Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

I was quite surprised to see Harry go, Faye must have got a lot of late votes.

Not a lover of vertical freezers, you lose all the cold air when you open it, love chest freezers.

It's been a lovely day here, Sun all day.

Just got to protect the Figs now and I'm set for winter.

The 'Red Hot' restaurant is the same everywhere, out of this world, you can have as much as you want and can have as many plates as you want and visit as many food stations as you want, they will also make dishes specially for you.

The inhaler seems fine now, just got to try and arrange to see a nurse.

My Lad moved by me as he wanted to move anyway, the young lad did need another school so it worked out ok.

Glad you sorted you broadband out Mollie, nice to get back to normal.

You should take it easy now, don't overwork yourself, your health comes first.

Took my O/H for brekki at Morrisons this morning, must admit they do a good meal.

I can't see anything on the webcam, will have to wait for daylight.

I am thinking of putting a new Pergola up on the Patio decking across the back of the kitchen area, but i want it to be covered to keep me dry., it would be about 5m x 2.4m or so.

Just an idea i have, but still after my Winter Tyres as they are the law in some countries and can save you 8m in braking distance in the wet, as well as being a lot better in ice and snow and a lot are now getting them her.

In fact British Gas did a some tests over the last year and in Scotland they are going to use Winter tyres all year round, in other area's they will only use them for the winter.

Hicky

A bit of a disappointing day weather wise really.

Forecast said it would be dry, not true.

Got a Halloween day in the local park tomorrow afternoon, weather permitting.

Have found a good website with all the wood required to build Pagola's.

Just trying to convince O/H.

But need my Winter Tyres first.

Not so easy to find, unless you get them delivered.

Hope you both had a good day?

Hicky

Good morning both x

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Emptybox

Well I bet you were relieved Fay got to stay. at her being your next BB crush, I must admit she is a very pretty girl, but it is a shame she is so needy, grizzly and moany. Needs to know how to laugh a bit more I think, and cut down the bad language.  But at least she does not seem to be sly or nasty.  Didn't like her sister at all though, thought she was not nice to Fay. I am not pleased Harry went,Thought he was a great HM. (although I don't approve of his fox hunting thing). I think that Jay is absolutely disgusting and uncouth with the things he comes out with. Wish he had gone instead.

I was thinking that if you don't have a freezer, could that be a problem in md winter if you can't get out for bread etc?

How is the work load going? Have you done your last mow now? Are you busy clearing leaves now?

HIcky

Glad this inhaler seems to suit you now.

We will have to try that new resteraunt, sounds like there is something for all of the family there to try. Will wait a few weeks though, because it is bound to be busy with it just been opened. We were in Cardiff yesterday, bought a few things from Primark, our fave shop for cheapo but nice clothes. Daughter and I got some nice fluffy PJ's for winter and some warm long sleeved T shirts to wear under dresses.

That is good how your lad is now living closer to you and they have been able to find a good school for the little fella.

Sounds like you are going to be real busy if you are planning a pergola.

What did you both think of Alex as an X factor judge? I think she did well and it was good to hear a judge talking closer to the truth than most do, especially when she actually admitted that Franky cannot sing. Can't understand why they keep saving him. Hope he goes tonight, but I fear for Sophie, the judges don't seem to like her for some reason.

Have a good day.

Rain seems to of stopped here now, so hoping to take dog out later on seafront.

M

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Not too bad a day really.

Halloween in the park went well, a couple of the grand children came over.

Lots of children done up in there Halloween outfits.

Took a couple of pictures, will post them.

I was glad Faye stayed, it's like 3 couples now.

I like Harry but think Jem had got everyone to vote to keep Faye in.

I don't think you will have any problem with the new Restaurant Mollie, there are so many different servers/food stands that they can take a lot of people at a time, of course there are dozens of containers with food in and you just help ourself, you can go back as many times as you like to try different foods, it's fantastic.

But if you want one of the kitchens to make a meal for you they will.

Alex was ok, but she wants to talk a bit too much, think people were getting fed up with her, even the presenter mentioned it.

Don't like Frankie much, can't sing for 1.

Like Kitty though.

I'm still working out the details on the Pergola, it will probably be about 4.8m x 3m and will cover some if not all with clear perspex sheeting, good stuff though.

Little one, Sidd and Rhen, the children in a circle getting judged for their costume, the pumpkins to be judged.

One of ours got second place, one of the girls did it.

Hicky

Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Not bad weather here this weekend. Still quite mild.

Can't be doing with this time change though.

Went to the supermarket today, and yesterday I got my car washed and my own grass cut for the final time.

I've still got quite a bit of grass to get cut for my clients though. Should get through it in the next couple of weeks hopefully.

I don't tend to do much raking of leaves TBH. The last cut takes a lot away and the wind tends to get rid of the rest.

I have got a freezer Mollie. A big upright one. It was just my small chest freezer that went phut.

Thanks for the photos Hicky. Glad the littlies had a good Halloween day in the park.

I'm sure you'll get the details of your pergola worked out.

I didn't think much of Alexandra Burke as an X-Factor judge TBH, but anything would be better than Kelly Rowland, who I think is dreadful.  I think Kelly is more interested in who is the more hungry for success than in their abilities.

My favourite is Kitty, but I like Janet Devlin as well.

I quite liked Sophie as well, but she wasn't as strong a performer as Micha.

I was glad Faye stayed on Friday, but she's up against Louise this week again, so she is at risk.

I definitely think she should stay ahead of Louise, but I'm not confident the voters will agree.

emptybox

Morning Mollie & Emptybox.

Back at work today, not a lot on for me hopefully.

The ground is very wet so can't see me cutting the grass unless it grows and dries out again.

The front of the house is buried in leaves, but there's still a lot on the tree's.

If i brush them in the road it would bury it but they may blow back in again.

Don't fancy lifting them as there's that many.

Some area's are over a foot deep.

I'm still looking at different idea's for the Pergola, timber size wise, want it strong but not too expensive.

Buying the ready made pieces is pretty expensive.

Not bothered about X-F, Alexandra is ok, but talks a lot.

I like Kitty and Janet, ratings are down this year though.

It's not the same without Simon, think it's sinking.

Strictly Come Dancing beat it Saturday.

Not sure about eviction this week, don't know if Louise has any fans.

Faye will have her sister etc pushing the voting a lot.

Have a good Halloween tonight, i've got all my goodies ready for the little ones.

Hicky

Good evening both.

Hicky

Aaaww, what lovely pictures, looks like everyone is enjoying themselves there, and they were very lucky with the weather. Little Syd is certainly coming on and looks so cute on your new red rug....  his jumper even matches the colour of the rug.   Is the little boy the one you and OH do the school run for now? Gosh you must have a lot of trees with all those leaves out your front.

Hope work was not too taxing for you today.

Emptybox

Let's hope it stays dry for a couple of weeks now, so you can finish those lawns.

Not sure who will go Friday with those 2 up, but I think Louise has not done a lot to have that may votes to stay.

Shame Sophie went on Saturday, she was a much better singer than that Frankie, yet he stayed.   I agree that Alex talks too much, but at least she did try and be honest in her judging. I don't think Janet sang as well this week as she normally does.

Going to watch Doc Martin now, then BB.

We haven't had any youngsters knock here tonight, so we will just have to eat all the sweeties ourselves.      I ddin't think we would because it is only a small cul de sac, so not many kiddies here , but bought some sweeties just incase.

It is pouring down now too.

have a good evening...

watch out for those ghoolies and ghosties.

M
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
Drizzly here, but I got a load of ironing done.

That's a whole heap of leaves you've got Hicky. There's just a few on my lawn. The majority are still on the trees.

I had no trick or treaters either Mollie, but then I never do. One of the neighbours has kids, but I think they must drive them somewhere where there are richer pickings?

My worry with Faye and Louise being up on their own, is that all Jay's fans will vote to save Louise. That wouldn't be so bad if all Aaron fans liked Faye, but unfortunately it seems to about 50/50. Half like her and half hate her.
emptybox

Good afternoon both.

Not a bad day here so far, but had to quickly get in the half dried washing when we got a  quick shower earlier, nice and bright and mild again now though.

Hicky

day off today?  I wonder if you are starting work on your pergola now?

Emptybox

hope it is dry enough today for you to get some grass cut today.

Yes you have a point about the BB voting there. Faye could well go because of those reasons. But I can't understand why that crude Jay has so many fans. But maybe seeing Faye evicted this week would not be so bad from your point of view? You would at least get to see her on that other extra BB show, and on OK tv, and probably a longer BB interview than she would get in the final. She isn't likely to win because she has been pretty whingy, so would not lose out much if she went this week. I always think the other finalists that don't win it, end up getting not much air time.

Not that I am looking forward to seeing Louise in the final though, don't think she deserves it. Find her boring. She said she was going to finish her relationship with Jay, then changed her mind that week she heard his cheers.

have a good day both. xx

M

Good Afternoon Mollie & Emptybox.

Yep, day off today.

Been in the garden, putting new 3mm black plastic vine cord up, 5 rows, one of the vines in in a slightly shaded area by the Pergola and looks like it is going to need a lot of room to expand.

It came with 2 plants together in the pot to start with.

Think i told you i moved the figs so they get a little more sun during the day in the summer.

Yes, the lad standing by the baby in the park is the one we take to school

He's 5 in a few days i think.

The red jacket on the baby is the Halloween thingy, could be the devil.

The trees in the road are all about 50/60 feet high, you get a lot of leaves from them.

I had quite a few calling last night, had all the goodies ready anyway so that went well.

Shame none of you got callers after getting the stuff ready.

I like the Halloween picture Mollie, fantastic.

Managed to get an appointment at the dentist next Tuesday afternoon, could get earlier ones but times no good to me.

Went to find the Doctors Surgery this morning, found it ok, a massive white corner ex shop at the bottom of Grange Hill.

Only problem it's not ready yet, just a desk, a secretary but no phone.

They have the original phone number but can't get anyone.

I'll try again Thursday, no hurry.

still working on the Pergola in my mind, what timber to use and what style.

It's hard to say who will stay or go between Faye and Louise, I prefer Louise to stay myself.

Have a good day you 2 anyway.

Shipwrecked part 2 is on tonight E4 8pm, love that program.

Hicky
Evening.

Not a bad day at all here.

I put a load of washing on the line, but it wasn't completely dry by evening. I guess I'll have to start drying inside from now on?

Yes Mollie, it would be quite good to see Faye on BBBOTS etc, but I'd prefer her to be in the house for the final.

I'm glad I didn't get any halloween callers hicky. Couldn't be doing with all that.

Are you needing to see the doctor, or are you just trying to make a regular appointment?
emptybox

Good morning both x

HIcky

it all sounds very strange how the docs had to suddenly move. I know docs are now responsible for their own budgets, so maybe they had to move in a rush because their new accountant forgot to pay the rent.   But hope you can sort out what you need when you go there Thursday. Little Syd dressed up for Halloween, that explains the long red cape then. He looks a happy little chappie in those piccies, and his big brother looks cute too. Will he be having a 5th birthday party? Hope he has settled in his new school well. Does your OH do the school run when you are at work. Hope it is not too far away. I forgot about Shipwrecked. Is it a good series so far?  That pergola is going to keep you busy, but knowing you, it will look really good when done.

Emptybox

Yes think it is the end of the line for me too regards drying washing on the line, mine was still damp yesterday when it came in, so easier to tumble dry now, because I have so much to do each day.

I think it may be close between Louise and Fay on Friday.

Who do you think will win?

I really don't want Jay to win, and not keen on Tom winning either, because I  think undeneath the fun bit, he can be a bit of a strirer.

have a good day, quite a nice day here so far, but they are promising rain later.

M

Good afternoon Mollie & Emptybox.

I had an appointment last Tuesday but the place was shut up.

Been trying since.

Might take another look tomorrow if i can't get an answer.

It's only for my right ear, it needed more work to get the last of the wax out.

It's not urgent or anything, just as well.

Very cloudy today, at work though.

Been printing some idea's and methods of doing the Pergola, have plenty now.

Had the man out today to look at out colour Laser printer.

It was only the cartridges being low of ink that was giving the problem.

Each cartridge has a drum built in and it was marked with it being old.

The new ones now say 13,000 pages left for the 3 colour and black,

95,000 left on the image transfer kit.

131,550 left on the image fuser kit.

(and we've had these kits for years)

Hope Mollie is ok.

Hicky

Hi Mollie.

Just seen your post, it wasn't showing before.

The Docs thing was just a dispute over the rent, a partner in the building had bought the orther half out, he then wanted more rent.

They were in the process of moving anyway, but he locked everyone out.

I do the school run on Tuesday and Friday, O/H does the rest.

Can't get him in the local schools.

Here's one of the web pages i was looking at.

A nice Pergola, just for idea's, printed it out for home.

It will be close between Faye and Louise, no idea who will be evicted.

Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Not bad here. A bit colder and windier than of late.
Got a bit done anyway.

Ah I see Hicky. It's just for your ear that you want to  see the doc. Hope you track him down soon. I hate having wax in my ears. You spend all day trying to clear it with your finger.
Is that the laser printer at work you are talking about?

I hope Faye wins the show, but I know she doesn't stand a chance really. I think it's between Aaron and Alex. Can't stand Tom. As you say he is a stirrer. As is Louise in my opinion. Whenever she is 'advising' Faye on her relationship, she is subtely sticking the knife in IMO.
emptybox

Good afternoon both

Hicky

hope you managed to get in the docs to sort out what you needed. What a shame the little fella can't get into a local school. Maybe a place will come up later? It is lucky his mum is able to get you to help out doing the school run.

You forgot to post the pergola link.

Glad it was only the link that was the problem with the printers.

(is that the printers at work?)

Emptybox

hope it is dry for you to do your lawns. Our gardener came yesterday, he said he was glad to see the moles had not been out this time, because he had to flatten all the molehills last time before he could mow the grass. Do you get many molehills on your lawns?

I agree that Fay doesn't stand a chance of winning, she has been too whingy and weepy to appeal to the public,  I think. I agree it is probably between Alex and Aaron. And I also agree that it is probably going to be close between her and Louise on Friday.

A bit of sun here right now, ,it poured down when we took son to drama last night so the dog didn't get much of a walk. will try again now.

have a good day x

M
Evening Mollie and Hicky.

Nice and mild here today, and dry too.
Got one of my big grass cutting jobs finished for the season.
Think it's supposed to be wet tomorrow.

I might go to a local funeral tomorrow. Someone from the nearest village that I've known for years.
I won't bother if it's raining though.

Looking forward to BB tonight. Watching Crimewatch at the mo.
emptybox

Evening Mollie and Emptybox.

Hve sorted the Docs out and the Dentist.

Dentist Tuesday, Docs Thursday.

Your not supposed to use anything to get wax out of your ear, the place where it is most is far too sensitive to go near, but pushing anything in will only compace it more.

It needs the oil putting in and then stringing.

It was the laser printer at work.

Here's the Pergola link

http://www.popularmechanics.co...lans/pergola/3352816

It's only an example.

Been taking some leaves off the fruit trees. if they come off easy i catch them in a plastic bucket, saves picking them up off the floor, use a helping hand if i have to.

Still don't know who will be going tomorrow, the betting thinks Louise.

Taking the little one to school in the morning.

Hicky
Evening guys.
Not bad day here. Went to that funeral this morning then did a bit of work this afternoon.

Gutted Faye was evicted. But she had a great interview, and stood up for herself well on BBBOTS so all seems well.
What a beautiful, strong girl she is? And those legs.....

Going across to see my Brother tomorrow. It's their wedding anniversary and my Birthday in a few days, so  we are going for a meal out.
I'm getting spoiled for those. That's 2 in a fortnight.

Have a good weekend both.
emptybox

Evening Both.

Went for brekki with my lad, great.

It wasn't too bad a day today.

Had a lot of Sun, it was about 13 deg.

Went to B&Q with my lad to look at the different options with the wood.

Got a better idea now.

Waiting for the leaves to come off the Fig trees.

They see to have a slightly different period to the other trees.

They must get the leaves later and lose them later.

Was pleased to see Louise come off best, she will be over the moon of course.

Just watching SCD till X-Factor starts, then BB.

Hope you both enjoying the weekend.

Lots of Fireworks going off.

One of the little ones has a Birthday tomorrow so we will be there a lot, this ones 5.

Hicky

Hi both xx

Emptybox

Hope you have a good time at your brothers and enjoy the meal out. What day it it your birthday? Shame Fay went, bet you were disappointed, I wonder how close the votes were?

Hicky

I hope the little fella enjoys his birthday. Such a nice age 5 is.

That pergola in the piccy looks dead nice, it is certainly going to keep you very busy.

We have been to Cardiff today, we took the doggie, she has never been before, ,. went round the lovely river park walk there first, because it was so sunny and the autumn tress so pretty, then we went into town. Doggie was a bit overwhelmed with all the people around, it was very busy with Christmas shopperd, and she is not used to busy towns. But she did like the way lots of people stopped and spoke to her when we sat outside the cafe.

Had our in the garden tonight.

Got them from Lidl this year because they were a lot cheaper than other places, but they were very good. Had a party tea of hotdogs and pizza, and because we went to Cardiff, we had Krispy Kreme do-nuts tonight for X factor, as a change from Maltesers.   Apple and cinemmon is my fave.

hope you both too had a good day. xx

M

Evening Mollie.

Little one had a good Birthday, he had loads of Pressies as well.

we took some food down, cooked Pizza's Baked Pots, party sausages, and other finger foods.

It's been a good day weatherwise so did some more tidying up in the garden.

The weather has affected the leaves falling, the hot October has put things late.

The tree sellers are saying that they can't dig the tree's up yet to send them dry rooted to customers.

Hope Doggie didn't get too upset with all the fireworks.

We had some when it went dark earlier in my lads garden, the children loved them.

Hope Emptybox is having a good time with his Brother.

Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
I'm back after having a nice time at my Brother's.
We had a meal in an Italian restaurant. I stayed overnight and drove back this afternoon.

I stopped halfway to go to a supermarket, and when i came out I found I had a flat tyre. No ide how long I'd been driving with that, but i hadn't felt anything while driving.
I had to change the wheel in the ASDA car park, and got my hands covered in grease in the process. Then, because Jaguars only have those stupid space-saver spare wheels, I had to take the rest of the journey home carefully. I'll have to get that sorted during the week, but I'll be lucky if I don't need to buy a new tyre.

My birthday is this wednesday Mollie. The grand old age of 52.
Glad you enjoyed your trip to cardiff, and your fireworks.
My brother doesn't bother with those, but the youngest nephew had a sparkler in the garden. Just the one.

Hi Hicky. Glad your grandson enjoyed his birthday.
The leaves have only really started falling her in earnest this week. My back grass is now covered.
emptybox

Morning Emptybox.

An Italian meal sounds nice, i love all the different foods from around the world.

You very often can't tell your tyre is flat, sometimes on a bend it may let you know.

I've driven a few times with one flat.

If you go far on it the tyre is finished but too far and it goes on fire.

I bought a new tyre one day for a car years ago, was driving to London and back and got a puncture, didn't know at the time, took  the tire back to the one that sold it to me and he said if you run on it when flat the warranty is void.

Had to buy another one.

The forecast didn't say Frost this morning but the car screen was iced up.

Just had a few fireworks at my lads, 1 failed so O/H is taking it back, it was a biggish one probably worth ÂĢ10 or so.

Have put a bid in for some wheels and Winter tyres on Ebay, a couple of the tyres look ok, but it's handy to have some spare wheels then i can have a winter and summer set.

Just getting ready for brekki.

Hicky
Morning Hicky.

It's very frosty here as well. The windscreen of my van is still iced up and the lawn is mostly white.
I may get out later if it clears.

When I took the wheel off I had a quick look, and I couldn't see any damage, but the sidewalls could well be knackered from running on it? I'll have another look later.
I'll just have to see what they say. But if I need another tyre then I'll just have to stump up.

Those sound like expensive fireworks? So annoying when one doesn't work like that.

Yes, it's a good idea to have the winter tyres on seperate rims. Far less bother changing them over that way.   Specially if you plan to keep the car for a few years yet.

At least the X-factor judges did the right thing, and kept  Kitty.

Phew, I got off lightly in the end up.
The tyre turned out to be OK. Just needed the puncture repaired and the wheel balanced - ÂĢ15. Could have been a lot worse.

It had a hole where a big nail had gone in and come out again.
I reckon I could have drove all the way from my brother's like that. Over an hour. Because the braking felt a bit off all the way back.
emptybox

Good evening both

HIcky

Glad the little fella enjoyed his birthday.

How annoying about the firework, it is nerve raking if they don't go off because you are not sure when it is safe to go check.Hope your OH got the money back ok.

Yes Emptybox fireworks are that expensive now, but are usually good ones at that price, because instead of lots of little single ones in a box, they are a one light big firework with lots of shots in each one. We had 2 big single ones and 5 rockets for ÂĢ20, and the big single lighters were really good ones.   We got them from Lidl.

How was work today?  Do you still have plenty of work on?

Emptybox

Glad you had a nice enjoyable Italian meal. I too like Italian food. What a shame about your flat tyre though. Glad to hear it is not going to cost too much though after all.

fancy you driving all the way back from your brothers like that, no wonder the breaking felt off.

X Factor....Although I liked Johny, because he could hold a tune, and seemed like a friendly fella, it would not of been fair to let Kitty go , because she does have a strong powerful voice. Wish it had been Frankie though, his "singing" voice is just awful.

Wonder who will win BB? Not long till it finishes now, seems strange finishing in November. And then we have "I'm a Celeb" to look forward to. Wonder who will be on that? Hope the celebs are at least someone we have heard of though.

We too had wonderful weather all weekend, so went for lots of walks, and had ice lolly on seafront yesterday, lots of people out walking and enjoying the sun. Son was in theatre from 9am till 11pm yesterday, a special ceremony award thing for the bbc was held in the evening, that he was singing at with the others in his youth theatre. He had to take his black suit and dickey bow to wear, and he said he enjoyed it

Anyone watching that new drama on 5 nights this week , called the Jury? Looks quite good, I like Julie Walters.

have a good evening xxx

My poor little doggie didn't like the fireworks one bit, she was petrified, poor thing. Son stayed in the lounge with her, but she still ran trembling behind the cupboard, I wonder why some dogs are so scared of them?

Glad to hear the children enjoyed yours.

M
Hi Mollie.
I didn't get any work done in the end because the frost stayed on the grass all day.

Glad your sÃģn enjoyed his theatre production.

Didn't know you were interested in going to a BB eviction?
Yes there is a surprise eviction on Thursday, when the housemate with the lowest votes gets kicked out. It'll probably be Tom or louise.

Not sure who I'll vote for to win? I've been using Facebook voting all series, because it's only about 5p per vote. I voted a lot last week to try to keep  Faye in, and I've only got 5 votes left. I might as well use them up because they won't be much use after the series finishes.
It'll either be for aaron or Alex I think.

I didn't notice that Jury programme. I was watching that thing  on CH4 about the dead hippo.
emptybox

Good morning both x

Emptybox

gosh it must of been a very cold one there yesterday to stay frosty all day yesterday. It was cold here, but not frosty cold. Milder here today, but dull and grey. Can't complain though it is November, and is dry. Are you up to date lawn wise now? I guess growth has stopped now?

BB...My 2 choices to win would be the same as yours. Facebook votes seem like a bargain, I don't use facebook though, I have enough trouble working out how to use forums. I am definitely not a fan of Jay or Louise though, and I think Tom can be nasty at times.

Hicky

Day off today, so in the garden? Hope it stays dry for you if you are.

Have been busy viewing B and B's for my mum and have decided to move her. Been having trouble transferring docs and prescriptions, and her mobile library, so decided it was best to move her back to area where she was even though it is a bit further away from us, and now season finished got her a much nicer plac, closer to bus for same price.  So son is helping me move her tomorrow. At least this time we don't have furniture and utitliities to sort out though,

Brekkie time for me.. a slice of cheese and tomatoes on toast, I think.

have a good day both x

M

Morning Mollie & Emptybox.

Not a lot happening here.

Dentist this afternoon, they rang to get me to change the time as the Dentish had a meeting at 2.45, moved me to 3.30 now.

Very Frosty yesterday, about 10 deg now or higher.

Yep Mollie eviction Thursday, as Emptybox says, Tom or Louise probably.

I don't think you could have run very far on your flat tyre, depending on what type of tyres you have on the car, and the size of side wall, some are even designed so you can run on them flat.

It also depends on the loading in the car and what weight distribution is on a particular wheel at the time.

O/H took the firework back, it was an ÂĢ8 one.

Little one wasn't well so never did the school run today.

Not sure about these wheels yet, the bidding is still open but only me has bid so far, 1 day left yet.

They are in Preston, about an hour away from me.

If i don't get them it's not a problem, i'll just try again somewhere.

Won another ÂĢ2.50 on the lottery, thats 9 times since September the 9th.

Total winnings ÂĢ48.10p

Went for a Carvery last night, don't get much chance at the mo with O/H spending a lot of time sorting MIL out with meals etc, hoping she can get the plaster off her leg soon.

Emptybox

hope you have a lovely birthday. Here is some cake and balloons for you incase you haven't had chance to get some in.

Are you treating yourself to a special tea today?

Guess it is good that you still have plenty of work still lined up? Helps to pay towards those ever increasing heating bills, I guess.

Hicky

hope you got on ok at the dentist.

Does the little fella have a cold? I can remember when mine were that age what a lot of colds they got from school. It was a good job he was well last week for his birthday though. Hope your bid is successful. Didnt realise your MIL had broken her leg, can't be easy for your OH having to help look after her. How did she do that? Is she at home? Glad to hear you were both able to grab a bit of free time to go to the carvary though.

I so hope Jay is out on Thursday, he is a nasty piece of work imo. It was about time he got  a warning off BB for the stuff he was saying.

Busy day to come, we are moving my mum this afternoon.

Not a bad day here so far, bit cloudy, but dry at least.

have a good day x

M

Good afternoon Mollie & Birthday Boy Emptybox.

Happy Birthday Emptybox,

Strange how my little cake looks so much like the one Mollie bought you.

Teeth sorted, the one i broke on the crackling has been smoothed out, the one i chipped on the fork in the sausage has been tidied up, filed filled etc.

bidding has ended on the wheels/tyres, will sort out tonight.

Didn't see any other Bid.

it's quiet in the office, 1 boss is playing golf, the other one has just gone to take the prizes.

Littls feller had a temperature the other day, not sure yet if he went this morning.

When i don't take them O/H does.

Her Mum fell in the house, but she keeps falling, not very well at the mo, seems to be going down hill, not sure why.

She 84 so not young.

She is at hme, and the family is looking after her, O/H does most of it.

Don't think Jay will be out Thursday, could be Louise or Tom, but you never know with the public.

glad you got more work done Emptybox, seems to have gone a bit warmer, think I'll wrap the figs up for the Winter.

Watched the new Sorority program last night, started with 50 girls.

Hicky
Thanks Hicky.
Your cake doesn't seem to change colour, the way Mollie's does?

I got some more work done this afternoon. As you say, no sign of frost the last couple of days.

Glad you got your teeth sorted. You wouldn't want anything to hold you back when you've always got all that food to get through?

I broke the pair of glasses that I use for work. Not my newer varifocal ones, but an older pair of bifocals.
The frames were those flexi type, but they can obviously only stand so much flexing, cos they snapped.  Mind you they were about 7 years old, so I can't say I didn't my use out of them.
Luckily I've got an even older pair that are still OK for driving, so I'll wear them for work.

I see BB is on at 9pm tonight, and then they are havjng BBBOTS didectly from the garden, so the housemates will see and hear everything, although they'll be locked in the house. Stupid idea if you ask me.
Not sure if that's on five or 5*? So not sure if you'll be able to catch it Hicky?
