I think that Katia really isn't as bad as BB or what the main perception is of her tbh, her behaviour about Ronnie has deserved criticism but in terms of in the house about Jonas she did seem not that much interested in him at first but kind of started to warm to him due to the time they spent together but she hasn't been nasty to anyone yet gets all this bile.

I'd get rid of Heidi 1st, out of those 3 nominated.
I would rather Heidi go tbh but we all know how this goes and there is always someone who is the fall guy or girl in this instance.
I think that they would probably want Katia to stay, but they never learn from their mistakes and no way did they want Heidi to go.
A bit of sleet coming down, supposed to be snow at 6pm, but we'll have to see.

Screen funeral planned for Corrie's Blanche
Monday, January 11 2010, 13:35 GMT
By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter
Coronation Street legend Blanche Hunt is to get an on-screen send-off after the much-loved character passes away, it has been announced.
Producers' plans for Blanche had remained uncertain after actress Maggie Jones, who played the Weatherfield battleaxe from 1974, died last month following a period of ill health.
Speaking on This Morning today, the soap's leading producer Kim Crowther confirmed that Blanche will get an on-screen funeral later this year. The occasion will see the comeback of Kate Ford in the role of Blanche's twisted granddaughter Tracy Barlow.
Crowther explained: "Blanche's death seemed the perfect opportunity to introduce [Tracy] back to the show, as she is released from prison especially to attend the funeral and allowed say goodbye to her grandmother. This won't be the last we see of Tracy though - she is set to share a cell with a well-known character - who could it be?"
Blanche's absence from screens has so far been explained by an extended break in Portugal with a friend.
Jones's funeral took place at a church in London on December 15.
Corrie boss promises "hard-hitting" plots
Monday, January 11 2010, 14:24 GMT
By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter
Coronation Street's leading producer Kim Crowther has revealed that viewers can expect a number of "hard-hitting" storylines to air this year.
In an interview with This Morning, Crowther promised that fans would not be disappointed with what is in store for the soap's 50th year on screens.
She explained: "As usual, Corrie will feature some core characters at the centre of the show with some hard-hitting storylines. Lots of the storylines will intertwine, which is something Corrie is very good at. The viewers are in for a treat on our special 50th anniversary year."
Crowther went on to name Peter Barlow, played by Chris Gascoyne, as one character who will face turmoil in 2010, leading to a custody battle for his son Simon (Alex Bain).
"Peter has a lot of demons to fight this year," she confirmed. "He will continue struggling with his alcoholism, but I can reveal that Simon will be taken away from Peter and be placed in the care of grandfather, George. The big question is, will Peter ever get Simon back?"
Last year, Crowther announced that she was to step down from her position on the Weatherfield drama. She will bow out in the second half of the year and be replaced by former Doctor Who series producer Phil Collinson.
TV ratings: Dancing on Ice helps give ITV1 the edge

The launch of series five of Dancing on Ice drew almost 9 million viewers to ITV1 last night, Sunday 10 January.
The talent show â whose celebrity lineup includes Sharron Davies, Bobby Davro and Tana Ramsay â attracted an average of 8.9 million viewers and a 30% share between 6.45pm and 8.30pm, according to unofficial overnight figures.
This was up 500,000 viewers on last year's series opener, although down two share points, reflecting high audience numbers across the board because the current spate of freezing weather kept people indoors.
Last night's audience peaked at 9.5 million between 7.45pm and 8.15pm, while share remained at 32% in the hour from 7pm.
The results show at 9.30pm â in which Sinitta was voted off â drew 7.6 million viewers and a 27% share over half an hour.
In between, African-set drama Wild At Heart returned with a strong audience of 7.8 million viewers and a 26% share.
The three shows put ITV1 comfortably ahead in the ratings, although it was a reasonably good night for BBC1 too.
A new series of period drama Lark Rise to Candleford pulled in 6.8 million viewers and a 23% share in the 8pm hour.
This followed a strong run of ratings, starting with 6.7 million viewers and a 28% share for the BBC news at 5.30pm.
Countryfile pulled in 6.2 million viewers and a 24% share in the 6pm hour, while Antiques Roadshow drew 6.6 million and 23% an hour later.
Detective drama Wallander, starring Kenneth Branagh, picked up 5.1 million viewers and a 19% share over 90 minutes from 9pm, down 300,000 viewers and one share point on last week.
Channel 4's best showing was for Celebrity Big Brother, which drew 2.7 million viewers and a 9% share in the 9pm hour, and another 587,000 an hour later on digital catchup service Channel 4 +1.
However, this was less than half the 5.8 million and 21% that tuned in for the show's launch night the same time the week before.
BBC2's coverage of the British Darts Organisation darts final averaged 3.1 million viewers and an 11% share between 5.45pm and 8.30pm, peaking at 4 million and 13% in the last quarter hour as Martin Adams clinched victory against Dave Chisnall.
A compilation of clips from the last series of Top Gear drew 3 million viewers and a 10% share at 8.30pm, while the documentary the Conspiracy Files: Osama Bin Laden â Dead Or Alive? pulled in 1.8 million and 7% an hour later.
Channel Five's top audience of the night was for the Ice Cube comedy Are We There Yet?, which drew 1.3 million viewers and a 5% share between 5.30pm and 7.25pm.
BBC3's vampire drama Being Human returned for its second series with 1.41 million viewers, a 5.4% share of multichannel homes in the hour from 9.30pm.
It benefited from following the animated film The Incredibles, which drew 1.1 million viewers and a 3.7% share from 7.40pm to 9.30pm.

glad to hear you made it down to the village at last.
It has thawed here, I wonder if that is the end to the cold winter now, now it appears to be hoving just above freezing in most areas?
Darloyboy...
thanks for telling us who is up for eviction.
Don't mind if Katia or Heida go, they don't seem to do much from what i have seen of them on the highlights show.
Hicky..
thanks for the corrie news. Looks like we have some interesting storylines coming up to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
I hope you are enjoying your day off.
I enjoyed DOI.
What a shame she ripped his trousers, she looked so diappointed. Good job it didn't injure him though.
I have been having trouble with my asthma (don't very often).. I think I have not been right since that holiday stomach upset. I am taking the steroid inhaler to try and control it, and I didn't go to bed last night, I just stayed on the chair all night, because lying down makes the coughing worse. As does eating, so yet again, I am hardly eating anything. Good job I have plenty of fat to keep me going.
I think the walk down the seafront in the cold and mist didn't suit me yesterday.
I saw livefeed at 3am, and stephaine and Heidi were having an interesting converstaion about "Pamie". I think it must of been Pam Anderson, because they said they had expected she might go in the house. I heard them say how nice Pamie was, and how she was a natural beauty.
My mum's landlord has decided he wants to put her bungalow up for sale, so she now has 2 months notice to find somewhere else. I could of done without all this extra stress, it is difficult trying to find a bungalow to let, for an elderly lady.
I would think the conrast between the cold outside, and the warm inside, would not do it any good?
Hope you can find another bungalow for your Mum.
It seems a bit mean just giving her 2 months notice. I know that's probably all they're required to do under the lease, but given her age they could have given her 6 months warning. I doubt they just decided to sell on a whim?
It's certainly not what you need at the moment.
I got to my dentists appointment OK, but the usual carpark hadn't been cleared of snow, so i had to park further away in a supermarket carpark and only just got in the door of the surgery when they called my name. Didn't need anything done though.
The roads were fine, but the pavements were treacherous.
We haven't had any more snow, but I don't think it was as warm today as yesterday, so not much more has thawed.
I'm having the cough trouble the same as you, it's fine till I lie down, and in the morning I had to get up really as tthe coughing stops me getting comfy.
Been repairing my Safety glasses again, the other side has broke.
Supported the pices with blue tack then got a couple of bits of strong wire to help support the join, like a splint, and then mixed the resin and hardener and bobs your uncle.
Had 3 soft boiled eggs for brekkie with a couple of rounds of toast.
It's not very nice for your mum to have to move, or you either.
Was sorry to see Sinitta go out of the DOI, why did they leave the stupid from lift in when she couldn't do it?
The should have changed to an easier lift.
Simon won't be pleased at all.
Well that's the first cup, will need another I suppose, it's supposed to loosen the phlegm on you chest, loosen, I'll have it dancing.
You'll forget all about your cough.
Not much on telly tonight apart from CBB.
When's the first eviction?
As they nominated at the weekend, I presume it's before Friday?

Had 2 cups so far.
Watching Hells Kitchen USA.
Weather has changed, the 7 day forecast has been drastically revised.
It's now Freezing Fog for tonight, with zero degrees.
Tomorrow it's -1 and so-on for a few days.

It's 18.5 in the office which is OK.
I can test all the mains plugs in the wall without getting up, that's handy.
I'll check everything that doesn't move before I go home.
Haven't seen last night, went to bed, it's too late if you have to get up.
Then Heavy Rain on Friday, well that's something to look forward to, I don't think.

hope the check up at the dentist went ok.
Don't know if you saw it, but if you didn't, Paul Merton in Europe was on at 9pm on channel 5,.It is on every week for a while now, and it looks like a good series, last nights was well funny.

Sorry to hear the cough is bothering you too.
That is the trouble with these coughs, they always seem worse at night when you are lying down.Do you think your whisky drink helped you? I slept in the chair again last night. Luckily they are recliner chairs that we have.
Hope your cough doesnt mean you are too tired at work today.
I bet they have fun playing with your digital thermometer there.
We have got rain predicted here too now.
Darloboy
how is the new term at college going?
Who is your fave on CBB so far?
I still have a horrible cough, but feel a bit better than yesterday. And at least I have been able to eat something today.
Was still bothered in bed with the coughing, had to keep getting up, have to get some cough mixture.
Not sure if my medicine works, think the problem is too rooted now.
I could tell the losses in the canteen with my thermometer, because they don't have double glazed windows and the windows fill the whole wall, the walls are very high and all the heat is just going straight ouside.
The floor temp was 17.5 as was quite a few things, but the windows were 9.5 deg, so the heat is going straight through.
The window in the office is 21 deg, but it's not going outside except into the factory.
The temperature in the factory is about 19 deg, pretty warm really for a massive plant.
Corrie plot "bears no resemblance" to McCann case
Tuesday, January 12 2010, 12:18 GMT
By Kris Green, Soaps Editor and Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter
Coronation Street's forthcoming child disappearance plot "bears absolutely no resemblance" to the Madeleine McCann tragedy three years ago, a show source has confirmed to Digital Spy.
Earlier today, it emerged that Peter Barlow's (Chris Gascoyne) 6-year-old son Simon, played by Alex Bain, will go missing in Blackpool later this year, sparking fears that he has been snatched.
The incident will occur when Simon's grandfather George (Anthony Valentine) takes him on holiday to the seaside resort after becoming convinced that his alcoholic father Peter is an unfit parent.
However, while taking a stroll on Blackpool promenade, George and his wife Eve (Sabina Franklyn) take their eyes off Simon for a short amount of time and soon discover that he has vanished. Police are then called to investigate the matter.
A tabloid newspaper today compared the storyline to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, who vanished from a holiday apartment in the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz in May 2007 while her parents dined at a nearby restaurant.
However, a Coronation Street source this morning told DS: "The upcoming Barlow story bears no resemblance whatsoever to the Madeleine McCann tragedy three years ago.
"The viewer will see Simon walk off on his own and there is a big search for him which is obviously distressing for his family - but the situation is resolved quite quickly."
At the time of the McCann incident, producers at the ITV soap took the decision to drop its baby abduction plot, which would have seen Freddie Peacock snatched from the family home by Claire and Ashley's mentally unstable friend Casey Carswell.
Following a review, show bosses rewrote and re-filmed some aspects of the story in order not to distress the McCann family. The resulting rewrite saw baby Freddie go missing following a fire at the Peacocks' and later turn up at the local park.
The Weatherfield source added: "It was the right decision three years ago not to run with the Peacock storyline because it was so similar to those events in Portugal."
Several weeks after Madeleine's disappearance, BBC soap EastEnders decided to pull its baby abduction story, opting to "substantially rewrite" and re-film the climax to the penultimate chapter of Dawn Swann and Dr May Wright's story.
The plot would have seen May run off with Dawn's baby shortly after her birth. Instead, May tried and failed to persuade Dawn to hand over the newborn before being arrested and ultimately sectioned.
Kym Marsh adopts puppy
Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has come to the rescue of a puppy named Oliver after seeing an appeal for him to be re-homed on the TV programme This Morning.
Kym fell in love with Oliver, whoâs a twelve-week-old retriever cross, the minute she spotted him on the show which was featuring dogs abandoned over the Christmas period. Kym said âI was off work and we were watching the show and I felt so sorry for all the dogs, but little Oliver walked on and looked so chilled in the studio, he just melted our heartsâ. Oliver was found in a box by the bins outside a pet shop in Surrey just after Christmas and was taken to Chobhamâs Millbrook Animal Centre.
Major trouble in store for Gail McIntyre
There's trouble ahead for Gail, but then again, when isn't there?
Not only is it rumoured that she'll go to prison after being falsely accused of murdering Joe next month, but The Daily Star reports today that Gail will be banned from attending Joe's funeral.
The paper says that fans will see Joe, who married Gail on Corrie last week, get killed while out sailing on Lake Windermere after a plan to fake his own death backfires. Not only do the cops think Gail's done her husband in as part of an insurance scam but even Tina tells Gail: âI think youâre lying about how my dad died. I think youâre playing games with the police and with me, so I donât want you at his funeral. You stay away.â Oh dear.
Corry's 'Tracy' back for Blanche's funeral
12/01/2010 - 11:23:18Tracy Barlow will return to âCoronation Streetâ for Blanche Huntâs funeral.
The soap murderess will be released from prison and appear back in Weatherfield for her grandmother, Blancheâs, send off.
The plot twist comes after Maggie Jones, who played much loved battleaxe Blanche, died aged 75 last December after a period of illness. Her death was unforeseen and she had to be written out of the show.
âCoronation Streetâ producer Kim Crowther said: âBlancheâs death seemed the perfect opportunity to introduce Tracy back. She is released from prison especially to attend the funeral.
âThe funeral itself will give a chance for our characters will say goodbye, it will be touching and moving.â
The return of controversial character Tracy, played by actress Kate Ford, was announced earlier this month.
It is rumoured she will have an affair with one of the showâs prominent characters from behind bars before making a full return to the soap ahead of its 50th anniversary show later this year.
Tracy is presently serving a 15-year sentence after being found guilty of killing her violent boyfriend Charlie Stubbs (Bill Ward).
She also has a daughter, Amy with now happily married landlord Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) in the show.

Sources claimed that ITV chairman Archie Norman is in talks with Media-CityUK about a possible move to the ÂĢ600m development in Salford Quays.
The proposals would see the cobbled streets of Weatherfield demolished and rebuilt at the new location.
MediaCityUK chairman Bryan Gray told Media Guardian: "We've offered space to ITV. They have a particular requirement, ie, Coronation Street. We've offered them a package.
"We had some quite detailed discussions but they came to a halt with the management of ITV changing.
"Since the appointment of Archie Norman as chairman and John Cresswell as acting chief executive, we've started discussions with ITV again."
ITV bosses have insisted that the Corrie set will not be torn down.
A spokesman told the Daily Star: "The Peel Group has been in contact with ITV and discussions have taken place. But Coronation Street will not be demolished."
Hope your coughs get better Mollie and hicky.
I didn't remember to watch that Paul Merton programme Mollie. Might see if I can find it on the CH5 site.
ETA: I just watched it on Demand Five. It was funny in parts. Specially when he was in the beer bath.
You still seem to be getting endless fun from that laser thermometer Hicky.
Might see if I can get one myself?
Things are still thawing here. We had a bit of rain earlier.
Walking outside my front door is quite tracherous because there's now water on top of ice and compressed snow.
Also i notice that all the guttering is filled with ice, so the snow from the roof can't run away properly as it melts. I hope the ice melts quickly before it does any damage,
I don't cough a lot during the day, it's just at night.
Still thawing here though.
The forecast says snow, looks unlikely though, we'll see.
Very slippy underfoot here as well.
I think you'd have some fun with the Laser Thermometer, don't cost the earth and it can tell you an amazing lot of info.
You will be able to see where your heat losses are, and even the difference that wallpaper makes on outside walls, and the temperature of the glass in the windows.
Hicky..
hope you got some sleep with the cough.
Mine is still driving me round the bend, hardly got any sleep at all. Stayed in the chair all night again.
Emptybox
I think you would enjoy a digital thermometer.
Do you still have snow lying round there?
We had a fall of about 4 inches last night.
All schools are closed, and my kids get another day off college.
Typical now I don't feel up to going out with the dog, we finally get a good snowfall.
I don't understand or like how some of those HM's are being so nasty about poor Nicola. eg.. Katia saying she was the sort of girl who would of bullied her at school?? And Stephen is so nasty about her. I don't think he liked the way she stood up to him. Good for her to have the courage to do so, when she was right. From what I have seen, Nicola hasn.t moaned or had a bad word to say about anyone.
Was doing a lot of coughing last night, it stopped about 5am and I slept a lot better.
There was light snow here at 5am as forecast, only an inch but it's till snowing.
I've got to get the car serviced and MOT'd and get it taxed.
It's a shame about Nicola, she's lovely really.
It says put the green and gray out as the brown(garden waste) won't be collected till the 25th.
Don't forget CBB on at 8pm and 'Slumdog Millionaire' on at 9pm.
Not to be missed.
I still don't know when i'm working again, so I can't book my car in for the Service & MOT.
Hi everyone,
I hope you're all coping with the snow. It'll take me till the weekend tp catch up with events on the Hicky thread. Get Well Soon to those not feeling too good.
Hope you are OK.
I'm feeling a bit better tonight, hope my cough keeps off while I try and get some sleep.
I'm not eating the usual, just snacking as you do when unwell.
Just watching 'Slumdog Millionaire'
Boldjohn
nice to see you call in.
Hope you are well. Have you had much snow?
Hicky..
sorry to hear the cough is still disturbing your sleep, and putting you off your food. I too am off my food, can only manage small snacks, now and again. Let's hope we can get a bit of sleep tonight, it is so horrible when it wakes you at night.
Yes Hicky.. I agree, Nicola is a lovely girl, she tries hard to get on with all the HM's.
Thanks for the CBB reminder, I am glad it was on a lot earlier tonight. And thanks for all the interesting Corrie news.
No bed for me again tonight, will just get my quilt and pillow on the chair in the lounge, then I can turn livefeed on when the coughing wakes me.
Goodnight all
if you call in later Emptybox.. I hope you have had a good day.
Well I watched CBB and am now watching Slumdog.
Hadn't seen it before.
Just a few flakes of snow here today, along with some sleet. But there's still a lot lying.
Hope your coughs improve.
I think we are in agreement about CBB now, cos Nicola is my favourite now as well.
I've spent most of today (and yesterday as well) installing Windows 7 on one of my PCs. I already had the free version on it, but I decided to install the full retail version, and concentrate on that rather than XP.
I'd already bought the copy of Win 7 a while ago, but was swithering as to wether it was worthwhile putting it on the PC, but decided I might as well.
It only takes 20 minutes to install, but it's getting all the other little programmes on and working that takes the time.
Hope that nasty cough is easing Mollie, you must be fed up with sleeping in the armchair.
I had a better night, strange when I hardly cough during the day.
But I have to hold my stomach when I cough, it is very painful, it's as if I am pulling on my internal operation and ripping it apart.
Hope I haven't done any damage, can't think what else would hurt when I cough.

Glad you had a better night Hicky. I did too, because I only woke a few times compared to the night before. Today, the cough has eased a little, but has now developed into a runny nose and headache too.
Sorry to hear you are finding it very painfull when you cough. I too find it painfull round the ribs when I cough now. I think it is muscles that we dont normally use, that have got pulled from the strong coughing. Hopefully, you wont have done yourself any bad damage, because if you had fractured a rib, or damaged an organ, I would of thought It would of hurt constantly not just when you coughed. I hope this coughing eases for you tonight. Maybe it would help, if like me, you didn't lie fully down, but just propped yourself up a bit?
Emptybox
Hope you sorted out the windows 7 ok.
My OH bought the disc, then he lost it, before he used it. Thinks he may of accidently binned it.
How funny that all 3 of us are in agreement about our fave on CBB. I dont think that has happened since we first met back in the Chantelle days.
I have noticed how pleasant Nicola is to everyone when I catch the livefeed in the day, and if there is a hint of trouble, she never tries to stir things up. But I also liked to see that bit of spirit she showed in the way she stood up to Stephen, because she made her point, but made her point in a calm and ladylike way.
I do not like Katia at all though, after she said about Nicola being the type of girl who bullied her at school. She had no reason to say that.
I also don't like Stephen... "evil..beware the ides of Nicki??"
Oh and I don't like Vinnie either.
I am surprised how much I like Irvana, and I like Stephanie.
I am watching a show about the Borders right now.
On BBC2 "Great British Railway Journeys".
tough place for fearsome people, with plenty of past battles and feuds they said ... but fun too.
Maybe you can catch it on iplayer if you missed it?
Glad you got out and about, and enjoyed a bit of cake too today.
If it is work tommorrow, I hope you don't miss out on your sleep tonight.
I am stil not eating much, but I told OH to get me a blueberry muffin for lunch when he went to Asda, and I enjoyed that because it was tasty and light.
I made 2 salmon sandwiches for my dinner, but only managed to eat one of them... not like me normally.
