Hi Hicky. Sounds like they worked you hard today.
Hope you enjoy your Morrison's brekkie tomorrow.

Not sure if the headaches are related to my eyes? I've worn glasses since I was 5, but don't think that's related? I think that it's just that bright lights make a headache worse.
For instance, usually I can spend hours at the computer screen without getting a headache, but if I have a slight headache already, then looking at the screen makes it worse.

Hope your son enjoyed his break? It's very enterprising of him, organizing and paying for his Masters degree himself.

I caught some of that Young Doctors programme Mollie. It was very good.
emptybox
Good Afternoon Mollie & Emptybox.

Had my brekkie in Morrisons, yummy.

Been in the garden as the weather is ok, Sun out now, no wind, chilly though.

Moved a couple of fruit trees, not sure where to put them really.

Maybe your eyes are getting strained Emptybox, are you sure your glasses are correct for the distance your using them, have you had your eyes tested lately?

Hope Mollie can get out for a little walk if weather is ok there.
Hicky
Hi Hicky and Mollie.

Glad you enjoyed your brekkie Hicky.
Sounds like you've had better weather than me.

Nasty misty and damp day today. I didn't get out, but I planted my tomato seeds in the propagator, and it's now on the windowsill.

I tend to use the computer without my glasses, because I've got bi-focals, and the screen is too far away for the reading part, but too close for the distance part. I'm due to get my eyes tested again in a couple of months.
Perhaps I'll go with vari-focal lenses, if I need new specs? At least there might be one bit on them that gives me the right focus for the computer screen?

Not sure there's much on TV tonight? Human Planet on BBC1, but I'm not sure what else?
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

It was nice here today, I went to B&Q and got some more cheap Low Energy lamps of different sizes and half BC the rest ES.

I use vari-focals, they automatically adjust to any distance, but tell them your normal distance to read or look at a monitor.
It takes a bit of time to get used to them, but they are by far the best.
I tried Bi-Focals, hopeless.

Going to put some fish lines under the deck area so I can pull in wiring later for the lights.

Will get the decking joists for the next section tomorrow, also some 90x90 section for the newal posts, O/H wants low ones with a rope between them, but spaced at 1.2m apart.

I'll see what tomorrow brings weatherwise.

Hope Mollie had a good day.
Hicky
Good evening all

Emptybox
shame you didn't get the good weather up there, maybe tommorrow you will? Glad you had got rid of the bad head by yesterday. I too get that rhinitus, so I know how annoying it is. The consultant last week told me that was what it was called. It gives me headaches sometimes, and I have often got a popping ear. I have just bought one of these neti pots to see if they help...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neilme...cm_cr_pr_product_top

Yes I think looking at a pc screen is likely to make a headache worse, I can't use mine either if I have a headache. Have you thought of trying some cheap reading glasses from the supermarket or Pound shop for your pc? I use some cheapo ones for lappy reading, and my friend does too.
Sounds like your busy work time is just arriving now. I guess it is best to have plenty of work though, rather than not enough.
How the Open University works is that they pay for your course if you don't already have a degree, and pay you a study allowance to help towards expenses, if you don't have a big income, so it is very good.
I thought you would find Young Doctors interesting. The pretty young blond does not look like a doctor does she? She was very sweet with the patients. I too found the Juniours at the hospital in very nice, even though they were rushed off their feet. The ony probem was most of then were rubbish at getting blood samples, and usually after several attempts ended up asking an older nurse to do it. Not much fun for the patient, as it is uncomfortable after several unsuccessful attempts. My worst one was when they lost the first sample, then  the juniour after 9 attempts in my varous veins, gave up and asked a nurse to do it.

Hicky
glad you got to Morrisons for brekkie. They do have nice cafes in Morrisons, and good value too.
That sounded like a nice little holiday for your lad.
He will be busy studying for his Masters degree, but good on him, for making the effort to do it.
Hope it is dry for you tommorrow so you can carry on with all your planned garden jobs.

I am watching Love My Neighbour, not sure if I like it much though. Seems a bit of a weird idea to have a popularity contest like this.

Nice day here again, but bit chilly, which I dont mind as long as it is dry. Took doggie a walk and I noticed the sheds had been knocked down to ÂĢ100 each, from the ÂĢ138 they were yesterday. One is 6ft by 4ft and one 6ft by 3ft. OH also had a 15% off voucher but wasnt sure if he could use that too. So he scooted down straight after work, they said they coudlnt accept the 15% voucher, but would knock the shed down to ÂĢ90, and he could have the bigger one for that price, So that was good value. It was ex display, so just a bit worn, but OH didnt mind that for the price.
It is a bit like this one...

Hope you have had a good day. xx

Hi Mollie.

Sounds like you found a bargain on your dog walk?

That's interesting that you have rhinitis too. I haven't been diagnosed with anything, it's just my idea that i have it, cos I've got a permanently stuffy nose.
Haven't heard of those Netipot things. Doesn't sound like it's all that pleasant, from reading the reviews, so I'll let you be the guinea pig for them.

Yes, I think my busy time must be approaching, because I'm getting a couple of calls a day from people wanting me to come and do various things.
I can't quite decide if that's good or bad.

The young doctors all looked so young.  It must have been frustrating having them mess up taking your blood samples, when you were in hospital, but I guess they've got to practice on someone?
Is the pretty blonde one, the one from Northern Ireland? She seemed nice. I only caught the last half of that episode, because I just saw that it was on.

Afternoon.

Cloudy but dry day here.
Just got back from doing a big tidying up job for a customer. Not used to working that hard. But I guess I'll have to get used to it again, as the busy period approaches.

I read in the local paper they are trying out a new one-way scheme in Kelso for the next 6 months. Then after 6 months it'll go back to 2 way while they make a decision on wether it was a success. Daft!
They should either introduce it or leave well alone. It's obviously going to cost something for all the signs. Not sure if they'll change the road markings just for 6 months? But I bet it catches a lot of people out. It was only a little bit in the paper, and I'd never heard about it before then, and it starts on Monday.
Never mind. It'll be something new.
It's probably a good idea, as the streets are quite narrow. As long as it's obvious to visitors.

Not sure what's on TV tonight? Phil Down Under of course , but not sure what else?

Hope you've had good days?
emptybox
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Been a lovely day here, was into B&Q early to laod the car with wood for the next deck section, also the timber for the deck post O/H wants 90x90, I could buy a 3m piece a lot cheaper than buying cut pieces.
Got the fixing bolts for the post, 10x150 @ ÂĢ1 each, needed 2 per post.

Cut the wood, treated the cut ends and fitted 8 of them
Got the sections ready for screwing together tomorrow for section 4 frame.

They look good sheds Mollie, ideal for garden tools, my 2 sheds are full, and my garage as well, and my plastic mini greenhouse.
Whatever room you have seems to get filled.

Hi Emptybox, all this work will be a shock to your system, take it easy.

Strange what they want to do with the one way system, why would you change it back while you think about it?, crazy.

I'm going up to one of my lads tomorrow afternoon, another of his Daughters has a Birthday, think she's 7 or 8.

Hope the weathers ok tomorrow.

Have a nice day everyone.
Hicky
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Had a great day, Sun came out, got loads done, moved 2 fruit tree to a new position.

Made the next deck frame, No. 4, ready to put in position now.

I'm going to make the new deck posts act as a bench for either sitting or resting your drinks on.
The posts are 90x90 and 500 above the deck, will see what good smooth wood is available next week.

Went to my Lads for the little ones Birthday, all went well, she was 8.

It should be a nice day tomorrow, temp 8deg, Sunny intervals, thats ok.

Had my Saltfish this morning, lovely.
Just had a sausage dinner, from Sainsburys, ad a pack of prawns in shells, tasty type, and a pot of Mimento stuffed olives and Manchego in a parsley aand chilli dressing, yummy.
Hicky
Good evening all

Hi Hicky
glad to hear you had such a great day.
Aaaww 8 years old, what a nice age.
Sounds like you had a good variety of tasty food today. I think you needed it too with all the hard work you are putting in, in the garden. Do you have to wait till pay day to get some more? Do you get paid weekly?  My OH does.

Emptybox
Watch you don't take on too much work too quickly now you are getting busy, you don't want to strain your back. Yes your stuffy nose does sound like it could be rhinitus.
I'lll let you know how I get on with this netti kettle thing, and if it helps my nose. Tried it this morning and couldnt get it to flow. just tried it again, and it worked. It felt really weird though.
Yes those young docs do look really young ,and they did on the wards too.But once,  I asked one lad who was looking after me, and looked about 18, if he was a student, and he said no, he was a fully qualified doc, and training to be a surgeon. Oooppsss. He eneded up helping out during my op, and gave me lots of useful advice.  i can't remember if the young blond on the programme came from Ireland.
Watch out on that new road system. Could this cost in fines if people go the wrong way? Or would it  just end up being really dangerous?

Glad you got the nice weather today Hicky. We did too. Hope Emptybox saw the sun today too.
The wind here was very cold, but I don't mind that as long as it is dry.

Tried going to town with the family yesterday. Ended up exhausted and in tears in a cafe. My friend told me that she too was like this for months after a big op, so not to worry, and not to push myself all the time. I know I get impatient with myself, because I usually have loads of energy, and rarely used to get upset. It is hard to get the balance right of making myself physiucally fit again, and not overdoing it.

Hope you both have a good evening. xx
M
Emtybox
forgot to ask you if you watch "Island Parish" on bbc2 on Saturdays?
I enjoy it. It is set in the Hebrides. It is based on the life of the island priest, but is not really a relgious show, it is an interesting insight into life in general, of the people who live on such a small island. For example, their local hosptial only has 5 beds.
M
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

It was dry here, but no sign of sun I'm afraid. Cloudy as usual.
I pruned a big rose in my own garden, and checked oil, tyres etc on my vehicles, then did my weekly shop.

Aw, what a shame Mollie, that you still can't enjoy a day out with the family. But you have to give it time.
I've watched that 'Island Parish' a few times. It used to be about the Scilly Isles, but is now about the Outer Hebrides, as you say. I always enjoy it if i catch it, but TBH I keep forgetting it's on.
Good luck with that Netipot thing. Rather you than me, I think. I wouldn't like water going up my nose.

Glad you enjoyed your Granddaughter's Birthday party Hicky.
And glad you were able to get a lot done in the good weather.

I may have got it wrong about the one way system? It says in the paper that it is ending after 6 months, but it might mean that they will come to a decision before then as to whether to carry it on? Hope so, as that would be more sensible.

There was another programme about Ancient Britain on tonight. On Channel 4 this time, with Bethany Hughes. (I like her almost as much as like Alice Roberts )
Wonder why they are having all these similar programmes on at the same time? It's a bit bizarre?
But I lap that sort of stuff up, so I'm not complaining.
I then watched the Liam Neeson film that followed it 'Taken'. Really good.
emptybox
Good evening all

Emptybox
Hope you got some sun today, and had a bit of a break from work ,with your busy time just around the corner.
Did you have your sphag bol last night?
Yes, there are rather a lot of Ancient Britain type shows on at the moment, I too like them, but keep forgetting to watch them.   Tonight I am looking forward to watching Wonders of the Universe on bbc2 at 9pm, with that young professor guy, who is usually very interesting.

I bet you are both watching DOI now. I am. The skaters left at doing really well now.

Hicky
I guess you have been busy in the garden most of the day today? I saw on the football that OH was watching, that it was nice and sunny in your area today.

It was sunny here this afternoon. We had a nice walk on the seafront with the dog, and capaccino and lemon cup cake on the sea front cafe.   The wind was very cool, but I felt warm enough in my multi layers, hat and gloves.

hope you both had a good day. xx

dont forget , it is pancake day on Tuesday.
M
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Yes Mollie, I get paid every week, just as well.

It's been lovely today, rather cold in the shade, that's what I was in, but well wrapped up.

Got a lot done, have sorted out what wood to use for the low rail on the decking, it's a handrail from a rather post set of decking, it's 115 wide and 27 thick, with the underside fluted, it should be good, when I buy it.

Mollie.
You are pushing yourself too hard too soon, you don't realise how long it takes to build yourself back up.
But it won't be long, you should be a lot stronger for the summer and be able to enjoy the lovely weather, when it gets here.

Just watching DOI at the Mo.

Had a few visitors this afternoon, one of my lads came round with his 2 girls for a snack, had another of my lads round with his as well.

Moved another fruit tree, only a few feet, have finished the wood sections around them, O/H prefers the wood box sections to be fitted with each layer of the four opposed the the lower one, this makes a diamond shape, with the joins of each section leaving an open triangle, 4 per level, total 16, I have made a triangle section of the same decking wood to sit nover the open triangle.
I'll have to take a picture so you can see what I mean.
Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

It's been quite sunny here today, but cold.
Haven't done much, but I went and tried out the new one way system in Kelso.
It'll be OK as long as I'm not thinking about something else one day, and forget.

Glad you enjoyed your time out today Mollie. Better than yesterday anyway.

Seems you got a lot done again Hicky, despite your visitors.
Those fruit trees must be getting dizzy, with all the moving about that they do?
I'll look forward to seeing the photos of these travelling trees.

I haven't really been watching DOI for the last few weeks. Not sure who's left in now?
There's just too much on at 9pm tonight. Country House Rescue, DOI, that Brian Cox Universe thing and Being Human on BBC3.
I really need to get myself a PVR.
I think I'll watch Being Human, and maybe try to watch some of the others on catch up services later?

I had spag bol yesterday Mollie, and tonight I'm just going to make myself an omelette.
I'll remember it's Pancake Day on Tuesday if you like? But I'm not sure what you expect me to do about it?
emptybox
Evening Emptybox.

I remember seeing a road direction change on my way to work a few years ago, noone even noticed at all, everyone drove down it as usual, they didn't see the no entry signs or anything.

That's why I put all my vines and trees in large pots, I don't have any planted in the ground, I like to have control of them.
Must go and sort some food out.
Hicky
Good Morning Mollie & Emptybox.

A little chilly here early on, frost on the car windows.

It's turned out nice apart from being at work.

Not too busy so get a bit of time to myself.

Got a text off the Docs to reming me about my apointment tomorrow, that was nice.
I don't get many texts as noone knows my number.

Hope you can get out for a little walk Mollie and hope Empybox gets a few more jobs done at work.
Not long till spring now.
Hicky
Evening.

A nice sunny day here, I got quite a bit of work done.
It was rather chilly though.

You say Spring is on it's way Hicky, but I hear I'm going to get a bit more snow first, by the end of the week.
Hope your appointment goes OK tomorrow.
Just about the only texts I get come from the Dentist. They have a similar system for reminding you of your appointments.

The Gadget Show tonight on Channel 5. Always watch that.
emptybox
Evening Emptybox.

I suppose we will get a bit of bad weather before spring.
Think I'll go for my brekki after the Docs, a bit late but it saves me making it.
I was shocked to get the text, but it's a good idea, your memory gets worse as you get older.
There's a few good programs on tonight, not sure what I'll watch.
Need to get a few recordings looked at as well.
Just watching the Secret Millionaire returns, theuy are so good.

Hope Mollie had a good day.

Glad you got a lot done at work, as long as your well wrapped up.
Hicky
Good morning both

Emptybox
glad you got a bit of this sun too.
I saw that Brain Cox programme too. Very interesting, he gets to visit a lot of unusual places. That place with all the glaciers looked great to visit.
Are you taking advantage of the dry spell and managing to get those gardens done?

Hicky
hope the docs visit goes well, and that you enjoyed your brekkie.
Looking forward to seeing the pics of the fruit trees.

I managed to walk as far as the post office yesterday. Had to post son's OU forms to apply for finance. It is much nicer walking out when the sun is shining.

time for my brekkie of porridge with a bit of syrup added now.
Daughter making pancakes for tea tonight.

Go on Emptybox... have a go and treat yourself to some tonight.
Are you having any panckaes today Hicky?

Nice and sunny here again, hope it is for you two as well.
M
Evening Mollie.

Went to the Docs, saw the nurse, she is getting me the other inhaler, it lasts for 24hrs, couldn't get the prescription then as there was no Doc to sign it.

Had brekkie before I went with it being at 12.30 but had a good afternoon and it was pretty good weatherwise.
Have got the first section of decking done, boards down, and the step up to the French windows.

Was making sausage and mash for tea till O/H said it's pancake Tuesday, have got those plastic pancake bottles, just add water and shake. It worked well, made 6 pancakes, 3 syrup, 2 honey 1 lemon juice.

Will have the dinner tomorrow.
Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Not a nice day here. Very windy, cold and drizzly.
Got my accounts done, and delivered a couple of invoices and paid the garage bill for my van's alternator.

Hope the new inhaler suits you better Hicky.

Good for you, walking that far yesterday Mollie. Just take it in small stages.

Hope you both enjoyed your pancakes today.
I didn't bother, but i had a pizza for supper tonight. It's the same sort of thing, innit?

I looked it up to see what Pancake day was all about.
It's Shrove Tuesday, the day before people started to fast for Lent. I suppose the idea is that you stuff yourself beforehand.
It's also the basis of Mardi Gras festivities in Latin countries. Mardi Gras means fat Tuesday.
Not being religious I was only vaguely aware of the meaning.

Just watched Benidorm.
emptybox
Evening Emptybox.

Sounds like you had a constructive day then, at least it wasn't wasted.

The pancakes turned out very good, such a simple method, didn't even use a bowl to mix it.

Work tomorrow anyway, hope it's not too busy.

Just jotting down what to get towards the decking this week, so many things I need all the time.

Have recorded Benidorm, watched the India program, watching shameless, but think I'll go to bed.

Made some jelly earlier, add 80% milk, will get a bit before bed.
Hicky
Morning/Afternoon.

Windyish here today, Sun seems to be out though.

At work, not too busy, so can potter about on the web.

Hope you are OK Mollie and can get out for a stroll if it's nice by you that is.

Watch some of that 'Mrs Browns Boys', so funny, defo worth watching, never seen it before, not sure why, but I'll watch it again.

Hope it's a nice day for you to get some more work done Emptybox, it's getting to a busy period now isn't it, Spring starts Mar 20th, Summer June 21st, Autumn Sep 23rd and Winter Dec 22nd.
Hicky
Evening.

A mixed day here. A little bit of sun, a little bit of rain, and a lot of wind.
I hear further north has had snow, but I can't see me getting any. Might be wrong.

I like that 'Mrs Brown's Boys' as well Hicky. You don't think you really should be laughing, but you can't help it.

I just think of the seasons in terms of 3 month blocks. December, January and February is Winter. March, April and May is Spring. June, July and August is Summer. September, October and November is Autumn.
Much simpler, and easy to remember.

Not much on telly tonight? Waterloo Road at 8pm, but I'm not sure what else?

Hope you had a good day Mollie?
emptybox
Good evening both

Hicky
That's good that you got time to potter about on the net at work today.
Glad you enjoyed your pancakes last night.
I certainly enjoyed mine... daughter made them, and I had 4 of them..
What is Mrs Browns boys?  I havent seen that.

Emptybox
glad you got a bit of sun amongst the wind and rain.
It was very windy here too today.
  at you having pizza pancakes.

I did manage a good walk with the dog today. I was well wrapped up in my new ski jacket and scarf, so didn't notice the cold wind.

Have you tried watching The Model Agency on channel 4 at 10pm?  I have been watching it,and finding it quite good.
I am going to watch the Great British food Revival on bbc2 at 8pm.It is a new series starting tonight.

have a good evening. xx
M
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Hi Emptybox, Glad you got some Sun as well,.
I was just searching for the actual date that the season changes on, not sure why, I just like to know details.
WAtching Masterchef, I watch anything really, sometimes I can;t be bothered changing stations.

Hi Mollie,
Mrs Browns Boys if for 15yr old and over, so funny, there is even DVD's out, and this years will be out in April.
I will watch the Model Agency after this Masterchef.
I saw a bit of Great British Food revival, think they were talking abbout bread, anyway I turned over, bored.

Hope the weather is good tomorrow.
Going to get my new inhaler in the morning, will get brekkie at Morrisons.
Nurse wants me to report back after 3 weeks or so to see how the inhaler has been and if I still need the blue one and when.
Hicky
Good evening both

Hicky
Shame it ended up being too windy for you to get outside today.
Let's hope the inhalter sorts out your breathlessness now. You certainly need plenty of breathe to do all the work you get through in the garden.   And it is good you only have to rmember to take it once a day.
I too got bored with that bread programme last night.
Do you watch Come Dine with Me, and CoachTrip?  They are on from 5 till 6pm weekedays.

Have taken the dog a couple of walks today, nice day, but very windy.

I hear it is cold in Scotland with some areas having snow up there.
Hope Emptybox is managing to keep warm at home and doing his gardens.

time for evening tv now, not sure what to watch tonight.
Might try that new James Nesbit series on itv. If it is too graphic about brain sugery , will turn over though. Hope corrie is on too.

Have a good evening xx
M
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Thanks for the photos of random dogs Mollie.

It was very windy here as well, and drizzly too, with little breaks of sunshine.
No sign of any snow here, but it's been quite bad up north I think.

Glad you are still enjoying your daily walks Mollie, with your scruffy, windswept black dog.

I hope that new inhaler works out for you Hicky.

I enjoyed Relocation Relocation tonight, now I'm watching the thing on BBC1 about celebs living in a Nairobi slum.
emptybox
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Had Brekkie in Morrisons, O/H and MIL go there for a coffee so sat with them.

Picked a DIL up from the Docs about a mile from her house, didn't want her to walk home in the wind and maybe rain, O/H had dropped her off there but had to go to work.

Was going to go to the Red Hot Resaurant in Liverpool One but changed our mind will go next week, went to B&Q to look at the decking wood, will get some tomorrow.
Got a Burger each to bring home.
Had some crab legs from the freezer.
Made a bowl of soup.
Have got the Salted Cod Cutlet in wwater for Saturday morning.

Made a milk jelly.
Have ordered some stainless steel decking screws Torx 5.0 x 40mm & 5.0 x 90mm online.

I see you had the wind as well hope it eases off tomorrow.

I watched a few programs earlier and liked American Idol, great singers.

Good Afternoon Mollie & Emptybox.

I had my kippers for brekki, 6 fillets in the boil in the bag pack.

Went to B&Q, got 10 joists and 3 sections of hand rail, 10 brackets and some Torx screws to fix it with.

Been rained off, will go see if it's stopped.

Watching the news about the earthquake in Japan, how dreadful.
Ships and trains missing, many thousand missing.

Hope your weather isn't too bad, have a lovely day.

Oh, nearly forgot.
MrsG (Sharon) from the old days writes a blog now, she's a briiliant writer so enjoy.

Hi Hicky.
I like a kipper occasionally too.
Although, I think 6 fillets might be pushing it a bit?

Pity you've been rained off.
I was working earlier, but the rain came on here at about 4pm, so I went into town and got my lottery tickets.
It was very blowy again here though.

Very bad about Japan And the wave even reached as far as Hawaii.

I saw Mrs G's blog. I must have signed up for it, because I got an update on my BlackBerry.

Hope Mollie's dog doesn't get too windswept on her walk today?
emptybox
Evening Emptybox.

The rain stopped so I was right out, got quite a bit done till 6pm when I came in.

Japen, wow, some devastation there, beyond belief.

I put MrsH, meant to put 'G' on here, but on DS I couldn't really put 'G' incase they still remember her.
She posts on DS under Samrmy Marmy now since 2008.
She is brilliant at writing.

I also hope Mollie was able to get out.

Not sure whats on TV tonight, had problems with my dish getting Freesat, it was breaking up.
Changed to Freeview in my Puter room and it's fine.
Hicky
Good evening both

Hicky
I bet you enjoyed your kippers today.
Hope you enjoy the salt fish in the morning. I know a bit about them since I saw it on Hairy Bikers. Sounds like you have been spending all your wages at B and Q again. The burger van is always popular at our B and Q too, and the fried onions always smell yummy.
Do you think it was the windy weather giving your sat dish problems?
Shame the rain stopped your work in the garden today.
No rain here today, and wind has eased, just cloudy and dull.

Emptybox
good to hear you didn't forget your lottery ticket, When you win a few million, don't forget to invite me and Hicky out with you to celebrate.

Yes terrible news about Japan.   So sad for all affected.

There seems there must of been something in that Super Moon theory that I was listening being discussed on the radio a few nights ago.
Incase you haven't heard about Super Moon, this story is from Wednesday ....

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/ho...r-weather-chaos.html

Hicky...thanks for the MrsG link, I will take a look at it, I used to like chatting with her  on C4 site.

my friend's lappy broke today, so OH took her to PCWorld to see if they could fix it. I went to Tesco cafe and waited for them, then had coffee and a slice of fruit cake with her after.   Also went to M and S food hall for some yummy food. I was too tired after that to go walk with doggie. At PC World they took the battery out, and switched it on and off , and it worked again.   So luckily they didn't charge her.

I have been watching Corie and Ice Road truckers tonight, Will watch Phil Downunder after. It is the last in the series.

Hope you have a good evening.  xx
M
Evening Mollie.

Looking forward to the Saltfish, will do some bacon to have with it, and you splash some butter over it and a little pepper.

Rain was only for a few minutes so as soon as it stopped I went out.
Got quite a lot done in the end.

Have got enough wood to finish the 4th frame and to deck frame 2 as I've decked frame 1.
Put the first section of handrail up, have the wood for 2 more sections.

I think part of the dish problem might be that it is hiding behind a low roof section which won't help.

Looking at the weather forecast it says no rain till the 17th. hope so.
Mainly been watching the news from Japan, what a mess.

Hi Mollie and Hicky.

My forecast is very different to yours Hicky
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/...cast/4300?area=Kelso
It's saying heavy snow for tonight, but I'll believe that when I see it.
Think it's going to be wetter here though.

Hadn't heard about the moon getting closer Mollie, but that could certainly affect the tides etc.
Glad your friends laptop turned out to be OK, and that you got to enjoy coffee and cake at Tesco.
Pity the dog missed out though?

You'll need to get your dish and aerial sorted out Hicky. You don't want to miss out on your telly?
I enjoyed Phil Down Under, then watched Benidorm.
Pleased the rain didn't hold you up for too long.
