Afternoon Mollie & Emptybox.

Blazing Sun all day here, wow.

Just extended my driving license online, have to every 2 years now.

You might have to get the Anya spuds from Sainsbury's, they were made specially for Lady Sainsburys some years ago and are a cross between 2 varieties.

They really are lovely, can be used for salads or just boiled or roasting.

Will get the seed ones for planting next year anyway.

I really want Heaven to go, but feel sorry for Aden stuck in the house without Rebeckah.

Hope Mollie is ok.

Hicky
I'm jealous of your sunshine Hicky.
It's been over-cast and windy here. Not particularly cold mind, but I could do with some sun.
Got some work done anyway.

I'll have a look out those Anya pots next year Hicky. My new Sainsburys will be up and running by then. In fact it opens in less than 3 weeks, provided there's no delays.

Didn't realise you had to renew every 2 years Hicky? At least you can do it online now anyway.

BTW this is Rebeckah's Twitter, if you hadn't found it already. http://twitter.com/#!/kandilashes

I hope it's not too long before mollie gets her internet sorted?
emptybox

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

It's been pretty Sunny all day, was very busy at work though.

I have to wait a few weeks for the license, mind you it doesn't run out till mid decamber.

Thanks for the Rebeckah twitter link, following her now.

Hope Mollie gets her internet sorted as you said.

The heat wave carry's on again tomorrow

At least i'm off till Monday.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.
Lovely sunny day here as well. Perhaps not as warm as yesterday, but still shirt-sleeve weather. Need a jumper on at this time of night though.

That potato peeler looks nifty, but I've no idea how efficient it would be? It might take too much off, or it might leave the occasional bit that you'd have to take off by hand.
I just use a hand peeler, but I've usually only got myself to cater for anyway.

Looking forward to BB tonight.
emptybox

Evening Emptybox.

Very hot here today, 25 in the shade.

Found a great potato peeler, but everyone said sold out, none available.

A good one peels 1kg in 2 minutes.

Went to garden center for an ice cream and got some more garlic sets and onion sets.

Went to my lads at 4pm, cut some overhanging branches down, well i footed the ladder., they are from outside the garden and the birds sit on them.

BB was good, what we saw of it anyway.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.
Yes I think it was the hottest day here as well.
I think the weather is set to get wetter for me now, but you might get another few good days.

Hope you manage to train your vine OK. Are whips involved?

I'm the same as you, I wasn't bothered as long as Heaven or Aden went. In some ways I would have liked to see how Rebeckah was with Aden. But that will come.

If it's dry tomorrow I think I should get one of my big jobs done.

Watching The Bachelor. Layla is actually a friend of Aisleyne

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Very hot again here, 29 on one of my therms.

I've done some more work on my vine bridge, should be interesting, it's about 7 or 8 ft high, screwed 2 20mm square postsone each side on the existing trellis, put the vines need room to expand.

Will be pruning them in the winter of course when all the leaves are off. will be repostioning some of the brances and cutting a lot off.

I saw the Batchelor, nice girls but not impressed with the idea at all.

Can't remember any of thier names.

Watching 2 hrs of X-Factor with the judges. till BB comes on.

Been at my lads for a while, gave him a hand to repair onr of the decking joists.

We cut some tree branches down and one was very heavy and crunched onto one of the 150x50 joists but it had a knot on the underside so it needed repairing.

Going to get him some more deck boards in the morning.

Had a BBQ on some of the new decking, brill so far.

Hope Mollie gets her comms sorted soon.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.
Still warm here, but wet and misty, so no grass cutting for me.

Glad you had a good day and enjoyed your barbie.

The Batchelor is quite good, but I haven't heard of Gavin Henson having a new girlfriend, so presumably it didn't work out? Or it's all being kept hush hush till it's televised? Ash's friend is still tweeting anyway, so she probably didn't win, but can't say who did.

Watched the final episode of this series of Dr Who, then X-Factor, then BB
All the girls on X-Factor are great singers, but only 4 can go through.
Glad Kitty is in the over 25 category, so she's more chance of getting through.

I'm sure it can't be long before Mollie is back?
emptybox

Good Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

No Sun here today.

Had brekki with my lad and his lad in Sainsburys, went to B&Q for decking wood.

Worked on his decking, still a bit to do, just doing what we have wood for, get some more wood next week.

Enjoyed x-Factor, only listen to the girls anyway, fellers voices were boring.

Still think it's a pity we don't have live feed, we really are being kidded.

Hope Mollie will be back online soon.

Work tomorrow for me.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.
Pity the sun has gone in, but glad you got some decking done.

Raining here all day, so I didn't get out in my garden. The grass needs cut, but it'll have to wait.
Wouldn't be surprised if this warm weather extended the growing season by a week or so?

Looking forward to seeing whose got through on the X-Factor later.
emptybox

Good Morning Mollie & Emptybox.

Happy Monday again.

A disappointing day yesterday, had hoped for better.

Kept fairly dry doing the decking as some overhanging tree's kept the rain off.

Enjoyed X-Factor, hard to cut out 50% from the singers in each group.

They can only keep 4, and even then only if they think they could win.

BB was OK, didn't see bbbots was on too late really, will watch that tonight on 5*.

Got to change all the vat file back from 3rd qtr to 4th qtr now, thats a job and a half.

Have to print all the sections out for the accountants for the end of year.

No sign of Mollie yet, won't be long now.

Hicky

Back at last .. hooray.

Missed you both..

will read back later to see how you both are. x

hope you are enjoying BB. I am, just about managed to not miss any of it.

How stressful is a big family move  We are still in a mess, and only sleeping on mattesses on floor, and clothes in piles, but OH and lads have started to put togeher wardrobes and bookshelves now. Really hot weather, and the nice area we are in are all too tempting , so we are are still shutting the door on the mess too often...eg yesterday me and OH were eating ice-lollies on beach instead of sorting stuff,  And sorting my mums move too is time consuming. She gets her keys Saturday too.

We spent a lot of time leaving the last house very clean and the garden done nice before we left. But the last estate agent for our last rental has made me fume..  When  we applied to get back our months deposit, that the LL said we could back in full because she was pleased with how we had looked after the place, the deposit place told me I could not even apply for it for 4 weeks, because the esteate agent had kept it in their own account for the whole 6 months of our tenancy, and only paid it into the scheme when we gave notice.  The agent said he "forgot" to pay it into the scheme.

Son has just told me there is a big pool of water in front of the washing machine, so will have to get OH to check he connected it properly..

be back later to read what you two have been up to whilst I have been moving.

M

Hi I am back again..

Just read back, see you both are watching X factor, I am too. Isn't the young girl similiar looking to Diane Vickers? Those judges houses abroad looked so lovely.

Hicky

Even though you have finished your own garden, I see you are just as busy with your lads garden now.   Is Sydd enjoying his baby walker you got him? I bet he looks dead cute in that.

Empybox

Glad you too managed to get some of the warn sunshine up there. It has been very hot here , but at lunch time today, it finally moved on, and it became windy and cloudy. Yes, I bet all that sun has extended the growing season for you. Hopefully that means you get to earn a bit more this autumn though.

We have a really big garden here, it is in very good condition, but we are lucky enough to have a gardener included within the rent, and (unlike our last but one home), at least this time the gardener actually comes. He comes every 2 weeks, he tells me, just to cut grass, so not sure when he stops coming for winter yet.

How is the van running now? Hope it isn't giving you too much problems. And is the Jag running ok now?

OH finally got a new family car, He got a Mitsubishi grandis because the 3 rows of seats were just right for us.  We had a Mitsubishi last time and also one in Australia and have been pleased with both of them, so hopefully it will be ok for us.

Lots on tv tonight with my Corrie, then Doc Martin, I like that, followed by BB of course. Wonder who will be up for eviction this week?

have a good evening both.

M

Evening Mollie.

Glad to have you back.

It will take a bit of time to settle in your new place, no hurry, don't go overdoing it now.

My lads decking is almost finished, i buy him some more wood each week.

We chopped/sawn some big branches from an old apple tree and some big overhanging branches from a big public grassed area.

We had a BBQ the other day on some of the decking, the area will be 3600 x 8000 which is great.

got to get 1 tonne of top soil for the raised veg plot and 1 tonne of rubber chopping for the play area.

Still loads to do.

Had some Peaches off the peach tree, not as big as usual but they may be bigger when the tree gets bigger.

Will be planting my Onion sets and Garlic sets tomorrow if weather ok.

Sidd loves his baby walker and hanging baby swing.

I'll take some pictures.

It looks like the Sunny spell has ended, will be cooler now in day and night.

Enjoyed X-Factor, and BB, had a busy day at work because of the 3rd vat qtr ending, had to set the files workings back to zero for the 4th qtr.

BB in 5 minutes.

Take it easy now Mollie

Hicky

Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Lovely to have you back Mollie.

I'm sure you'll soon get to grips with your unpacking etc, but a good idea to take advantage of the good weather while it lasted.

Not nice here today. Cloudy windy and raining off and on.

I haven't heard of that model of car, but I hope you find it suits you.

Mine are running OK, but the van is making just as much noise as before.

Pity you had trouble with the deposit again.
Hope your Mum moves OK.

I was sad that Jade Richards didn't get through on X-Factor, but I like Kitty and Janet Devlin and the young 16year old girl; Amelia is it?

Great pity that Faye and Maisy are both up. I don't want to lose either, but I think I'll vote for Faye to stay. They really don't want males to watch this show, do they? Getting rid of all the girls.

Hi Hicky.

Sounds like your son's garden is coming along.

Hope you get your onions and garlic sets planted tomorrow.

emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

It was Amelia, Janet, Misha & Sophie that got through to the live shows.

Just a pity they can only bring 4, they make the groups up when they are hopeles and chop the girls out when they are good.

It's nothing to do with talent it's just all for the judges, just a game really.

They will probably say well come back next year.

Don't know whats going on in the house, voting to nominate those 2 girls seems like it's a set up myself

Loise, Alex, Anton & Harry voted for both.

Something funny there.

If it ends up all fellers here's one that won't be watching.

Good to see Mollie is getting sorted, always hard this moving llark.

Got my onions and garlic planted, cut the grass, wow, that was hard, need my blade sharpening on the flymo.

Took a kilo of Toms off the plants, so many ripening now every day.

Had another Fig off one of the tree's, didn't even know it was ripening.

One had fallen on the floor all ready.

Didn't eat that one but the other was lovely.

Hicky

Hi both

HIcky

looking forward to the Sydd and your lads garden pics. Wonder what you will find to do when his garden is all done?   Sounds like your garden food is doing well too. Our grass was covered in mole hills this morning. Glad we don't have to cut the grass now.

Emptybox

Glad your cars are running ok but pity that noise is as bad as ever.

Perhaps they will bring in some new girl HM's, can't see the show being any good with just fellas. But I am glad Alex isn't up, she is my fave girl.

another day of sorting utilities out again.   Had a double bill off the water , when we weren't even living in the new house, but they said they would amend it. Had difficulties setting up BT and Eon online, want to do online though when they can sort it because it saves money.

goodnight both. xx

M
Evening.
Cold windy and cloudy here, but I got a bit done anyway.

Glad you could get your onions planted and grass cut Hicky.
Yes, I've got a glut of tomatoes at the mo as well. I'm having tomato sandwiches for lunch every second day, and lots of tomato salads.

Hope you get your utilities sorted out Mollie.
Not sure i want any new girl HMs yet. I haven't finished looking at the old ones yet.
emptybox

Good morning both.

Emptybox

glad you got a bit done despite the weather yesterday. It is very windy here today, I bet all the fallen leaves are keeping you busy aren't they?

at you enjoying looking at the girls we have.

I think Alex seems to have the sweetest nature of all the girls, because I don't go on their looks, but can't work Louise out though. Faye I find irritating, especailly when drunk (which she often seems to be), and grizzly, so not keen on her.

Hicky

office or gardening today? If it is office, hope you get the vat sorted ok.

how has your breathing been lately? Did they manage to sort your inhaler out to stop that dizzy stuff? Hope so.

Time for me to do office stuff, I told accountant I would post it off last week, and I haven't even looked at it yet.

have a good day both x

M
Evening.
Not too bad a day here, warmer than yesterday with a little sun, but verynwindy and the occasional shower.
Got one of my big grass cuttkng jobs done. Solid 3 and a half hours, tramping behind my mower.

Faye is my favourite Mollie. I know she can be a little immature, but her hearts in the right place, and she's gorgeous.
I like Alex as well, but I don't buy that she thinks Barbie is a real person, and she thinks Willie wonka's Chocolate Factory is a real place. Nobody could be that daft.

Mark was silly to go. He had a good chance of winning. But again, he was one who I think was acting at times.

Hope the weather was good for you two
emptybox

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Just going to watch bbbots from last night on demand.

Was pretty busy at work

It was the Funeral today of the bloke who died in the press shop last week.

Awful, he was operating a massive overhead crane lifting Press Die's weighing many tons apiece.

Glad you got some work done Empybox, hope you've got the power drive and don't have to push the mower.

You take it easy now Mollie, let the others take the strain.

Hicky

Good Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Couldn't get much done in the garden today because of strong winds,

Made a Dopiaza curry, took my 4yr old grandson to B&Q for a look round.

He loves seeing all the stuff.

Went to the Moby for a Carvery.

Watched last night's bbbots with Mark on it, he's so funny, well worth watching on 5* demand.

Saw also, Harry had messed up the food budget by getting 500 Banana's.

Just watching 'How to Build a Volcano'

Then Extrardinary People, the 8 limbed Boy.

Then BB, followed by bbbots.

Hope Mollie is taking it easy.

Hope you was able to get some work done today Emptybox.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.
No I wasn't able to get any work done, it was very showery. Everytime I thought I might get out another shower came.

Instead I cleaned the house. Hoovered and dusted etc.
My brother is supposed to be coming this weekend, although he hasn't phoned yet.
They are leaving their dog with me for a fortnight, while they go on their hols. So I'll have company in the house for a couple of weeks.

Very sad to hear of the tradgedy at your workplace Hicky. That must have been a downer for everybody there.

Hope you enjoyed your carvery?

Very nervous about the eviction tomorrow. It's going to be very close between maisy and Faye. I've nothing against Maisy, she's very pretty, but I really want faye to stay.
emptybox

Hi both

had an absolute chaous day trying to sort out my mums move. Dont think we can organise it all for Wednesday, so will have to postpone.

Emptybox

how lovely that you get to borrow the doggie for a whole 2 weeks.   The only problem is when he goes it will feel all lonely again. What sort of dog is it? Where is your brother going to? shame about the showers, but at least you got the house all nice ready for your visitors.

Hicky

how awful for that to happen to someone at work, very sad.

Aaaww at the 4 year old enjoying B and Q, sounds like you have a future helper there for your DIY.

Shame Mark went, he was a good HM.

tommorrow morning I have to go to Cardiff for the consultant appoitment. OH having morning off to take me.

Now Hicky has mentioned the carvery, I think I fancy us going out for one too soon.

have a good evening both x

M
Hi Mollie.
Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

Yes, I would think you have enough to do with your own house, without having to handle your Mum's move as well. Has to be tackled though I suppose.

I don't really get lonely Mollie, but it'll be nice to have the dog for a while, as long as she doesn't kick up a fuss when she's left alone, when I'm working. She's just a short-legged black mixture of a dog, but with a nice nature. Unfortunately she doesn't like bigger dogs, and has been known to have a go at them, so i'll have to be careful if the neighbours dog is about.

My brother is just visiting 2 or 3 friends in England. Staying  few days with each. They do quite well for holidays. I think this is their third this year.
emptybox

Good Afternoon Mollie & Emptybox.

Still pretty windy here, Sun is out between many clouds.

Rather you than me having the dog, no way would we entertain any dog at all.

Very sad about the accident, still not sure why it happened, he shouldn't have been working on his own at the time.

Loved the Carvery, we don't stay long, just have the meal then leave, a steady stream of people getting served.

But it saves making meals at home.

The betting is 1/6 for Maisy and 7/2 for Faye but it doesn't always reflect the actual public voting.

Take it easy Mollie, hope all is ok when you see the consultant, hope you did go for a lovely Carvery.

It's a lot for you to sort out your Mums house as well as yours, hope it's ok this time.

That was funny with Harry sabotaging the food ordering, 500 banana's and no food for them,

just breakfast cereal milk and food colouring.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.
Yes Gem (Jem?) certainly looks like she could crack a few nuts.

Not sure if it's a good thing for Faye, her sister going in? It might turn people against her?
I think she'll be fun to watch anyway.

Lovely day here, if a bit windy.

I hadn't realised I would be expected to entertain the dog? I may try cracking a few jokes, or perhaps a little dance routine, but I suspect she'll be non-plussed.

Hope Ã―ou had a good day Mollie?

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Hope your visit went ok Emptybox.

Weather a bit better today but still damp and some wind.

Went to the Fruit thingy at the garden centre but the person didn't turn up.

Got some of my questions answered though.

Enjoyed BB and X-Factor, should be interesting with Faye's sister going in.

Just found out fron Rebeckah that she was supposed to have a meal with Aden tonight as the result of a task but Tom won, she's going bonkers.

Hope Mollie is OK, and her Mum is sorted.

Hicky

Hi Both

Emptybox

hope your brothers visit went well and hope doggie settles in well and behaves well for you. I wonder if it will eat ok? My dog doesn't eat much at all if I am not around. In fact if any of the family go out she sits and looks out the window all the time till they get back.

Hicky

Will watch the Aex proposal after I do this post. Bit cheesy doing that on tv, isn't it?   But as long as they are happy together, that is what matters, and I think she will be fine with him, he seemed a decent sort on CBB.

We went to the carvery on Friday after you spoke about it. Really enjoyed it too.

Hospital visit went fine, was there most of morning, they were very nice to me. Doctor very thorough with all the questions, and I had to have 9 test tubes of blood taken for 9 different tests on it. He suspects a clotting problem, that is minor, but needs to be watched for trauma events such as surgery. Have to go back in 6 weeks for results. Such a huge hosptial compared to our local home town one that I am used to.

I had a headache that morning due to all the stress of mums move, but could take nothing because of the tests, so it was rather trying for me.

Mums move has ground to a halt, had to refuse to sign the tenancy, it was awful, even the agent said he would not of signed such a thing himself, he said the LL's solicitor had prepared it themselves. So i will not know till tommorrow if they will change the contract. I didn't get it till Thursday evening, and she was due to get the keys Saturday. There was 10 pages of legal garbage to try and suss out. No wonder i had a headache next day.I have had to cancel the removals man and her BT line, and the final inspection date for the place she is leaving.

Another trying week to come I fear.

Good job BB and X factor gave me some nice relaxing time.

Some good voices on X factor this year I think for week 1. Tonight's show though was very hard  I thought for those who had to leave.

Goodnight both

hope you have enjoyed your weekend. xx

M

Hi Mollie.

Sorry to hear about your Mums proposed move problem, what a disaster.

Hope you blood test are ok

I'm at the docs in the morning because i told one of the nurses that i had stopped taking the powder inhaler, i have since restarted, but couldn't really tell if it was working or not.

Rebeckah had to have her date with Tom.

Here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-OhBXmk7-I

Enjoyed SCD, X-F and BB.

Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
Very wet here this morning, but dried up enough this afternoon to get a bit done.

My Brother's visit went well. They seemed to like the chicken in tomato and chilli sauce that i did for them anyway.

The dog seems to be settling in Ok. I gave her a little walk when i came in from work.

Glad your consultant visit went OK Mollie. Pity about the problems with your Mum's move. I hope they get sorted soon.

Hope you get your inhalers sorted Hicky.
