Hi.
emptybox
sounds like your mower needs an mot
this lace has been empty lately, I'm thinking it's because it's summer, just wait till it's november or whenever it gets cold, this place will be packed out.
Hi Kev.
The summer is well and truly over here.
It's positively chilly.
They are talking about a grass frost on Friday morning.

Hi all sorry for absence, been over on the BB board as it was so near to finals night and also finding my way round LiveCloud where I am quit enjoying myself!!
Emptybox, have sent you a buddy request and would be only too happy to help you if needed, pop into my very pink site and say hello and I'll give you some pointers.
I just basically jumped in and wrote on a few peoples walls, wrote a couple of blogs, because it was so quiet over here and got chatting in a place called the sinking ship although once the forums are up and running won't spend much time there.
Downloaded Google chrome and finding it such a difference, I can keep open pages I use all the time and just quickly move from one to the other. It makes life easier on here especially when I am trying to go to photobucket to get my icons etc
Hope everyone is well and I'm really pleased to see everybody still here, hope this goes across to LiveCloud, still Lori reckons everything will including post counts and I am quite proud of mine, so wouldn't want to start from zero again!!
Take care all and will be posting more tomorrow

Hi Pinkbabe.
I've accepted you as a buddy over there, and I'll ask if I get into problems.
I'm usually pretty good with forums etc, so I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
It's just that I'm looking at these things with only half an eye at the moment, if you know what I mean.

Absolutely understand that Emptybox, will be only too glad to help if needed, not perfect on it, but certainly a lot better and a lot happier with it than this time last week.
Night to you as well
Good Morning Everyone.
Hi Emptybox.
If you have black smoke from your Mower it could be a few things, but if it was the air filter don't think the engine would run, if you put the choke on while it's running it just stops, it can't run without the air once it's hot.
Black smoke could be oil burning, like your oil ring has gone on the piston and the oil is getting into the combustion chamber and causing the smoke.
Hi PinkBabe.
Don't understand what you mean with the open pages on Chrome, you can have as many open pages as you want on IE & Firefox, they are just 'Tabs', I have 12 open on IE and about 6 open on Firefox all the time.
Will go see if there's any news about today.

BB's Sophie plans some sexercise
Pinching an inch ... Sophie Reade
BIG Brother winner Sophie Reade says she's put on more than a stone while on the show and plans marathon sex sessions to get the weight off.
The 20-year-old Cheshire glamour model said she piled on the pounds thanks to her constant eating while on the reality TV series.
The bubbly blonde, who won more than ÂĢ70,000 when she claimed the Big Brother crown, told new! magazine she thinks she's gone up to a size 10.
"I enjoyed myself in the house.
"I thought why not, I'm going to eat what I want! I can't wait to lose it again though.
"I just want to tone up really. I'm gonna have plenty of sex. Best thing for it, so I hear."
But her Big Brother lover Kris Donnelly won't be getting lucky.
Sophie says she's still furious with the hunk for not denying the pair had sex in the house and even mocked the 24-year-old's manhood.
"He had nothing to brag about. He's got a small one. It's smaller than my Chihuahua's."
Instead she said she was thinking of bedding bisexual Brazilian housemate Rodrigo Lopes.
"He can help me get back in shape. I've been locked away for 13 weeks.
"I need to play the field and stop being so naÃŊve with guys.
"I always go for the wrong ones."

Simon's top 50.. By 3am 8/09/2009
AND IT DOESN'T INCLUDE BROOKSTEIN
Simon Cowell plans to mark his landmark 50th birthday with a ÂĢ250,000 party for 400 celebrity mates and artists he has catapulted to stardom.
But singer Steve Brookstein doesn't need to keep the date free. He's not invited.
Although 40-year-old Steve was the first ever X Factor winner when the talent show phenomenon began back in 2004, he fell out with Simon.
Then he was dropped by his record label after just a year. Steve now has the fresh embarrassment of losing out on a party place to zany Big Breakfast puppets Zig and Zag. Oh the shame!
Our spy reveals: "Simon's been planning this party for months and the guest list is phenomenal - a Who's Who of the celebrity world.
"All his recording artists - bar Steve Brookstein - have been invited. And all the judges on his shows from both sides of the Atlantic."
We got a peek at the stellar guestlist, which also includes Sir Elton John, David Furnish, Kevin Spacey, Denise Richards, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue and Donald Trump.
Simon's rumoured new ladyfriend, Mezhgan Hussainy (his make-up artist on American Idol) will be at the party in October, alongside his exes Terri Seymour, model Jackie St Clair and singer Sinitta.
Hosted by Simon's record label, Sony BMG, the entertainment will include performances by Il Divo, Leona Lewis, Westlife, and three top Rat Pack impersonators who are being flown in from Las Vegas.
The black-tie do will be at Wrotham Park, near Barnet - where Cheryl and Ashley Cole held their Wagtastic nuptials in 2006. With two additional marquees and even a smokers' tent!
We're told: "It's going to be the highlight of the showbiz calendar. Simon's not a massive party person, so when he says he's going to do something, he does it in style.
"He's always incredibly composed but he'll definitely be toasting his birthday properly. There will be champagne on tap, plus a three-course banquet.
"But he can't get up to too much, as his mum Julie is the guest of honour."
Bless!

Joe: Iâve hit jackpot with Kris
By LUCY CONNOLLY
Taking steps ... Joe and Kris out jogging yesterday as they shape up for Strictly
ROMEO ex-boxer Joe Calzaghe has boasted of "hitting the jackpot" after being paired with man-eater Kristina Rihanoff in Strictly Come Dancing.
Kris and cuddle ... in clinch
London Media
Newly-single Joe, 37, gushed about his blonde dance partner, 31, days after they were caught hugging and holding hands.
The former super middleweight champ said: "I was nervous about doing this, but hit the jackpot getting Kristina for a partner. We get on really well. My dancing experience is zero so I'm starting with a clean slate."
He told Radio Times: "Whatever happens, it's got to be more fun than getting punched in the head."
Partners ... Joe and Kris on show
The pair sparked rumours when they were snapped canoodling during a break in training near the boxer's home in Wales. Joe's ex Jo-Emma Larvin accused him of "driving a dagger into my heart". But his spokesman denied any romance, insisting they were simply "enjoying dancing with each other".
Earlier this year Siberian Kristina had an affair with fellow dancer Vincent Simone - whose partner was pregnant.
She flattered Calzaghe saying it was nice to be with someone "fitter and more focused" than last year's partner, rotund newsman John Sergeant, 65.

BUY A BEER FOR THE BOYS - AND GIRLS
ABOVE: Beer for our boys
7th September 2009 By Jack Bellamy
DEFENCE chiefs are appealing for donations so British troops returning from Afghanistan can enjoy a beer on their flight home.
âBeer for the boysâ has been launched to provide a can of lager or bitter for men and women fl ying back to the UK at the end of the gruelling six-month tours.
Breweries, including Scottish & Newcastle, veteransâ associations, City of London guilds and Dutch brewery Grolsch have donated thousands of cans, but the team at Brize Norton which runs the RAF flights would like more.
Wing Commander Steve Chadwick started âBeer for the boysâ when he took over at Brize Norton. âI felt it would be a nice thing to do on behalf of a grateful nation and the RAF,â he said.
âA can of cold beer thrust into the hand of a soldier marks the point when he knows he is going home after six months of fighting.â
â Make cheques payable to SIF Funds, RAF Brize Norton with âBeer for the boysâ on the back, and send to Wing Cdr Chadwick at 216 Squadron, RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire OX18 3LX.
------------------
I find it hard to believe that the Military can't give our Soldiers a pint on the way home from their tour of duty.
It costs millions for a plane or tank, how much can it cost to give them all a pint.
The mind boggles.
-------------------
I bet the US army get more than a pint on the journey home.

Davina McCall: 'BB10 was show at its best'
Tuesday, September 8 2009, 10:32 BST
By Mayer Nissim, Entertainment Reporter
Davina McCall has claimed that this year's Big Brother showed the programme at its best.
The host told Heat that she was "feeling very nostalgic at the moment" about the show, which is due to leave Channel 4 after next year's series.
McCall said: "BB went back to basics this year and I've really enjoyed it. There were no secret rooms or complications. It was Big Brother at its best.
"I loved it when the old Big Brother housemates went into the house, particularly when Rex, in an alpha male way, gave Marcus a pat on the head as if he were a small boy."
She added: "Even though the rule-breaking meant the housemates lost the prize fund, I have to say I've enjoyed their slightly rebellious streak this year.
"The new housemates going in was a real highlight. I think the five we had going in were the best 'new' housemates we've ever had. Never before have new housemates caused such a stir in the house."

Cheryl Cole to launch clothing line?
She's already conquered the worlds of music and TV, but is Cheryl Cole now set to turn her hand to fashion?
The Girls Aloud starlet is reportedly keen to add designer to her already bulging CV, with a source telling the Evening Standard: 'With her new hair and edgier clothes choices, Cheryl has told work colleagues that she wants to capitalise on her best dressed status and is exploring the possibilities of launching her own fashion label next year.'
The collection is rumoured to be taking a more casual direction than WAG rival Victoria Beckham's line of elegant dresses. Cheryl famously remarked that Posh's designs were more suited to 'older women,' and is believed to be targeting a younger market for her signature line.
The source adds: 'Cheryl wants to pounce while she's on top. She is eager to follow the multi-tier marketing platform used by US stars such as Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and Heidi Klum, to highlight her on-screen, singing and fashion talents.'
The collection would be yet another project outside of Girls Aloud for Mrs Cole, who debuted her first solo single, Fight For This Love, this week.

Cheryl Cole 'Can't Watch Herself On X Factor'
Published Tuesday, 8th September, 2009 at 9:51 AM
Cheryl Cole has revealed that she hates seeing herself on TV when she watches the X Factor.
When asked if she views the show at home, the Girls Aloud singer told The Sun: "I don't watch it, I cringe when I come on. I Sky+ it and fast-forward the bits when I'm talking."
"You know when you see yourself talk? It's not natural watching your facial expressions." The judge continued. "I don't like that."
But it's just the X Factor which Cheryl has difficulties with viewing, as she added that she "can watch myself perform on stage."
X Factor Live has recently unveiled its 2010 tour dates - tickets are on sale now.
Cole's debut single 'Fight For This Love' premiered on radio yesterday. The song will be getting a release on 19th October, before her debut album 'Three Words' is released on 26th October.

"She is game for a laugh and really up for it - she'll do anything they want her to as it's for a good cause."

Gran's call from Big Brother star Charlie
Phone chat ... Charlie Drummond.
Published Date: 08 September 2009 By Verity Ward
CHARLIE Drummond's first priority after leaving the Big Brother House was to ring his gran back in South Tyneside, the Gazette can reveal.
Sarah Smith had watched the live final of Channel 4's infamous show on Friday night and saw her grandson scoop a respectable fourth place.
The 78-year-old was bursting to speak to Charlie, from Cleadon Village, but she didn't quite anticipate how soon that would be.
She said: "It was just after midnight and my phone rang, and it was our Charles.
"He quickly told me not to go to sleep and that he'd ring me in a little while because the mobile he was on had a very low battery."
The pensioner stayed awake, and, sure enough, the 22-year-old rang back less than an hour later.
"He was so excited and chattering non-stop," said Mrs Smith, from Whitburn.
"He told me how much he loved and missed me and he was hoped I was proud of him, which, of course, I told him I was."
Mrs Smith believes her grandson has seen some of her Saturday Gazette columns 'Charlie's Gran Says' â where she reviewed each week's activities in the Big Brother house.
"He said a tear was brought to his eye when he saw a picture of my little head," she explained.
"And after the call I got thinking, the only pictures where I have a little head are in my columns, so I think the producers must of handed him the copies which were sent down to London."
Mrs Smith is now looking forward to seeing Charlie come home soon.
She added: "I'm not too sure what his plans are at the moment, but no doubt there's quite a few parties involved."

Less is definitely more for Billie Piper as she radiates sophistication at TV awards
The actress was the image of sophistication at the London ceremony
Making her return to the TV social scene was Danniella Westbrook, joined by her on-screen brother Steve McFadden
Bright colours, mini skirts and plunging necklines seemed to be the order of the day as demonstrated by some of the Loose Women panelists
08 SEPTEMBER 2009
On a night where bright colours, mini skirts and plunging necklines seemed to be the order of the day, Billie Piper's understated look put her ahead of the rest at the annual TV Quick awards.
The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl star was the image of sophistication at the London ceremony in a pair of ultra skinny jeans and an elegant cream jacket.
And finishing off the mum-of-one's stylish look was her unfussy 'do â her two tone brunette-to-blonde mane tumbling down over her shoulder.
Also in the spotlight at the bash â and going for a slightly more glammed up look with an on trend sequinned dress â was Danniella Westbrook.
After making her return to Albert Square as Sam Mitchell the blonde star is getting acquainted with the TV social scene again.
And there to support her was her old pal Steve McFadden, who plays her brother Phil in the BBC soap.
The EastEnders crew scored three gongs at the awards â the coveted best soap award as well as best storyline and best newcomer for Lauren Clace, who plays Danielle Jones on the show.
And it was a special night for cheeky Geordie duo Ant and Dec â who were given a outstanding contribution trophy in recognition of two decades of working in TV.
"We can't believe we've been doing this for 20 years - it really is the best job in the world," said Declan Donnelly, who has been dating Sky Sports presenter Georgia King since the start of the year

Susan Boyle outsells Whitney Houston
Months ahead of the release of Susan Boyle's debut album and she is already at the top of Amazon's bestseller list.
According to The Daily Mail, the 'Britain's Got Talent' star's album, 'I Dreamed a Dream', is the most hotly anticipated release of the year.
Due to go on sale on 23 November tens of thousands of copies have already been sold to fans pre-ordering on the American edition of Amazon.
The album is even outselling Whitney Houston's comeback album, and a host of other pre-release titles, including the 'Beatles remastered' and the 'Twilight' soundtrack.
A photo shoot for the cover of the album shows the 'Britain's Got Talent' star looking happy and healthy.
Included on the album is Susan's cover of the Madonna hit 'You'll See'. A source told The Sun: "Susan chose it herself - it's a song she has loved for years.
"She sang it at auditions for TV shows and music contests when she used to be cruelly turned away by people.
"At the end, when she was sometimes reduced to tears, she used to say 'You'll see'.
"And she's proof she can do it now as one of the most famous women in the world."

Good afternoon all..
Hicky... thanks for all that news, what a lot of it there was, but I enjoyed reading it.
How are you today? How are the ankles?
I havent been able to come on my lappy for a few days, have been very busy with visitors, moms birthday, and daughter starting college. Am just trying to catch up with things now.
Wonder if Suzy, Mike etc have gone to the livecloud ?
Emptybox... hope you are enjoying your new tv. We complained about ours, and they have agreed to look at it, to see if they can do something to remedy the problem, even though the 1 year guarantee was up, because we complained that it was not fit for purpose. I am hoping we will soon have a nice tv again. Hope your lawnmaker is ok now, and it is dry there today for work.
It has gone sunny and muggy here today.
kingkev... glad to hear the romance is going so well.
Pinkbabe
hope to see you again, when we eventually have to move to livecloud, Am staying here for now till I am told to move though.
time to peg washing out again.

Good Afternoon Mollie.
Not a lot of news about, but it's nice to know whats going on.
You have been busy as well.
We are going to the Chinese for a Banquet again Friday, with my Lad going back to Oz Saturday.
We've ordered a table for 12 I think.
I don't see the point in going to LiveCloud if Gaga is still open.
When we get moved that's it, can't see the problem really.
I hope they move the thread over as it is.
I can't see why they can't leave things as they are.
(CNN) -- McDonald's probably won't be exclaiming "I'm Lovin' It" in this case.
McCurry restaurant owners A.M.S.P Suppiah and his wife Kanageswary Suppiah.
In a David-and-Goliath match-up in the world of fast food, McCurry -- a small Indian curry shop in Malaysia -- has won an eight-year legal battle against the hamburger giant.
McDonald's claimed that the prefix "Mc" in McCurry trampled on its trademark. The country's Federal Court on Tuesday ruled that it didn't.
"We're very relieved -- much, much relieved -- that this eight-year-old saga is finally over," said McCurry owner P. Suppiah. "We're a typical South Asian-Malay cuisine. No way people walking into McCurry can confuse us with McDonald's."
The sparse 24/7 self-service restaurant in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, is popular with blue-collar workers who are drawn to its affordable fare, such as biryani rice and fishhead curry. Its logo: a chicken flashing a thumbs-up.
The eatery opened in 1999. McDonald's filed suit two years later.
"We were shocked that such a big giant wants to take us to court," Suppiah said. "We felt that we had nothing in common, because we were not selling any Western fast food."
The hamburger chain, which has 185 restaurants throughout Malaysia, said McCurry was violating the prefix "Mc" and that McDonald's had the right to protect it.
McCurry, in turn, said the prefix is common and is part of last names all across Europe. Furthermore, it said, the "Mc" in McCurry stands for "Malaysian Chicken Curry."
A lower court ruled in favor of McDonald's, and Suppiah appealed. An appeals court in 2006 overturned that ruling, prompting McDonald's to appeal this time.
On Tuesday, the Federal Court -- the highest in the land -- held up the appeals court ruling. McDonald's said it accepts the judgment.
"We respect the finding of the court and beyond that have no further comment," said Liam Jeory of McDonald's Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region.
Suppiah said the ruling means he can now add other McCurry locations, with its slogan: "Tasty and so Gooood."
----------------
These big companies have got a nerve, trying to protect the Mc, how on earth can you do that.
-------------
Well, i've been to Kuala Lumpa, bet it's a great Curry as well.

BB fans petition for final series live feed
Tuesday, September 8 2009, 14:59 BST
By Alex Fletcher, Senior Entertainment Reporter
Big Brother fans have launched a petition calling for the final series of the reality show to have a live feed.
Channel 4 reduced the hours of live footage during the recent summer series and Celebrity Big Brother 6, arguing that less people were watching the streaming online while the numbers of viewers watching clips on the official website were increasing.
However, DS forum users have blamed the live feed axe for the reduced interest and viewing figures in the recent series.
A message above the online petition reads: "Have you watched Big Brother 10 and missed the excitement and the buzz of the 24 hour live feed? If so this campaign is for you. Please sign this petition for Channel 4 to reinstate it for the final series of both the celebrity version and the main show, Big Brother 11.
"Do you feel that as loyal fans of the show these last ten years, both the presenters and the fans deserve for it to go out with a bang and be the best show possible? As live feed is a fundamental part of the show it should be reinstated to give everyone involved a full final BB experience."
Speaking to DS earlier this summer, head of E4 Angela Jain insisted that the live feed axe had not contributed to the show's downfall.
"Maybe it's just series 10 and it's run its course," she said. "To be honest... that was my decision. The truth is that the numbers were in massive decline anyway and really there weren't that many people watching the feed this time last year. So I'm not sure that it did have an effect. We're talking about 100,000 people and I'm not sure that would have contributed to the decline of Big Brother. 100,000 is not going to make that much of an impact."
The petition, which is on the website ipetitions.com, already has 600 signatures from fans of the show.

Marcus places BB jail key up for auction
Marcus Akin has placed the Big Brother 10 jail key up for auction on eBay.
The reality TV contestant and self-proclaimed "irrepressible dark horse" already has a highest bid of ÂĢ740 for the authentic show prop. Akin will also deliver a "personalised abusive letter" to the auction winner.
After posting a link to the eBay page on his Twitter account, Akin joked: "Less gum flapping and more eBay bidding please." Bidding for the key ends on September 14.
When asked what he thought about the quality of the key, the ex-housemate said: "It's actually really good. I remember thinking it would make a good weapon when I had it on the bus yesterday."
One fan suggested that Akin should start auctioning locks of his hair, but the window fitter replied: "How about no."

Davina: 'Noirin and Tom are a couple'
Davina McCall has said that she believes Big Brother 10 housemates Noirin Kelly and Tom Oliver are a couple.
Writing on her Twitter blog from the Channel 4 show's wrap party, McCall described the duo as "friends with benefits".
She said: "I got the impression Tom and Noirin are a couple!"
Afterwards, she added: "Tom and Noirin are friends with benefits! Poor Siavash! I know! I think Tom wants more!"
Kelly was pursued romantically by Sree Dasari, Marcus Akin and Siavash Sabbaghpour while inside the house, but reunited with American ex-boyfriend Isaac Stout when he joined the show halfway through. However, the Dubliner confirmed on the Big Brother final night that she had since split from Stout.
Tom walked out of the house on Day 53, describing appearing on the show as being "part of a circus".
McCall confirmed that winner Sophie Reade was not dating Kris Donnelly and revealed that finalist David Ramsden had arranged a meeting with fashion icon Vivienne Westwood.
She also suggested that Marcus Akin should be given his own TV or radio show.

Hi Darloboy.
Any news on the move, or whatever it is to the LiveCloud universe.
I made a strange meal before, cooked in a Wok.
I suppose it is a stir-fry almost.
Well, I stirred it and fried it.
I had some cooked rice over from yesterday and a cooked chicken, fried/ scrambled a couple of eggs, fried some onion and mushroom, added the chopped up egg, added some chopped up chicken pieces, kept the heat on low.
Put 1/2 pint boiling water in a 1 pint jug, added 3 forkfuls of Balti curry paste, 3 forkfuls of Madras and 3 forkfuls of Vindaloo, stirred it and added the bowl of rice, brought to the boil and simmered a couple of minutes.
It was very good, a bit like a Biriani but made in a few minutes as it didn't need to go in the oven to cook any meat.
Defo worth a try though, very tasty indeed.

Hi Hicky.
I see BB ending hasn't affected your ability to bring us all the news.
I'm convinced my mower's problem is the air filter.
I tried an experiment. I ran it without the air filter, and it ran fine. I ran it with the air filter in my spare mower (different model but uses same filter) and it ran fine. I put the current filter in and it immediately started spluttering.
So I've left the filter from the spare mower in it. I didn't do much mowing today because it was showery, but hopefully I'll test it tomorrow.
Funny thing is, the filter in the spare looks much dirtier, but I suppose it depends on wether the pores in the paper are blocked or not?
I'll still buy a new one at the first opportunity because they only cost ÂĢ5 or ÂĢ6.
I was cutting a hedge today, and my new hedger performed very well.
Hi Mollie.
I was wondering where you'd got to. Sounds like you've been very busy.
I'm very pleased with the telly. It's got a great picture, and seems just the right size for the room.
Just hope it's reliable. I didn't take out an extended warranty because I didn't think it was worth while.
