Evening Mollie.

Hope they get some good HM's from these auditions anyway.

Lilly Allen looked nice, and expecting as well, hope all goes well.

I saw the dress of her Sister, if thats what she wears then it's ok by me.

They seem to have more Chickens next door as well.

Noticed some new ones.

Depending on the weather tomorrow, will have to wait, got loads to do in the garden.

Hicky

Good afternoon both

Emptybox

I think we got your pouring rain today, is is now nearly 2pm and it hasn't stopped pouring all day.

Are your phonelines/internet ok now?  Hope so.

Hicky

hope you get in your garden ok today.

From the weather forecast I think it is supposed to be dry up north, so this rain will hopefully not move up there until you have finished in your garden.

I had a phonecall from the theatre on Friday to say they had 2 cancellation tickets to see Michael Ball for tonight, so me and daughter are looking forward to going to that tonght. I had phoned in January for tickets for this concert and they had all gone, but lucky they put me on the waiting list for cancellations,  and they had these 2 seats cancel at the last minute. .

hope you both have a good Sunday. xx

M

Evening Mollie.

It has rained all day here, it stopped at 7pm, not starting work now.

Went to the garden centre to look at vines, one of mine keeps getting broken limbs, the joints are fairly week at the point they form from the branch.

Lost a couple of branches last year, and a couple this year, nothing really left now.

Going to scrap it.

Saw a lovely new one, but it had a price tag of ÂĢ44.99 so will have to wait till next Friday now at least.

They looked like a new intake, but one plant stood out, it also had loads of bunches of grapes on and a lot of new growth, they all had double trunks so probably 2 plants in one.

I was inside the Summer House putting the support in for the shelves, will get some more decking next week, might use thre decking I got to make the fence, same stuff.

Going to watch the Grand Prix, but think it's delayed due to bad weather.

It looks a good night on BBC2 as well.

That was handy Mollie getting that phone call, have a good night, Michael Ball will always be good.

Hope Emptybox had a good day.

Work in the Morning.

Hicky
Evening.

Not too bad a day here. It was dry up until this evening, when the rain came on.
I got my grass cut and hoed the beds. Also did a massive pile of ironing.

That was a bit of luck getting those tickets Mollie. I hope you enjoy the performance.
Did you get a discount for taking them at the last minute?

Hicky, pity the weather wasn't kind, but at least you got something done in your summerhouse.

My phone and internet seem to be working fine now.

Popstar to Operastar was OK, but not as good as last week. Thought the right one went though.
emptybox

Good Afternoon Both.

Been busy at work today.

Not sure what weather is like, should have been ok this afternoon anyway,

Not sure whats on tonight, may be America's got Talent at 9pm or so.

If the weather is ok when I get home I'mm probably work in the garden, plenty to be getting on with.

Hope you both had a good day and weather was ok.

Hicky

Good evening both xx

Hicky

hope you have a nice relaxing evening after your busy day at work today.  Did you manage to get some time in your garden when you got home?

It was wet here most of the day, but did dry up nicely by the end of the day.

Don't forget our photo of the summerhouse when you get time.

Emptybox

sounds like you had a busy Sunday with doing your garden and loads of ironing. It poured with rain the whole day here yesterday.  There is certainly no drought here in Wales right now.   Glad your phone and internet are working ok now.

Me and daughter enjoyed Michael Ball. Every seat was full. No Emptybox, we didn't get a discount for the last minute tickets unfortunately, because there was a list of people wanting them, so we were lucky to get any at all. I felt tired today, because I am not used to going out at night, so have saved all my washing until tommorrow, when they are promising good weather. Hope they are right.

have a good evening both xx

M

Evening Mollie.

Got home about 6pm, thought I had better get some work done outside while the sun was out.

Made the shelves for the Summer House, double board all round, that gives me a continuous shelf of 24cm and 5 metre long, will hold quite a few gardening bits, like fertiliser and sprays etc.

It looks like it should be nice tomorrow, max 17deg.

Glad you enjoyed Michael Ball, he's a great Singer.

Your still doing too much too soon by the sounds of it.

Don't get yourself tired.

Hope Emptybox had a good day?

Hicky
Evening.

Glad you enjoyed your concert Mollie. i suppose if the theatre was full, they could charge the full amount unfortunately?

Very mixed weather here. Some sunshine, but windy and with frequent showers. Got a bit done anyway.

Watching the documentary by Terry Pratchet about assisted suicide. Very interesting. I'm recording the one about the Walton sextuplets.
emptybox

Good evening both

Summer came back here again today.   Warm and sunny. Got loads of washing out and dried.

And we took the dog a walk down the seafront, lots of people out and about, mainly pensioners who had come on coach trip holidays.

Hope you both also got the sun today.

Hicky

that sounds like plenty of shelving space you have made yourself in that summer house HIcky.   Did you get outdoors today too?

Emptybox

I bet the grass is growing fast with all the showers and sun we are getting now. Good in a way as it keeps you in work I guess. Hope the weather today meant you could get out and get on with things.

I too watched the Walton girls. It is nice how close they all seem to be, their parents did an excellent job with them. (ooopppsss don't know why the italics came on then )

Do either of you watch Four Rooms on C4?  I enjoy that, they sure get some weird stuff to value. They had a stuffed giant turtle today. He only paid ÂĢ300 for it, but sold it to one of the dealers for ÂĢ1200.

The forecast isn't promising such good weather tommorrow unfortunately. Never mind, hopefully we still have lots of summer weather to come with it only being June. I need chance to wear all my new summer flowery frocks.

Can you see all these lovely roses on our your joyjoy background now?

I believe they have done them in rememberance of one of the posters on BB who passed away recently.   What a nice thing for them to organise here though.

have a good evening both xx

M

Hi Emptybox.

Fantastic day here today,Sun all day.

Put more shelves into the Summer house, gave the front a coat of decking oil.

I'll be able to put the glass in now.

Didn't watch the assisted suicide, you should be able to choose how and when you die as as i'm concerned, but not much interested in watching it.

Went to the garden centre, got them to keep a new vine for me, it looks a good one.

Got a couple of bags of John Innis No. 3 and a bag of grit.

Thats all some of the blokes on the TV use, and on some On-Line video's of planting in tubs and boxes.

Went for a Carvery again, great meal.

Just watching America's got Talent.

Hope Mollie had a good day.

Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
Yes it was a lovely day here as well. Very warm and sunny. But as you say Mollie, the forecast is not nearly as good fot the next few days.

Yes, the Walton girls seem a credit to their parents.
I do watch Four Rooms, in fact I'm watching my recording of it at this minute.
You'll not be surprised that the girl dealer is a big part of the programme's attraction for me.
She looks a bit like Posh Spice, but a more cheerful version.

I wouldn't have noticed the roses, if you hadn't pointed them out Mollie, but they sound like a nice gesture.

Hi Hicky. Glad you enjoyed your carvery meal.
I hope you get a good vine?
emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

With it being so nice yesterday/last night I stayed in the garden till late, didn't want to make too much noise but it was so warm.

The Apprentice on tonight so I'll have to get in, I saw some of the America's got Talent, nothing fantastic.

Can't stay up late when I have to get up at 6am.

Had quite a lot of work to do today, but it passes the day.

I could eat that Carvery every day, for the price it's fantastic, with 2 large glasses or coke and the 2 meals comes to ÂĢ13, can't complain at that.

I picked out the vine I wanted, lots of new growth with loads og bunches on, probably no good for this year.

Hope Mollie has a good day as well.

Hicky

Hi Hicky.
It was actually quite a nice day here again. Not as nice as yesterday, a lot more cloud, but very warm.

Glad you were able to work late in the garden last night. Hope you weren't too busy today.

The Apprentice was quite good, but I wouldn't have read either of the mags, even though they were free.

Lokking forwad to watching Celeb salon later.
emptybox

Good afternoon both

Hicky

glad you got to enjoy the carvary again. What a bargain it is for what you get,   Glad the good weather has meant you have been able to get on with your garden work. Hope work is not too busy today.

Emptybox

Glad you too have been getting the nice weather up there.

at the lady valuer being the main attraction of Four Rooms for you, I find her fascinating. She is so attractive, but in an original sort of Goth way, and she certainly knows her stuff about the pieces that interest her. I should imagine it is very unusual for a female, and someone so young, to be an expert in the macabre stuff like she is. Goes with her Goth image I reckon.

Yes the Apprentice was good last night, but what rubbish those free mags looked.

Today it is a mix of showers and sun, so I will time the doggie walk for the sunny bits hopefully.

have a good day both xx

M

EveningMollie & Emptybox.

Not too bad a day today, day off Mollie, well I'm off till Monday anyway.

Put the power into my Summer House.

Put an ouside light on the front of the Summer House.

It comes on if you break the beam.

Going to get a timer to control the street lamp, will have it coming on for a few hours a night,

My lad is working from Perth at the Mo in Oz, he sure gets around.

But the job is 2hrs flight for him in a plane to the outback, it's a mine for iron ore.

Think he's doing 2 weeks about.

Went out for a meal again, just had pie with chips and gravy.

Not sure about The Apprentice, non seem to stand out yet, and not so many left.

Wonder what happens if L.S. doesn't want to work with any of them?

Just watched the Fishing and The Sex Researchers

Will be getting some wood tomorrow from B&Q, need 12 decking boards.

And if I get to the garden center will get my Vine.

Hope you both had a good afternoon?.

Hicky

Good morning both

very showery here today so far.

Hicky

glad your garden plans are coming on well. Hope it is dry today for you to carry on.

Don't blame you going out for a meal again. There are such good value places to go now, and of course, no tidying up after.   That is nice that your lad is seeing around the country, else it can get very boring in Oz in one place. I found it interesting when I learnt that Perth is the most isolated cities in the world, and it is closer to Singapore than to Sydney. One of my friends used to live there, but left after a while because she was bored of having nowhere to go without an extra long flight. As it is winter out there now, this is probably the best time of year for your lad to work in the outback, because it is so unpleasant in summer. I hope he enjoys the experience.

Emptybox

yes we managed to get the dog walk inbetween the showers.

How are those glasses of yours now? do you find them a lot better than your old ones?

It is my OH's half day today.
We hope to go to Cardiff, but will have to limit myself to 1 hour in Primark, because it tired me so much last time. The trouble is that the hour consists of 15 mins wait for the changing room, and 15 mins wait for the till, so I only get half hour to hunt the bargains for me and the family. Stops me overspending I guess though   Then I will need to rest in my family's fave place..Krispy Kreme do-nuts. I love one of their do-nuts with  a coffe..

have a good day both.

still raining here.

M

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

I've had a busy day, went to B&Q for the decking timber, finished it all now.

All the shelving finished, trellis/fence done to shield the bins.

Brought a brekkie back from the food van in the carpark.

Going to put the 3 light lampost on a timer, might need a dusk to dawn sensor as well.

Didn't get to the garden center, will go in the morning for the vine.

Need a couple more of those trays yoi put grow bags on, I want them to stand my bags of compost etc in the summer house.

Should be able to tidy the garden up now I have the room.

My Lad was saying he felt cold in the outback, no wonder if it's the winter there.

Hope you day at Cardiff went ok Mollie, take it easy.

Hope you were able to get some work done today Emptybox.

Have a good weekend both of you.

Still no word from the Mum to Be, it,s due any day now.

Cooked a Belly Pork, and made a Dopiaza curry, using Braising Steak, yummy, my lads will love it.

My Lad in Oz will be missing my Curries.

Hicky
Evening.

Not too bad here. The rain came on about 5 pm and cut me off short, but I got quite a lot done anyway.
I'll have to work tomorrow, if it's dry.

Hope you got what you wanted in primark Mollie.
15 minute queues would put me off I think. Not that I ever bother with changing rooms anyway. But I guess it's different for girls?

Another hard day in the garden Hicky? That's good that you got all your deking done.
I'm sure your family will appreciate your culinary efforts.

After I was rained off I went into town to the supermarket, so I wouldn't have to go tomorrow if I am working.
Unfortunately my usual supermarket Haldanes has closed down (I think the whole chain has gone bust?), so I went to lidl's instead. Much cheaper, but I wasn't able to get my usual brands.

Watched Lady GaGa on Paul O'Grady. She was OK, but I'm not that fond of any of her present songs.
Going to watch the final episode of Celebrity Salon now. Ash has had a great reception from the Irish viewers.
emptybox

Good evening all

Hicky

well done on finishing the decking and shelving. Your brekkie from the cart was well deserved. Did you make it to the garden centre today?

Yes I bet the outback would be very cold at night as it is mid winter, I found winters felt really cold in Oz, the houses didn't seem to have such good central heating or insulation as we have here. Yes I bet your family will appreciate your home cooking.

Emptybox

glad you are well pleased with your glasses.

Shame about your local supermarket going bust. Yes I find Lidl is cheaper , but limited choice of branded stuff.

Glad you enjoyed your celeb salon.

did you get much work done today. I am guessing it was sphag bal for tea?

Had a nice afternoon in Cardiff yesterday. Managed to get some leggings and T shirts that I needed for a good price. Had a nice toffee vanilla latte in my fave coffee shop. We found a new American sweetie shop and bought some cheesy popcorn, peanut butter M and M's and a peanut butter Twix to share. Yummy, but expensive because it was imported.

Showery on and off today, so just went to Asda for brekkie and got my mums groceries. OH took the family to the cinema to see Pirates of the caribean, which they enjoyed. Really busy there he said.

Anyone watching Dermot OLeary's new show tonight on itv?

I am going to give it a go.

have a good evening.xx

oh nearly forgot took dog walk up mountain on my own, and it was really steep, and my breathing is much better since my op.   I had no problem walking to the top. Still can't beleive they treated me for asthma that I never had, for 10 years.

Hicky.. how is your breathing now? Are you still taking the inhlaer? I know you said it was helping you.

M

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Not a bad day here.

Went to the garden center fo the vine, it's a bonnie one, loads of new grown and bunches on it.

Planted it as well.

Even cut the lawn.

Meeting one of my lads in Sainsbury's for brekkie, O/H will join us after work.

Makes a change.

He's been trying to take me for a brekkie for many weeks but I've always eaten all ready when he rings.

My other Lad's young lady is still not had her baby, the hospital keeps telling them to take more painkillers for the pain.

They are building a new Aldi here, opens soon, never been to a Lidl.

You did well in Cardiff,

Never had cheesy popcorn though.

Not watching Dermot, don't like him much.

My breathing is ok really, take the 24hr inhaler in the morning, the 'Spiriva Respimat', I have more trouble with my Artritis, that limits what I do, don't get short of breath, just ache if I stay in one position too long.

The weather doesn't look too bad tomorrow.

Have a good day tomorrow.

Hicky
Evening.

Wet here all day, so no work done.

Mollie, glad you had a good day in Cardiff.
Also, you must be improving if you take the dog up the mountain without problems?
I watched a bit of Dermott's programme. It was quite funny. I also watched a bit of Lee Mack's prog as well.

Hi Hicky. Glad you got your vine OK, and the good weather to plant it.
Bet your whole family will be relieved when your Son's Mrs pops?
emptybox

Good afternoon both

It is a nice sunny day here at last, bit of a breeze, so will take my cardy when we go walk on seafront with doggie later. Already taken her a walk, but we like to go down seafront whilst son is in the threatre.

Hicky

glad you are pleased with the vine, hope it does well.

If your OH is meeting you after work for brekkie, she must start work real early in the day? Hope you enjoyed sharing a nice brekkie together.

The poor lady, the waiting seems endless when you are at end of term. Sounds like baby is too comfy, hope it arrives soon. Glad the breathing is ok now, it is good your meds last for 24 hours at a time. Shame about arthritus. Do you take anything for that? I hear that glucosamine is supposed to be good.

Emptybpx

day off for you today?

Are you watching Pop star to opera still?

I think the man should of gone last week, can't remember his name though.

I think Mylene makes a good job of this show.

is it true BB is due to start in August? and is is CBB or Joe public? I wonder if they will offer livefeed?

have a good day, off to get ready for a walk down seaside.

hope you both have good weather. xx

M

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Vine looks good.

Baby still not arrived, mother in hospital, last heard from them at 7cm dilation that was 5.30.

Nothing since.

Hope you got your seafront walk Mollie.

O/H starts at 5.30am at the weekend, finishes at 10.30 Sunday

We all had a nice brekkie.

I take Glusosomine and Condruitin and sometimes MSM, with Omega3 fish oil capsules every morning as well.

Have done for years, O/H as well.

Couldn't manage without them, don't take any pain killers, seldom have pain.

O/H has pain, she has different Arthritis.

CBB starts August for 4 weeks, BB start September for 13 weeks.

Then it will get back to normal, with CBB in Jan again.

Work tomorrow.

Was just watching Countryfile, now Coast.

Built a framework to rest all the bamboo canes on.

Half finished the supply to the waterproof twin sockets to supply the streetlamp on a timer, found a drum of armoured cable in the garage, forgot about it, can see better now we have more room.

Hicky
Hi   Mollie and Hicky.

Not good weather here at all. Raining most of the day.
Haven't done much except some hoovering and cleaning etc.

Hope you enjoyed your seaside walk Mollie?
I was watching a film earlier, but I watched the Popstar to opera star results show.

Hi Hicky.
That was lucky finding that drum of cabling.
emptybox

Good Morning Both.

I have another Grandson, born at 1.40am, weighing inat 9LB 3oz same as his Dad.

I could even hear him crying at 2.15am as my lad rang my O/H and we could hear the baby.

I had forgotten about the cable I had, but with clearing the garage a bit it came to light, saves me buying some anyway.

Still got loads left.

Hope it's not too busy at work, feel like having an easy day

Roll on Brekkie

Shame about you having rain Emptybox, never saw any here, if was very hot all day, a bit of a breeze though.

Which stopped at 10pm.

Hope you both have a lovely day.

Hicky
Congratulations Hicky!
Another addition to your burgeoning family, and a blooming big and healthy one, by the sound of it?

It was a lovely warm day, so i got a lot of work done. Only downside is that the flys are out in force because of the muggy conditions.

Not much on TV tonight. I'm watching a comedy film on CH4 at the mo.
emptybox

Hicky ] on the birth of your grandson. How cute that you could hear him when your son rang you. Another big bouncy babe too,

Thanks for the BB info, not long to wait then

Where do you get your glucosamine tablets from? I might take some after my recent problems.

Emptybox

Glad you got the sunny day so you could catch up at work a little.

we had a lovely walk on seafront yesterday, nice to see the sun for a change. By this afternoon, it was pouring again though.

had an appoitment with my surgeon today, had blood test, so have to wait for results of that.., to check thyroid and calcium it was.  Said scar healing well, to keep apllying cream to it. He said it might swell on the side that they didn't take out, so have to go back to check that next year, or if I feel any change. They will write about blood test.

hope you both had a good day.

when do you get to see the new babe Hicky?

goodnight both xx

M
Morning
Wet here, so no work this morning anyway.
It's supposed to be the longest day today, but looks like it's going to be one of the most miserable as well (weatherwise).

Hope your blood tests come back OK Mollie. It's good that they are generally pleased with your progress.

Oh yeah, I was meaning to ask about your arthritis as well Hicky.
My knees are begining to get a bit creaky nowadays, with all the kneeling on damp ground that I have done with my job I expect, and I was thinking of starting to take something like those omega 3 tablets to keep them from ceasing up completely.
emptybox

Morning Mollie & Emptybox.

Not too bad here today, had some sun, got my power cable into the summer house.

Can't find another 13 plug top.

Might have to go to B&Q.

Thanks for the congrats you 2, he looks a good un, may be seeing him today.

I now get the Glucosomine tabvlets and the omega oil capsules from Costco.

Used to order them online but Costco always have them in.

Hope you blood test is ok Mollie, glad the scar is healing, my scar can hardly be seen at all now, fantastic.

Yes, the longest day today, still got quite a bit to do in the gareden, it's never ending.

You Defo need the Oil capsules Emptybox.

You should always use a kneeler anyway,

Have a good day, will try and get a good picture.

This is just a little one of the latest baby.

http://yfrog.com/gzue0jetj

Hicky
Hi Hicky, thanks for the wee piccie of the baby.
I like his style in the woolly hat.
Did you get to see him today?

I've been looking it up, and I think glucosamine is supposed to be good for the joints, and the omega-3 fishoil is for the brain and heart.
I've already got a supply of glucosamine, because my Dad used to take it, and I kept 2 large containers of tablets that are dated to 2012. So I think I'll give that a try for a month or so, and see if it makes a difference. My left knee sometimed aches, so I'll see if that clears up.
I'll maybe try and buy some omega-3 tab

Hope you had good weather Mollie?

It stayed wet here till 5pm, when the sun came out, but that was too late for working.
TBH I took advantage of the break to watch some of the tennis. I enjoyed watching the Serena Williams match.
emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

I didn't get to see the baby today, think they are all still in the Hospital, think DIL had a hard time.

I take the Omega3 oil for the Arthritis as well.

It's not too expensive and am sure it helps.

At one time I couldn't bend my leg to get into the car, after taking the oil it was ok, that was years ago.

My leg joints used to make cracking noises, they don't do the now.

Just had a drop of rain, have rigged the street light up to the Timer/Dusk to dawn sensor.

The timer is set to be live from 6pm till 12.00, the dusk to dawn sensor will control when the light is on.

It lights the garden up great, love it.

I'm not into tennis, like watching the girls though.

Work tomorrow, hope Mollie had a good day.

Just been watching Jamie in the US, bless him.

Hicky

a quick hi from me.... had a hectic day, and have not been home long, with my hosptial visit on my mind I had forgotten to tell you that we were going to see Britains Got Talent tonight. We all enjoyed it, great entertainment. The winner and young boy were great singers, the older man dancing was brilliant, and the piano player sounded just great on his grand piano. The place was full and it is a huge place too.

Hicky..

aaawww, what a cute piccie of the new grandson. I love the stripy hat too.

Emptybox

Good idea for you to take those tablets, because of how much you use your knees for your work.

Hicky... which online site did you use when you ordered them online? I think I may take some, I get aches and pains on occasions with bending and lifting so much around the home. . It sounds like these tablets have really done you well.

Dog was sick today, and yesterday, so took her to vets, He gave her injection, and as soon as she got home , she wanted her food. So that soon helped her. She also has some medicine to take.

goodnight both. xx

did I miss anything good on tv tonight?

M

Hi Mollie.
Glad you enjoyed BGT.
Your family don't half like these theatre things?
I can't even remember clearly who won BGT this year? Was it that Scottish male singer, Jai somebody?

Glad the vet was able to give the dog something to help it.

TV? Three Men go to Venice was quite good, with Griff Rhys Jones etc, and Four Rooms was on again.
