Hi Mollie, Hicky and Avalon Moonlight.

Not too bad a day here, dry anyway.

I've still no idea what's causing my internet problems, but they seem to be intermittant and it comes back on by itself, so i can't see that it's anything faulty my end?
Been OK today anyway.
I doubt it's anything to do with the solar flares, but you never know?

That's a nusance about your leaky cistern Hicky. I had one last year, but it was only in the downstairs toilet so not much possibility of damaging anything. One in the bathroom could have caused a lot of damage if your lad hadn't spotted it.

Hi Mollie. That's exciting that your son is in another theatre production. I hope you enjoy the performance.
Pity Kerry went, she was quite good entertainment value.
emptybox
Good morning all

Hicky
Hope it is dry for you today on your day off, so you can get in your garden.
It is dry here so far.
I didn't know you could get the 10% off any day for B and Q now, That is handy for you considering all you have to get from there.
I have the Heat delivered each Tuesday, so I can plan what to watch on tv.My subscription is up soon, so I will need to send off for some more Tescos vouchers to pay for it again.

Emptybox
glad your connection was ok yesterday. That is the trouble, it will be difficult for you to find out what causes it if it is intermittent problems. Let's hope it just corrects itself now.

Felt really tired and off last night, think I will have to cut back on the household jobs and going out for a bit more yet awhile. Have the consultant this Friday, so will see what he says about recovery time. (was originally told it would be several months though anyway).

Will take dog a little walk later but wont walk quite so fast today.

have a good day. xx
M

Afternoon Mollie, Avalon & Emptybox.

It's a bit miserable here today.
My Asian food parcel came, so plenty of Saltfish and Mango Pickle in stock, and Dopiaza curry kits.

Still having that problem with the radio/infra red signal clashes.
It's like those countries that block out certain TV & Radio channels.
Still now and again my Key Fob won't work at home, and my O/H's upstairs remote control for changing the stations on the Freesat box wouldn't work, next day it was fine.
It's a proper puzzler.

Your obviously doing too uch too soon Mollie, if he said 3 months that is probably about right, it all takes time.

Strange about your internet Emptybox, can only think you have a bad line, and if that was the case, the signal would cut out and reconnect when the line was better on it's own because the line is always trying to get into sync automatic.
Just seen a little Sun, things may be ok soon.

Hicky
Good Evening.

The rain didn't really start, drizzle for a couple of minutes.

Got a lot done really, don't have any more wood left, made the grid and manhole sections.
I'm building the 3m x 2.4m sections upside down so the bottom which is flat on the decking is really the top.
Some of the wood is 100mm & some 90mm, bought at different times.

Hope you had a walk today Mollie, not too much though.

Hope you got some work done Emptybox, you may have had some rain though.
It was pretty mild here, over the back they had a few Snow Drops in bloom and many other Crocus's showing.
Hicky
Evening.
Showery here today.

You managed to get a lot done on your decking Hicky.

Yes, you just have to take it very easily Mollie, and go by what your consultant says on Friday.

Internet still on.
It might well be faulty lines between me and the exchange Hicky?
But my router tells me the broadband was always on and working at full speed, even when I couldn't connect?

Watched that BBC1 thing 'Silk', about lawyers. Wasn't too bad. Not much else on.

I've got plenty of snowdrops out now, but nothing else at the moment.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

If I could afford to get all the wood I need for the decking it wood speed things up, but just buying some at a time, but as the weather has some control over it then it's not too bad.

When you say your router, are you talking about the modem side that is connected to the isp?
If that says you have been connected all the time then it must know.
Didn't know the modem kept a log, I suppose it does if you tell it to.

Don't know what that program was you were watching, Lawyers, I wouldn't be watching that anyway.
Saw a news item about them finding out what is causing the Cancer to spread from the breast to other parts of the body, this being the one without cure.
They are saying if they stop this from happening then it will save so many lives.
But it will take about 10yrs to get into the system, that's far too long I think.
Read here.

Hicky
Good evening all

Hicky
have you had chance to enjoy anything from your Asian parcel yet?
glad you managed to get things done yesterday.
Did you get outside today?
Hope today was better there, than it was here weather wise. It has poured most of the day, but I did manage to get the dog out for a little walk. She dug her heels in after a few steps though because she doesnt like going out if the lane it is raining or if there is rain puddles. Suited me not to go far though.

Emptybox
hope your connection was ok today.
did you get some gardening done?

I am watching Dreamlives for Sale now, If you havent seen it, it is about people who go to start new businesses abroad. Daughter just watched Australian Juniour Chef. Hopefully we will get to sample some of the nice menus she has seen.

Son been in the theatre all day again practising for their production of The Merchant of Venice.

Hope you have a good evening.  xx
M
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

I only bought more of what I already had from the Asian Cookshop, got an extra jar of the pickle for another of my Lads.
Still got a pack of Saltfish from the last lot, but these extra 6 portions will last a bit.

Been at work today, wasn't too busy though.

Not sure what the weather was like today,  but it was wet on the way home so don't think it was good.
The forecast says Sunny tomorrow then Light rain Friday and Saturday with heavy rain Sunday and Sunny Monday.

You can't blame the dog for not wanting to go out, if the dog doesn't want to then it's best you don't go out either.
Hicky
Evening Mollie and Hicky.

Internet still on.
I worded my post badly yesterday Hicky. I wasn't looking at a log from my router. I was just checking the configuration page periodically, and even when I couldn't get an internet connection, the page told me that there was broadband on the line at the usual speed. Also the link light on the router was steady, which also means it was finding broadband on the line.
I think it was Orange's servers at fault? My only doubt about that is that i couldn't find anyone else complaining about being disconnected. It might have been a local issue though, or something in the exchange.
If it happens again at a time when i can phone Orange, then I shall phone Orange, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that i don't have to.

It was grey, cloudy and cold here. I suppose I could have gone out, but I didn't.

That's an interesting article about a cancer cure Hicky. But as you say, it'll take a long time to come through.

Really enjoyed watching 'A History of Ancient Britain' tonight. I love seeing all those prehistoric buildings etc on Orkney.
Maes Howe, Skara Brae, the ring of Brodgar, the Stones of Stenness. They're all names I've heard for years, and I keep meaning to go and see them for myself. Hopefully I will sometime.
emptybox
Good afternoon all

HIcky
glad you werent too busy at work yesterday.
Will you be buying your decking tommorrow when you get paid?
Hope it is dry for you today to get outside.
It has been dry here so far, although cloudy.

Emptybox
Hope you dont need to contact Orange about your connection, I know what a pain that is.
I forgot to watch History of Britain last night. You will have to try and get round to going to see those stones when we have some nice weather. How far from you are they?

Just took dog short walk again, she refused again to walk down lane, as it was wet underfoot. Son busy rehearsing again.
I have to be at hosptial for 10am to see consultant tommorrow morning. OH taking day off to come with me, because he usually has half day anyway on Fridays.

hope you have a good day.  x
M
Hi Mollie.

Good luck with the consultant tomorrow.
Good for you, taking a short walk, even though the dog was reluctant.

Here's that episode of A History of Ancient Britain on BBC iPlayer in case you want to catch it.
It really is incredible seeing the houses at Skara Brae, with their dressers and beds and toilet, and realising that they are over 5000 years old.

Orkney is about 350 miles from me, including a ferry trip. It's further away, and would take longer to get to, than my relatives in Norfolk, who I visited in November.
Plus you'd need a few days there to see all the sites.
Certainly not day-trip material, but one day....

Are you having a good day off Hicky?
emptybox
Evening All.

Strange about your router & internet signal, it's about as strange as my missing Fob sognal.

Finished the 2nd deck section frame, 3 more to do, plus maybe some ramps.

It's been a fab day here, Sun was warm and out all day.
Got loads done and my lad fitted a new Cistern in the bathroom.

Watching Masterchef, then Celeb Juice with Josie Gibson at 10pm on ITV2.
Hicky
Hi Hicky.
It wasn't too bad here, but the sun only came out late afternoon.
Glad you got a lot done anyway.

I watched  Celebrity Juice as well. Josie was very funny on it, especially when she had to guess that she was Nadia.

I decided to order some more heating oil now before the price rockets because of the Middle east crisis.
I don't strictly speaking need more yet, but by mid-late march, when I would run out, the price may have gone through the roof.
emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

It a crazy show that, but Josie was OK, they don't half take the michael out of Fearne.

It's ok stocking up with you oil as long as you don't have a leak and it's locked.

One things for sure, the price of the oil won't be going down much.

Watched Masterchef as well, some good cooks.

It says light rain tomorrow, that's a blow if it is.
It says heavy rain Sat/Sun and Sunshine Monday, would you believe.
Hicky
I'm in 2 minds about locking the tank.

It's only a plastic tank, and the stories are that they will just puncture the tank to get the oil, if it is padlocked. And a new tank would cost more than the oil in it, I would think? Plus an awful lot of hassle to get it fixed.

On the other hand, the oil belongs to me, but the tank belongs to the landlord, so it would be up to them to get it fixed.

I think I'll padlock it.

Hi Emptybox.

That makes it awkward really.
If the tank isn't protected then don't think it's worth pasdlocking it.
Unless you can box the tank in by some means,

Not too bad today.
Finished section 2 of the patio decking frame.
Had Brekki with O/H in the garden centre, very nice.
Also had tea out at a Carvery, big Sunday lunch, only ÂĢ4 somethink each, very nice to.

Found out while at B&Q the decking plank has dropped in price and is now bogof which makes it about ÂĢ1.50 a piece.
Will see how much I can afford tomorrow.
Hicky
Hi Hicky.

That's great, if you can get your wood cheaper.
Sounds like you had a good day.

Good weather here as well. Sunny but rather windy.
I was cutting a hedge this afternoon, but the wind was blowing the cuttings away as fast as I could rake them up.

I also did my shopping, and did some housework, because my Brother and family are visiting tomorrow.
Think I'll make them a nice casserole for supper?

I'll need to look at my insurance policy to see if heating oil is covered? I can't honestly remember if it is?
But I think they would probably insist the tank was padlocked? Have to look into it.
There's been quite a lot of thefts of it in the local area as well.
Don't think I'd want to go to the trouble of boxing it in? It belongs to the landlord anyway.

Watched Phil in Oz again.

Hope you have had a good day mollie.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

Won't be able to get too much wood tomorrow, have been spending too much today already.
Will get ÂĢ40 worth, but doubt if my 10% off card will be excepted as well.

I'm sure a Casserole for supper will go down well.

It was windy early on here,
Hope you caught your hedge cuttings up.

Not sure whats best to do with the oil, can't see the Insurance covering it.

Hope Mollie has been ok today.
Hicky
Good morning all

Emptybox
thanks for the Ancient Britain link. I will catch up with that now... 5000 years old, that is some history. I never realised Orkney was that far away from you. Wasn't it Orkney that BB winner Cameron came from?  Don't blame you ordering your oil as the price keeps going up, but it is probably a good idea to paddlock it after spending all that money on it. Knowing what insurance people are like they might not insure you for oil unless it is specifically added to the policy, and they might insist it is paddloced too, When we added our bikes to ours, they would only insure them for a certain specifiic amount, and only if they were always paddlcocked. It ended up being so expenisve, we didn't bother for a second year to inusre them.
Is it sphag bol dor dinner today?

Hicky
that is good if your decking has dropped in price. Hope you can afford to grab the bargain while you can, and also that they wil give you the 10% off.
Your carvary is good value, isn't it?
Our carvery has gone up to ÂĢ5.75 now, but is still good value for what you get.
Hope you get a dry day today to get in your garden.

I had a busy day yesterday, so am tired today, will stay home this morning, then take dog a little walk this afternoon.
Saw consultant in the morning (details over in other place), and in the evening saw son in Merchant of Venice. I enjoyed seeing him, but to be honest I didn't understand most of it.  He didn't have a main part, but even so, his lines were complicated, so I don't know how he managed to memorise them.

Have a good day, it is dry and is starting to brighten up here now.
M
Hi Mollie & Emptybox.

Saw your Blog Mollie, things don't look too bad, a little more time needed.

Still have to get an appointment with the doc about the Xrays, will ring again this week.

Think you would have to put your oil & tank if required on your contents policy.

I only use the inhaler if I'm going to do some hard labour.

Was up quite early, had my Saltfish with bacon & pouched eggs.
Went to B&Q 3 times getting wood, the bogof was good and got my extra 10% off as well.
The wood allready had 50p off, then 50% off then 10% off.So the cost should have been ÂĢ55 and I paid ÂĢ21.44.
Also with the wood joists I got yesterday I have made the decking section 3 frame.Put section 2 in yesterday and aligned and packed it.
Watching Ant & Dec at the Mo.Going to Liverpool one fopr a meal in the special restaurant where they have multinational food ranges for choice, and it's a serve yourself buffet. It's one of my DIL's Birthday.

Evening Mollie and Hicky.

Glad your consultant visit went OK Mollie, and you are on track with your recovery.
Glad you enjoyed your lad's concert as well. Yes Shakespeare can be a bit dry. I remember doing the Merchant of Venice at school. Studying it that is, not performing it.

Yes Orkney is a long way away, and you are right. It's where Cameron Stout comes from.

I didn't have spag bol because i had my Brother and family here, so i gave them casserole. TBH it wasn't my best effort. It was very tasty, even though I say it myself, but the meat was a wee bit tough. I still haven't quite worked out the secret of tender meat every time. Sometimes it is good, and sometimes a bit tough. I cooked it for a couple of hours, but perhaps I should have given it longer with less heat?
Anyway it was enjoyable nonetheless, and they went away happy.

They just brought my youngest nephew with them today. The eldest one was spending the day with his girlfriend. (he's 15). The young one spent a couple of hours playing on my Wii, so it kept him amused.

Hi Hicky, that really was a bargain you got with your wood.
You must be reaching the end of the job now? Surely?
Did you catch sight of Chanelle in the Push the Button audience? She was there with her friend.
Was this meal in Liverpool One tonight? If so, i hope you had a great time.

Hi Emptybox.

Not sure why your meat is tough if you cooked it for a couple of hours, stewing steak is ok, not sure what meat you used.

I still ned quite a bit of wood, got enough for now, O/H doesn't want the normal decking handrails fitting, she wants it more open like with a few posts and thick rope slung loose between them and fairly low, not for leaning on.

Didn't see Chanelle in the Audience, she posted a pic of her and Dec, here.:
Mantelpiece shot!!

Had the meal in Liverpool One, called 'Red Hot' World Wide Buffet and Bar.
Food from around the world, Indian, Thai, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Cajun, Italian, Mediterranean, English.
Eat as much as you want, very cheap as well, need to book although they have a lot of staff and table.
Hicky
Hi Hicky and Mollie.

It was a nice day here, with a frosty start. Think that's the forecast for me in the coming week.
Got a whole load of ironing done this afternoon.

I used cubed casserole beef from the Co-op for my casserole, which is more or less the same as stewing steak, I think. I usually always cook it the same way, so it's maybe down to what meat i buy? The last time I made the same the meat melted in the mouth, so i was a bit disappointed yesterday, but I might have used meat from a different supermarket then? I'll have to make a note the next time it is good, and just buy that from then on.

I had a look at that menu Hicky. There's something there for everybody. You'd have to be very picky not to find something to like.

Chanelle was pictured a few time in the audience, but the spotlight didn't pick her out unfortunately. I put a screenshot in the Chanelle forum.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

Didn't get much done in the garden, a lovely day though, we were booked in the restaurant for 12o.clock, had no brekkie.
I couldn't believe it, I love every type of food so it was heaven.
Not sure what Casserole Beef is, I only get Stewing Steak, but you can get Aberdean Angus which is even better.

I saw the picture/screenshot you posted, no wonder I didn't see her.

Hope Mollie is OK.
Hicky
Good morning all

Hicky
hope you enjoyed your brekkie, I think you needed that with your busy day at work so far.
Glad to hear you got a good offer on the wood.
Looked at that food site. what a choice they have on offer. Something for everyone, and for kids, as well as adults. It must be such a temptation to overeat though. Did you try lots of diffeerent things?
Shame there isn't one near us though.

Emptybox
shame your meat did't turn out as well as you had hoped, but at least  you got no complaints from the family.   As you say, it sounds like it could all be down to the quality of the meet as you cooked it the same.
Gosh, your nephew has started the serious dating game young.
Good job you have your Wii to keep the youngest amused. What game did he like playing on it?

It is cooler here today, but nice and dry, and fairly bright.
I managed a short walk up the mountain yesterday, which was really nice, because I didn't get breahtless.  Luckily we just missed the rain showers. I treid to go for brekkie with hubbie in asda, like we used to, but as soon as I sat down with my (small) brekkie , I knew I wasnt up to eating it. Mashed and ate a few beans and drank coffee, and ended up in tears because swollen throat hurt, so went home.  I obviously need to stick to eating soft food, little and often, at home for a while longer, and just building up strength walking outdoors at the moment.
I just had some porridge for brekkie. Very nice with some syrup added ,and easy for me to eat.

On Saturday we went a walk on the coast where the sheep and the new lambs are. Only a few so far have been born. So they are very young, so cute, staying real close to their mothers.

Have a good day both. xx
M
Hi Mollie.

Bad news about not being able to manage your brekkie, maybe some scrambled egg would have been ok with your throat.

At the restaurant I tried a lot of the items on offer but with so many it will take many visits to even try a 5%, the menu is enourmous.

Pity you can't get to one, but you would need to wait till your ok to enjoy it first.
We all really enjoyed the time we had, and everyone was very pleased all round, there was only 7 of us including 2 children and a teenager, , but you couldn't help but feel satisfied.

Don't think you can really over eat, because you are not rushing and because you don't get a lot on your plate at a time, the brain gets the message that you've had enough, I must have had about 5 plates, but one was Sushi, another a little curried veg, another was some pork ribs and chicken drumsticks, but not a lot in itself.

It's good that the weather is letting you get out for walks, not sure if the worst is over yet, soon be spring won't it?

Been fairly busy today, but shouldn't be long now.

Have a nice day.

Hope the weathers good tomorrow.
Hicky
Hicky
glad you got to sample a few of the food dishes at the resteraunt.
A good excuse to go back there again, as you still have a lot left to sample.

Hope you have a relaxing evening after your busy day at work.
let's hope it is dry for you tommorrow to get in your garden.

It was nice and dry, when we took doggie a walk today.
Yes signs of spring are starting. I see the lemon flowers have come out in the bushes. (forgot what they are called now).

Double Corrie tonight, then I am not sure what to watch.

Hope Emptybox is having a good day.
M
Evening Mollie.

I hope it won't be too long before I go back to sample more delightful food.

It was more busy at work than I expected.

My extra vine 3mm plastic wire came today with the tensioners so thats another job I can do.
Will get the 3rd section of decking frame in position and packed and fastened.

Glad you got out ok with Doggy,
Not sure what is good on the TV tonight.
Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
Frosty start, but a nice sunny day.

You must be improving Mollie, if you can go up a mountain without getting breathless.
Pity you aren't up to eating out with the family yet, but that'll come.
My nephew was playing Lego Harry potter on the Wii. It was one of the games I got with the console. I've never played it myself, but it looked fun while he was playing it.

Hope you weren't too overworked today Hicky.

Not much on telly tonight right enough.
I watched the Gadget Show on Five, now I'm watching 'When Teenage Meets Old Age' on BBC2, then I'll probably watch the film 'Ultraviolet' on Five. I've seen it before, but it's got Milla Jovovich in it.
emptybox
Evening Emptybox.

Just flitting from one program to another, think I have most that I want to see recorded, series wise.

Was pretty busy at work, says it will be a nice day tomorrow which will be good.
Just watching Hotel Rescue at the Mo.
Saw Hells Kirchen and the end of Biggest Loser.

Hope weather is treating you ok up there.
Hicky
Good Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Had a good day today, weather beautiful, little or no wind.
Finished putting my new 3mm plastic vine supports up.
Got my O/H to give me a lift with the 3rd decking frame, thats now fixed and ready for the decking.

Took one of the security lamps out from a fitting in the front gatepost, it went last week, it was a filament lamp,
Went to B&Q found some of the correct type 230v 11w Low Energy for ÂĢ1.88 then some for 98p then noticed a big display of lamps, the same as I wanted, couldn't see a marked price anywhere.
Then saw a teeny part of the display had a little price mentioned, not a B&Q price tag, but a 10p in small letters, I asked a member of staff if that was right, yes he said, so I got 4, then I went and got a wire brush to fit my battery drill so I can clean up the wood of the garden bench.

When I got home and was putting the lamp in my neighbor opposeite came home as well, they have the same fittings in their gateposts, his 2 lamps had gone, I gave him 2 and he fitted his using my Allen key, he was made up.

Made Sausage mash and onion gravy for tea, just fancied it, got the sausages from a garage freezer, have a few kilo of them from costco.

Hope you have both had a good day anyway.

Oh, just remembered, rang the Docs, he had left a note against the results of the chest Xray, it just said all is normal,  note from the nurse said she wanted a followup about the inhaler, see her next Tuesday.
Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Great news about your X-Ray results Hicky. That must be a weight off your mind?

That was a bargain you found at B&Q. I've noticed that myself, that they have some silly prices for those low energy bulbs, and inconsistant pricing.

It was a lovely day here, after a very cold night. I didn't go out because I was feeling below par. I had one of my headaches last night, and didn't get much sleep, and still felt a bit wobbly today. Think I'm OK now though?

Watched Horizon earlier, with lovely Alice Roberts. Then watched the X-Files film on Film4+1, now Benidorm on ITV2+1.

Got my oil delivery this morning, so put the padlock back on the tank. Thought that was probably best.

Hope you have had a good day Mollie.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

I was pleased about the results, it all helps, these body Mot's are needed these days.

I will get some more lamps when I go back into B&Q at the weekend as I need a few more Low Energy ones, they had BC & ES which is handy.
A lot of people don't like them because they take time to warm up but you should put them on a minute before.

Having that headache wasn't nice, wonder why, maybe you should see the Doc, could be eyes related though, or a few things.

At least you've got your Oil, no harm putting the padlock on it and you won't use much over the summer so it will stay pretty full, inviting for someone.

Hoping to be not so busy today, got a few jobs though.

Roll on brekkie.

Hope Mollie had a good day and didn't do too much.
Hicky
Good morning all

Emptybox
Sorry to hear you felt unwell yesterday. I hope you feel ok today. Are you drinking enough water? I did read a lot of headaches are caused by not drinking enough. Or as Hicky says, myabe eye trouble? Or could just be a bit of a bug? I sometimes get heaaches from allegies and a blocked nose. That is the trouble it is so hard to work out what causes headaches.
Good job you got that lego game as part of your package, it means your nephew will easily be kept amused when visiting you.
Will the new delivery of oil last you the rest of th winter now? Good idea to paddlock it with the cost of it now.

Hicky
hope work isn't too bad today for you.
So pleased to hear your chest X ray was all clear. I thought it might of been, because I think they would of contacted you if there was a problem. I know how concerned they were  as soon as they picked up a shadow on mine, and that is why I was kept in hospital. It is also good that you don't need to use the inhalers too often too. .
Glad you got the good weather yesterday, you certainly made the most of it by getting all those outdoor jobs done. How handy you could help your neighbour out with the bargains too.
I saw some ex display plastic sheds outside B and Q half price yesterday, you just reminded me I better tell OH about them if they are still there.

Emptybox... I too watched the teenagers and pensioners on holiday. Quite good.
There was a programme on bbc3 last night, repeated later in the week about the real life Young Doctors. I think you would both find that interesting.

It is a beautiful sunny day here today. Hopefully it is where you are too.
I was busy yesterday, trying to help son sort out paperwork to do an OU course. They are really good, they pay the fees for the course, and give them an allowance of ÂĢ1100 a year, which is better than going into debt like you have to do at other Uni's now.

have a good day.
time to take doggie a walk.
M
Hi

Feeling fine today, and it was a nice day so I got a bit of work done. I got a hedge cut, then I went into town and bought some seed potatoes and lettuce and tomato seeds for planting.
I'll probably plant the tomatoes in a propagator inside fairly soon, but the potatoes and lettuce will wait till the Spring.

People are starting to ring up about jobs now, so that must be a sign that Spring is round the corner.

Not sure why I get headaches, but I've had them for years. Occasionally I get a bad one that means I have to sit in a darkened room for a few hours to get rid of it. If I try to lie down it makes it worse. But they tend to only come once every few months.  In fact the last time I had one as bad as Monday's was probably nearly a year ago, so they don't really worry me.
I also have a chronic nasal condition, rhinitis or something like that, where I permanently have a slightly blocked nose, and have sniffles and sneezes every morning.
Again it's not very severe and doesn't bother me, but now you mention it, I suppose they could be linked? Perhaps something to do with sinuses or something?

I hope the delivery of oil should see me right through the winter. I just use a little in the summer to keep the water hot, but I might top up the oil in the summer, depending on the prices at the time?

I'll look out for that programme on Young Doctors Mollie.
I usually watch Waterloo Road tonight on BBC1, then turn over to BBC2 for 'A History of Ancient Britain'. It's about the Bronze Age tonight.

That's certainly a University course with a difference Mollie? One where they pay you to attend? How does that work?

I like those low energy bulbs as well Hicky.
Most of them come on almost immediately now, but the ones I've got in the living room, that are the same shape as the old bulbs to go with my fitting, take ages to come on. At least 5 minutes to get up to full brightness. Just means you've got to put them on a bit before you go into the room, or put a side light on so you can see what you are doing with the TV remote.

Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Very busy at work all day, didn't get hom till after 6pm, then made a Wonton soup into a Hot & Sour, then had a Shepherds Pie.
Pleased about the Xray, will go and see the nurse about the inhaler Tuesday.
Going to get my prescription in the morning and will get brekkie at Morrisons.Yep, had a good day in the garden yesterday, still loads to do though.

My Lad had a few days holiday so he flew back to Darwin from Melbourne to see a few friends.A 6 hr flight.

He has ordered his Masters degree, he's going to pay for it himself, his complany would but he doesn't want that, he doesn't want to be in their debt.Glad your Lad is getting help with his course Mollie, thats great.I was looking at those garden shed/box, storage thingies, handy for the tools.
Glad you got some work done Emptybox, and it looks like you are going to be busy now the weather has changed a bit.

If being in a dark room helps I would assume it's related to your eyes, one way or another.
