Just made 1 kg of Vanilla Fudge, think I will cover each side in Belgium Chocolate just to make it a bit more yummy before I cut it into pieces.
Just waiting for it to cool before I melt the Chocolate.

There was problems for people not getting onto the forum Mike for a while, but as you can see all sorted out . Go onto your Personal Zone then Private Messaging and try that way.

Darloboy..Glad to hear you had fun clubbing. I am an ex clubber too in my youth. Loved it. I used to go to loads of clubs in Birmingham then. And I still love dance music.

I too have hit the shops today. Asda this mornign, me and OH trying on clothes, and brekkie in there too. Then we took the kids to Borders to browse the books this afernoon.

Cloudy here today, but only a little rain.

Don't tell my Mum though she never knew where I went I was always at a friends house as far as she was concerned

I've just had to go out again as next door needed some shopping and they are in their 70s, so we try to take care of them the best we can they are really lovely people so don't mind doing their little bits and pieces

Cloudy here too and looks like we'll get rain tonight at some point.

Ooooooo books I'd have been there all day OH hates it when I go near Waterstones. He knows I can't come out of there without a stack of books to read

They are such lovely neighbours and we've know each other for 22 years now so they have seen my daughter grow up. They became like substitute grandparents to her as both our parents used to live quite a long way away. So they were there to help out these very new parents through it all.
My in laws are now down here in their retirement. So OH tends to help them alot now as well.

I buy most of my books from amazon, what I didn't realise was that both are part of the same company

Oh I was allowed to the roller skating rink, It was every saturday afternoon at the local corn exchange The mornings were taken up with the kids club at the cinema, special saturday morning matinees for under 16s. Oh those were the days of pure fun :deep sigh:

It is isn't it it's probably the only reason we don't want to move house. We'd hate to leave them behind

Hi Mollie.

It's been a quiet day, most visitors came yesterday.
Just did a bit in the garden and made some Fudge and covered it in Belgium Chocolate, watched a bit of TV, nice and peaceful really.

New office is great, can see out of the front of the house now, the other one was at the back.

It would be nice to get them to the dinner table without bribery but alas the telly is dominant part of living here. The miracle of that is I rarely know what is actually on I seem to be able to completely zone it out
