Hi Hicky nothing exciting going on in my life, this is as exciting as it gets for me coming on the forum which I love lol I am looking forward to IACGMOOH I loved Katie price the last time she was on celebrity, it could go in her favour this time or go badly wrong, but hey for that kind of money she is being offered you cant blame her my dinner is ready will pop in later, have a lovely couple of days off from work
I think we should be in for a treat with Jordan, she is game for a laugh anyway.
I don't expect to know the others, but it's always good.
They will all be miffed if Jordan gets paid all that, but it could be made up, she might be getting the same as the others.
We'll never know really.
The papers don't print the truth, they print news, and the truth isn't usually very exciting.
Hicky
Good evening all
Hicky... oh dear that was not fun, the day you overslept.  that is the troube when you go in at that time, the traffic has built up.
Is your hd box still playing up? That is annoying if you can't hear your programmes.
Thanks for all the interesting news items.
Looking forward to IACGMOH.

Marguerita
hope you are well.

it is pouring down with rain here tonight.

Had a busy day, took daughter to guitar lesson, then had to take kids to college, both at different times, because OH was taking his exam.He passed, , which is great, because not only does he not have to pay out for it again, but he can put it on his cv, and it is hell out there now looking for a job.

i am going to watch The family tonight, I really enjoyed it last week.

Emptybox... did you do some gardening today?  Or was it too wet?

This may not be the final list of people, probably not.

Hi Mollie.
I've posted a topic on DS in the Sky Technical section.
I'll wait and see if I get a reply.
It's only 1 station, which seems crazy really.

IAC should be good, always look forward to it.

You've been busy as well, glad you O/H passed, it's always handy to have extra items on your CV.

Hope he gets work soon anyway as it's coming up to Christmas.

Think I must have forgotten to call in Yesterday.

Been wet here the last couple of days, but I've had loads of paperwork to do.

Well done to your OH Mollie.

I feel so sorry for Lucie, she's tied up with X-Factor till March 2010, so can't really take any of the work offered on, and she has plenty.

So there is life after X Factor! Lucie Jones sings first gig since  shock exit from show (in, umm, Stockport)

By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 11:17 AM on 12th November 2009

X Factor star Lucie Jones has been offered record deals, a Hollywood film role and a part in a West End musical - but the TV show's bosses won't let her accept them.

The 18-year-old singer is at the centre of a battle between her agent and Simon Cowell's high-powered X Factor management team.

The Welsh wonder has been flooded with offers since she was axed from the show last week after Cowell backed tone-deaf twins John and Edward, also 18.

But last night she temporarily forgot her troubles as she sang to a crowd in Stockport, where she was turning on the Christmas lights.

The show must go on: Lucie Jones still has the X Factor in Stockport last night

 Lucie Jones

Singing sensation: Lucie has been inundated with offers but is obliged to turn them down as she is under contract with the ITV show until 2010

She was greeted by hundreds of cheering fans and gave them a blast of the amazing voice that she displayed on the reality show.

Former barmaid Lucie, from Cardif has been offered a couple of record deals, a lead role in a new BBC TV drama, a chance to audition for a Hollywood film as well as a role in a West End musical.

She is said to be 'gutted' after being forced to turn them down - because she is under a strict contract with the X Factor until March 2010.

Lucie's agent Leigh-Ann Regan - who discovered her when she was a schoolgirl - is now in negotiations with ITV to see if she can loosen the strict terms of her contract.

This year’s I’m A Celebrityâ€Ķ stars revealed

Thursday 12 November, 2009

There’s two glamour models, an ex-EastEnder, a snooker pro and a Mis-Teeq singer! Find out who will be joining them here

Yes, it's that time of year again. ITV's reality show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is back for another season with a brand new line-up.

Glamour girl Samantha Fox will join Katie Price, aka Jordan, (who will be the first ever person to re-enter the jungle), as well as interior design-duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan and ex EastEnder's actress Lucy Benjamin, for the three week stint in the Australian jungle.

Also appearing on the show will be Mis-Teeq singer Samantha Washington, Strictly Come Dancing winner Camilla Dallerup, How Clean Is Your Home presenter Kim Woodburn and snooker ace Jimmy White.

Ex-Hollyoaks star Stuart Manning, Gino D'Acampo and American actor George Hamilton will also make up the 11-strong group.

Ant and Dec will, once again, be on hand to take the contestants through a number of gruelling bushtucker trials, which ITV have warned will be harder than ever this year.

Each star will no doubt be vying for public votes to be crowned I'm A Celeb winner, just like previous winners Joe Swash from last year's show, Kerry Katona from 2004 and Matt Willis in 2006.

Peter Andre pulls out of 'I'm A Celebrity...'

Peter Andre has pulled out of covering 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' for 'This Morning' over rumours his ex-wife Katie Price is taking part.

12 November 2009 12:00 PM

136731 Peter Andre pulls out of 'I'm A Celebrity...'

Peter Andre infuriated his bosses at 'This Morning' after pulling out of covering 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' for them because of ex-wife Katie Price.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer had been due to fly out to Australia to report on the reality show for three weeks as part of his new role on the ITV morning programme.

However, he has now pulled out over suggestions Katie - also known as Jordan - is to enter the Australian outback.

He has reportedly told bosses it would be "totally improper" for him to appear.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Pete was really looking forward to going back to the jungle but as soon as he found out that Katie was going to appear, he said there was no chance in hell he would go.

"Pete reckons there's no way he could speculate on Katie's antics and any outback flirtations in an unbiased way.

"'This Morning' executives are livid and have done all they can to change his mind but Pete refuses to back down."

Peter - who originally met Katie when they both appeared on the show in 2004 - will now stay in the UK and look after the three children the couple raise together.

Although the glamour model hasn't been confirmed in the show's official line-up, it is thought she will enter the jungle a week after the other contestants.

'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' starts on Sunday (15.11.09) on ITV1 at 9pm.

I’m A Celebrity 2009: Camilla Dallerup won’t go naked

camilladallerup

Camilla Dallerup has insisted that she will not shower naked on I’m A Celebrity but she may provide us with some cracking bikini shots.

“Myleene looked fantastic and I think she did come across so lovely on the show. I think it is important to get a bikini because I certainly will not be showering naked,” she said.

“I shall find one that doesn’t fall down when you’re showering. But, I have heard that the water is quite cold.”

Dallrup also admitted that she hopes to wile away some of the hours in jungle camp, by organising a dance competition for the celebrities.

AlexAndre

PETER Andre is planning his first serious date since his split from ex Jordan - with X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

Pete, 36, hopes to win the 21-year-old's affections by cooking her a romantic dinner at a secret location this weekend.

The dad of two has spent the week researching recipes to impress the stunning pop star.

Pete told a friend: "I think she's really cool. She's seriously hot and once I've cooked for her, she won't be able to resist."

The couple first met on Tuesday last week when Pete was a guest host on Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show and had to interview the singer.

They hit it off immediately, exchanging numbers after the programme - and they have been texting each other non-stop ever since.

A source close to the couple said: "Pete and Alex definitely have the hots for each other and things are gathering pace between them.

Suggestive

"Pete is finally beginning to feel like the time is right to start dating again.

"He was knocked sideways when he was chatting to Alex on TV last week. He loved her personality and thought she was seriously hot."

The insider added: "They have been in non-stop text contact since, flirting with each other over the phone.

"It has been getting pretty suggestive with Pete's plan to impress her in the kitchen.

"He has even tapped up some friends for a Jamaican recipe to get her sizzling this weekend."

Pete and Jordan, who have two kids together - Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii - split in May this year and divorced in September.

Pete is also "dad" to Jordan's son Harvey, seven, by footballer Dwight Yorke. He has refused to reveal the specific reason for ending their 3Â―-year marriage.

But their ITV2 reality series showed footage of the bitter final argument in Los Angeles where he walked out.

Compliments

The couple first fell for each other in Australia's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here jungle in 2004 - where model Jordan, 31, is about to return for another series.

Alex won last year's X Factor and has gone on to establish herself as a chart-topper, hitting No1 with singles Hallelujah and Bad Boys.

Embrace .... Pete even got a hug
Embrace .... Pete even got a hug

She was romantically linked to Gavin And Stacey funnyman James Corden after he bought her a ÂĢ4,000 Cartier watch.

Alex also briefly dated American music producer Cameron Quincy Jagher in the summer.

Pals say Alex made the first move on Pete after the show by sending him a text with compliments about his latest album Revelations - which has sold 390,000 copies.

The pair have even discussed recording a track together.

A pal of Pete's told The Sun: "Alex was the one who broke the ice first. She was really complimentary about Pete's album.

"He thought it was really sweet and saw it as a green light to start flirting back. They have a lot in common and get on like a house on fire."

Good Afternoon Marguerita & Grannyg.

Peter didn't think he could give an unbiased opinion when trying to do the job he was given with Katie going to be in the Jungle as a contestant.

He will be happy with the Children, but if he went as well who would have looked after them.

Katie would do anything to be on our  screens more than Pete.

Went shopping this afternoon for a bit.
Got some lovely grub.
Loads of Sushi and seafood salad, samosa's, meals for a few days, put in freezer for now.

Taking one of my lads O/H with a little 3 yr old lad to the doctors in the morning, they have to be there before 9, so i'll be up and out early.

Coronation Street’s Vera, Liz Dawn, thanks doctors for saving her life

Liz Dawn [Bigpicturesphoto.com)

Coronation Street star Liz Dawn has thanked doctors in Manchester for saving her life as she opened a research unit for patients with lung diseases.

The veteran actress, who played Vera Duckworth in the soap, said she owes her life to staff at Wythenshawe Hospital, where she unveiled the ÂĢ3.4m centre.

Dawn was diagnosed with emphysema in 2004, but she thought the symptoms were just asthma until she paid a visit to the hospital.

She reserved particular praise for Professor Ashley Woodcock, who helped her on the road to recovery.

"I only had a third of my lungs working when I first came here. I was in a bad way and I had pneumonia twice.

"Professor Woodcock - who is here today - I feel as if he saved my life because I hadn't been taking the proper medication and I've been coming in here to see him ever since. I feel as if my life's begun, I've got my life back."

The centre will offer new treatments and diagnostic tests for people who have lung diseases.

Hi Hicky, Grannyg, Margeurita.

Hope you enjoy all your seafood Hicky.

Was a lovely morning here, but the rain came in by the afternoon.

Blimey! Things don't half change when you reach 50. I got a letter today from the NHS that contained a kit that allowed you to send faecal samples back in the post to screen for bowel cancer.
Seemingly everybody over 50 does this test every 2 years? Never heard of it before?

I suppose I might as well do the test? Can't do any harm. Bit scary though.

I see nobody had a clue about your Sky sound issue Hicky.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

I quite like the Sushi snack, it's more filling than you think.
Had some smoked salmon thingies filled with a nice soft flavoured cheese, very tasty.

I had that kit last year, think it's fairly new out.
Best to complete it though, better safe than sorry.
Early detection these days of most things is vital, and your body can change without you knowing, thats the problem.

I haven't had an answer as you say on the Sky 109 problem, was going to reset the Sky box again, but it was recording so didn't want to turn it off.

Haven't had anyone on my new thread on Gaga, its the 'I'm a Celebrity get me out of Here' one, put it in the 'UK TV Fans', 'Reality Shows' Forum but had no-one in yet, mind you the show doesn't start till Sunday night at 9pm but I thought maybe someone had something to say.

Maybe I should have opened the thread somewhere else?
It's here anyway.

Marg

Marg
I havent had any trouble here today, are you using firefox?

Hicky...
hope the doc sorted the little one out ok, and your chauffering went ok for him and his mom. I'd forgotten it was Friday 13th today.

Just come back from Sainsburys, we got the 3D glasses from there, so we can all watch Derren Brown in 3D. The kids like him, they went to see him when he came to Cardiff.

Dont think they have progressed much because they are only thin carboard, with a thin piece of plastic. Should be a bit of fun though.
I have just seen the c4 ad, and it says it is 3D week, all next week on C4, so there should be a few 3D programmes on.

Hi Mollie.

Had to take the little one and his mum for a blood test, had no idea where it was but put the address into the Sat Nav and it took me right to the door.

Only another week and a few hours before I go to London to see the show.

I saw Diana and 2 co-stars on Sky1 this afternoon, lovely seeing her again.
The 'Angela & Friends' show is on every day now, with many guests.

Hi everyone, I hope you're all loving the weekend weather. Time for some digging Ian!! Great news about the visit of Aisleyne to Live Cloud. I can't miss that. Hopefully others will follow. I'd also love to chat to Chanelle Hayes, Michelle Bass, Rachel Rice or Craig Phillips.
Hi John
Nice to see you again.
Hope you are keeping well these days.

It would be nice to have a few Celebs posting on here, but they tend to get treated very badly by the few of non fans, which is a shame really.

With IACGMOOH starting on Sunday and CBB starting in Jan there should be plenty to talk about, and of course SCD & X-F and doesn't DOI start soon?

Wow, just had one of those internal server errors.

Anyway life goes on.

I've got 3 little ones here with me for company again.

Corrie's Tony: 'Canal stunt was difficult'

Corrie's Tony: 'Canal stunt was difficult'

Coronation Street actor Gray O'Brien has admitted that he found it difficult to film his character's dramatic canal scenes.

The soap star's murderous alter ego Tony Gordon ends up in the Weatherfield canal with Roy Cropper (David Neilson) next week following an after-dark confrontation between the pair.

O'Brien told The Paul O'Grady Show: "I'm not a great swimmer. You were standing in silt and you couldn't move. They were saying, 'Just pretend to swim'. I couldn't actually move my legs. I was glued!

"But we did the underwater stuff up at Fleetwood in a four-metre tank, and four metres is double the depth of an ordinary pool. Your ears go when you touch the bottom and stuff. I found it very difficult."

He added: "I have to say that David Neilson was absolutely brilliant. [But] I found it really difficult to hold my breath underwater."

Strait-laced cafÃĐ owner Roy has been aware of Tony's involvement in the murder of Liam Connor (Rob James-Collier) since last month.

Neilson recently told DS that the stunt filming "wasn't scary because it's all very controlled".
