DEATH OF BB: THE TRUTH

ABOVE: Sexy Norin reveals all

ABOVE: BB's sexiest star tells the truth

ABOVE: The Irish babe has a fiery nature
21st August 2009 By Katie Begley BIG Brotherโ€™s sexiest babe claims TV bosses have covered up racism and bullying to avoid another Jade Goody scandal.

Fiery Noirin Kelly says that since Channel 4 axed the 24-hour live feed, viewers are not seeing whatโ€™s really going on.

In an explosive chat, the Irish beauty last night revealed how two housemates used the racist N-word but were not kicked out and how one of the gang is a complete bully but his true antics are never seen.

She also claims that producers already know who they want to win.

Noirin, 25, from Dublin said: โ€œPeople have said n****r โ€“ but the public would never know. They only see what Big Brother wants them to see.

โ€œThey have the freedom to do whatever they want. So many things have been covered up.โ€

Channel 4 bosses were determined to make this summerโ€™s show the best ever by scouring the country for the best housemates and setting them a catalogue of cruel tasks.

BB10 kicked off in fine form back in June, with more than five million tuning in, but bosses then nervously watched ratings slump to an all-time low of just under two million.

So they have had to rely on several stunts. They even sent in five new housemates to stir things up including Karly Ashworthโ€™s boyfriend, Kenneth Tong.

When that failed they tried again with Noirinโ€™s ex lover Isaac Stout, 23.

While that did have an impact on viewing figures, the show has continued to struggle and is now fighting for its future.

Speaking openly for the first time since she left the BB house last month, sexy Noirin โ€“ who got caught up in BBโ€™s biggest-ever love tangle with six housemates chasing her โ€“ sensationally claimed that there have been racist comments flying about in the house, but these have never been screened to avoid another 2007 Celebrity Big Brother-style race row.

Back then, contestants were caught on camera making racist comments about Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, 33.

The late Jade Goody called her โ€œShilpa Poppadomโ€ and model Danielle Lloyd, 25, branded her โ€˜โ€œa dogโ€.

As for this series, Noirin said: โ€œI used the word n****r speaking about myself โ€“ but the producers never said anything to me because I am black.

โ€œBut my boyfriend Isaac said it once about me as a joke and he was instantly dragged to the diary room.

โ€œChannel 4 has become so PC that they are killing the show. Big Brother has become too safe.

โ€œItโ€™s like a soap opera rather than a reality show. In life thereโ€™s racism, thereโ€™s sexism and thereโ€™s conflict. Seeing how people deal with that is what makes for interesting TV.

โ€œFans want to see the housemates have rows and they want to see how they resolve them. They donโ€™t want to see Big Brother butting in all the time and trying to play God.โ€ Noirin also claims bookiesโ€™ favourite Rodrigo Lopes, 23, is the showโ€™s biggest bully.

The Irish beauty added: โ€œHe is fav-oured in the way the show is edited.

โ€œThat boy is the biggest bitch and biggest bully in there.

โ€œItโ€™s supposed to be a reality show yet thereโ€™s nothing real.โ€

Noirin also claims that BB bosses already have an idea who they want as the winner this year โ€“ but she is refusing to say who.

โ€œWith so little live feed now they can edit the footage to make sure they get what they want,โ€ she claimed.

And she believes BB has edited footage to favour past winners such as gay Brian Dowling, black Brian Belo, transsexual Nadia Almada and Touretteโ€™s sufferer Pete Bennett.

Last night a Channel 4 spokesman said: โ€œThe nightly highlights shows are a balanced and fair representation of events in the house and the viewers choose the winner by public vote.โ€

Marcus: 'Bea has made good progress'
Day 79, 08:20 BST
By Catriona Wightman

Marcus told Bea that she had made "good progress" in the house last night.

As the pair sat at the bus stop, Bea revealed that she hopes Marcus will not be evicted and added that she would like to stay.

"You've made progress," Marcus remarked. "I'm proud of you."

Bea admitted that she had been "down" when Freddie was in the house, and explained that she felt as if everyone had "turned" on her.

"I never turned on you," Marcus replied. He went on to say that she had been negative for a few days, but had "come out of it" now.

"You've made very good progress," he repeated. "You've got every chance of staying now. You've realised how to turn negative jabs into good jokes that work for you rather than against you."

Bea thanked Marcus for his comments, and sighed: "We'll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow."

Lithuanian duo Dreamgirls hoped to impress Simon Cowell

Johnson, 27, from Reading, so amazed the judges with his show-stopping rendition of With A Little Help From My Friends that they jumped to their feet to give him a standing ovation.

Simon Cowell declared: โ€œI have been doing this job for eight or nine years and that was single-handedly the best first audition I have ever heard.โ€

Cheryl Cole, who seemed particularly taken by Johnsonโ€™s charms, told him: โ€œYou are a natural born performer and I will take you in my category right now.โ€

Johnson is likely to be the heart-throb of the series, as a smitten Dannii Minogue pronounced him โ€œabsolutely perfectโ€ and said: โ€œThereโ€™s a few people that want to go back to school now because of you...โ€

Johnson describes himself on his MySpace site as a singer-songwriter who looks after children part-time. He previously performed with a band called Empty Spaces.

He is one of several contenders who will appear in the first episode of the X Factor series, which begins on ITV1 this Saturday.

Stacey, a single mother from Dagenham, Essex, is another contestant who shows early promise. After she performed What A Wonderful World, Cowell told her: โ€œI have to be honest, that performance completely took me by surprise. You are really, really good.โ€

Identical twins described by Cowell as โ€œtwo of the most irritating people I have ever come acrossโ€ also feature in the opening programme. John and Edward, 17, from Dublin, go by the imaginative stage name of โ€œJohn and Edwardโ€.

Other hopefuls in episode one include the Dreamgirls, a duo of caterwauling Lithuanian models who were so determined to win the show that they moved to Britain in order to appear on it; Joe, an 18-year-old from South Shields who finds an instant fan in Cheryl Cole; and Fouad, a French waiter who may have the most unusual singing style in X Factor history.

The show begins at 7pm on Saturday August 22

Cowell will leave X Factor in three years

Simon Cowell has vowed that he will quit 'The X Factor' in three years time.

According to The Mirror, Cowell said that he was going to quit a couple of years ago but Leona Lewis convinced him to stay on.
Cowell said: "A couple of years ago I was not sure I wanted to carry on.

"It's a lot to juggle - making the shows, being on them - so I had to think twice about it. I think Leona Lewis probably changed my mind. She reminded me why we do this."

"Leona is the reason I decided to stay on two more years. She made it worthwhile again," he said.

"Three years and that's it - I will do what I've always done. I run a record label, I run a TV company, we're making movies now - I love that part of my life."

"I probably get more satisfaction from making a show than being on a show. I've been lucky, but I also know not to outstay my welcome."

HMs are on Team Pete
By HAYLEY DOYLE

Andre is best ... Lisa Wallace

HOUSEMATES have pledged their allegiance to Team Andre.

During their magazine task housemates were given real articles from national publications to read.

The break-up of celebrity couple Katie Price and Peter Andre dominated the magazines.

Split ... Jordan and Peter Andre

Last night at the 'launch party' - awarded to the housemates for successfully producing a Big Brother magazine - Bea Hamill and Lisa Wallace discussed the shocking news.

Butch Lisa, 41, confessed: "I don't like her new guy (Alex Reid). She's gone from Peter Andre to him." She wrinkled her nose in disgust.

Bohemian Bea, 24, pondered: "Do you think she is having a nervous breakdown?

"Who broke up with who?"

As Lisa revealed that Peter was the one to dump Katie she noted the sexual chemistry the former lovers used to have.

Lisa observed: "You could see it in all the pictures, they had so much sexual chemistry.

"Lust is more powerful than love."

But obviously not powerful enough to keep an A-list couple together, Lisa!

La Toya to sign up for Strictly

With just one day to go (hurrah) until the start of The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing is staging a fight back for attention with the news that La Toya Jackson is in talks to appear on the show. Jackoโ€™s sister is thought to be signing on the dotted line today, but if she does rumour has it BBC bosses will be hit with some serious diva behaviour. The singer โ€“ who also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother - has already fired off a list of demands, which include wanting her own dressing room. An insider said: โ€œLa Toya would be a great name to have on the show. If she chats about Michael live on TV, or dedicated an emotional performance to him, it will make for fantastic viewing.โ€

Lisa "over the moon" with magazines
Day 79, 10:18 BST
By Matthew Reynolds, Gaming Reporter

Lisa expressed her love for gossip magazines when several were given to housemates yesterday.

"I love magazines," she said. "This is brilliant."

She read about the other housemates, including Freddie's eviction, Siavash's secret girlfriend, Sophie's weight gain and Karly and Kenneth.

"Bea, it's all about you! Is there nothing about me?" she said. "You've only been here 5 weeks, I've been in 11!"

She later said in the Diary Room: "Ooh thank you Big Brother for the magazines. I know they've upset a few housemates but I'm over the moon!"

Lisa wants ex-girlfriend at BB final
Day 79, 10:36 BST
By Matthew Reynolds, Gaming Reporter

Lisa has said that she wants her ex-girlfriend at the final.

As Bea and Lisa discussed their sexual frustration last night, Bea said: "I'm so randy."

"Me too," replied Lisa. "I'm going to ask Big Brother about my ex-girlfriend and get her down here for me in I'm in there in the final."

Lisa then insisted that the Big Brother experience will not change her, saying: "I will be getting on the bus like I did before."

"Yeah, but you won't be getting on the bus and people thinking there's that woman with the mohican, they'll be thinking there's Lisa from Big Brother," said Bea.

Noirin and Isaac split! What a surprise...
Posted by heatworld on Friday 21 Aug 2009

Remember when that Isaac 'dude' entered the BB house all those weeks ago, and stole Noirin from right under poor Siavash's nose? Yes? And how Noirin and Isaac really wanted to tell us just how much they loved each other, like ALL the time? Yes? Well guess what? Rumour has it they've split. Already. Isaac has headed back to his native America without Noirin, who he claimed would be going back with him to become his housewife (smooth Isaac, smooth). But, er, she hasn't gone back with him, and instead, those pesky 'sources' are saying it's all over for the two of the, So, hang on, do you mean the whole thing was a publicity stunt? Louis Walsh: X Factor will blow Strictly out of the water!
August 21st, 2009 by Lisa McGarry.

Louis Walsh has revealed that he is confident in X Factorโ€™s ability to beat Strictly Come Dancing in this years ratings war.

In an interview with the Mirror, Louis revealed that he believes the BBC have shot themselves in the foot by sacking experienced judge Arlene Phillips.

Louis said: โ€œWeโ€™re going to blow Strictly Come Dancing out of the water. They made a big mistake getting rid of Arlene Phillips. Sheโ€™ll probably be hired in the States now.

โ€œThe BBC are just copying us. They watch everything The X Factor does but they just donโ€™t do it as well as Simon.

โ€œHe always tells us never to be complacent. He always wants the show to be better. He always wants us to be better judges.โ€

Arlene Phillips' diary

Choreographer, and former judge of Strictly Come Dancing, Arlene Phillips has been appointed the UK's "dance tsar" by the Health Secretary Andy Burnham.

Interview by Florence Waters
Published: 11:34AM BST 21 Aug 2009

Can the new dance Tsar, Arlene Phillips, make us enjoy dancing?

This week I was appointed as leader of the Dance Champions Group โ€“ a government campaign led by the Health Secretary Andy Burnham, to get the nation dancing. Itโ€™s an idea Iโ€™ve been committed to for a long time so Iโ€™m thrilled that the project is finally getting going. The emails and responses started flooding in โ€“ including plenty from the press. Everything I do, since the ageism row when I was fired from Strictly Come Dancing, seems to get so much attention, but at least this time itโ€™s positive! Needing time to work on other projects, I made plans to escape from my London home to my country getaway in Herefordshire.

Friday

Waved goodbye to my eldest daughter Alana, a make-up artist, who was going off to the Bahamas to work at the Miss Universe competition.

My youngest daughter Abi, 17, was gloomy because she had to leave her boyfriend behind in London and shoot off with us to our cottage. It was a long, slow drive to get there, because there were so many โ€œstaycationโ€ caravans clogging up the motorways.

Saturday

The choreographer for a new project Iโ€™m working on โ€“ a Latin dance musical called A Sacred Flame, which opens at the O2 Arena in December โ€“ came to stay. She arrived late, because of my awful road directions, and I was itching to get started on ideas for the show. Weโ€™ve only just been given the script and the music so we started by working through those. This is not a real holiday; it never is for me! My partner Angus prepared eggs from the farm down the road, while we did some brainstorming and danced around in the cottage sitting room. In the evening we went to my PA Cocoโ€™s 27th birthday party. It was supposed to involve dancing and camping in the grounds of her family home. The dancing I could do, but I didnโ€™t join in the camping. No chance.

Sunday

My co-choreographer and I worked through Act 2 of A Sacred Flame. The foundation stages involve a lot of reading through papers and sketching ideas, with only the occasional moment of jumping up to try something out. We ended up throwing out more questions than answers. It was a very slow process โ€“ inevitable, but frustrating, because Iโ€™m also working on Flashdance, which is coming to the West End soon, and thereโ€™s so much to do.

Monday

Visited friends in Devon, where we ate home-grown veg and went for long walks in the woods. Stupidly, I had decided to walk in my dance shoes โ€“ I only own heels and dance shoes โ€“ so I had very stiff legs by the time I got back. I did finally stop and relax, only to discover that there was no mobile signal or internet where we were staying. Panic set in: I need always to be in contact with Coco. I also needed to know my daughters were all right. All I could think of was: โ€œGet in the car and drive to the nearest signal.โ€ So much for getting away from reality.

'X Factor' Losers Find Success
Today 13:00

Several 'X Factor' rejects claim losing the talent show was the best thing that ever happened to them.

Laura White said since coming fifth on the show last year she has worked with top music producers on an album, and is making up to ยฃ3,000 per appearance.

The 21-year-old singer said: "'The X Factor' is the biggest show on TV and it's the only real platform that a performer can go on to get noticed. Before I was on it I was playing bars in Bolton.

"Now I'm being produced by Madonna's writer and I've got an album coming out. 'The X Factor' is an amazing showcase - but once you've finished it's all about how hard you work."

Scottish singing duo the Macdonald Brothers - consisting of brothers Craig and Brian- came fourth in the 2006 series of the ITV programme, and agree with Laura, adding despite failing to win the show or the admiration of Judge Simon Cowell, they have forged a successful career.

Now I'm being produced by Madonna's writer and I've got an album coming out. 'The X Factor' is an amazing showcase - but once you've finished it's all about how hard you work.
Craig, 23, explained to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "No matter what we did, it was never good enough for Simon. If he's criticising you on a weekly basis, you wonder if you're going to get any work when you come out.

"But after the show's live tour we were offered a record deal in Scotland. Our first album went straight to number one in the Scottish charts and into the top 20 in England.

"I've been able to buy myself a four-bedroom house."

Boy band JLS, who were runners-up in last year's series of the show, have been one of the biggest acts to lose but still find success, signing a deal with Epic Records and hitting the top of the UK singles charts last month with their debut track 'Beat Again'.

Lisa upset over lack of fame

GOSSIP loving Lisa Wallace was left upset after she could find barely any mention of herself in a set of magazines.

Big Brother gave the housemates a stash of glossy magazines yesterday as part of their task.

They were given two hours to come up with a magazine of their own and were given the articles for research.

"I love magazines," butch Lisa said as they arrived. "This is brilliant."

She quickly thumbed through features on Freddie Fisher, Bea Hamill, Karly Ashworth and Kenneth Tong, but missed any mention of her own name.

"Bea, it's all about you. Is there nothing about me?" the 41-year-old wailed. "You've only been here five weeks. I've been in eleven."

But she soon cheered up when she got back to reading the celebrity news.

"Ooh thank you Big Brother for the magazines. I know they've upset a few housemates but I'm over the moon," she said.

The housemates finally finished their Big Brother Magazine and celebrated with a launch party yesterday evening.

After editor Marcus Akin picked up the first edition, Lisa wondered if the show's bosses would be distributing it for real.

Window fitter Marcus was so proud of his work he figured it would make a fortune.

"If they sold that for charity at 50p, they made f***loads", he said.

He added: "That f****** magazine is hilarious. We had such a good laugh making it as well. It was a right laugh all day. This was definitely one of my favourite days in the house."

Noirin strips off for lad's mag
By FIONA WYNNE

Irish charms ... Noirin

SEXY reality star Noirin Kelly knows what she wants in bed.

But the newly single Big Brother babe says her next beau will need plenty of lasting power to get there.

The saucy Dubliner stripped to her teeny weenies to take part in Nuts mag's '50 Stars Without Their Bras' series.

And as well as revealing her hot bod, she spilled the beans on what she looks for in a man.

[b[Lads' mag ... Nuts[/b]

Noirin, 26, said: "I know what I want but I wouldn't go chasing guys. I'd rather they made the moves.

"Even then it takes me a while after I get to know someone to go any further.

"But I used to do long distance running so I've definitely got a lot of stamina. To get a guy I just flirt loads, start talking about how cute and good looking they are and then give them a kiss.

"That's it, they're hooked then."

Shop assistant Noirin has reportedly split from American boyfriend Isaac Stout just three weeks after they left the BB house together.

Isaac has since returned to the US. But Noirin, from Cabinteely, insists she's not lonely.

She told Nuts: "The thing about Irish girls is they have a lot of banter, and guys like girls who can be their friend as well.

"I love talking to strangers, I always end up chatting to all these different people and finding out about them.

"I just end up doing laps of the club and my friends get annoyed with me, because I end up leaving them behind.

"But you do get to meet some interesting people."

Group to whistle 'Summer Nights'
Day 79, 16:59 BST
By Polly Taylor

The group will whistle the Grease hit 'Summer Nights' in today's task.

Charlie was called to the Diary Room and given instructions to read to the housemates.

They were asked to split into boys and girls and given a couple of hours to learn the song. Charlie is to act as conductor.

Throughout the performance, Big Brother's Booze-o-meter will be measuring the housemates' effort and enthusiasm. The more they put into their performance, the more alcohol they will receive after tonightโ€™s eviction.

If Big Brother deems that the performance shows little effort or enthusiasm, the Booze-o-meter will go down and the housemates will receive little or no alcohol.

Big Brother The Days Catch-Up
Today 19:12

All todays news and views from The Big Brother House

Big Brother Catch-Up - Lisa flirted with Bea this morning.

The chain smoking โ€˜Big Brotherโ€™ lesbian admitted last night that she misses sex, agreeing with Bea that they were both "randy".

Then this morning they flirted together, after Lisa told the recruitment consultant she was "naughty, but nice."

When Bea replied: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

Lisa crudely rhymed with her told her: "How about float like a butterfly, sting like a bee and ********* me?"

Slightly blushing, Bea told her: "That's a bit too graphic Lisa. Don't go spoiling it with crudity."

The outspoken housemate quickly corrected herself, saying: "Sorry, I've spoilt it now. How about float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, Bea is the sweetest thing we've ever seen?"

Lisa also told Bea yesterday (20.08.09) how she hopes her ex-girlfriend comes to the final if she makes it that far.

She told her: "I'm going to ask Big Brother about my ex-girlfriend and get her down here for me in I'm in there in the final."
Bea meanwhile offered Marcus a sex act in return for a can of beer last night, although he wasnโ€™t too interested.

He told her: "I can get one for free. I'll keep the can, thank you."

The โ€˜Big Brotherโ€™ housemates were divided by the magazines they were given last night.

As research materials for the publication they made together, the housemates were provided with a number of gossip magazines containing articles about the house and housemates - which had mixed effects on the house.

While Sophie was upset with comments made by evicted house boyfriend Kris - who refused to deny they had had sex in the house -saying she was never going to speak to him again, Bea was incensed that she was referred to as โ€˜Bonkers Beaโ€™ in one article.

Lisa, meanwhile, was very excited to read the outside perspective on Freddieโ€™s eviction, Siavash's secret girlfriend and Karly and Kenneth.
Comment on this Article

She told Big Brother: "I love magazines. This is brilliant. Thank you. I know they've upset a few housemates, but I'm over the moon!"

Siavash started to feel pangs of guilt when he read a very positive article with his now ex-girlfriend pledging her support for him in the house, published before he kissed series siren Noirin.

Laura Cogoni - the โ€˜secretโ€™ girlfriend - said soon after Siavash cheated she was ending their relationship.

David was upset at the effect the magazines had on Sophie, however, and he and Bea discussed Krisโ€™ comments.

Bea pledged support, saying: "I can understand. If you feel like someone might be making a fool of you, it's, 'F**k off'."

David added: "She's only been with two guys in her whole life. Think about it, Bea. Papers print s**t. They shouldn't be allowed to do it."

Meanwhile Marcus was pleased with their efforts with in producing their own magazine.

Presenting it to Big Brother, he said: "That f***ing magazine is hilarious. We had such a good laugh making it as well. This was definitely one of my favourite days in the house."

Then we had former โ€˜Big Brotherโ€™ housemate Noirin Kellly says racism and bullying are covered up on the show.

Noirin said she used the word n****r without reprimand as she is black, while her boyfriend, Issac Stout, was instantly hauled into the Diary Room when he said the same thing as a joke - all of which was edited out of the broadcast show.

In previous series housemates have been kicked out for making similar comments.

The Irish beauty also claimed Brazilian student Rodrigo is the biggest bully in the reality TV house, and the programme is heavily edited to keep viewers seeing his true personality.

Dubliner Noirin,25, told Britainโ€™s Daily Star newspaper: "People have said n****r - but the public would never know. They only see what Big Brother wants them to see.

Noirin - who has so far proved this yearโ€™s most controversial contestant after she attracted the amorous attentions of a number of housemates - also said since 24-hour live coverage from the house has been dropped this year, the show has been even more biased.

She added: "With so little live feed now they can edit the footage to make sure they get what they want. So many things have been covered up.

"Itโ€™s like a soap opera rather than a reality show. In life thereโ€™s racism, thereโ€™s sexism and thereโ€™s conflict. Seeing how people deal with that is what makes for interesting TV."

She also blasted Rodrigo - one of the few housemates she didnโ€™t appear to fall out with on the show -saying: "He is favoured in the way the show is edited. That boy is the biggest bitch and biggest bully in there."

Noirin was voted out of โ€˜Big Brotherโ€™ on July 31, and Issac, who had been in the house less than a week, followed her out an hour later.

A Channel 4 spokesperson defended against Noirinโ€™s allegations, saying: "The nightly highlights shows are a balanced and fair representation of events in the house and the viewers choose the winner by public vote."

And she is getting a rent assessor in to find out what rent she could charge. She hinted it would be much higher than I am paying now. Eeker
If the figure is too high I can see myself having to move to a smaller house once my Dad's stuff has been sorted out. Frowner

I suppose a 3 bedroom house is a bit big for just me and the cat, but I've been here for 17 years.

Aaawww Emptybox Hug
Sorry to hear about this, you could of done without all this. Frowner
What a cheek, that landlady certainly isnt wasting any time telling you she is arraanging to call in a rent assessor all ready.... a very cold thing to do already imo, in the circumstances, and with the fact you have lived there for 17 years. Roll Eyes

And I have read that rents have been going down recently, they certainly have round here, the market is flooded with rentals, because so many cant sell their properties for the high prices they want, so they have put them up for rent as well.

Anyway, lets hope she doesnt intend hitting you with a huge rent increase immediately. But as you say, it might be worth looking round for a smaller place when you have sorted stuff out, it will be easier for you to look after, then I guess, as well as being cheaper to heat. If you do decide on that, I hope something suitable is easy for you to find.

Good luck with sorting it all out. Hug I am sorry it looks like you have such a lot of hastle to contend with at once. Frowner

it would be a good idea to get your own assessment as well empty, so at least you know it is right, but as mollie said, the landlady could have waited, shame on her.

Me, OH and daughter went out for tea at Harvester tonight, our excuse was that it was our wedding anniversay a few days ago. Had a lovely meal, but then we called in Macdonalds on way home to get one of our boys a chicken burger, and I caught my foot on the door... Eeker I nearly passed out with pain, I could feel blood gradually seeping into my sandal. Daughter quickly sat me down, and I had broken my toe nail half way down. Frowner Luckily my bright red nail varnish hid all the blood. It is still throbbing now, daughter got warm bowl of water to soak it, and OH bought dressing to put on it. It must of been the glass of wine I drank made me clumsy. I only had one glass, but cant take my booze, it makes me light headed. I think the nail might eventually fall off now.
