Oh dear, sorry your shopping trip ended up not even supplying you with your staples, after all your efforts just to get there and back.
Some people must be stockpiling or something like that for the shops to run out of  bread and milk like that.

I've heard that you can put a few litres of petrol with each tank of diesel to stop/slow down the gelling of the diesel when the temperature gets below -10 degrees.
Talking to a chap in the Landrover factory today, he said he'd put 8 litres of petrol in and filled the tank up with diesel.
He never noticed the difference.

Stacey being a big girl is bound to have fairly big feet otherwise she would probably fall over.
She is probably at least size 7 to 8.

We are going to see Les Miserables in Cardiff Bay this afternoon. Luckily we bought the tickets ages ago, before OH lost his job, so at least it is like a free day out for us now.   It is very popular, they sold all the tickets some time ago.

Just had Firefox update itself to v 3.5.7 but it didn't ask permission to go on the web so it can't.
Bit of a blow as it had about 20 windows, if I used tabs it took too much CPU up.

Now I have just got about 14 tabs on IE, but I don't run Flash on IE because it srews it up.

Firefox did the same at work last week as well.

I'll see if I can remove it again and reinstall.

Was watching CBB recordings but some of the gang came, will have to wait now.

Well that forecast site was right. It was down to -12 again here last night.
Not nearly so cold now though.
It's snowing heavily here at the mo. Not sure if there's enough to keep me from my appointment on Monday? I'll make a judgement about that on the day.

No postie again.  I might have to wait weeks for my post.
Wonder if there's somewhere I can go to collect it? Mind you, it's difficult enough for me to get out at the mo.
They've done away with the post office in the local village, otherwise I could have walked to that to collect.

The cottage does look pretty. I agree Mollie. But all this snow is begining to pee me off now.
I can't stand it being soo difficult for me to get out anywhere.

Haven't tried the choccy milk yet. I had muesli this morning, so I used some ordinary milk, but I'm down to my last bottle of that, so it'll have to be the choccy soya stuff tomorrow.

Your Firefox problem sounds similar to the problem I had when I tried to install Google Chrome a while back. I just could not get it to connect to the internet. I tried making sure the exe file had permission in my firewall, but to no avail, so i abandoned it.

The only one I dislike at this stage really is Stephen Baldwin. And that's because he keeps pushing his fundementalist views.

I just put another batch of Mollie's crumble in the oven.
This time I made it with raspberries, so I don't know how it'll turn out.
I only had 160g of raspberries, so made half the amount of the usual crumble mix.
Looking forward to having it with my supper.

I couldn't get any mince yesterday, so can't have my usual Spag Bol tonight.
I think I'll still have the spaghetti, but make it with tiger prawns instead?

It's really annoying when he keeps doing that with his preaching, the guy is nuts.

Am going to reboot Puter to see if it helps sort the problem.
If it doesn't i'll put Avast on and get rid of Livecare and let Windows look after the Firewall.

Was making some Brandy Snaps before, not too bad, but they must use a special oven not a normal one.

They have the temperature on the expanding toffee even, couldn't get that.
They aren't too bad though, but too much messing and too slow as you can only make a couple at a time.

Went out for a paper and a spin in the car, not a lot of fun, it's pretty well clear on the main road, it's thick ice on my road though.

Just watching the midday CBB live feed.
Watched the overnight one.
Not bad really.

Don't think much of Ivana, can't see wha she'll bring to the show.

Can't see anyone missing Heidi, all she does is sleep, she's dreadful.

Loving similar to Darloboy, Sov, Jonas, Sisqo, Katia,  but I like Nicola as well.

What happened to the lips, Heidi has the same trouble as that other feller the other year.

Well, I got Firefox to work again, it was the Windows live OneCare that had froze, not a nice thing.
When I rebooted it came up and siad it was out of date.
Anyway it updated in a split sec and when I ran the new firefox version 3.5.7 it asked for permission as usual.


Doesn't Heidi look a mess walking round, I thought she was going to walk anyway?

Just made a nice soup, used a cottage pie veg mix, with a few flavour pills and added a bit of a left over chicken, it turned out very nice anyway.

Been watching, 'So you think you can Dance', amazing dancers as well.

Ivana gets mosquito net for bedroom

New arrival Ivana Trump has been given a mosquito net to go over her bed.

According to The Sun, Ivana demanded the net from Big Brother producers, claiming that it is to protect her from flies.

But the tabloid claims that the real reason is because she is afraid of appearing on television without her make-up on.

A source is reported as saying: "We told her this is Elstree in January, not the Caribbean.

"She wants some time in the mornings to put her make-up on before she faces the cameras."

The only problem is importing the Mosquito's from another country, she didn't say how many she wants to be protected from?

Yeah I like Nicola and Stephanie at the mo.
And Vinnie can be quite funny.

My spaghetti was a success.
I fried a clove of garlic in olive oil, added some spring onions and tomatoes and some dried basil and a little chilli powder. then I added the tiger prawns and a couple of chopped up mushrooms. When it was nearly ready I added a bit of single cream and just brought it to the boil. Then I served it on top of the spaghetti which had been cooking at the same time. It was really nice.

The raspberry crumble was nice too, but a bit over-done.
I posted on here that I had put it in the oven, but then I forgot about it, so it got nearly an hour instead of half an hour.  
Wasn't too bad though.

Hope Mollie enjoyed her show.

Raspberry Crumble, that sounds tasty Emptybox even though i've never tried it. I love Banana Cake lol, did that while I was doing my Food Technology GCSE and make it at home.

Glad to hear your Saturday dinner came out well, despite the fact you weren't able to buy your usual ingredients. Glad the crumble came out ok with raspberries. I bought some blueberries today, to make the crumble.
It sounds like the cold spell is over now, so hopefully you will be able to get out and about again soon.

The Les Miserables show was really good, thanks. Very elaborate, and professionally done,  with a big cast. The theatre was full too.

I like Nicola too.   She is friendly with everyone,and seems interested in knowing about them all. She is even patient with Stephen, and I love some of the funny things she comes out with. I thought it was so funny when they were admiring Sisqo in the mankinie ..."that;s a big one " she whispered to Sov.   I rewound to check what she had said.  
And I like Sisqo too, I think he has a nice sense of humour.
Not keen on seeing this "romance" stuff all the time though.

It's been thawing here as well. There's still snow everywhere, but water dripping from the roof, and the snow has gone from the tree branches.

I got down to the village to get my papers, and also some milk. I even got a postal delivery.
Don't think I've ever had post on a Sunday before? Not for many many years anyway.
So it's looking good for me keeping my appointment tomorrow morning.  Not that I'm looking forward to a dental appointment, although it's just a check-up.

There seems to be a bit of snow forecast here for Tuesday and Wednesday, but I think tomorrow is clear.
