go in.

Talking about shopping, O/H came home with some packs of Crab Claws, Brown Crabs & Lobster Tails, yummy.

Had a tail and some legs earlier with some salad.

Let's hope he doesn't do some sudden upward arm movements though  to scratch his head, else she could end up dangling off her end of the handcuff a few feet up in the air.  

OH has to leave at 4.30am for his long drive to work.   And back to college day tomorrow too, so me and family not very happy. OH is busy packing his bags. Daughter has done his corned beef sandwiches for him to take for the day.

I am watching "It'll be Alright on the Night" now on our little tv... it is so funny.   Will watch CBB later with daughter on plus 1, as she is watching Sherlock with rest of family now. Glad we have some decent tv to watch now, especially CBB.

Didn't do much in the garden, with the weather unsettled it's no good, if i try to take stuff out of the gazebo to get in it starts to rain so i have to put it all back.

I think your logic about getting a T-shirt off while handcuffed is a little flawed Hicky? I can see that Casey could have got the shirt off and passed it down the connecting line to Lee, and he could have put it on, but he wouldn't be any more able to get it completely off than her. Not without ripping of fabric or releasing the cuffs.

Unless the arm hole was big enough for him to get his head and arm and shoulders through?

I had a look at that video. I think they are just playing at the mo, but something might happen between them.

fingers crossed the promised forthcoming visit from your LL means she does spring into some type of action regarding those windows. I have a flippen estate agent inspection again tomorrow, my pain of a LL insists all tenants in this property are "inspected" every 3 months. Don't know what the LL thinks we are doing to the place.   LL told me once he has to get this done as he needs to check we are not throwing darts into his wall or anything like that. Such a patronising person this LL is.  

CBB....Yes I think that pair are just messing around at the moment.

The roofing place delivered 90kg of foof felt tiles, a roll of felt.

They were supposed to deliver it tomorrow with me in.

They left it in the porch, i got home and O/H had been out, Gym and then to my lads place, just as well.

The outer stack of the tile pack had slid down and blocked 1 of the double doors on the porch so i couldn't get in, i had keys for the back gate and back door on me, just as well.

Inspection went well, agent said we are obviously keeping the house clean and tidy, but she was shocked as to the extent of the damp, and the fact it has been ongoing. She said she will contact the LL and insist it is sorted now.

Got loads to do in the garden now, off till Monday anyway.

Got a call from the company who is getting the trellis for me, it's waiting for me.

Will have to try and get to Derby this week, it's about 100 miles one way.

I am done in again....all that housework yesterday, lots of paperwork and washing today, and no OH at home to help out, but I got all the kids doing different jobs yesterday, and then had to go to mums and do her jobs today, plus a food shop, But I have found a food my mum actually enjoys eating at last. It is rhubarb crumble and custard.  So I sent a big bowl of it over  today, along with her sandwiches.

Not a bad morning here at last, so the dog got a nice walk and I have dried some washing outside. Rained in afternoon though.

Nearly time to sit down at last and enjoy watching CBB.

Sorry to hear this....yes, yes and yes again, it is indeed the principle of the matter. It was a nice day, you could of been out working today. She obviously thinks your time is unimportant. Many LL's think this of tenants. They are only tenants, so their time can't possible be as important as a LL's would be.

Like I said to the estate agent the last time our LL had me waiting all day, then "forgot" to turn up yet again......on the LL's side, this shows a complete lack of respect for your tenant, and how would the LL feel if I "forgot" to pay the rent. 

Serve your LL right if you deducted a days pay from the rent.

Makes me mad.

CBB...yes no surprise there then who went into the bolthole. Wonder if any HM's suss they have not been evicted?

your OH is doing really well training in both the gym and the pool, and avoiding junk as well.   I know you are already fit with all the exercise you get in your garden, which is nice as you enjoy it so much. Although I take the dog walks, and don't sit down much in the day, I don't do enough strong exercise. And I don 't think I have the will power to give my treats up.   So will have to pull my socks up if I want to drop a dress size for summer.

Hope you are pleased with your fish when it comes.

At least the weather seems to have calmed down at the moment, so it should be more pleasant to make your trip to Derby. Have you decided when to go there yet?

CBB....Yes I am fed up of the threesome, Lee has not acted nice, but, I agree Emptybox, looks like Casey will get sucked in again. But even after the way he treated her, it looks like she still wants him, and obviously still holds hopes she stands a chance with him. I think there are some real interesting HM's in there, but we need to see more of them, and less of this boring 3-some.

I am not keen on Louisa as a person, but think she is a cracking HM. Doesn't she love to interfere? She always seems to be in the thick of it.

If your LL is like mine, there is probably slim chance she will call out someone who does know what they are doing, for awhile yet any way. Mine goes for cash in hand cheapo types who take frequent attempts to fix the problem. It took 3 different call outs to fix our shower.

Doggie and I saw daughter and son off onto the London train this morning. Doggie was really excited walking round the platforms, but wanted to go onthe train with them when they got on it. 
OH is travelling from Devon on train now to meet up them in London, Daughter  phoned me after they had only been on the train for half hour. Typical of a daughter, if it was the 2 lads on their own, I would of been lucky to get one phonecall all weekend.  They have all gone 1st class, care of early booking and tescos vouchers.
Well worth the upgrade because the trolley comes around every train stop. Between them, in the first half hour alone, they have had crisps, biscuits, muffins, coffee, orange juice, bottle of water, and a newspaper. 

I am trying to cut down after Christmas, so a good job I aren't with them.

Yes Mollie, did get to Derby yesterday, O/H didn't fancy going today, what a blessing the SatNav, would never find anywhere without that.

I was free by midday as fish had arrived, trees also.

The Rock Lobster tails are massive, each weighing at least 430g, the last ones we had from Sainsbury's were 120g each.

Planted the trees today.

Have just ordered the small 76mm guttering.

Did some tiling today, it was pretty cool but if it's not raining i am always in the garden.

Have got the holidays sorted now, even booked the seats on the plane and the meals.

Haven't been to Turkey before, my lad has, he had his honeymoon there.

It will be good to see your hubby again, typical of girls to keep in touch, lads, no chance.

I'm going to have to order some more heating oil soon, but I'm watching the price go down, and biding my time.

Went into town to do some chores. Had to get a new wiper blade for the van, as the rubber has started to come off one.

Also looked in at the place I buy lawnmowers to see if they had any bargains, but they hadn't really. The same one as I have now would cost £430.

I may have to buy one before the season, but I'm going to see if I can get my present one working properly first.

Yes Mollie, my landlady has a funny relationship with tradesmen. She always thinks they are trying to do her, so she rarely has the same one twice. In fact when my tank overflowed she asked me if I knew a good plumber.

It's not as if she only looks after a couple of cottages; they let out loads of houses on two or three different farms. You'd think it would pay them to build up relationships with good tradesmen.

I think I told you the story of how I used to do the garden for them, only to turn up at the beginning of a new season to find they had hired someone else without telling me.

the laptop Is still playing up Mollie but the reason I haven't posted hurt my

leg ,a strain ? but for the last couple of days It felt as though a needle was going through It ,sitting at the lappy has been a nono could hardly walk yesterday ,but almost (not quite back to normal)yipeeeee

Almost three hours Of Celeb BB last night ,according to the listings but taping It you realise how many adverts there are, and just how little time we get .

The half hour live feed was eye opening for me Liz does join in and Louisa Is a pain ...for me anyhow  and realised just how much they are manipulating It ....please more live feed

I'm liking Rylan more he was good last night on CBBBONS got a far more out of Evander ,than Emma did, I'm sick of the love triangle so boring  

The cat I feed Is there every day so I put a box with some woolen things in the porch for It ,now It greets me with an arched back and hisses at me never ever a miaow or thanks 

It Is episode 2&3 of The Bridge 11 on BBC 4 brilliant so far so I may catch the last bit of CBB ,but I can catch up anytime .

That's a novelty, keeping your lawnmower under the kitchen table?

On my present one the engine is going fine, but the drive is very poor. A combination of the belt being too loose, and the drive cable being broken, and me bodging it up with wire, rather than fitting a new one.

I want to see if I can do a bit of work to improve the drive. Otherwise I'll have to shell out for a new mower.

Think the right one left last night, and I am glad Liz stayed, I really like her. I think she could be an interesting quirky HM, once we get to see a bit more of the others,  instead of all this constant three some stuff.

Yes Emptybox I couldn't go to London, as I had to see to my mum and look after the pets. My oldest son didn't go, but he is out all day Sunday in rehearsals for the youth theatre. The rest of the family visited Harrods yesterday, OH took a shine to an 86 inch tv, but at £35000, our credit card wouldn't even be able to stretch to the plug.   Son fancied an iphone cover at £75000 and daughter, a gold X box.   The concert they have gone to see is on tonight, so son and daughter home tomorrow and OH back on train to Devon, ready for work on Monday. 

Wow, what a wonderful day weather wise here today.

Got lots of washing dried, then after I had taken mum's lunch over and done her cleaning, I was all hot and bothered, and tired, but luckily the ice cream seafront kiosk  had opened for the weekend, so I got a big coffee flavoured cone. Yummy.   Lots to watch whilst I ate it, as the beach was as packed as a summer bank holiday, families and dogs everywhere, real nice. So after my ice cream I walked awhile down the prom, then had a latte at seafront cafe before i went food shopping. Enjoyed watching all the surfers out today too.

Daughter has been phoning me around 5 times a day for a chat, says she is missing me. Think she is finding London tiring, but I am sure they will all  enjoy the concert tonight, which is why they have gone to London. 

How lovely it is to see Kylie on The Voice. Wow, how attractive is she for a lady in her 40's. And think she is so lovely on the show, fun of enthusiasm.

And as you know I am a fan of Tom's. He was brilliant when we saw him in concert a couple of years ago.
