By the way ..thankyou to all for the help I am going to have another go
Good Afternoon Everyone.
This site is so slow refreshing, have to keep F5-ing all the time.
Last nights live feed linky.
http://www.dailymotion.com/pla...y-18/1#video=x14fk8c
Had a nice brekkie from the porta-cabin kitchen.
Bacon, egg, sausage, black pud, beans, toast.yummy.
Not too busy at work, done some, will watch last nights live feed now.
Hope you can complete the payment Frodo to get VIP status.
hello Hicky

YIPEE I did It whoop whoop
Well done Frodo. I'm glad you've been able to sort it out
Thank you I am over the moon not so much the VIP BUT BECAUSE I am pretty thick with cards etc and the mates on this thread put up with me and my moaning take care x
Oh the joy of last nights feed where Vicky lost It with Charlotte
Can I say I am not a prude nothing shocks me .Vicky in my mind said how I feel a 23 year old that wets the bed (for show in my opinion)brags about anal and oral sex and thinks vomiting is the norm ...needs a serious reality check
Courtney bigs off her boobs and more than likely looks to the cameras as they have said ...but what a difference in kindness ...a lesson on how to be nice ,
seriously I hope lauren Courtney and abz make up some of the final .
wow what bitches the others are
YIPEE I did It whoop whoop
Well done Frodo. I'm glad you've been able to sort it out
EL LORO THANKS
Yes Frodo, been watching some live feed, wow, it's getting all biatchy now isn't it, the knives are out for Charlotte, Vicky is onto her giving her what for.
I like Courtney though, not bothered about the rest.
It's just a tv reality show, a game show, they can do what they like, it's up the public in the end to choose their winner.
To win: Bet365.
Lauren=2/1, Charlotte=9/4, Carol=10/3. Abz=5/1, Louie=16/1, Vicky=25/1, Mario=40/1, Courtney=66/1,
hello Mollie emptybox and hicks
My laptop Is playing up so sorry about this ,just wanted to join the vip a small fee and I don't do much else apart from enjoying this ..reading loving people travelling ,card games decorating being on other forums ,baking loving good food etc will miss you three when this ends and I mean It xxx
Evening.
Wet here all day.
Well done on getting the VIP thing sorted Frodo.
Yes I'd agree that Charlotte didn't come over well on the live feed last night.
She seemed to be annoyed that Lauren had been allowed to see her parents (don't know when that was?).
D'ya know, I can see myself voting Abz or Courtney to win.
I see Sophie and Danielle went back in for a task today.
Envious of your brekkie Hicky. (although obviously I could make myself similar if I wanted)
Glad you weren't too taxed at work.
Yes I found the Bruge/Brugges thing confusing, and guessed when we went there and learnt they speak Dutch and French that it would be something to do with that. They did all seem to speak English there though, but it is a tourist town.
The segways were very easy to control..... you hardly had to touch them to get them to move in the direction you want, but I made a hard job of it at first because I was so nervous and the guy said I was tensing my shoulders/arms too much, so making it harder to control it.
Good evening all
Fredo
so pleased you managed to sort the VIP thingie out. Sorry to hear your lappy is playing up again. Mine still has to have the sellotape changed frequently on it to keep it going. What do you mean that you will miss us when "this ends"? Are you referring to your lappy? Hope not, because we can't fix that, but if you are referring to CBB, we will still be here after CBB ends, so please stick around. We still have loads to tv and every day stuff to talk about after CBB/BB.
Hicky
Glad you managed to get your brekkie from the portacabin ok. Me, OH and daughter went to Red Hot after we had done some shopping yesterday, It was as good as ever. i asked the guy if he could put some onions and mushrooms in the fresh pasta he was making for me, and he said he could put whatever I wanted in it. Amazing what variety of choice you get there isn't it? Even the shape of your pasta. So glad you told me about Red Hot. My fave is the vegetable lasagne and the buttered veg and roast potatoes to go with it. I also like to dip the fruit in the choccy fountain.
What fruit are you picking from your garden now? I bought some British blueberries today from Asda, they look nice. (but I bet no supermarket fruit is as good as your home grown stuff).
Emptybox
how is the workload now? Are you up to date?
I would be quite happy with Courtenay or Abz winning, and I also like Lauren. I so hope it is not that Charlotte.
at Courtenay and the stock cube in the kettle. I can see why that happened, I remember when i used to go to my Australian friends' houses, at coffee time, they always used to say to me "I am just going to put the jug on"...ie the kettle was called the jug in Oz, so it must be the same in the States (Oz often used Amercianisms). So when Carole told Courtenay to put the stock in the jug, Courtenay was only doing what she was told.
Haven't had a good day, headache, tears and stress for me....
OH busy sorting all the paperwork to send for his new contract, and I have spent hours and hours searching trying to find somewhere for OH to stay next week for this new contract.... but everywhere proved to be fully booked up by Uni students and parents there ... so I ended up having to pay an extortiant price for a basic premier inn room and it was still 10 miles away from where he will be working,... ÂĢ454 for 4 days just for a basic hotel room, and is usually ÂĢ120! It is pointless him working away at all for hotel costs that high. Fortunately though after next week, it is no problem, plenty of cheap B and B;s, close to work.
Also my mum's memory and confusion is going from bad to worse which I find upsetting..., yesterday again she had lost stuff and was then saying she never moved them. She keeps thinking people are taking her stuff. (a subconcious thing so she doesn't have to admit her memory is going?).... then other times she is normal.
Also poor daughter is ovecome with last minute doubts over whether she goes to Uni or not, the debt worries her, (understandable).
Was glad I was able to sit and watch CBB to get a rest in at the end of the day.
Goodnight all xxx
Morning everyone.
Never got on yesterday.
--------------
Reason, part of.
--------------
I know, strange really, never got round to it, was sorting out some new wetness detection probes for my garden seeing how to set them up, the was out getting cast for the dentist, and then getting fuel, then getting my tv mag, then was at dentist, good job i got some money, he want ÂĢ49 to fill some holes in the end of some teeth, heaven know how they get like that, they aren't rotten, they are like new.
Then i was cooking beetroot, then pork ribs, then shumai dumplings which i put into a Chinese type soup, then i fried a whole Plaice and a couple of baked spuds, then i set up 5 of the new water sensors before the watering system came on, had to turn the system to manual operation to test them of course.
By the time i got to the computer it was too late to start posting really.
I had a busy day off.:-))))))))))
Oh, I forgot, picked 2 bowls of Raspberries, one for O/H's Sister and one for Lady at work, used 2 takeaway plastic trays that i have.
--------------------
Hoping these new gadgets will work ok as it will stop me watering some of the plants when they don't need it.
These are the probes.
http://www.twowests.co.uk/cate...umat-drip-irrigation
You will see on the page lower down the Ceramic Probes, I bought all the 1.5mm tube and fitting to go with them, only bought 10 for now.
will see how it goes.
Need to watch last nights bbbots now as it was too late.
Mollie, glad you had another meal at Red Hot, O/H wants to try another Restaurant in Liverpool for her Birthday on the 20th.
This one.
It looks like Courtney & Vicky going tonight.
Betting.
------------
To go next eviction: Courtney=11/10, Vicky=2/1, Mario=9/2, Louie=9/2, Carol=20/1.
To win: Bet365.
Abz=7/4, Lauren=12/5, Charlotte=16/5, Carol=11/2. Louie=14/1, Vicky=40/1, Mario=66/1, Courtney=100/1,

Aww Mollie
this post brought me to tears ,one of the nicest people I have come across
my worries pale ,you Hicks and emptybox are the main reasons I became VIP ..
Take Care
Looks as though Courtney may go but like you Lauren and Abz if she does
although he has been like wallpaper ,the others have been sh*te.
Liam from BB8 o BBOTS called Carol an alcoholic last night .and Charlotte words fail me ,you want to watch Geordie Shore sometime and see the real Charlotte this Is the watered down version.
Will read up later ..chin up Mollie ,things will come right you deserve It
your mate Frodo x waves to Hicky and Emptybox
Back again
Hicky whatever you are doing in the garden It seems to be paying off ,lucky neighbours, anyone tried avocados? never tasted one but they are just taking my fancy right now .Every one seems to be on Charlottes side over the spat the other night....I think Vicky was right just my opinion ,passing wind weeing the bed ,throwing up ,I could not live with It.They all seem to think Its hilarious I don't.
I only judge in the house not their past but only Courtney ,Lauren Abz (although he does not deserve the win) and Vicky I think the they have only shown the grumpy side of her. One of the worst CBBs ever for me .
Reading DS the other day and a message said log in or somethings along that line ...why ? Is It private or something .
Sunny here at the mo but you can feel the Autumn chill in the air ,still looking forward to the Christmas CBB ,I'm hoping Courtney scrapes through
I think she Is great ,LOL at the kettle incident
sees you
Frodo, I think with DS that you only need to register and log in if you want to post comments. You don't need to log in if you are just reading comments.
Morning.
Bit drizzly here this morning, so hoping it brightens up later.
Sorry you didn't have a very good day Mollie.
That's a terrible price for a hotel room. Why was everything booked solid next week? Is it something to do with a new term starting?
As you say, if you are working away from home, a cheap B&B is what is required.
Glad BB is your respite.
Did one of the American Presidents not come a cropper when he was trying out a segway? Think it was Obama, but might have been George Bush (Jnr)?
ETA: Oh yeah, it was Bush
Pity they are not allowed on the roads in the UK.
Hi Frodo. Hope the laptop keeps going.
I love avocados. They are gorgeous when they are ripe, a lovely slightly nutty flavour.
I very rarely buy them though as they are difficult to judge on whether they are going to ripen properly. Some just stay hard and never ripen so are useless.
It's the feel of them that tells you if they are ripe; they don't change colour.
Hi Hicky. That watering system of yours is a real hobby.
I'll be sad if Courtney goes tonight. I might put a couple of votes on this evening.
Don't think either Charlotte or Vicky came over well in that argument. Charlotte came over as childish and selfish, and Vicky looked like she was ranting for the benefit of the the cameras outside afterwards.
Yes, it's definitely Autumn weather now. Haven't used any heating yet, but it can't be far away. There's been a couple of nights when I've got into my cold bed, that I've wished I'd put the blanket on for an hour before. But I don't want to give in yet.
Good Afternoon Everyone.
Bored at the mo.
Have watched last night BB show, bbbots, live feed,
nothing else to watch, had my yummy brekkie.
Bacon Sausage, Black Pud, Beans, she forgot the egg somehow, 2 brown toast, not to worry.
They are dressed for todays task.
They are split into 2 teams.
---------------
Task info
Day 21: Battle of the Bands task
Another day, another task and this one looks set to send tremors through the pop world - it's a Battle of the Bands.
With his advance boybanding skills Abz was an obvious choice to take charge of one group, while Louie's proficiency as a dancer was preferred to Lauren's propensity for sudden vocal runs in the kitchen, and he was put in charge of the other bunch.
The rules are simple: each team is charged with writing an original song about their time in the House. They will then be required to come up with a dance routine and a style of their own.
At that point they will then perform in a head-to-head winner-takes-all one-off performance of incredible magnitude with delicious prizes guaranteed.
In Louie's group, in reverse alphabetical order, are: Courtney, Charlotte and Carol. While Abz will be getting down with Lauren, Mario and Vicky.
Two words: In. Tense.
I'd prefer a mask on him.
---------------
Hello Hicky I did vote
I am having fish chips and peas for tea
frozen fish and bliddy frozen chips and tinned mushy peas ,the only joy Is homemade bread ...hanging my head in shame at the sheer laziness of me .
The dogs have had fresh cooked chicken with the best biscuits and gravy
please where Is my kennel ...oh sheesh hang on bags the warmest spot in the room
Oh, great, they love getting awards.
I think Lauren should get A Ward.
In the nearest hospital.
Off home now, be good.
I'm not a lover of Frozen Fish and Chips, much prefer them Hot.
It's a pity the dogs don't pay the food bills.
Hello Hicky
haven't you realised the majority of my posts are tongue in cheek
thought you had got to know me by now
take care all x
Mollie just a quick post
I hope you are feeling a little better ,your daughter and please tell me to shut up ,you can't offend me ,,could she have a little breather to decide one way or the other ...a close relative has had a little break and then decided to go to uni .
Your husband must be high up to get these contracts and I never want or have tried to pry none of my damned business ,but you seem to have a family life that I am a little jealous of a closeness ,does that make sense .
your Mum feeling forgetful must be scary for you both and I wish you well .
please feel free to tell me to butt out ,but your illness and all you have gone through sending loving vibes your way
anything I can do I would take care xxx frodo
all
Fredo
thanks for you kind message. Yes I am wondering if with all going on, it might do daughter good to postpone Uni for awhie, and try again next year.
You made me telling Hicky most of your posts are tongue in cheek, because his are too. (especially the bit about him preferring eating hot food to frozen food, which I do too, because I don't think my my teeth could manage to eat food that is still frozen. )
And of course I also love Emptybox's subtle humour that he often comes out with too.
Your dogs are just like mine, in that I have been too busy lately to cook much, so we had ready prepared mash, frozen fish, (frozen, but cooked that is) , ready prepared coly cheese for me and peas. But the dog had freshly cooked chicken breast and rice cakes.
My hubby, like Hicky is an IT contractor, he used to have a permanent job but was forced into freelance contracts (like many IT people), some years ago when he was made redundant. It is well paid, but you have no paid hols, sick pay and often big gaps between contracts, but the worse thing is in bad times he has to work away, so basically he does not end up making such a good wage as he should do. But at least it pays the bills.
I too like advocados, but like Emptybox, rarely buy them, as I find them hit and miss regarding if they are ripe or not, and hate to throw them when I get it wrong.
Hicky
I had to at the list of stuff you did on your day off, good job you go to work now and again for the rest. Thanks for the BB news. Hope you are pleased with your new watering system. That looks a nice place your OH is going to for her birthday. Hope she enjoys it. Are the rest of the family going too?
Is it a Land Rover discovery you have got? I ask because oH is thinking of swopping our car for one, because he has a long way to travel with winter coming , and so thinks 4 wheel drive ideal, and it is automatic too. Are you pleased with it, if it is the same car? it would mean swopping our present family car, for an older car than the one he has, but he says this landorver one one has not done high mileage.
Had a hectic day again yesterday and today too, as OH's new job told him they want him there for 7.45am Monday, He had previously been told contractors could start late Monday so this surprised him, but it turns out they have some sort of induction thing. I had to quickly find accomm for him, as no way can he do a 3 hour plus drive to start a new job that early. So now he has to go Sunday and he has to stay in 2 different hotels as it is such a busy week. Hopefully things will be ok after that first week is over.
I found mum's coffee hidden in her wardrobe yesterday and some cutlery hidden in her writing desk. This is horrible seeing her getting like this, but not a lot I can do about her memory.
Emptybox
that is a great link with George Bush and the Segway. Brilliant, I have managed to do something George failed to do. But as the link says, Segways are idiot proof, which explains why I did do it ok.
As you will be, I too was real disappointed Courtenay went, such a shame she was a nice girl and a good HM. I agree with what you say about Charlotte and Vicky.
We had a bit of autumn chill yesterday, but it has warmed up again today, but is rainy now.
Looking forward to CBB,
Fredo , did you say that there is to be a Christmas CBB? That would be great if there is. (Well hopefully , because I must admit this has not been a fave CBB of mine at all. )
have a good evening all x
off to read up on B and B;s for OH again.
Emptybox
forgot to say,..... on reading your article on how complicated Segway's workings are, made me realise why they cost a whacking 7000 Euros! The guy who took us out on his Segways told us that.
This dog was on our local news tonight and he is amazing (as is his owner who has not done dog training before).
link for tight rope walking dog...

Evening All.
Frodo, you are Funny, i was only joking with the frozen stuff.
Mollie, i have the Land rover Freelander 1, hoping to get another Land rover before too long.
Would probably get the Freelander 2.
One thing, it should be Silver, must be Diesel, must be Auto, must have Winter tyres.
Like this:
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/us...9118739904?logcode=p
I love Land Rovers, don't think you can beat them really.
The Land rover Discovery is brill as well, if you can get one then thats great.
My lad in Oz is talking about buying my house again.
Had a few bits out of the garden today, Toms, Chillies, Plums, Pears, raspberries, had some apple, the bit the worms left for me.
Made a nice Rendang Curry, had the rhubarb with custard and cream.
Put the chillies into the curry, had the Toms for brekkie.
Have installed 7 of the water sensor probes, today wasn't too bad but it started to rain before.
Gave my neighbour the small tray of plants i bought, 10 cabbage, 10 cauliflower, i realised i had nowhere to plant them.
I also gave them 3 pints of raspberries.
There are so many you have to keep picking them.
Bad news about your mum Mollie, but what can you do?
Yes Mollie, lots of these jobs have specific working area and you often have to to go to an induction meeting and get passes and ID card which often have to be worn around your neck or somewhere were it can be seen.
Evening guys.
Actually a nice warm day here, but raining this evening.
I think those BB awards were a bit of a con. They only handed out the awards that the one's left won.
Lauren wasn't very pleased with her award, was she? Have to admit I voted her as the biggest gameplayer.
I saw that tightrope walking dog in the paper Mollie. Fantastic what you can train them to do.
I think I would buy a Landrover Freelander if I could afford a new car. There's a dealer not far from here. Bit expensive to run perhaps?
Pity you had to book an extra night for your OH at a different hotel Mollie.
Put on a couple of votes for Abz to win BB, but not very enthusiastic about the final really.
Afternoon Everyone.
Not a very nice day here, cool, cloudy and drizzle.
Tried to ring the place that had a Salamander gas grill for sale but only a recorded message, rang again today, nothing, have emailed the company.
Have ordered a Water pistol, a bit one, only to scare the cats from hanging around here.
Just had a pack of shrimps, yummy.
Had normal brekkie, having some chippy chips with the remains of the Rendang curry for tea, also ave a dish of rhubarb and custard in the fridge from last night.
Am having a piece of the saltfish for brekkie in the morning to test what it's like when you salt it yourself.
Last nights live feed, only 2 parts as they all went to bed.
http://www.dailymotion.com/pla...y-22/1#video=x14munh
Emptybox, if you enquire about the running costs for the Freelander 2 let me know, but cars are pretty efficient these days.
Here's the details on a 6 speed Auto Diesel 150hp Freelander 2, HSE which is top of the range, and a beauty.
Hi Hicky.
I suppose those running costs aren't too bad? Especially if you go for one of the e models.
Can't see myself getting another car yet. Not until I'm fed up with the Jag.
But a 4x4 is certainly an advantage around these parts in winter.
A water pistol to scare the cats eh? I could do with one to chase the rabbits out of my garden.
Not very nice here either. Dull and a bit drizzly, and the grass was soaking wet, but I got a bit done.
I suspect Charlotte may win tonight, but I won't mind too much about that. Just have to see.
Evening Emptybox.
Mine does about 32 mpg, but it's not motorway driving, it doesn't get into top gear most of the time, the model i've got gets into 3rd/top at 45mph and drops out when you go down below 40mph.
I would get quite a good mph on a long run when you keep the speed at 70mph and don't accelerate hard as that drinks all the fuel.
If i was you I'd put the Jag in as a deposit and get a Land Rover for the winter without a second though, the Jag is as much use as roller skates on ice.
I think Abz or Charlotte to win.
Just had some more of the Rendang curry with some chips i got from the chippy.
Have fished the rhubarb and custard off, have put mushroom compost as a mulch on the rhubarb tubs, won't be picking anymore this season, been picking it from march.
Raining again, abandoned the garden, have turned 2 of the 3 watering systems off, just left the fig tubs on.
Have removed 49 small Figs for the 2 plants in order to give the rest more chance of reaching maturity.
As time goes by may need to reconsider whats left, taking off the smallest each time.
Good evening all
Hicky
thank you for the landrover links, very interestinng, I have emailed them to OH to read. Whilst the car in the 2nd link does look nice, what a price it is. Do you think the landrovers keep going well? I ask that because we want to try and find a make that is reliable and keeps going for a few years. OH was also looking at volvos, but because we are a big family, with the dog too, we need a 7 seater. The landrover we tried yesterday was fine because one of the lads could sit in the 3rd row if dog and my mum are with us. OH Says volvos also do 3rd row of seats.
Hope your lad can sort out the house purchase ok as from what you said before, it sounds like that might work out well for you all. Which part of Oz is he based in now? Or is he working offshore?
You are right about what you said about the induction stuff for OH, It sounds like it will be just as you say, but hopefully after the 1st week is done, he can go in on monday mornings instead of staying overnight on Sundays.
Have those cheeky worms be stealing your fruit? How very dare they! I bet your neighbours were real pleased with your fruit gifts again.
That is strange that you can't get the Salamander people, hope they haven't closed down.
Glad to see you are still enjoying the rendang curry and chips. Is it the end of your rhurbarb season now?
Been raining heavy here too this afternoon.
We went shopping in Morrisons and had coffee in their canteen. I noticed that weekdays after 4pm, for each adult meal you get a free kids meal, so I thought it might be worth telling you about this (if you didn't know already), incase you fancy taking the grandkids. There were a lot of grandparents and kiddies eating their meals when we went.
Emptybox
I too am not too enthusiastic about this CBB, the other series have all been better imo, and I agree about the CBB award last night, they were a bit daft really, as not many HM's left to choose from. This year i enjoyed the BB series a lot more than the CBB one, as I thought the BB tasks and HM's were great. Good job you got a bit of work done, despite the damp weather. I bet the rabbits in your garden look dead cute, we sometimes get rabbits too. I don't really want Charlotte to win, she is too brash and rude for my liking, but it looks like she might. I prefer Abz to her.
Yes I can understand after the last 2 harsh winters up there why you would fancy a Landrover,
Anyone watching this new Celeb Spa programme, I am . There is someone from the Wirral on it, wonder if HIcky knows them? And someone from Liverpool too.
Have a good evening all xxx
to Fredo, hope all is well with you today. x
Evening Mollie
You don't see many Land Rovers broken down at the side of the road.
Like all cars, you can be unlucky with a purchase, but some of the places Land rovers go, I know what make i would prefer.
You've only got to watch them on Top Gear, they love them.
--------------------
Thats alot of trucks.
The "Storm Trooper", 1997 Discovery with 230,000 miles, still a daily driver.
