Clapping. I personally find people who are all about looks shallow. It should be a balance of both, with obviously Brains and Personality the main thing Nod.

I know that beauty may not last a lifetime, but seldom does anything else either.

The footballers with talent give up playing at a very early age, even before the beauty has.

Everything only has a certain lifespan, so why should beauty be expected to last for ever?

Anyway, I've just ordered a new 24" widescreen flat panel monitor from Dell a G2410 as a treat to myself on moving into my new Puter room, and have ordered some new speakers as well, this old subwoofer set is only mono now as the left channel packed up.

Morning Peeps Hug

Hope the sun is shining as brightly for you as it is here Cool

Hicky Hug I guess I was just trying to say beauty isn't everything and that fact should be taken into consideration. So many youngsters, at least down here, seem to think that looks is the be all and end all of who is worthy your attention. Frowner sad but true.

Dell flat screen now that's a real treat Big Grin I don't think I would want anything so huge though but I suppose that's a man thing Laugh

I hope everyone is going to have a great day today Hug

See you about maybe Wave Depends if your busy with RL and hopefully having fun Big Grin

Good Morning Everyone.Wave

The late birds - Darloboy & Emptybox, and the Early bird Suzie.Smiler

It comes with a 3 yr Monitor exchange thingy Emptybox and the standby power usage is only 0.14 watt which means I can have it on standby for 7,142 hours for about ÂĢ0.10p, you can't get cheaper than that.Big Grin

Hi Suzie
The Sun is lovely here today, same as you by the looks of it.

The Monitor size is simply so that I can have either 2 A4 pages on the screen at once side by side and read them both or I can have a video playing at one side of the monitor with me posting on the other side.
It should come in very handy really, i'm hoping so anyway.
The price has come right down to ÂĢ265 on the road, so to speak.

Must go and get some brekkie and see to the plants.
Catch you later.Wave
Have a Nice day.

Oh right, I'm not that switched on with computer gizmos and software Laugh But give me a laptop motherboard to fix and I'm in my element Big Grin I used to fix them in my last job which lasted 10 and half years so I think I should know my way around those components Big Grin
That's not a bad price for a monitor and with that kind of warranty.
Enjoy your brekkie and enjoy your gardening Valentine

Hi Suzie.Wave
That sounds like a great job Suzie, I never did much with electronics, I used to build Computer for people to order as a hobby, have been doing that since they came out, but stopped when you could buy them very cheap.

My real Job is writing software for Programmable Logic Controllers for mechanical handling equipment automation systems for the car industry mainly.

But people don't realise that when they see these machines making components on 'How is it Made' programs that someone had to write the software program.Big Grin

It was a really great job as I had always dreamt of doing exactly that and not many peeps get to do a job of their dreams Big Grin
Although saying that I do love the job I'm doing now as it's all relatively new and I get to play with the research and design side of things Big Grin

I remember having to programme PLCs on my course, we had great fun introducing our own ideas into the programme Big Grin much to our lecturer's disgust as we were supposed to be taking the lesson seriously. The stuff we learnt from our random programming though was quite educational Nod
I wouldn't mind learning a few programming languages just to satisfy my curiousity of how it all fits together and how different those languages are Big Grin

I used to design software for PLC's such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Sneider(sp), Square D & others.
Usually using Ladder Diagram format, which of course is really Boolean.

The only real differences between them id the Syntax and the addressing method.
Which was a nuisance as you had to start learning it again all over every time you change manufacturers.

My programs are transporting the Jaguar X type shells and under bodies around the factory at this time using the floor conveyor systems and also the overhead trolley systems as well.
But many of my programs are all over the world, one was sent to Portugal many years ago, it was a control system for a chemical plant.

Oh yes boolean logic isn't that working out all those input/ouput tables with the logic gates. One small mistake and it all goes belly up and your trying to find that ellusive needle in a haystack to put it all right Laugh

Your job certainly fascinates my curiousity into finding out more Big Grin

Was a bit like the film 'Being John Malkovitch'

Hope your day has been wonderful. Hug
