Very pleased with what I got done the weekend.
The government did the right thing in going to the aid of the peple getting gunned down by Gaddafi and his mob.
Hope things go well with the new house your going for.
Your lung tests sound good.
I can get a lot more work done now with this new inhaler, my arms and legs might ache but I don't have to keep sitting down to get my breath back.
Glad your car passed the Mot, thats handy.
1st day of spring was the 20th Sunday according to the web anyway.
will watch Mrs Browns Boys soon.
Hicky
was it a work day today?
So glad your breathing is so much better now, so you can get on with those garden jobs. Sounds like your poor muscles are in need of a good massage though.
Just looked it up., and yes you are right, Spring started 20th this year. Didn't realise it was not 21st every year, the bit I read on the net said it was to do with astromocial factors.
Emptybox
hope you had good weather too, I am sure you must be getting busy workwise now we really are into Spring.
You had plenty of tv you liked last night.
I am looking forward to watching Carolyn Quentin in India tonight, and wil have to record Juniour Doctors because I like that too.
The removal man couldn't believe how much stuff we had to move. OH says we can move some of it beforehand ourself in the 7 seater though. We have decided it is worth the extra expense of paying for 2 houses for a couple of weeks, because, it will make it easeir for us, and if OH loses time from work, he doesnt get paid, so he can do some after work.
Had shopping delivered from Sainsbuys today. Can't complain because it is free for us, because we have to spend over ÂĢ100.
have a good evening. Looks like a good forecast for the foreseeable days ahead now.
No work today.
Went to B&Q for some wood and some bits I need.
Did some work on the decking, went to the Garden Centre, saw a couple of Dwarf bushes, Peach and Nectarine, wll get lovely flowers as well.
Also got 20 Rasberry canes, 10 ready July the others August.
Might not bear fruit till next year though.
I'll watch Carolyn in India.
Not a lot on tv Tuesday.
It's a good idea to have an overlap on the house, easier for you anyway.
If you can get your food delivered for free, why not, saves a lot of messing.
Hope Emptybox had a good day, it was really beautiful here today.
We're all posting in a clump today.
Not bad here. A mix of sunshine and cloud.
Got quite a lot done though, so another couple of jobs ticked off the list.
That's a good idea to move some stuff yourselves Mollie.
You'll probably need at least a fortnight in the new house before you move in, to do the decorating? Or is it ready to move into?
Those fruit trees sound nice Hicky.
As for the rasps, they're reasonably easy to look after. I always enjoy pruning those.
Just remember you have to look after the early fruiting ones slightly differently to the later ones.
BBC - How to grow raspberries
Watching a programme about Tutankhamun at the mo, then there's Lily Allen on later.
Glad you got some jobs done yeasterday, you will be getting busy now and can do with some good weather.
I need a couple more nice decorative pots for these dwarf fruit tree's I got yesterday. The flowers are coming out all ready.Should look nice soon.Read the link about the strawberries, don't suppose I'll get any fruit this year, the cane you get is only a foot long.Am not going to grow mych veg this year, just peas, Beetroot, not sure what else, it's too much work.I used to have Rasberries when we moved here but we changed the area and got rid.
Hope things aren't too busy today at work.
It's Aisleyne.
http://kingjason.onsugar.com/A...-king-jason-15136813
Thanks for the pics of Aisleyne at the 'Anuvahood' premiere Hicky.
That's the website of the guy who styled her for it, Jason Boateng.
She only had the Versace dress on loan for the premiere, so had to change out of it straight after.
Lovely day here. I got a large hedge cut, and I see a lot of the bulbs are now out in town.
Won't be long before the grass needs cutting.
Thought the budget wasn't too bad? A wee bit off the price of fuel anyway.
Hope you weren't too busy at work Hicky?
Hope you had a nice day Mollie?
Not much on TV tonight, as far as I can see?
Hicky
sounds like you had a nice busy day in the garden again yesterday.
I bet those fruit trees and raspberries will be lovely. Pity the veg is so much work though. How was your work day today? Not too busy I hope.
Emptybox
Glad you got the good weather too todaY.It was lovely here too, very warm and sunny.
Our grass is really long now and in need of a cut, but we will wait a bit longer, as we are busy with the move.
Yes you are right, not much on tv tonight.
Think I will catch up with some recordings. I felt a bit off last night, overitred, so went to bed early and missed Carolyn in India, so will watch that.
Glad you liked Hicky's Ais piccies.
I get Heat delivered, and she appears in 2 different articles. Neither have nice pics though.., some drunken snaps in a red dress after a film ceremony in one article, and another one in those worst dressed type articles.
Been busy today...We have put our notice in here, so hope to leave in mid April. Have ordered phone line, good job I did it early, they said it takes up to 3 weeks!
Have a good evening both xx
Had a good dat=y at work really.
Rang the Accountant about my windfall, he says it was from last years company account that was finalised, very nice.
It's supposed to be nice again tomorrow.
Plenty to do in the garden anyway.
The budget may help a bit, but when the country is paying out interest of ÂĢ121,000,000 a day they have to do something to cut the debt.
I'm only planting veg that has a longish period for picking, peas & Beetroot have, will look for another one or two later.
Ais seems to be getting a lot of good remarks about the film anyway.
It won't be long before you are in your new place then.
It can take quite some time to get phone lines and broadband sorted.
Just watching Masterchef.
Hope you are feeling better now Mollie?
All these things, phone etc, take a lot of organizing when you are moving. It'll be a lot of work if you are moving next month.
I don't envy you. It's one of the things putting me off looking for somewhere else.
But if you've found the right place, it'll be worth it in the end.
I haven't seen Heat, but I think that red outfit that Ash is wearing is one of her own designs. It's what she changed into after the blue Versace dress in the pics that Hicky posted.
I presume in the other Heat article she is wearing those funny trainer boots?
Not that i stalk her or nuffink.
Yeah Anuvahood seems to be doing really well. The critics are kinda ambivalent, but it's doing the bizzo at the box office where it counts.
I'm not surprised you aren't putting in much veg this year Hicky. There can't be much ground left for you to plant it in? You've decked it all over.
Great news, that you can keep your windfall.
Another lovely day here.
I got yet another hedge cut.
Only a couple more to cut now.
I also got a call today from someone wanting me to lay gravel chips on an area of garden. It's all work anyway.
Also this spell of nice weather has accelerated the grass, so i should think I'll be getting calls to cut it from next week.
I also planted out my tomato seedlings into individual pots. I've left them on the windowsill for now.
The greenhouse is very warm during the day, but I reckon it would still be too cold at night for them?
Not much on telly, that I can see?
Hope you both had good days, and that you are not stressing too much about the move Mollie?
I've got the same space for planting this year as I had last year.
But with a lot of veg becoming ready to eat at the same time it's not worth it as the same veg is in abundance in the shops.
It would be better to sow seeds every 2 weeks, but only if you have the room.
I've finished section 4 now, going to get the wood for section 5 frame in the morning.
Made up about the windfall, can get some more stuff for the garden, going to get a bitfeature for the garden, it's to go on one of the moonstone sections.
Have moved one of the fruit trees onto the decking, in the corner.
You can get cheap graven chips from B&Q, about ÂĢ47 a Tonne.
If it doesn't rain tonight and tomorrow I'l have to cut the grass, it sure needs it.
I haven't bought any seedlings yet, won't be long though.
Went out to the Hungry Horse for tea, saved cooking something.
Hope Mollie is OK, my O/H isn't too good, is on Anti-Bio for her throat/ear etc.
Glad you enjoyed your meal. The Hungry Horse is a good name for an eatery.
The customer has already ordered the chips from the local merchant. I think she wants pink ones to match with her Brother who lives next door to her. They'll deliver to the pavement. She justs wants me for the hard work bit.
The grass in the towns around here has started to grow, but my own grass has hardly started yet.
I hope you too have this lovely weather we have here this morning.
I can't use my garden because of the dust and digging, but don't care now we are off soon. You certainly won't see me for dust when we leave here. The sooner the better. There are now 2 JCS's right by our back wall shovelling boulders and grit, noise and dust unbelievable. Not looking forward to the actual move but when you really want to go, it has to be done. Been really busy sorting things, After many phone call, I have found if I get a special number from BT and give to our internet people , you can get both connected at once. Fingers crossed I can sort it all anyway. I had already ordered a new phone number, but now BT have to cancel that one, and do another new order.
The grass is very long here now, but OH is busy sorting out move, so will leave garden until the last.
Hicky
Pay day today for you. Makes that trudge to work worthwhile when you get those pennies in your hand, doesn't it? Good news that nice windfall was all yours too. I thought you might spend a bit of it in the garden. I love features in gardens. What type is yours? Sorry to hear your OH isn't too good, Has she had a cold recently that caused this?
Emptybox
Glad the weather is holding up, so you can do all that hedge cutting. At least a gravelling job is a bit of a change for you I guess. Sounds like you are not going to be short of work this spring. Let's hope the dry spell lasts for you to keep up to date.
The Ais red dress was lovely, but yes, you are right, the other pic was those weird boots.
OH and daughter went to see "Queen, We Rock You" last night", it was a birthday pressie for my OH from daughter. They both enjoyed it.
OH's half day, so we are going a walk somewhere with doggie today.
I am feeling very off and tired by night, wth trying to sort all the move out, whilst not being quite well. The dog escaped upstairs last night, and jumped on my bed, her paw caught my swollen neck, and I ended up sobbing in pain. Poor dog looked worred about what she had done. Luckily it doesn't seemed to of made the swelling any worse today.
have a good day both. xx
I found getting the stone out of the 1 tonne bag needed a rake and a wheelbarrow, raked it straight into the barrow.
, not easy to shovel unless the shovel is used on a hard floor.
Must cut my grass, hope the rain stays off a little longer.
You'll be ok once you've moved Mollie, you certainly don't want to get in all that dust anyway.
My O/H picked up a big bag of fresh picked shrimps from her Brother, he and his Son fish for shrimps in season, or when the cockles need a rest.
I went to B&Q for wood, have plenty to get on with now.
Went to the Garden Centre for 2 new pots for the dwarf Peach/Nectarine bush.
Got 4 more bags of blue 40mm slate.
Went to Costco to get the garden ornament O/H liked but they had all gone.
Will have to find one elsewhere now.
That was nasty what the dog did, hope it doesn't go any worse.
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
Not so nice here today. Cloudier and colder than Yesterday.
I got another hedging job done, but my hedger was giving trouble again. The fuel line had another split in it, meaning it was getting starved of fuel.
I think I've fixed it this evening. I took the fuel line from an older, non-working machine, and swapped it into the present one. Quite difficult to fit it, but hopefully i won't have any more problems.
I used the old one for over 7 years without any problems with fuel, but this new one is less than 2 years old, and the fuel line has split about 4 times. mind you the new one only cost ÂĢ80 whereas the old one was ÂĢ300+.
Yes Hicky it can be difficult using a shovel in those big bags. A rake is probably a good idea.
Those shrimps sound delicious. Must be nice having an OH with fishing connections?
Hope you are not over-doing it Mollie? You don't want to get overtired. Just work through the list of things slowly, and try not to get anxious about the workload. I'm sure it will all sort itself out whether you worry or not.
An over-excited dog was the last thing you needed?
I didn't realise the works at the back of you affected your garden so much with noise and dust.
The owner might have difficulty getting new tennants, in that case?
I think I might have enjoyed that Queen show as well .
Hi Emptybox.
Cloudy here today, but no rain, had my Saltfish for brekkie, then went to B&Q for wood, have enough to finish the job now.
Went for fule and my TV paper.
At home put the 5th frame in position with O/H as the lad that helps is working today.
Planted a row of pea's, potted my new fruit trees in new pots we got yesterday.
Decked half of section 5, a little to do tomorrow, will have to make a few ramps.
Still haven't cut the grass, was going to if the Sun had come out.
Had Lobster for tea, got a couple yesterday at Costco.
Went o get the garden feature O/H liked but they had all gone.
Will se if we can find one she likes at the Burley Dam garden Centre.
Made a Dais for the lady feature, she can now rest on that instead of lying on the blue slate.
Hope Mollie had a good day, was probably busy.
Hope her swollen deck is no worse.
wonder what's causing your Fuel line to split on your machine, it can only be made of inferior material, it should have a steel mesh internal like most fuel lines.
Evening.
Cloudy and cold here today.
You got a lot done in the garden today Hicky.
I was working in my garden as well, I got the patch dug over ready for planting my spuds.
I hope you manage to find the garden feature that you are looking for.
i also went for my weekly provisions, and i filled in my Census form ready for posting tomorrow.
The fuel line on the hedger is just a flimsy black rubber tube Hicky. It was obviously quite brittle because it kept splitting. The one I've replaced it with is just the same, just plain rubber, but it seems more flexible, so it's unlikely to split hopefully.
Remember to put your clocks forward tonight.
Good morning all
Hicky
how handy being able to get hold of such fresh shrimps.
Pity the garden features had all sold out, hope you find another one she likes.
Fortuantely my swollen neck does not seem any the worse today after the dog episode.
Is your OH feeling any better now she is taking the anti biotics?
Emptybox
how annoying about your hedge trimmer playing up when it is only a couple of years old. I am sure they don't make things to last any more like they used to. My lad was upset because his playstation broke yesterday. They always seem to break just after the guarantee finishes. And they are expesnive to replace too.
Hope you fix it job works for your hedge trimmer.
Glad you reminded me about the census form. So much to fill in on the damn thing with there being 5 of us. Will get my oldest lad to do it , I think.
Had a nice day yesterday, but was tired by evening, sorting all this paperwork for move.
Daughter went to guitar lesson, and we took dog a walk rounnd village whilst we waited. I sat in the pub garden and had latte and muffin because it was so warm.
Hope it is dry for you both today, so you can carry on with all your gardening jobs.
We are going walk on seafront today when we wait for son to do drama club.
I have decided to go to London tommorrow with daughter, and OH. She is going to a concert, we got tickets before I was ill, I am not up to going to the concert, but decided I would just go and rest in the hotel whilst her and my OH went to the concert, give me a break from all this moving stuff too. We are only staying one night, and got a deal with train, so have 1st class tickets one way.
So I won't be around till Wednesday.
So hope you have a few good days. xxx
See you Wednesday.
Hope you have a good time in London Mollie.
Will give you a nice break anyway.
Not too bad here today. Some cloud, some sun, some wind.
Quite nice having an extra hour of daylight this evening. Allowed me to set my heating to come on an hour later anyway.
Housework mostly today, some hoovering and some ironing.
Got my Census form posted when i went down for the papers.
Did you get your grass cut Hicky?
Watching the DoI final tonight.
Evening.
Quite a nice day today.
I got another big hedge cut, and my hedger was working OK, so my repair on it obviously worked.
I'm going to do the gravel chip laying job tomorrow, if the weather's good.
Hope you've had good weather Hicky?
Gadget show at 8pm, them Mrs Brown's Boys later followed by 'The Event' on CH4.
Hope Mollie is relaxing in her London hotel.
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.
Thought I had posted this morning from work but it's not on the thread.
Don't know where it went.
Have found more garden features on line, will have to decide what sioze and price now.
I got the grass cut, only took a little off but a start.
Finished the decking, just got another ramp to do.
And of course will need to give it a coat or 2 of decking oil.
I'm watching a program on Thailand, how the workers live, omg if only the holiday workers new or cared.
Will watch Mrs Browns Boys.
Going to get my meds from the Chemist in the morning, will get brekkie at Morrisons.
will try and get the rest of the ramp are finished tomorrow, the rain is expected.
Was busy at work all day.
Hope \molly enjoys her day.
Love these light nights.
Hi Hicky.
That's great that you've nearly finished your decking, apart from the finishing touches
And you got the first grass cut over with. It'll start to grow quicker now though.
Hope you find the garden feature you like at the right price online.
Enjoy your brekkie at Morrisons tomorrow.
Hope it doesn't rain.
Evening.
Another nice day here.
I got the gravel chips laid. It took about 3 hours, there was more digging out to be done than I thought, and I had to put in some edging stones as well. It was only a small area though, so half a tonne of chips was enough.
I've got another small job to do trimming bushes etc, then I'll probably start going round cutting grass from Friday (1st April).
Hope you enjoyed your brekkie Hicky.
I'm looking forward to seeing Chanelle on Celebrity Juice, probably this Thursday.
Watched a programme on Tutankhamun, then i watched CSI for a change cos Dita Von Teese was guest starring.
Think I'll watch Lily Allen now.
Hi Emptybox.
Rain stopped play last night at 6pm, would have finished the second ramp.
Was thinking in bed, will put a ramp at the other end of the decking as well.
I also need another shed or something to put some of the garden tools/bags of compost etc in, O/H doesn't want to see them and the garage and 2 steels sheds are full.
Have seen some lovely garden features in bronze style, they are Resin of course, will have to save up, O/H wants them to be at least 90cm tall so they stand out.
I hope you put a layer of weed control maqtting down before you laid the gravel? or the weeds will be through in no time.
My whole garden are is covered with matting except for the lawn, it's great.
It will make a change to see Chanelle on TV again, maybe she will get more TV work now.
I see Stacey not only won IACGMOOH but she is now the face of Iceland instead of Kerry and won the Mother of the Year award.
Mollie should be back on here soon, hope you had a good time Mollie.
Hope it's not too busy at work, but think I will have to do the end of 1st qtr vat changeover to 2nd qtr.
Hi Hicky.
Raining heavily here today.
Yes I put matting down before I laid the chips. The householder hadn't ordered quite enough, so there was a small area that wasn't covered by the matting, but there's still a large shrub planted there, so that should suppress the weeds under it.
Hope you aren't too busy at work with your VAT returns?
If you're getting another shed make sure it's one your OH wants to see.
Yes Stacey is doing really well.
She's going to be hosting a singing reality show with Vernon Kay on ITV soon.
Sing if You Can
Hope Mollie has had a good time in London.
Hi Emptybox.
Have been busy today, not to worry.
Haven't done the vat, I have all the sheets ready but the file hasn't been changed over to the 2nd qtr yet.
Have been doinf invoices payments etc all day so din't have time.
Will have to do it next week now.
Not sure about the shed, but you can get a good sized one from B&Q for ÂĢ134 I'm sure.
Will see what she says, she just wants to hide all my garden stuff.
Most of it is in the other sheds anyway.
Good evening all
I am back, and how lovely and spring like it is in the forum now. I like the orange flowers.
Hicky
sounds like you had a busy work day today.
Hope the weather is good for you to get in your garden tommorrow.
Don't forget to get some piccies of "work in progress" for us to see,
OH is pleased with his plastic shed from B and Q, so hopefully you should find some sort of shed you like in there. OH took the new shed over to our new house today, the house isn't officially ours yet, but I have paid the months rent and deposit in advance, and the owner said he could assemble the shed now to save time when we move in,. .
Emptybox
So April Fools day is the first grass cutting of the season for you. I hope the lawn mower behaves this year. Is your hedge cutter still working ok now?
Thanks for the Stacey link, it will be good to see her in that programme. Not keen on Vernon though, think he is a bit arrogant.
I did really enjoy part of the London visit, but was exhausted all day today. Don't think I was really up to going there yet, because I had a headache all day yesterday, after my long day travelling there, and then I had to travel back again. When we got there, we had a little walk in Hyde Park, sat and eat our sandwiches, and saw some nice birds including a heron. We saw the Princess Diana memorial fountain. It was lovely, really big area it covered. The water looked so clean and fresh, and the sign said anyone was welcome to paddle in it. There was a man helping his little baby , dressed in only a nappy paddle, in the fountain. So sweet, the baby was loving it, It was such a warm sunny day. I thought looking at it, that Diana would of approved of this fountain for children like that to enjoy. We then went to our hotel by taxi then, because I was tired. By the time we got to hotel I felt dizzy with exhaustion, so rested and napped the rest of the time. Luckily it was a very nice hotel, spacious and clean. But whilst I was in London, I didn't escape the moving problems, I had to try and sort an order out with BT on the mobile that they messed up. They are now saying I need an engineer to call out, and a charge of ÂĢ130 to get a line. I told them there is already a working line there, and I have used it, but it turns out BT need to flick a switch or something, so that is classed as an "engineers" visit so costs ÂĢ130. They did this too when my mum moved. What a rip off.
And to top it all we have a 3 to 5 week wait to get a phoneline, so no internet or Sky till then. I have spent hours on the phone to and fro from internet to phone people.
I have certainly been glad to sit and relax and watch tv tonight. ïŧŋ
hope you have both had a good evening.
Hi Mollie.
Do you like the new design of this forum? Can't say i like it at all. Much preferred it before.
Still, don't suppose it matters.
Glad you enjoyed London in part, just a pity you're still not really up to par.
I've seen pictures of the Diana fountain. Not sure what to think of it. I thought they'd stopped people paddling in it because of health and safety, in case they slipped?
But glad you got the lovely weather.
Friday might be wet here, so the lawns might have to wait till next week? I've got a new mower, so if it doesn't behave itself I can get it repaired under the guarantee.
The hedger seems to be working fine after I fixed it though.
That's a pity that BT have messed up your order for a phoneline, but it's just par for the course nowadays unfortunately.
And it's ridiculous that they can charge you ÂĢ130 when there is already a working line there.
I would have thought a ÂĢ50 charge might be fair, but as you say, that's just a rip-off.
But i hope you find some way of getting on the internet in the meantime, even if you have to buy a pre-pay mobile broadband dongle for your laptop. They're not very expensive, and we couldn't do without you for 5 weeks. What would me and Hicky find to talk about?
Hi Hicky.
Pity you had a busy day at work.
Good Evening Mollie & Emptybox.
Glad you had a good time Mollie,
It's ridiculous that you have to pay all that just to sort your phone line.
I'm not too bothered about the orange flowers, I don't pay for them so can't complain.
Very windy here today, no rain though.
Went to the Chemist for my inhaler, so called into Morrisons, O/H was in there with her Mother, she takes her shopping there on a Thursday morning.
Boss rang, he wants me in tomorrow, more money for the garden.
Just watching 'First Life, by D.A then Great British food,
Celeb Juice at 10pm, not sure what to watch at 9.
Good evening all
Emptybox
Glad to hear your hedger fixing work seems to of done the trick.
Well hopefully now you have the new mower, you should be able to whisk around those lawns with no problem this year.
Yes you are right, they did originally have to stop people paddling in the Diana fountain, but they have done some adjustments, and it is clean and non slippy now, and the sign outside invites anyone to paddle in it.
Thanks for the dongle idea and link. Good idea, I had forgotten I had one of those that my OH bought for me when I was in hosptial, so I can use that.
.
OH's friend had the idea we go through OH's broadband provider, for the phone. OH wants to stay with the same provider for internet. So I contacted them, and although we still have to pay this BT fee (this provideer , like most of them have to use BT lines), they reduced it from ÂĢ130 to ÂĢ118, and their line rental is over ÂĢ2 a month cheaper than BT, plus we don't have to sign up for a year. They have given me a connection date of 3 weeks time, which is better than the 5 weeks, so I am going to try and change moving date to later date.
I hope Hicky has had a good day, and has managed to get into his garden today.
It was abit dull and slightly drizzly here today, but at least it was dry when I took the dog out.
have a good evening. xx
I am going to watch the new series of "3 in a Bed" now.
I like that , do either of you watch it?
Hi Hicky
we posted together.
Good idea to treat yourself to brekkie after your visit to the chemist, and to meet your OH and her mum there too.
Good news that the boss is going to contribute to your garden fund, shame you have to work for it though.
I am watching Muroe on itv at 9pm, I recommend it, very interesting.
And from my recent hospital experiences, it is very accurate.
Hi Mollie.
Trust us to post together again.
It seems strange coming to the end of the decking, just got a small section about 3000 x 900 to do now, got some of the wood but need more.
Another week should sort it.
Will get the rest of the wood needed Saturday
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
Horrible day here. Blowing a gale and rainy too.
Went into town to get a battery for my watch, but didn't do much else.
Glad you enjoyed your brekkie Hicky.
Pity you have to work tomorrow, but if it means more stuff for the garden.....
That's handy, if you already have a dongle Mollie.
Good work, finding a cheaper deal for your phone and broadband.
Hope everything else goes OK with the move.
Watched Young Doctors on BBC3 then Celebrity Juice at 10pm on ITV2.
Watching Benidorm now.
Hi Emptybox.
Pity about the short showing of Chanelle on Juice, Keith Lemon is a nutter isn't he, pushing the boundries.
I ran out of the Ronseal End Grain sealer so will have to get another Saturday, you need to repaint after each cut, remembering is hard enough, have used 2 tins already.
Hope I'm not too busy today, not like Wednesday anyway.
Exciting news about BB coming back.
Will get the link and post it here.
This one will do for now.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/medi...annel-5-to-sign-deal
HI Mollie and Hicky.
Nasty windy and wet here, so no grass cutting today.
Yes Hicky, it was silly just to have Chanelle on for a couple of minutes. Oh well, she looked great anyway.
I think that programme gets more OTT every series?
I think BB probably will come back on CH5. Not sure what kind of success they'll make of it? I'll definitely watch it though.
I see Sunshine has got her qualifications, so she's now officially a 'Young Doctor' like the ones in the BBC3 series.
Evening Emptybox.
Chanelle is looking good in that screenshot.
Can't wait for BB to come back on.
Don't know what we are going to watch all summer now?
Got a lot done at work, sorted the 1st qtr vat and changed the docs over to the 2nd qtr now.
So glad for Sunshine, lovely girl, she will make a great Doctor.
Will watch Benidorm tonight, in a few minutes, getting behind.
Went for a Carvery for tea, fantastic, saves making something.
Will go to B&Q in the morning for the rest of the wood to finish the decking.
I see you were rained off, that's not good, be glad when this wind dies down.
Hope the weather hasn't kept Mollie in the house.
Evening.
Was wet overnight, and this morning was a bit wild, but it turned into a nice afternoon.
I've just come back from getting my weekly shop.
Glad you enjoyed your carvery meal Hicky.
Hope you managed to get the stuff from B&Q?
Looking forward to watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire tonight.
I expect you'll be very busy over the next few weeks Mollie, and will only be able to pop in now and again, but I hope everything is going as smooth as it can do?
Aisleyne's off to Dublin tomorrow to compete in the Irish version of 'Celebrity Salon'. It's filmed over the next fortnight, but won't be on telly till June. It'll not be on TV here, but I'm hoping I can watch it on the internet.
There's Ash, Calum Best, Abby Titmuss, Rosanna somebody (the Irish Miss World who's Chris de Burgh's daughter), and another couple.
They live in a house together and learn about beauty treatments etc.
(not sure how Calum fit's in there? But I suppose if there's pretty girls about, he'll find a way in somehow? )
Evening Emptybox.
Rained a bit overnight here, O/H said we had thunder and lightning, didn't hear it myself.
It's been dry all day.
Went to Costco for a look round, they had new stock of the garden Buddha in, got one of course, also some forged garden seats to go with the forged tables we have.
Went to B&Q for the rest of the wood, Have made up 1 deck frame 0.9m x 2.4m have another small one to make now, it's only 0.9m x 1.2m so it won't take long.
More interesting news about BB.
Sounds about right as well, the public having more say like the do on IAC.

Think the weather is ok tomorrow so may finish the decking, putting the decking oil down will be the next job.
Planted some Beetroot
Hope Mollie had a good day.
That sounds an interesting show for Aisleyne to get involved in, can't think where Calum Best fits in, maybe he just tucks them into bed,
Good evening both
yes, I have been very busy, sorting out move things.
I am shattered, so if I don't post much now, I haven't deserted you, am just bogged down with things . The family are doing the heavy stuff, and I am sorting mainly paperwork, and the clothes. Paper work is a nightmare, especailly the phone, broadband and sky stuff that are all dependant on each other, and it is the end of the tax year, so lots of business stuff too. I have spent hours on the phone the last few days sorting stuff out. BT are the worst, passed to India and back again, and kept on hold endlessly, and told different things by different people. I am changing energy to British Gas for energy. Our new landlady already has them, and if I change, I will get 10,000 nectar points.
Luckily OH and kids have moved a fair bit already, because we have not had rain here, only a bit of drizzle.
Hicky
thanks for the BB news, I will definately be watchign that.
Glad you got your Badda figure. We too have a Budda water feature, they are lovely. We have never used it yet though, because we hate this garden with all the dust, hopefully we will put it in our next garden though. What is "forged" tables and seats? Glad to hear your gardening work is coming on well now. I bet you spent those extra wages as soon as you got them. Looking forward to seeing pics soon.
At Callum tucking them up in bed.
Emptybox
hope you don't get too behind with your gardens if you are having bad weather. I guess all that rain will bring on the grass more than ever. Ours is really overgrown now. but OH too busy at the moment to cut it.
Well done to Sunshine becoming a Juniour Doctor. it must of been very hard work to achieve that, and she is going into a very worthwhile career.
Did you buy any nice treats for your weekly shop?
Sphag bol tonight, is it?
We are off to Ikea tommorow morning to get the kids some book cases, we will drop them off at new house. We bought some nice pine storage furniture off the new landlady because she was downsizing , her own family all left home. But we need more and more storage as the kids add to their books and games.
We will have a nice brekkie there first. I still can't eat big meals, but can manage a small cooked brekkie now. I love the food in Ikea. Very reasonable price too.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, will pop in again when I get time.
Early bed for me, still get tired easy.
