Evening.
We seem to have a new layout for the site.
And I can't help notice, you both have pictures at the bottom of your posts, and I havnae?
Did you choose signatures when you joined, but they didn't show up under the old layout?

Weather not too bad today. Dry but muggy up until 6pm, when the rain started.
However 3 days of rain meant that everything is sodden,so the grass was difficult to cut.

Is that your OH retiring as a school dinner lady Hicky? Hopefully she'll be given some sort of presentation to mark the occasion?
Hope your blood pressure results turn out OK.
I think your house would be worth more than that if it were round here? That's about the price of a 3 bed bungalow round here.

I saw that story about Chantelle this morning Mollie. It's very sad.

Good Morning Both.

Hi Emptybox.

It's so long ago now, can't remember about the Signature, but used to have this one showing originally.

It's good to see the recent topics at the side, will encourage more people to join in without searching and going back to the front area which I don't do.

That wind has stopped anyway, for now.

My O/H isn't classed as a dinner lady, she gets a lot more than all the other canteen & kitchen staff, she was taken on as a cashire and thats all she's ever done there.

She got a presentation from the council, they wanted her to go and get it from the Mayor, but she wouldn't, doesn't like a fuss.

She's going out with the other kitchen staff Thursday night for a meal.

The house prices are pretty grim, if you can't get a mortgage you can't buy/sell anything.

You'll have to sort your little picture out, they look good.

Hope Molly has a good day today anyway.

Enjoyed Kitchen Nightmares last night, and Undercover Boss.

Hicky

Good morning both

Yes, how strange is that about our piccies turning up after all this time.

I chose mine when we first came here, but couldnt' work out how to put it where your penguin is Emptybox, so it must of stayed all that time in a different place, and now has suddenly appeared. Looks like you will be able to add one too now, wouldn't want you feeling left out.

Pouring here this morning,

Emptybox

bet you need the weather to dry up a bit so you can whiz through the long grass, doesn't look too hopefully today again.

Hicky

that is nice of your OH to choose a little momento for the people she worked with. But she has worked with them for such a long time, I bet she will miss seeing them each day, but will probably be grateful for the extra free time. Hope she enjoys her evening out on Thursday.

Yes these house prices in this country are ridiculous now comapared to the average wage. It does not help the economy either, if housing is so expensive no-one will have anything left after paying big mortgages or high rents with all this inflation around too. (except the bankers who I read have awarded themselves another ÂĢ14 billion in bonuses, all care of the the tax payer too I expect)..

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...rs-14bn-bonuses.html

Quote

"...While Westminster fiddled over the phone-hacking frenzy, the European economy was burning last night.
World financial watchdogs issued an extraordinary warning of a global economic ‘earthquake’ triggered by the failure of many countries to get to grips with massive debts.
To add insult to injury, it emerged yesterday that those largely responsible for bringing Britain’s economy to its knees – bankers and finance workers – have scooped bonuses totalling ÂĢ14billion this year..."

Hope you don't find it too expensive to maintain your present home Hicky, it does look a nice large home, but that is the trouble with fuel being expensive now, it does make it hard.

There is a big article in Heat with some pics of Chantelle and the story I mentioned yesterday. She is dating Alex, there is a pic of them out and holding hands. Let's hope he is good for her.

Time for a bit of cleaning, then some paperwork.

have a good day. xx

M

Hi Mollie.

I've caught up with the work at work, free now.

My O/H will miss her friends at school, but she still has many to chat with at Sainsbury's, not that she gets time at work to chat but they have night out and can do that.

The only ones that are buying houses must those moving house.

First time buyers must be nil.

Don't understand these bankers at all, they don't have any money, only someone elses.

I can't see our pensions paying for all the outlays on the house, with gas/electric and everything else going up all the time.

We'll just have to see.

I hope Alex treats Chantelle right, she has had enough upsets, she'll never get over Preston though.

You both have a good day.

Hicky
Evening.
Very wet here today. It did dry up in late afternoon, but not worth while doing any work.
Think it's supposed to be better for tomorrow and Friday though?

Went into town to do some banking and pay a couple of bills, but didn't do much else.

Not sure what they are going to do about this international debt, in Greece and other countries, but it makes the stock market very volatile.

Yes house prices here have not fallen very much. Sellers seem to prefer to leave the house on the market for long periods, or to rent it out, rather than reducing the price.
There have been houses near here unsold after more than 2 years on the market, but the prices have only been reduced by a few thousand.

Not much on telly tonight.
I watched the repeat of the Sherlock series, because I missed it first time round.

Sorry for calling your OH a "school dinner lady" Hicky.
Is she going to continue working at the supermarket for a while?

I'm still considering whether to put a signature on.
emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

It wasn't too bad yesterday, always nice when I'm at work.

There's a lot of countries in financial trouble.

I can't see how the 1st time buyers are going to get the deposit needed.

My O/H will continue at Sainsbury's, she can't get the government pension yet as they have moved the goal post and because of where her birthday falls she now has to work an extra few years.

Hope you can get some work done today with it being calmer.

Hope Mollie has a good  day.

Hicky

Good evening both

Hicky

hope your OH has a nice evening out for her work farewell. Makes me mad how they have moved pension goal posts for women like your OH, no money in the pot because they gave it all to their banking pals.   And it is sad if you have to move home because of the bills, after all the work you have done in the house and garden. Fuel bills ridiculous though. Can't believe they have just said gas to go up 18% again. Just watching itv saying lost of food gone up 40% too, I had noticed our food bill growing rapidly.

Hope weather was ok for your day off today, it was quite nice here this morning, but rained later, didn't mind too much because I had got loads of washing dry by then.

Emptybox

hope it was a bit drier for you too there today.

I know how quickly you can get behind with your work if it is wet.

House prices have started falling quicker here now, There are still lots who won't lower their prices and just leave it sitting on the market unsold, (not real sellers if they don't adjust price to suit market imo). Still too expensive for us yet though.Would rather rent than get a debt on a depreciating illiquid asset right now though.

Trouble brewing as you say with all the international money troubles though, and this country also up to its eyeyballs in debt now.

Yes Hicky I hope Alex will be good to Chantelle, but i think she has a lot of hang ups. He did seem like a decent guy on CBB though and I guess with both of them being CBB winners, they have a lot in common.

Did you watch 8 out of 10 cats last night?

Those twins Jedward so make me laugh...

OH and son out looking at cars again.

Am watching Coronation Street next, then Peter Andre.

Have a good evening both xx

M

evening Mollie.

O/H went for a nice meal after work with the kitchen staff.

They gave her a nice ornament grandmother holding grandchild, very nice.

Went for a Chinese Meal tonight, just the 2 of us.

The weather wasn't too bad, some Sun, no rain, slight wind.

I'll give you some Official BB links in case you want to use them.

There are a lot of unofficial ones out there.

I did watch 8 out of 10 cats, Jedward are funny, dim as well it seems.

Evening.
Lovely day here, so I was able to get a lot done, so I'm not too far behind at the moment.

Glad your OH enjoyed the meal with her colleagues. And glad they gave her a momento.

I saw that some of the ex-BBers were filming an advert for the new series. Chantelle was there, and Michelle Bass among others. Fairly sure Aisleyne wasn't there though.

Looks like they've come to some temporary solution for the Greek debt, so the shares have gone up a bit.. But it'll only be temporary I would think?
I see they are saying that interest rates are likely to stay low for another couple of years, so that'll help those on a mortgage a little.
If house prices came down a bit round here I might consider buying, but they don't show any signs of shifting.
I've also noticed th\t my shopping basket is going up in price.

Watched Torchwood earlier.
emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

I like Brian, most of the time, like Emma as well.

Went to Docs, Bloods fine, BP Fine, Pulse fine.

Going to see the Doc next Friday to see if it might be the Medication I'm on.

Which I thought it was a long time ago.

Nice picture of Chanelle in a Bikini.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/ho...-in-racy-bikini.html

Paid the Tax man, ordered some more curry kits from the Asiancookshop

Just off to Costco, need some Meat for curries.

Hope Mollie is having a good day.

The Sun is out hwere, not bad really.

O/H came home from the school with loads of cards. flowers, B&Q gift cards.

Hicky

Good evening both

Hicky

where did all that BB news suddenly spring from?   Not that I am compaining, thanks for them all, will go and read each one in a minute.

Great news that we have Brian presenting it, I am hopeful for a bit of humour and light heartedness on the show now. And great news too that Emma too is a presenter. She is one of the few presenters who was a real BB fan, so knew what she was talking about. A good presenter too because she is so friendly.

Can't believe it starts so soon, thought it was due August. they haven't promoted it at all considering it is next week then. Couldn't of been starting at a worse time for me though, son's drama performance that week, so I will be out on the Wednesday night.  Plus my aunts are coming to stay for a few days too in a local B and B so they can see us all and see the show.

Hicky

what a nice pressie that ornament was to give your OH. And very suitable as she has so recently had some new grandchildren, And nice for her to get cards, flowers and B and Q voucher too. What doe she fancy getting with the voucher. I bet she feels really strange now she has finally finished after all those years.

I bet you enjoyed your Chinese meal.

We have been to the Harvester tonight, I had a sweet potatoe burger, and mash and nice salad from help yourself cart. Very nice it was.

Very pleased to hear all your tests at the docs were fine. No surprise I guess that the meds were causing it, that is the trouble, most meds give us some side effect. Have they agreed to change your original meds?

What else did you get from Costco?

Emptybox

Glad you got some good weather , so you aren't behind work wise.

I haven't seen the BB advert you mention. I take it you saw it on Channel 5? Glad Chantelle was in on it though. Was Alex on it too?

Yes looks like a sticky plaster has been put on the Greek thing, but as you say, probably won't keep shares up long, It also means gold has gone down a bit, think might buy a bit more if it loses a bit more, because I think it will go up when the sticky plaster falls off again,   Now the funny thing is that the Daily Express always ramps up property and said interest rates would stay low, but on the same day the Daily Mail said that trouble in EU means they are likely to go up here because we have so much liability with their banks.

I know you are probably  aware already, but if you do think of buying a property be careful you do plenty of research, even estate agents now know some sellers are still asking way over what a property is really worth....

see this on their own estate agents site. Good job we can now check recent sold prices in areas.  I used nethouseprices. Do you know this site? Or mouseprice, or zoopla.

here is the article on estate agents site..

http://www.estateagenttoday.co...htmove-tells-sellers

So yes a good idea to wait for prices to come down a bit more before you think of buying. I am sure they will.

Off now to enjoy Hicky's BB links.

have a good evening both xx

M

Hi Mollie.

I put the wrong month down for the start of BB, it's Wednesday the 17th of August, not July.

So no Panic, plenty of time yet, 3 weeks yet.

No idea what O/H will get from B&Q with her vouchers, but she wants to redecorate the hale and landing.

I see the Doc next Friday about the meds, will have to wait.

We got some meat from Costco, 1.5kg of Belly pork, 3kg of braising steak (for the curries), a sausage pack, a fillet steak about 1kg, 5 doz eggs, 1kg mushrooms, 4 pink grapefruit, 1kg of large tomatoes, pack of 8 corn on the com, 2 x 4 pints of milk, 1kg of strawberry's, packs of cucumber, lettuce, crate of 33cl bottled water, large pack of large lamb chops. pack of scampi, a slab of fresh wild Salmon, a twin pack of chickens, pack of dried island fruits, pink lady apples, creme brule, a container of florentine (650g)

Didn't do too ad really.

Hoping for a good weekend.

Having brekkie in Sainsburys, but my lad is working so he can't come, O/H finishes at 10am so will meet her there.

There will be plenty of news, I'll pass it over when I get it.

Hicky

Morning Mollie and Hicky.

Weather not bad here. I'll maybe go out and do a bit of work after lunch.

Only problem is that yesterday the drive belt on my mower broke, so I've got to shove it along, which means it's taking me longer.

I've sent off for a new belt from Ebay, not very expensive, but it'll take a few days to come.

I suppose I could have put it in for repair, but it might have taken a long time and my spare mowers aren't working very well, if at all. It'll only be a 5 minute job to fit the new belt when it comes.

That's good Hicky, that you have got the all clear, as far as BP etc is concerned.

Hope the doc on Friday, can get the bottom of it.

Hi Mollie.

Thanks for the tips regarding house prices. I'll keep an eye on them.

Trouble is that some sellers are quite content to hang on to their houses till the prices rise again. And I think prices are only likely to fall further if we have a real economic meltdown. Otherwise I think they will start to rise again fairly soon.

I don't think the BB advert has been on telly yet. It was only filmed this week.

I find that I'm not fussed at all about BB returning. Maybe I'll get interested nearer the middle of August when it's starting? I'm definitely going to watch it, but at the moment I have a take it or leave it attitude.

Hope the good weather continues, and you both have a good weekend?

emptybox

Evening Emptybox.

It's been lovely here all day.

That belt going is a blow, thought you would have spare ones at home.

I'm excited about the start of CBB, wonder who on earth they have talked into joining, it's been kept pretty secret.

I think I heard that the adverts are starting on C5 from today, or maybe tomorrow.

My Lad rang, brekkie at Sainsbury's again in the morning.

Went to B&Q, got a Sun/Moon Wallart, O/H wanted one, and a new pretty plant pot to house the new plant she was given.

Not a lot of TV tonight.

Watched 'The Mystery of the Nevada', it looks like the high rise and fall winds over the mountains are the problem myself.

If they pull you down to earth at 3000 ft a minute you are then going to fly into a hill.

Hicky

Hi Hicky, glad you had a good day.

That sun/moon wallart sounds interesting. Is it just artwork, or does it have a function?

I got out to do a bit of work this afternoon. Got a lot to do in the early part of next week, but the broken belt will hold me back.

Spent till after 8pm yesterday trying to fit a belt from my spare mower, but as it's different make and model, the belt was too large to fit.

If it's going to be something that happens regularly, it'll be a good idea to have a spare around, as you say.

I thought my Dad had various belts that might have been suitable, but I think I may have used them up in older mowers?

I didn't see that Nevada programme, so don't know what it's about. Something about aircrafts disappearing over the sierra navada mountains?

Sad news about the death of Amy Winehouse. She was a great artist, but a mess of a person.

Aisleyne is very upset about it, they were good friends.

emptybox

Afternoon Emptybox.

The Wallart is just a metal section cut out and shaped, painted etc, It's about 30" across, I've fastened it up on the kitchen wall outside for her.

Those Belts are a neusance, you really need spares for any mower you have.

In the Nevada triangle, about 2,000 planes have gone down over the years.

But they never send distress signals or are ever heard of again.

You can't see most of the ground from a plane so rescue is really not on.

It's all hills so you just fly straight into one.

But the winds seem to be the problem, they rise and fall very high and at terific speed, they they get caught up and dashed to the ground and then can never gain enough hight to get over the next ridge.

Amy was on a long downward spiral, sad end really.

I bought a new Fig from B&Q, must be new stock, it's a cracker, and loaded with Figs all ready.

Will have to give it a new pot but the pot has got Tomato's in at the MO.

Hope Mollie had a good weekend.

Work tomorrow.

Hicky

Hi Hicky. Lovely day here. Sunshine, blue sky.

That Nevada programme sounds like it was interesting. I'd heard of the Bermuda triangle, but not the Nevada one.

I had visitors this morning, just some old friends of my Dad's, then I went for my weekly shop, and this afternoon I cut my own hedge. I should really do some ironing now before supper, but not sure I'll bother?

Amy was a tragedy waiting to happen right enough.
As you can see from the pics in the Mail, Ash rushed round as soon as she heard, but was very distressed.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvs...ne-tragic-death.html

Hope you are getting the lovely weather Mollie?

Good evening both

made a long post last night and my flippen lappy crashed, so I lost the lot.

And then when I went to bed daughter was really ill all night with sickness/diarrhea, continued for hours, worst any of my kids have ever had. Phoned NHS direct and they said if it didn't ease within couple hours to ring back, and make sure she got water. Luckily it did start to ease, but not till after she had about 20 vomiting sessions. poor girl exhausted , spent night on bathroom floor, couldn't even make it to bed in room adjoining. I think it was  a Macdonalds chicken thing she ate fro tea. Luckily she is dozing now, so hopefully she will improve in few days. NHS said probably be a week until over it.

Hicky

last night before I lost post I was saying, a big thanks for the BB stuff. Can;t wait for that, glad it is next month, not this one. I enjoyed seeing the new eye, and the pic of the old HM's being led by Chantelle and Alex.   I reckon Emptbyox because he says he doesn't feel too excited is going to get really into it when it starts.

LOL at your shopping list from Costcos, you certainly are well stocked up now for when the family visit. Hope the doc changes your meds when you see him Friday as they are giving you side effects. Sounds like your new fig tree is going to give you plenty of fruit to enjoy.I hadn't heart about Nevada either, had heard of Bermuda triaingle though.

Emptybox

oh no, sorry to hear you belt on your mower has gone now, and just as you are so busy mowing wise, Hope the weather is dry so you don't get too behind, and that you are able to sort the mower out quickly. Glad to hear you had a few visitors today. Did you manage to find a few biscuits in the cupboard for them?   I had it if someone comes to cal unexpectedl, and we have eaten all our biscuit and cake supplies. Not that we get man visitors though.

Yes shame about Amy , so young, but as you say a tragedy in waiting.

Son at theatre for 12 and half hours today and again tommorrow. They have first performance on Wednesday night.

Hope you have had a good day.xxx

Not been too bad here weather wise, but has been cloudy all day.

M

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

I reckon with Amy it was a bad tablet, if  you buy off non medical dealers then you are going to get done at one time or other.

Someone could be charged with causing her death if they find were she got the tablets.

We had a few visitors, but usual on a Sunday.

Ine of my other Lads called in with his G/F, they are getting married in April, he's been married before, has a daughter of 10.

He drives a BMW X5.

Thats awful about your daughter Mollie.

Maybe it was the chicken, got to be so careful.

Fancy losing your post, so annoying when that happens.

I think it's going to be a great BB, BBLB & BBBM joined by the looks of it.

Adverts starting on C5 from now.

Had a few of the Nectarines off the tree, they were getting a bit soft so thought best too take them off.

Very nice.

Will repot for next year anyway.

Hicky
Evening.

Sorry to hear that your daughter wasn't well Mollie. Hope she is back to normal soon.

I forgot to offer my visitors biscuits. Haven't quite got the hang of this hospitality lark.
I did make them coffee though.

Your son puts in long hours when he has these theatre productions Mollie. Sounds exhausting.

You're getting lots of exotic fruits Hicky, what with nectarines and figs?
I haven't been watching anything on CH5, so I haven't seen any BB adverts.
emptybox

Morning Everyone.

Happy Monday again.

I haven't seen the adverts on the TV myself, just the trailer.

Weather looks a bit better, forecast says some rain on Thursday and Sunday, that for the next 10 days, not too bad here then.

My Lad in Oz was flying over to Brisbane to see some mates, he had a few days off owing, 5hr flight.

No more news on the BB front that I can see

Hope Mollies Daughter is feeling bettter, it will make her very week being sick like that.

Not sure if my Boss, the one on the Cruise is back again yet, so it might be another quiet day.

Hicky

Good morning both

lovely day here today, which is good because I have loads of extra washing after daughter being ill. Fortunately her vomiting stopped yesterday, stomach still not right, so just drinking water and little apple juice. NHS line said it would take awhile, so she is staying in bed and no-one else using the same bathroom. NHS advised that too. That NHS 24 hour phoneline was really very good, spent a lot of time advising us.

Hicky

Yes another family wedding to come. How lovely.

Yes I agree I too, I think this will be a good BB, I hope so, we want it to be a bit of fun for the HM's and for the viewers. I hope we dont get this stupid rationing toilet rolls and toiletries this time. I would like to see some good fun competitive well thought out tasks, and some happy go lucky HM's who really want to be there. Not whingy ones who don't even want to bother with tasks, who want to leave as soon as they get there.I think Brian and Emma will bring a bit of fun to the whole show though.

Glad your nectarines came out well.

Hope your day at work is not too busy, and hope the good weather holds for you when your day off comes.

that is nice for your lad to take a bit of a break with friends in Brisbane. Best time of year now it is mid winter over there. Oz is such a big country isn't it? I couldn't belieive how everywhere was measured in flight hours as opposed to driving hours.

Emptybox

hope it is dry for you so you can get on with those lawns, and that your broken mower doesn't slow you down too much.

at you forgetting to offer your visitors the biscuits. At least that means all the more for you I guess.

time to peg out a bit more washing.

have a good day both x

M
Hi Mollie. That's fantastic artwork in the dirt on vans.
Looks like you got the same guy in to do your avatar?

It was nice and dry here, but cool and cloudy.
I was quite glad it wasn't too warm though, as I was sweating up a storm shoving that blasted mower for hours on end. It'll do my biceps and calf muscles no end of good though.

Glad your daughter is a bit better today.

Hi Hicky.
Hope your son enjoys his break with his mates.
Hope you weren't too busy at work today?

Doesn't seem to be much on the telly tonight? But I've got a couple of things recorded from the weekend to watch.
emptybox

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Boss came back, Ha, just my luck, never mind wasn't too bad.

Glad your daughter is a bit better, glad NHS helped you.

We'll just have to wait and see about CBB/BB.

I suppose they can't really use normal milage to describe distances, flight hours is all they know.

Very clever Artist Mollie, drawing in dust like that.

Bad news pushing your Mower Emptybox, don't want to do that too often eh.

Not much on the TV, might be recording for me as well.

Hicky

Good afternoon all

Nice warm and sunny day here today, hope it is where you are too.

Hicky

pity that boss of yours hadn't taken a bit of a longer holiday.

Hopefully you should be able to get outdoors today for you day off.

Emptybox

Yes you are right, pushing that mower is hard work, but it will do your man muscles endless good.

Let's hope we don't have a heatwave for you though, whilst you are having to mow like this.

Yes, not much on tv last night, I find Saturday nights awful too.

so I went with OH to pick up son from theatre last night. For a change , the sea was so peaceful and calm, and it was warm for 10pm. Dog enjoyed herself too. Son doing dress rehearsals today , so at theatre 9am till 10.30 pm, think I will go again for a late night walk, when OH picks him up.

Daughter bit better, still in bed though, felt nausea first thing, but luckily hasn't been sick today.

time to peg out a bit more washing again, at least it is a good drying day again

M

Evening All. ILWY, Mollie & Emptybox.

It's been glorious today.

Went to the Garden Center for some grit and JI No. 3 for my new Tubs I bought.

Moved one pot of Tomato's from the Tub that was for the Fig Tree into a new Tub, quite a job really, needed O/H to give a hand.

Glad your Daughter hasn't been sick today, good improvement.

Hi ILWY.

Good to see you here, we just chat about everyday things till CBB/BB starts again, we've been here for years.

Hicky
Evening all.

Not bad day here. Warm in the sunshine, but chilly and cloudy at times.
There was a lot of rain overnight though, so the grass was soaking wet.

Glad your daughter is continuing to improve Mollie.
Did you get your late evening walk today?

Hi Hicky.
You're always making some improvement or other in your garden?
Good job your OH was able to give you a hand.

A lot on TV at 9pm tonight.
I recorded The Hour and Undercover Boss, and watched the Richard Hammond thing on BBC1.
emptybox

Morning Everyone.

It looks like another nice day here, I'm at work though.

So nice yesterday, very slight wind so it was nice to sit out in the sun.

One of the vines has loads of grapes on it, when I moved the Tomato plants to get the Tub it lets me get by more of the Vine, if we get enough nice weather I could be getting some grapes.

The new vine has grapes on it but don't think they will be ready to eat this year, with it being in the garden center early on it will be behind.

The Undercover Boss was good, also Kitchen Nightmares, love that.

Just waiting for my new delivery of Curry Kits to come, have ordered about 6 different varieties this time as my Lad fancied some of the 14 available.

I have the Braising Steak, I got 3kg enough for 3 curries.

Have order a seal for the Dish Washer, we have had it for many years but it's not cleaning some of the stuff properly, thought at first it was the water heater but looking at the way the top basket gets it's water supply from the back of the washer when the bascket is pushed in made me think the seal wasn't doing it's job.

Searched on the web and found a spare distributor that has every part you could imagine.

It's an 'Indesit' so hope it is the problem, you need to know the Machine model, bu it's on the front.

Hope Mollie is OK, not overdoing it.

Hicky

Good afternoon all

Hicky

Glad you got the nice weather on your day off yesterday.

Fingers crossed you get lots more sun for those grapes of yours.

When I was reading you were getting a seal, at first , until I read further, I thought you meant this sort of seal...]

Isn't he just so cute though?

Anyway hope you can fix your dishwasher ok.

I bet you will have plenty of visitors to enjoy those curries of yours soon.

I bet it was hard work mowing those lawns after it had rained on them.Just keep thinking of those man muscles though, and without even the cost of going to the gym.

Yes we got late night walk in on the seafront last night. Lovely evening, sea calm and it was warm. Son was in theatre 9am till 10.40pm.  Tonight is their opening night, dropped him off for final rehearsal to be followed by performance tonight.

The dog normally loves her walks on the seafront but not last night she didn't. Poor thing was petrified, there was a firework display. It was not right in front of us, but was still noisy and bright. OH had to take her back to the car, she was trembling head to paw. He put radio on full volume and she hid under car seat until it was over. Hope it hasn't put her off going there now. I think they have firework displays every evening for holidaymakers in summer, so won't take dog again at night this time of year.

OH and I off to see son's drama group tonight. Don't think I will be missing much on tv though?

Daughter ate a bit of plain potato yesterday, and had an actimel, and she is asking for a jacket pototo today, so hopefully she will start to get strength back now.

hope you both have a good day.

xx

Hi Mollie.

Thats a lovely Seal, be hard to put it in the Dish Washer though.

Can't wait for the Curries to come, my Lad has even said which to make first.

That was a long time for you lad to be in the theatre, it will be nice to go and see him

Wonder why dogs don't like Fireworks, wonder if it's due to the sensitivity of their ears?

Glad your daughter is improving, shows you how it can take it out of you.

She will be a lot better when she can eat normal again.

Hope Emptybox got some work done today?

Hicky
