Thanks for the videos Hicky.
I played them at the same time. Was I supposed to?
That Diana Vickers song is not at all bad. She's got a funny little voice. Sounds like she's singing from the bottom of an empty baked beans tin at times. But I liked it.
Think I'll have fishcake chips and green beans tonight? Just fancy a fishcake.
Having now added about 7 or more Celebs/Models to my Reply listing, I am very pleased.
You seem to get a lot of random companies etc following you, don't think they mean any harm though.
Chatting to Chanelle does come above Chatting to others., mainly because she is female and Lovely.
It's a shame to discriminate but difficult not to at the same time.
I thought the Video's where good, didn#t watch them together though, it might have been bad for my eyes.
I like Diana's song, she is just unique.
Just had Deep fried Chicken wings, then some pancakes with syrup then a big Strawberry Tart.
That will do for a bit.
Have now had a reply from Chanelle, Sophie, Jeff, Natalie, Yvie, Tanya & Gerry.
Not a bad start eh, could be more but i've forgotten who.
She has 5 million followers on Facebook and 2.8million on Twitter.
This link is worth reading and watching the Video's as well.

I hope you are well, and have had a good week.
It was my son who was in a performance last week, you must of thought it was Hicky, because he had been posting a response to me.
My son recently joined a Youth theatre. As a young child he used to go to drama club, and has just progressed to the youth threatre. He only had a small part because it was his first performance with them, but he did enjoy it. He got his pic in the local paper today, along with the rest of the group who appeared in the production, and his name too. . They spent a lot of time rehearsing before the 2 performances they did.
I hope you have had a good day.
It has been a nice day here too today Hicky.
I wonder if Emptybox has had any more snow today?
Hicky Sounds like you are enjoying yourself on your twitters.
I read that Lucy and Stacey have got work singing in Butlins. We like Butlins, but only if we stay in the posh accomodation there. We once stayed in this lodge, and it was horrible.
Your pancakes and strawberry tart sounded like a nice treat.
I have just eaten one of those new Caramel Magnums. I only got them because they were on offer in Tescos, but it was delicious.
Emptybox
hope you enjoyed your fish cake last night.
Not much on tv tonight, is there.
And we still have a long wait till summer BB starts.
My OH comes home tommorrow, at last. But he won't get back till about 9.30pm.
Had a good day Mollie, didn't go out, was going to go to Costco for some Crab Legs, but the Legs were on sale last week, they moved it forward because the American owner was popping in or something, so will have to wait till the end of March now.
Had some curry soup then Chicken wings and chilli sauce, then Ambrosia creamed rice with Jam over the top.
Your O/H will get pretty late, is that because of the trains, or just that he's working late?
Taking my Lads partner to the hair dressers tomorrow morning, looking after the little one, taking him to MIL's to sort her Anti-virus out then waiting for his mum to come back from the hairdressers.
Going out for a meal to the Chinese Friday at 6pm, it's my Lads Partners Birthday so we are all having the works.
No snow today mollie. Just mist and rain.
Bet you'll be glad to see your OH back. Hope his course went well.
Fishcake was good last night.
I just had a quick pasta thing tonight because i was preoccupied with my music system.
My speakers came today, and I was setting it all up. Sounds pretty good for a second-hand system.
I've bought a matching CD player for it, because the one I have was the wrong width and depth, so couldn't have sat with the other components.
I'll probably sell the other one on ebay when the Denon one arrives.
Still waiting for the part for my computer. It was a mistake to order it from Hong Kong. It was very cheap, but has taken ages to send. I should have got one from this country. Ah well!
Trouble is, that's now the main computer, with the printer and scanner attached. And also the hard drive with all my media files on, so although I've been able to use my other machine to come on the web. I've been kind of lost without the main one.
Hi Hicky.
I thought you sorted out your MiL's anti-virus before, or was that when you had car trouble?
Hope you enjoy your slap-up chinese meal tomorrow.
Not much on the telly tonight, right enough.
I missed Eastenders, because of my preoccupation (see above), but I know what happened by following Chanelle's tweets.
Glad your getting you sound system sorted, as long as you can get on the web, that's the main thing, it's awful when you can't.
The MIL's Antivirus has to be re-registered every 12 months, it's the free one Avast Home edition, it seems fine, have used it on loads of PC's before.
Couldn't get the internet to work properly though, it had just upgraded to IE8 and I couldn't get the pages fast enough, had to leave it in the end because I ran out of time, I had given my Lads Partner a lift to the hair dressers and was looking after the little lad while I was trying to sort out the Lappy, but had to leave it to get the little one to play-school for 1pm.
I see Chanelle has gone off the air for now, that's a blow because we can't give her any support now.
I'm looking forward to my eat all you like Chinese Banquet tonight.
Hopefully she's just got pre-baby blues, or something like that.
I use Avast on all my computers.
The new version 5 looks a little different, but works just the same.
I wouldn't think it's to blame for slowing IE8 down?
Enjoy your banquet.
Think I'll have roast pork tonight. In fact I'd better go and get it on.
Hicky
I hope you have a good evening out, and enjoy the meal. I wonder if you eat a lot, as it is eat all you want?
Sounds like you will have had a busy day today, but I bet the young ones have enjoyed their time with you.
My OH doesn't get back till 9.30pm, because the earlier trains were all full, due to this rugby match that is on in Cardiff tonight. But his actual course finished by 4pm, so he has been hanging round London for a long time. You can't do much if you have luggage with you, but luckily it was dry, so he sat in Hyde Park for a while.
Emptybox...
Glad your speakers arrived. Sounds like you had fun with them. That computer part is taking an age to arrive. Just the same for the part we ordered for daughters lappy, still no sign of it.
Time for me to watch Corrie now.
ps I appear to be typing in a different colour, don't know why?
I just wanted to re-register Avast to get the key code to get updates for another year, but don't know if it was because I installed IE8 as it wanted to or if there was a problem with the internet before I installed it.
Will have to try another day now.
The Banquet was great, so tasty, think you Defo eat too much when it's like that.
Mollie.
Think you have clicked on the 'A' on the post bar, click on iot and select top left which is black.
It's a shame your O/H can't get home earlier, he would have to leave a lot earlier I would think.
Hope you OH is back home now.
It's been an awful day weather-wise here. heavy rain and sleet all day.
I did my weekly shop, but got bloomin' wet.
I had my pork in breadcrumbs, with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a mixture of broccoli, carrots and parsnips.
Sounds like a lot of veg, but I only had a small amount of each left, so I used them all up.
Avast 5 doesn't seem to need an activation code, but you still have to register it for a year at a time. It doesn't seem to offer to upgrade you automatically from version 4, so I guess you have to go to the site yourself, or just get it when your registration period ends. just works the same way, anyway.
It's dryer here today, not looking as though it will stay like that though.
That pork meal sounds good, i've got a boned leg of pork to cook, probably for tomorrow now think todays meals are sorted, got a biggish beef and gravy pie in the fridge, got to be eaten.
Not sure what Avast version MIL has on now, will have to check it out, but if the internet speed is bad will have to look at that.
It was very hard to find where I have to re-register it, maybe best if I just download the latest version.
Glad to hear you had a good time at the buffet party Hicky. I hope the birthday girl enjoyed herself. Did the litltlies go too? Thanks for the hint about the typing colour schemes here. Hope you cansort the MIL's pc stuff out. Sounds very complicated to me.
Emptybox
That weather there sounded horrible yesterday, but with it being March tommorrow,Spring won't be far away now. Your evening meal sounded nice. (but I'd enjoy it most without the pork ).
Seems like a nice day here today so far. Hope it stays nice, so we can go a walk on the seafront when we take son to youth theatre this afternoon.
OH got back on time from London. The family and the dog were all so pleased to see him back.
We had nice brekkie at Asda tommorrow, then went to visit friends, and I got a nice blouse from the charity shop. I showed it my friend to try on (because I thought it would be too small for me), and she said there was no way she would try it on because she would like Mini Mouse, It was bright red and covered in white spots. But of course I couldnt' resist trying it on, and am now a proud owner of Mini mouse's blouse, all ready for summer.
Hope you all have a good Sunday. xx
Can't stop, got to make brekkies and have a Christening to go to soon, and O/H wants a full English.
Talk later.
Didn't come on the web Yesterday because I was preoccupied again.
I went into town and got a few bits and bobs, including a couple of those picture frames that take multiple photos.
We've got loads of family pictures in numerous individual frames cluttering up the lounge, so I thought I'd rationalize them a bit, and put some in these frames, and hang them on the wall.
Hopefully it'll cut down on the dusting, and free up a bit of space for something else (not sure what?).
It's been a very wet weekend here, so any snow is away, but the hills are still white.
Looking at the forecast, it might be drier next week but frosty. minus 4 tonight, and minus 5 tomorrow. So the Spring is a while away here Mollie.
You've got taste in clothes Mollie.
The jury is still out as to wether it's good though?
Hope you enjoy the Christening Hicky. One of your grandchildren?
Will it include a slap up tea?
It wasn't one of my Grand Children, it was the Daughter of my O/H's Brother's Son, whatever that is, and nearly all the couples there had a few little ones of all ages, wow.
Back again safe and sound, wow, so many little ones at the Do, nice service and the afternoon party was great, loads of lovely snacky food anyway.
Was playing with a load of little ones, balloons that they kept letting float upwards., lots of jelly and cakes for the little ones, had a lovely time anyway.
Was going to do my big Pork Leg today, but think that's off now, so not sure what I'll be having if anything.
That made me LOL....
Hicky
Glad to hear you had such a good time at the Christening. You have been busy lately, what with the birthday, and now the Christening too.
Emptybox.... that will be nice to get some piccies put together to go up on your wall. And if it helps cut down on the dusting, all the better. I too like piccies around the house. Hope it was a bit drier for you today.
It was dry here today, so we got a nice hour and half walk down the seafront and on the beach today with the dog, whilst son did his youth theatre. The wind was very cold, so I was glad of my woolie hat. OH forgot his, so I sent him in the Pound shop to buy one. I got a nice take away latte to warm me up.
It started off dry, but we had rain from 11am on.
It's dry at the moment, and the sky has cleared, so I think we are in for a frost.
When I first read your post I thought you said that you got a nice take away tattie to warm you up.
Apart from feeling that I might be turning you Scottish, it reminded me of my student days, when we used to go to 'Spud-U-like' and buy baked potatoes with various fillings. Now that really would have warmed you up.
Did some hoovering and cleaning today then I had a cold meat salad with beetroot and chips for supper.
I watched Larkrise to Candleford, then the Richard Dimbleby history thing.
Didn't want anything too filling.
At least you got a walk on the seafront today Mollie, haven't look at the weather next week.
Watched the dancing on ice, it shouldn't have been a girl leaving.

Emptybox
at me having a tattie. They have a jacket potato shop here in the food centre. I like them. I bet chips made a nice change for you yesterday Emptybox. I like them now and again too.
Hicky
I take it, it was a work day for you today? Hope you were not too busy.
What did you have for dinner today? I did a roast chicken, roasties and veg for the family, and I had Quorn cottage pie, very nice too.
St Davids day here today.
Taken the dog on 2 long walks today, because the weather was so nice. I can walk to my mums now, so that is very handy.
Have a good evening all.
Couldn't get back on today, was rather busy, could get a few tweets to look at that was all.
My O/H did a Roast pork dinner tonight and it was ready for me, with roast spuds, mash veg and gravy the works.
That's handy being able to walk to your mums isn't it, that will get you out a bit more.
It was a nice day here as well, but very frosty in the morning.
I did a bit of work outside, but I needed my fleece and woolly hat etc.
The only reason I knew it was St David's day, was because Google have a Welsh theme today.
I hear there were no daffodils ready in Wales, and there usually is?
My daffs are only just poking through the ground now.
Very handy that your Mum's new place is within walking distance Mollie.
That was nice for you Hicky. Your dinner ready after a long day.
I had one of my famous casseroles.
Was a bit disappointed today.
I'd bought a CD player on ebay for my system last Monday, so expected it to be here by now, but I got an email from the seller saying he had checked it before he sent it and found it wasn't working, so he was giving me a refund (haven't got it yet). Means I'll have to look for another one.
Mind you, I don't believe a word of it, because the listing said it was in full working order. I bet he found out he could get a lot more than I won it for (ÂĢ15 including p&p), if he put it on a specialist hifi site, and decided to renege on the deal.
Ah well. I enjoy looking for things on ebay anyway. I'll wait till the refund comes through though.
Still haven't got this computer fan either, and that's 10 days since it was posted. Must be coming by canoe from HK.
Watched that drama on BBC1 with Suranne Jones playing a police woman.
Shame about your CD player, he's found a better price than you offered.
The Fan, don't know what has happened.
Saw that Drama, it just happened to be on, didn't go down stairs to change the station over.
I'm not working tomorrow, can have a lie-in.

Replay of Yesterday, weatherwise. Sunny but very frosty.
My computer fan came at last, so I'm back on the main computer, and the temperature is back to normal.
The new fan is a wee bit noisier than the last one, but what can you expect for ÂĢ2?
Had a chicken tikka-masala tonight.
Watching the next part of 'Five Days'.
And Hi to Emptybox.
It seems warm enough here today, not bad anyway.
Glad your fan came, you can get silent fans, but there's quite a range really, noise wise anyway, not sure how you control the noise if you don't either control the speed or the amount of aire moved.
And the speed is usually automatically controlled by the CPU temperature controller, and when you can hear it speed up is usually when the CPU is at 100% of it's processing speed.
I had a rather strange tea last night, I had been to the Post Office with my form for my Passport renewal and I walked past the Butchers, gor a couple of big sausage, 1 Lambs Heart, some Bury black puds, and some bacon ribs.
Made up some stuffing to stuff the Heart, boiled the black pud, roasted the Heart, Sausage, and the stuffing and had some left over mash and cabbage that I fried up, it was all very tasy, O/H had Deep fried Chicken Wings again, she loves them.
Posted off my renewal for my Passport, took a picture in without glasses because I don't like the glare you get most of the time, told the Post Office checker that I hadn't worn glasses on the photo and she said "that's just as well, they aren't allowed anymore", how lucky was that then.
That's all gone off anyway, ÂĢ77.50 for the passport and ÂĢ8 for the P.O.
Coronation Street bad girl Tracy Barlow is so heartless she can cause trouble on the cobbles even from her prison cell.
Sheâs going to frame Gail McIntyre for murder.
Tracy (Kate Ford) is serving 15 years for murdering her (admittedly quite nasty) boyfriend Charlie Stubbs (Bill Ward) in 2007. When Gail (Helen Worth) is remanded over the death of husband Joe (Reece Dinsdale), Tracy strikes a heartless deal with the police: sheâll extract a confession from Gail so that Tracy is free to walk the Street again.
That was a very expensive passport Hicky. Is that what they cost now?
I think mine lasts for another 4 years, so I'd better start saving.
Is it a new biometric one, or haven't they been introduced yet?
Haven't heard about that 'no glasses' rule? My photo has glasses on, cos I wear them most of the time. Hopefully it only applies to new passports?
I don't fancy turning up at the airport and being refused entry or something.
Not that I'm planning to go anywhere, you understand, but you never know when I might turn up at an airport.
Not quite as frosty this morning. It was all away by 11am. But not as sunny either.
Still blooming cold though. I think 3 degrees was the highest temperature during the day.
That ÂĢ77.50 was the standard price for a renewal with ÂĢ8 if the P.O. check it and take your money and send, it's a service you are best advised to take really, they check the photo's as well, and all the Form etc.
Is was worth it to me anyway, If it doesn't pass you still can get the info rechecked again without paying again.
I assume the no glasses only applies to new passports, my O/H has glasses on hers and my old one had glasses on as well.
Can't see the weather improving much this month now.
and it was a long post.
try again.....
Emptybox
what a shame about your cd player, but glad your bargain fan came.
is a tikka massala a hot curry? I only like the weak korma ones, but because they are so fattening, I dont eat them often.
Now you mention it, there are no daffs come out in the gardens yet, which is unusual for this time of year, but I did manage to find a bunch for sale in Asdas. They didn't last long though.
Sounds still very cold up by you, I think it was about 6 degrees here, so felt quite cold.
Hicky
I wonder is that a hat, or a hair band on lady GaGa's head in that pic?
That was a strange tea you had, I couldn't eat a lambs heart though, because they are so cute right now bouncing around in the fields. A friend of mine recently moved not far away, and she too can't eat lamb now she sees them each day. I;d enjoy the cabbage and mash though.
Glad to hear the passport is all sorted, not long till you go away now.
And not long till we go for our Corrie hols to Manchester.
I too didn't know about the no glasses thing.
Thanks for the Corrie news.
She is a right baddie, is that Tracy.
Now I am going to press "post" before someone interrupts me and I forget to post again.
Chicken Tikka Masala seems to vary in heat, depending on who makes it. I have had very mild ones, that are a bit like a korma, but you can get very hot ones as well.
This one was a ready meal that was somewhere in the middle.
I didn't notice Lady Gaga's hat. I was more worried about the eyeballs painted on her eyelids.
She's great fun though.
I hear they are talking about temperatures of minus 20 in the Highland glens tonight, and some more snow.
Much warmer for me though. Only about minus 2.
They seem to of changed the format on this forum, and I had a job finding where we were.
Day off and a lie in for you today Hicky?
Emptybox
they really do seem to have some low temps up there this winter? I wonder if it breaks any cold weather records this year? How is your store of oil going now?
yes ladyGa-Ga is great fun.
It is a lovely sunny day here today, so I have plenty of washing on the line. Will take the dog a walk later to my mums with my son. She needs her tv re-tuning because they have gone digital, so my son will do that.
OH in Surrey today, a round 6 hour trip, then he has a phone interview this afternoon when he gets home. He has never known jobs in his field in such supply as this, and the wage rate has shot down, whilst the number of people going for each job has shot up.
Hope you have a good day all.
It's all just food to me, if I worried about what it looked like running/swimming I'd never eat anything.
Some people won't eat anything that looks the same cooked as it did alive, like a Lobster, so funny, but whatever.
I eat anything because I like variety, it's that simple.
Sometimes pressing post doesn't always do it, on some Forums you may need to press it again, not sure why.
Emptybox.
Never noticed any difference in Chicken Tikka Masala, never had a hot one, it's spicy but not hot, the ones I have had anyway.
Have we got a Multi Quote button now then with this Permalink?
