Strictly Come Dancing 2009 line-up rumours
The BBC has confirmed that 16 celebrity couples will take to the dance floor over 14 weeks for the new series.
20 August 2009 06:00 AM
It has been officially announced that 16 celebrity couples will take to the dance floor over 14 weeks for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. There will be just one show per week - a bumper 90-minute Saturday night show instead of the additional Sunday night dance-off of previous years.
The new series will see former Strictly winner Alesha Dixon replace Arlene Phillips on the judging panel, with Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli returning to share their praise and criticism. Ballerina Darcey Bussell is also confirmed to join the judges toward the end of the series. And hanging up their dancing shoes will be pro-dancers Karen Hardy, Hayley Holt and last year’s winner Camilla Dallerup.
What is still to be revealed is the full line-up of celebrities. Rumours abound and, if the papers are to be believed, here is a good idea of who we may be spotting in sequins this autumn.
Former This Morning presenter Fern Britton is the most recent name to be mooted. Fern quit the ITV daytime show earlier in the summer, but put in a fine performance of Singin’ in the Rain on the BBC’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief. Reports state that Fern has been offered Brendan Cole as a partner - now, is that a bribe or a threat?
Boxer Joe Calzaghe has been mentioned as a possible contestant for a while now. He retired from the ring in spring this year and has since appeared on a number of TV shows, including STV's Beat the Star, where he competed against Strictly presenter Tess Daly's husband, Vernon Kay.
EastEnders stars usually feature heavily in the Strictly line-up and, if the rumours are to be believed, this year should be no exception. Ricky Groves, who plays Garry Hobbs in the BBC soap, is understood to have signed up. Natalie Cassidy, who played Sonia Fowler, has also had her name connected to the show. Kara Tointon, who played Groves’ love interest Dawn Swann, has been mentioned, but has denied that she will be participating. If she does take part, she will have benefited from having competed in 2008’s Sport Relief does Strictly Come Dancing, which she won with partner Mark Ramprakash.
Representing other soaps, there has been speculation that Hollyoaks hunk Ricky Whittle who plays Calvin will be donning his dancing shoes, as well as Corrie’s Joe, aka Reece Dinsdale.
Two Footballers’ Wives actresses, Zoe Lucker and Laila Rouass (love rivals Tanya Turner and Amber Gates in the show) wouldn’t have a problem adjusting to the glamour of the show. Both actresses are rumoured to be participating.
With accusations of ageism hitting the show following the axing of Arlene Phillips, the names of two ‘more mature’ ladies have been suggested. 53-year-old Jo Wood, the former wife of Rolling Stone Ronnie, and ‘OXO mum’ and Loose Women panellist Lynda Bellingham, 61, have both been reported to have been in talks to dance this year.
Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding’s name has also been thrown into the mix. The former policeman is used to walking the beat, but how could that translate to waltzing across the dancefloor?
Adrian Chiles’ One Show partner in crime Christine Bleakely made it to the final five in last year’s contest. He has laughed off rumours that he may be taking part this series.
TV host Richard Madeley and former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne have both announced that they won’t be appearing, despite strong rumours to the contrary. Could they be double-bluffing?
The new series kicks off next month on Saturday nights on BBC One, so there can’t be long to wait until the official announcement.

Linford Christie signs up for Strictly Come Dancing
By Clemmie Moodie 20/08/2009
Sprinter Linford Christie won Olympic gold with his quick-steps but it could soon be his foxtrot making headlines.
The 49-year-old ex-athlete is the latest name in talks to sign for hit BBC1 show Strictly Come Dancing.
A BBC source said: “Sportsmen have always excelled at Strictly with Mark Ramprakash and Darren Gough both winning the show.
“Matt Dawson and Denise Lewis were runners-up, so we expect Linford to be a contender too. You never lose that competitive streak so if he gets on that dance floor he will want to do well.
“Producers reckon Linford will prove to be quite a talent and a big hit on the ballroom floor.”

Yes Mollie, he had a very interesting life. His first hotel was in Norfolk, then he had 2 (one after the other) in the Borders.
He was always into restoring old cars and motorbikes, and he was a leading figure in the craft of stick dressing. Making shepherd's crooks etc.
In fact one of the stickdressing organisations, to which he was chairman for a few years, put a lovely tribute to him on their website.

thanks for telling me that, I was picking up from the bits you had told us that he must of been an interesting type, with an interesting life story to go with it.
Yes it was far too hot here yesterday, and I had trouble sleeping last night in a stuffy house, but thank goodness it feels a bit fresher this morning with a bit of rain too.
Can't believe it is cool enough there to consider the electric blanket already. Hope it is dry enough though for you to try and catch up with your gardens.
As Hicky says, I know how quiet it will feel at home for you now. Thinking of you. xx
If you missed last nights BB, try and watch it online, it was a good task. I especially liked Marcus's costume.
Good morning all
Suzy ..I hope your daughter gets the grades she needs.
Hicky... Thanks for all the news again. Nearly the end of your full working week, and time for those hols soon. When you go to Longleat, try and make for the house early, so you can book for the extra free tour round Lord Bath's private appartments later in the day. It is first come, first served with that, and they book up quite quickly. It is fascinating. And one room on the tour, you are warned is for the broad minded, so you are advised to wait in the corridor if you dont wish to go in that room...so of course I didn't miss that room. at the pics on the walls, and the statues.
Did your lad enjoy his first evening at home yesterday? How is his jetlag? We found a stopver in Singapore does help with that though.
I bet you are looking forward to the Christmas meal tonight.

good Morning Mollie.
It was warm last night and was 24deg in the office this morning so I put the Air Con on for a bit.
Just going to get some brekkie, have lovely brekkies at home, but they will have to wait now.
Hope you are well, and hope Doggie is still eating a little, pity she isn't drinking, why is that?

Hi Mollie.
I'm broad minded, unshockable more like.
My lad had a great time, but fell asleep half way through the Match, knew he was tired, but he wouldn't admit it.
He slept all night.
It's a pity i'm not at home to help get the food prepared, but my lad will probably help anyway.
After all it's for him.
I just rang home to see how preperations for tonights meal is going.

Marcus, Rodrigo row over chicken nuggets
Day 78, 10:31 BST
By Matthew Reynolds, Gaming Reporter
Marcus and Rodrigo argued over chicken nuggets last night after Marcus branded the housemates "greedy".
Bea offered to cook everyone nuggets, only to find that most of them had already been eaten, much to Marcus's annoyance.
"I think some people in this house are far too greedy and the only reason they want them is because you just went out and asked them," he told Bea. "I bet they're not even hungry."
"We should eat what we cook together and then stay out of the cupboards," suggested David.
The group discussed how many nuggets were eaten and whether they should be rationed, at which point Rodrigo intervened.
"Who are you to say what is right and what is wrong? You broke the rules and they took all our food and then you come here and say we are going wrong," he said to Marcus.
"You can't keep bringing things up like that to win an argument," Marcus replied.
"I don't understand," commented Bea, to which Marcus responded: "People are greedy, that's all there is to understand."

David fails to identify Marcus's mum
Day 78, 10:28 BST
By Matthew Reynolds, Gaming Reporter
David had to identify Marcus's mother out of a lineup of women wrapped in bandages as part of this week's House of Horrors task.
The four 'mummys' had to describe their thoughts for Marcus one by one.
The first said he was "my little boy", while the second was "delighted to find out he can wash up".
Another said that "despite his bad language, I'm very proud of him" and his real mother said: "He was a naughty baby, a naughty toddler, a naughty little boy and he's a naughty man."
With a minute to decide, David chose the wrong mummy.
"They brought my mother in?" said Marcus when David returned to the house. "She should be doing some work somewhere. Skiving off work, the lazy ******!"

"I never wanted to seek fame. I mostly did it for Karly so we've something to share."
He added that he and Karly will be working together, saying: "Life is good post Big Brother. I have always been comfortable, now Karly and I simply have a joint occupation!"

'Soaps ruined my love life' says Gemma Bissix
Dancing on Ice star Gemma Bissix has said that she finds it hard to get a date as men are "scared" of her soap characters.
.20 August 2009 08:40 AM
Dancing on Ice star Gemma Bissix has said that she finds it hard to get a date as men are "scared" of her soap characters.
The actress has claimed that her roles as Clare Bates in EastEnders and Clare Devine in Hollyoaks are making it hard for her to find a boyfriend, says the Daily Record.
The 26-year-old Eastender's character was part of gold-digging plots while Clare in Hollyoaks was last seen murdering Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) in a story of revenge.
Gemma explained: "Most men are scared of me. They either think I'm going to kill them or steal all their money.
"It's as if they can't distinguish me, Gemma, from my evil characters."
She continued: "I was in Sainsbury's recently and a female member of staff refused to serve me.
"I thought she was joking and tried to get my groceries onto the conveyor belt, but she point-blank refused. I was half-amused and half-annoyed.
"It's the downside of playing the super-bitch on TV. If people could meet the real Gemma, they would see I'm actually a nice person, and nothing like the Clare characters."
The star took part in the 2009 series of Dancing on Ice and was the first female to be eliminated from the contest.

'I'm A Celeb was my pension fund' says Biggins
Christopher Biggins has said that he turns down reality TV contests if he does not think he will win them.

Christopher Biggins has said that he turns down reality TV contests if he does not think he will win them.
The actor has so far been successful on ITV1's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2007 and Channel 4's Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
He told the Liverpool Daily Post: "I only want to do ones which I can win, so I'm contented.
"I did I'm A Celebrity... to get myself a pension and it seems to have worked."
The actor is well know for his performances in panto and often plays the dame. Christmas 2007 was the first time in 38 years that he had not been in a pantomime because he was taking part in the jungle reality show.
The 60-year-old star said that Celebrity Come Dine With Me was harder than it looked.
He explained: "There was a little bit of trepidation in accepting, as you know you're going to be set up.
"I loved every moment, but it's really tough as everyone does one dinner for the three other contestants over four days and you have to eat and drink constantly.
"I'm social, but I'm not that social. You're filmed in the day buying and cooking, and then in the evening with the meal."

Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton to cook up a storm on Channel 4's Come Dine With Me
Aug 20 2009 by Dawn Collinson, Liverpool Echo
Liz McClarnon has already proved to have a touch of the Nigella, and now Natasha Hamilton is keen to show off her culinary skills too.
While Liz picked up the Celebrity Masterchef title, Tash is aiming to win over showbiz foodies on Celebrity Come Dine With Me. She’s just hoping not to poison anyone!
“I think my dinner party nightmare would be if someone had an allergy to one of my ingredients,” Tash tells Insider. “Imagine that, you’d feel so guilty.”
Natasha, who cooks at home for husband Riad and sons Josh and Harry, says she’s excited at the prospect of whipping up a feast for her surprise guests.
Although she admits: “I am prone to getting competitive when it comes to quizzes so the chances are I’ll be pulling out all the stops with this competition to win. But it’s all for a very good cause because if I win I'm going to donate the winnings to the World Vision for their Sponsor A Child campaign.”

Cheryl Cole goes to war with Alexandra Burke
It is thought that Cheryl Cole's debut solo album will be released at the same time as Alexandra Burke's.
Who will win the battle of The X Factor babes?
.20 August 2009 10:07 AM
Cheryl Cole was Alexandra Burke’s mentor and remains a close friend but it is believed that her forthcoming debut solo album will coincide with Alexandra’s debut album release.
It is hoped that both girls will perform on the show and an industry insider told The Mirror: "It will be interesting to see who gets the most viewers. This has never happened before so it'll be strange seeing them going head to head. They aren't keen on competing. They want each other to do well."
Alexandra is well used to the nerves of performing in front of Simon and co. but Cheryl is a little more apprehensive.
A source told The Mirror: "It is a no-brainer for Cheryl to launch her solo career on the show. Girls Aloud performed last year when their single 'The Promise' was in the charts.
"But this will be a totally different experience for Cheryl - she won't have the others for support. She is nervous because she will be performing for her peers - and there is always the fear that Simon may say something catty."
It’s certainly shaping up to be one of the hottest series of The X Factor yet and the girls performances are set to be the icing on the cake.
Which album are you looking forward too? Cheryl's or Alexandra's?

Cheryl Cole: I'll be tougher on The X Factor this year
Cheryl is sure that her act will win again
Thursday, 20 August 2009
Watch out, Simon, Dannii and Louis – Cheryl’s back and she's determined to retain her X Factor crown. She took the show by storm in 2008, mentoring the winner Alexandra Burke and even managing to get Simon hot under the collar!
This year the Girls Aloud star, 26, is confident she can win again.
'I think I’m at a slight advantage to the other judges because I’ve been through the process,' Cheryl, 26,
'I can be more considerate at times. I understand how the contestants feel, especially when they’re singing in front of us and an audience of more than 2,000.'
And Cheryl reckons she's going to be a lot harder with her comments and decisions.
'I feel like I’m more experienced as a judge – and at saying no! I struggled at first last year in saying no to people, but I think I may have been giving false
hope.
'This year, I’m more able to say no to people who don’t have what we’re looking for and I don’t feel as bad.'

Flack flies to jungle
Fit for a prince ... Caroline Flack will present spin-off show
PRINCE Harry's former girlfriend Caroline Flack is heading Down Under - to host the I'm A Celebrity spin-off show.
The hottie - who dated the young Royal for several months - will front ITV2's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Now when it returns in November.
She replaces former show winner Matt Willis and his wife Emma Griffiths who we revealed were axed.
Caroline, 28, will fly to the jungle base in Queensland, Australia, with Ant and Dec who host the main show. Bosses are changing the format of the sister show and will scrap the London studio element, which was previously hosted by Mark Durden-Smith.
An insider said: "Caroline is perfect for the job as she's bubbly and enthusiastic.
"She's a big fan of the show too - which is important as it can become all-consuming being stuck out in the jungle for nearly a month."
Caroline beat off a number of stars for the job, including Declan Donnelly's girlfriend Georgie Thompson. Caroline told TV Biz: "I have been a huge fan of I'm A Celebrity since it began and I'm really looking forward to presenting the ITV2 show.
"It's always been my favourite reality programme and I can't wait to get all the gossip out of this year's celebrities when they come out of the jungle."
She has previously hosted Gladiators, Big Brother's Big Mouth and kids show TMI. Caroline and Harry split in June.

Cowell: 'Abdul was the heart of Idol'
Thursday, August 20 2009, 11:47 BST
By Mayer Nissim, Entertainment Reporter
Simon Cowell has said that he was saddened by Paula Abdul's decision to quit American Idol because she was the heart of the reality talent show.
The judge told Fox News that he nevertheless supported Abdul for making her own decision to leave the programme.
Cowell said: "She's taken the decision in her life now, which you have to respect her for making the decision.
"I didn't want to get involved in what was going on because it wasn't really any of my business but I spoke to her a lot through the whole process. I always thought she was the heart of the show."
He added: "I'm not the heart, I'm not even the brain actually. But she was the heart, so you've taken that away so it's a different show. I'm sad, I am.
"I'll probably see her next week. I'm going to listen to what she wants to do next. I will support her in anything she wants to do next. I think she is TV gold, genuinely."
Abdul's manager recently rejected reports that the singer will return to American Idol.

Kerry Katona offered £100k for a Piers Morgan interview
Troubled reality star Kerry Katona has reportedly been offered £100,000 to give an interview with Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan, according to reports.
Friends of the troubled singer have told the Daily Star that she is so desperate for cash that she is "considering" the offer.
Piers originally asked Kerry for an interview after her husband Mark Croft was caught with lap dancers, according to her pals.
This week the ex-Atomic Kitten was fired from her contract with Iceland over a video that allegedly showed her snorting a white powder.
The Piers Morgan deal would provide some much needed income for Kerry who has to find payments on her mortgage and several cars.
Her pal is reported as saying: "Associates of Piers told her he could help her win back the sympathy of the public. She was too upset to face the cameras straight after the lap-dancers story, but now she needs money.
"She is scared he will give her a grilling about her coke problem but she needs the cash.
"He will pull no punches and will want to know why she's frittered away millions on cocaine and a man who treats her like dirt
"But it could be the chat to turn her life around."

Susan Boyle and Pebbles move from Blackburn to Kensington
She may have been back in Blackburn this week, but Susan Boyle is being treated like the star she is in a luxury flat in Kensington. Read about her astounding life transformation here.
.19 August 2009 10:41 AM
She became an overnight sensation - the ‘hairy-angel’ who won the hearts of the world with her unkempt appearance and stunning voice. Now Susan Boyle's life has been transformed as she and loyal cat Pebbles have made the move from a council house in Blackburn, to an exclusive address in Kensington.
From the moment Susan Boyle appeared on our screens on Britain’s Got Talent, 11th April 2009, we knew something special was going to happen to the unassuming lady the judges and audience initially mocked.
But who could have guessed to what extent Boyle’s life would change in just six months.
Television screens around the globe were filled with images of the quiet lady with the cheeky smile enjoying time with her cat in her small council house in Scottish town Blackburn.
Her un-star like appearance and attitude added to the appeal and admiration many felt towards the 48 year old lady, who simply wanted to achieve her lifetime ambition to sing.
And now, after months of highlights and lowlights in Susan’s life, she finally seems happy and is seeing her hard-work and ambition pay off.
Like a modern-day fairytale, The Daily Mail reports that Susan has gone from dreary council house in Blackburn, West Lothian, to living in a spacious flat in highly desirable Kensington, West London. How can she afford it? The flat comes courtesy of her record label and is believed to have been chosen by Simon Cowell himself.
The paper also reported that Susan has a full time PA called Julia who has become her companion and looks after her diary.
She may be living in one of the most desired addresses in Britain but Susan does not go without her home comforts. She has a housekeeper who stocks up on her favourite treats of chips (that’s fries to those in America) and lemonade and who also keeps an eye on Susan’s treasured cat Pebbles.
It is reported that Susan travels in style in a chauffeur-driven BMW with blacked out windows - a welcome comfort for the lady who was used to travelling on damp buses around her home town.
Susan has always been very welcoming to fans but people are so anxious to get close to the star now, that she is escorted by her own personal security guard.
Then there’s her appearance. Gone are the wiry grey locks Susan sported on the first audition. A star hairdresser has replaced these with a sleek chocolate brown hairdo that compliments her pretty, gentle face. Recent pictures of the star also indicate that she may have taken a leaf out of Mr Cowell’s book and had her teeth whitened.
Gone are the frumpy gold dresses and in has been brought an entire new wardrobe of fashionable yet comfortable classics, similar to those seen in the recent Harper’s Bazaar shoot.
Susan went back to check on her home in Blackburn this week and looked happy to be home. The Daily Mail reported that she popped into the offices of West Lothian Council, to ask them not to let out her house as she was hoping to put aside £30,000 to buy it.
So when will the world get to hear the new album that Susan is hidden away working on?
If reports are to be believed, it looks like it will be released in November, with an American tour and publicity performances planned for shortly after the release.
With estimates for Susan’s earning varying between £5 million and £10 million, we think you will be able to buy your council house soon enough Susan. But will she want to look back? Would you?!
What do you think of Susan’s transformation? Do you think Simon Cowell has done the right thing by taking her away from Blackburn and bringing her to London? Are you as excited as us about the impending album?

COWELL DONATES TO BLAIR'S DOG HOME
SIMON COWELL has a secret sensitive side - he reportedly donates $150,000 (£100,000) annually to actress LINDA BLAIR's dog charity.
The American Idol and Britain's Got Talent star has made a name for himself as the nasty judge on the hit shows - but the reality is that Cowell has a soft side.
He makes an annual contribution of $150,000 to The Exorcist star Blair's animal sanctuary in Toluca Lake, California - because he can't have a canine pal at home.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Simon is a huge dog lover but because he's always travelling he can't have one. He thought it would be a great idea to help Linda out.
"He doesn't like to talk about it as he sees it as a private arrangement."
Cowell is a long-term animal lover - he has supported British dog charities in the past and has revealed he plans to leave a chunk of his $180 million (£120 million) fortune to a canine cause.

LG GD910 watchphone hits the UK with Orange for £500
But is £500 still too pricey for a new watch?
Described by Orange (rather optimistically) as the 'must have gadget of the year', the LG GD910 touchscreen watchphone will go on sale in the UK from Thursday 27th August. But only for a limited time and initially, only from the Orange shop, Bond Street Station, central London. So if you're reading this in Inverness or Aberdeen, you might want to factor in those travel costs.
Saying that, the price is considerably less than previously estimated. The expected UK price was initially £1,000, but that was dropped further when the techno timepiece hit the French market, again with Orange, for £770. It seems that Orange has taken pity on us recession-hit UK punters and dropped the price even further, although the new £500 price tag still isn't loose change.
Yet despite the premium price tag, Orange is still expecting heavy demand, with sales on a 'first-come-first-serve basis' and with a limit of one device per customer. Of course, it could just be trying to build up demand and a queue at the door, but do you really want to risk that? If you want to be flashing this James Bond-style watch to your mates over the Bank Holiday weekend, we suspect not. Alternatively, you could just wait, a 'limited number' of the watches available via the Orange online shop in September.
For anyone who missed it previously, the GD910 is a handmade 3G+ watchphone, complete with scratch resistant touchscreen interface, built-in speaker, media player, VGA camera and of course, phone functionality. Knock out a text message on your wrist or make a voice or video call using some well-chosen, voice-activated commands. It's also one phone you'll never lose - unless you take it off.
Francois Mahieu, Director of Devices, Orange UK said: 'The LG touchscreen watchphone is one of several ‘future phones’ we’re bringing to UK consumers this year. Being handmade, the device really is highly original and exclusively limited - so you’ll be the envy of all your friends if you’re fortunate enough to get your hands on one.' Get saving now - you've got exactly one week.

BB's Noirin's still a stunner
EVICTED Noirin Kelly shows she's still a stunner in a black sequined number.
The Irish siren had captivated several men while she was in the Big Brother house, and she was turning on the charm as she stepped out of dinner yesterday.
The heartbreaker posed for pictures as she left London's Nobu restaurant.
The 25-year-old Dubliner was booted off the show just after her ex boyfriend Isaac Stout arrived.
She soon dumped a gutted Siavash Sabbaghpour who she had been having a fling with in order to rekindle her relationship with her former flame.
Her flirty ways proved her undoing and she was voted out by the public, only to be followed by Isaac when he quit the show just hours later.

Hicky
you should find the Karma sootra room interesting on the tour then. I was the silly one giggling at the back of the group, but making sure I looked at all the exhibits before I left the room though.
Shame you are stuck in the office this week whilst your lad is at home. Never mind I guess the extra wages will come in useful when you go away next week.
How long is your lad back home for?
that is good that he slept at night, the worst thing is when you get jet lagged, and cant sleep at night, then are sleepy all day.
Are all your other lads coming over for dinner, and the little ones too?
Just phoned the college because daughter hasnt had her offer letter yet, and they start in just over 2 weeks, and the admin told me , that they didnt wish to worry me, but she wasnt registered on the course...what??? oh boy , did I panic, I know they had 30 apply for 20 places, and that was back in June. Luckily though my panic was over, a couple of hours later, when the tutor of the course phoned and told me my daughter was on her list of unconditional offers (some have to wait for gcse results), even though admin had somehow ommitted her, and they would be sending her offer out now. Phheww, what a relief.
Times are hard out there for youngsters now , no jobs, less Uni and college places. All full time ones in our college are oversubcribed. I am so glad I pushed her to get those OU courses done now.
Hope Suzy's daughter has done ok.
And Hicky, thanks for all those extra news items. We do well here for news, when you are at work, during a quiet week at your office.
£500 for a new watch, think I 'll pass on that one, and stick with my fave cheapo from Argos.

Pity i'm working this week isn't it, but can't be helped.
My bosses don't know I'm off next Monday and Wednesday to Friday next week yet.
Mu Lad is home for a month, which is plenty, the way he eats anyway.
Coming to Dinner is me, my O/H, 2 of my Lads, 1 partner, 1 teenager, 1 little lad, 1 mother in law, 2 Sister in law, 1 Brother in law.
Good Job you rang about your Daughter, looks like i's sorted then.

Nice watch though if your loaded.
Big Brother: Bea Gets Her Comeuppance
Today 13:37
At last! Big Brother mega bitch Bea Hamill got what was coming to her after fellow inmate David Ramsden gave her what for during a heated debate last night.
Now, when Bea was still hanging out with posh boy Freddie she couldn’t resist ranting about how much she hated Vivienne Westwood lover David…. But when Freddie got sick of her “negativity” and turned his back on her, she decided to trot over to camp David and Lisa.
Now whilst I spent many a night screaming at the TV as she kissed the asses of the pair in question I never really thought they’d realise what a total bitch she was… until David found out she’d nominated him that was!
David, who I love already simply because he’s from ‘up north’ like me, completely lost his temper with the bohemian babe who had assured him that she didn’t nominate him the day before.
The biggest kick in the ass for poor old David was that when Bea was upset earlier this week he gave her a big hug and tried his hardest to cheer her up… all whilst Bea was still harbouring feelings of resentment towards him.
However, keen to not let her off the hook, a seething David, 28, told Bea that she shouldn't expect any sympathy from him in the future, despite the fact that her rather feeble reason for nominating him was; "Yesterday, you said men give more attention to girls with big boobs."
So, has Bea finally got what has been coming to her for a week weeks now… could she be the one meeting Davina on Friday night? Oh please let it be true!

blinkbox: Top Gear and Doctor Who available for download. Again
By Ian Morris on 20 August 2009, 12:44pm
You can always tell when BBC Worldwide is dipping its toe into the tepid waters of online content licensing because suddenly there's a new way to watch episodes of either Top Gear, Doctor Who or both. And today is no exception, with the Guardian reporting that blinkbox has done a deal to show older editions via its online streaming and download service. Episodes will cost £1.89 a pop for a download or unlimited streams.
It's not just BBC content on blinkbox -- there's a wide variety of movies and free-to-watch TV shows too. We've had a quick look at a couple, and the quality is pretty decent and the ad breaks infrequent enough to make the process of watching enjoyable. Classic US TV series ER is available, as is the best TV show ever produced -- The West Wing -- all similarly priced to the new BBC content.
The BBC's public-service remit means that only shows over 180 days old can appear on a service such as this. We can't help wondering if the critics of the licence fee will once again point to this as a sign that the TV tax is overdue a radical reworking. However you look at it, selling episodes of TV programmes that appear quite regularly on Dave and the like is quite optimistic. Top Gear is also one of the most pirated TV shows on the planet, meaning the best bits are readily available to people to watch illegally for free.
Now -- the rant. blinkbox has some really good content. This is, in fact, the very service we've been yearning for, but once again, it's hobbled by DRM and stupid pricing. For example, the movie Watchmen costs £12 to download. You can only watch it on a PC -- there's no Mac support. The DRM means you won't be able to watch these downloads on a media streamer such as the Popcorn Hour either.
That said, there are plenty of free shows to watch on the service, supported by advertising. We've just missed our deadline because of episode one of Gene Roddenberry's Hercules in Space Andromeda. There are also programmes that aren't made of cheese with a soft cheese centre, deep-fried in cheese.
The biggest failure of blinkbox? You have to watch those vile, planet-polluting sell-outs U2 singing their ghastly nonsense while hawking mobile phones. Seriously, is there any depth to which those talent-free frauds won't delve to raise another couple of groats?

Pity i'm working this week isn't it, but can't be helped.
My bosses don't know I'm off next Monday and Wednesday to Friday next week yet.
Mu Lad is home for a month, which is plenty, the way he eats anyway.
Coming to Dinner is me, my O/H, 2 of my Lads, 1 partner, 1 teenager, 1 little lad, 1 mother in law, 2 Sister in law, 1 Brother in law.
Good Job you rang about your Daughter, looks like i's sorted then.
Hope Suzie's daughter gets good results, she will be so pleased.
Nice watch though if your loaded.
Hope your boss doesnt moan when you say you wont be in during those days, but at least you have held the fort this week.
That will be a nice family gathering tonight, hope you have enough chairs and a big enough table for them all.
colege phoned again and said we need to fill in an application form for the college, I told them we already have, so they must of lost it. I will be glad when this is all sorted now.
Randy Lisa pines for ex
SEX starved Lisa Wallace has said she wants her ex-girlfriend to greet her when she leaves the show.
In an early morning conversation lesbian Lisa told Bea Hamill she hoped to get to the final.
"I'm so randy," Bea told Lisa.
"Me, too. I'm going to ask Big Bro about my ex-girlfriend and get her down here for me in I'm in there in the final," the 41-year-old explained.
Lisa then told Bea being on Big Brother would not change her.
"I will be getting on the bus like I did before," she told the bohemian.
"Yeah, but you won't be getting on the bus and people thinking there's that woman with the Mohican, they'll be thinking there's Lisa from Big Brother," Bea suggested.

Can't be helped, if I'm not here, that's it.
I'll take a picture of the table tonight if I can remember, we have the original 6 chairs that came with the table, then we bought another 4 very similar that match.
The table top is an 8ft x 4ft sheet of wood with battens fixed on the underside just to position it on the original table.
The ends of the table are curved.
It gives you loads of room for food, not much room for walking.
Fancy the college not having your form, it's probably been put back in the wrong place by someone.
Lisa: 'I'm going out in my boxer shorts'
Day 78, 15:03 BST
By Jenni Marsh, Bollywood Reporter
Lisa has rebelled against the need to keep up appearances in front of the cameras by stuffing her shorts to make herself look like a man.
As Bea and the Brummie sat in the garden for their morning smoke, she announced: "I'm going out in my boxer shorts."
Bea replied: "You're not… what about your leather shirt?"
Lisa did not reply, stuffing her shorts as the housemates watched her prepare her eviction outfit.
"I'll put some socks down it like a bulge," she explained, "I'll sit there like that talking to [Davina] like that."

Hiya Mike
She has been offered a resit on one but I'm not sure about the other. One she's okay on and can go on to the second year so that's okay and it was in her favourite subject, Media studies.
I've told her to talk to her lecturers which she has agreed to do thank goodness.
How are you? you had a good day today
Quiet in here tonight isn't it
