oh dear...... shame you wasted your time doing a cover, but I expect it wont be long before the rain cover is needed.

Wow that is really cool Big Grin
I'm not far from Plymouth and we get quite a lot of really good artists down here Nod

that's a shame , just checked and BGT doesnt come to Plymouth, I think the nearest place to you would be Wembly.

Glad to hear you do get your share of good things in Plymouth though. Smiler

Ain't that always the way of it, Hicky? Big Grin

Hi guys, and hi to lil_lady. Wave

A beautiful day here as well. Smiler
I was just relaxing.

I watched BGT for a change just to see what you were all talking about. Big Grin

I still think Susan Boyle is over-hyped.
She had a very shaky start, but recovered and made a pretty good job of the song, but I didn't think it was anything spectacular?

I think I'd have voted for the violin girl myself, but perhaps she was too much of a Vanessa Mae clone?

The belly dancer was stunning, but her belly didn't seem to do much dancing? Big Grin

The wee lassie was unbelievably cute, but Simon was probably right. She chose the wrong song for the night.

That sounds about right but what I'm hoping is that someone has the insight to get all these brilliant dance groups and dancers like George together in a spectacular show and travel all the way round the UK. Well I can dream Laugh

Yes I thought Susan had a shaky start too, but I think people like her eccentric personality , as well as her voice.

I liked the violin girl too.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Goodnight xx wavey

I liked the Violin girl, but their must be thousands that can play the Violin, Chanelle can as well.Big Grin

Well Firstly you try and help those which you come in contact with that you think could benefit from some financial help, you can't help those you don't know about.
It seems that a lot get help because they are doing what they do for very little reward.

About your Webcam, I don't use Lappy's myself these days, just desktop Puters as they are more reliable.
I think you will have a software program that you can call up/open that will control the settings for the webcam whether it is built in or an add on.

You should be able to go into it and select snap shot.

Otherwise you may be able to have the webcam picture on your own screen in test mode and press the button 'Print Screen' and open 'Paint' and past the screen into paint then draw a box around your picture and cut it, then open new for the file menu and past again, then save as a jpg file and use as any other picture.

Don't know if this info will be of any use, hope it may help.
Hicky
I suppose it is logical and in the community spirit of things to use the money for your own area. But I would guess you would have to research to make sure they do really need your money. The undercover stuff they do on that programme seems to work really well.

Right okay I went into the software programme and it said there was no camera attached. Just thought there should have been an enable button or something. No worries I will have to read through the manual Big Grin I was just curious as peeps can see I have a webcam when I go on MSN and ask me to turn it on, not that I want to but curiosity is killing the cat here Laugh

I would imagine there is a switch of sorts to enable the webcam the same as there is a switch to enable the wireless network card.
But not using Lappy's these days I don't know for sure.
If people on MSN think you have a camera then their software must be looking at the drivers you have installed for it or the hardware associated with it, because it doesn't really exist until it is powered up/enabled.

Good Morning Peeps Valentine

Well someones nicked the sun from Cornwall and the weather forecasts rain from wednesday onwards so I will have to make the most of a dryish day today and tomorrow Roll Eyes

Hope you are all going to enjoy your bank holiday monday off Hug

See you later Big Grin

Oh yes Hicky I did look for a switch like I have for my wireless connection but didn't see one. So I'll hunt for the manual it's bound to be in that(the instructions for turning it on that is not the switch Roll EyesLaugh). Need to go on the hunt for something else anyway so will kill 2 birds with 1 stone Laugh Thanks for the help though it was much appreciated Valentine

Hi Suzie.Wave

Just spoke to my O/H about the Webcam, she is on Skype at the Mo talking to one of my Lads in Oz, he said the webcam is automatic, if the program, such as MSN asks you to turn in on, it's the symbol at the side of the text which is a symbol of a camera that you click and the webcam will become active automatically.

And you do the same when it says turn the webcam off, just click the camera symbol at the side of the text.

Hope this helps.

This may sound a daft question, but why would you need to go shopping on a Bank Holiday Monday?

The only question that is daft is the one not asked Big Grin

I've run out of a couple of essentials i.e milk, bread, potatoes and ciggies so need to go out and get some. I was going to do it friday but the traffic was terrible.

Hiya Darloboy Hug

I'm in the same mind as you, diversity were brilliant but I feel Susan has been too hyped, do we really need another Paul Potts? We are supposed to be going for variety after all Big Grin

That sounds like a brilliant night out Big Grin Enjoy your chilling out Hug
