It's what General Motors wrote about Microsoft.

http://flor.nl/text/microcars.html

That statement by GM is just about right.
When I had problems with a Computer the system asked what I had done to cause the problem, had I done this and that.
I wrote to Microsoft and said that when I write software and there's a problem it tells you what the problem is, and seeing that you wrote the operating system why are you asking me what the problem is, you should know.

Maybe we need a black box to find out what happened last.

Just looking for a previous post I made ages ago and saw this, from page 202.

I think they're making us think we are doing something wrong when in fact they wouldn't be able to tie they're own shoelaces if they didn't have someone to do it for them. Laugh
Probably all about the illusion of there's always something better, when in fact all we have now is more than we could imagine 10 years ago, in reality.

Also why spread misery it doesn't do you any favours at the end of the day.

I agree with what Kev is saying, you are a very nice person and kind and helpful to others on here.

My granddad always said "Don't do anyone a bad turn if you can't do them a good turn" - bit of Black Country I think, but basically the same kind of thing and I have tried to live by that.

Morning all, just took first antibiotics of the day, and am now waiting to have my rice krispies!

Put my first load of washing in as it's a nice day here, fed the cats and dog and after breakfast may take the dog for a walk, she has had her morning walk earlier and is fast asleep at the moment, but I may persuade her to come.

Hope everybody is having a nice peaceful Sunday morning.

Last Night in the BB house, Day 74/75.
---------
03:24 Looks like everyone's asleep now. All quiet.

03:05 Marcus is still awake. Does he ever sleep? It's spooky seeing his eyes open in the dark.

02:50 Marcus is at last getting into bed.

02:30 Not sure whether Marcus is in bed yet. Surely he's not still in the diary room. Maybe he's taking care of business in the garden. Sorry, didn't really want to put that image out there.

02:00 Daviduses his duvet like one of those pregnancy pillows, with one leg over the top. Not that I'm suggesting anything.

01:38 Looks like that's the end of the fun. Bea's turned her back on Charlie and all the HMs (apart from Marcus in the diary room) are quiet.

01:35 Charlie just spat some water in Bea's face and she got the right hump. "Don't ever, ever do that again. And I mean that, seriously." I think she means it Charlie. Seriously.

01:26 Be's frightening the HMs with a clawed hand and a wheeze. Hmm.

01:24 Suddenly, the HMs have all decided to go to bed.

01:17 They're talking about letters that they 're going to read tomorrow. Sounds like BB's letting them get a letter from the outside.

01:16 The HMs have just heard some drunk girls shouting Big Brother over the wall. Bea thinks they should jump over the wall and join them for a cider.

01:08 David very nearly burst the spacehopper then. No, not his large butt, it's a nail he's found sticking out of the fake grass. They're going to have to report that to BB.

01:04 Suddenly, everyone's up. Lisa and Siavash have joined the fun. Oh, wait a minute. Lisa's taken the space hopper away. "She's like a miserable neighbour," says David.

01:02 Now David's got up and the three of them are playing.

01:00 Sorry, forgot I was on a 24-hour clock for a minute. Anyway, Bea and Charlie have just got up and are playing with the space hopper. Yes, I did say space hopper.

00.58 Bea's in bed next to Charlie. She says she's bored and wants to do something.

00.57 Marcus has gone into the diary room.

00.55 Bea has just come out of the diary room. Marcus says "Hi Bea," and she walks away saying "God, that man". Does she mean Marcus or Big Brother?

The dark horse is still in the race

King for a day ... Marcus Akin

BEA Hamill wasn't the only one happy to see the back of Freddie Fisher on eviction night.

The bookies were also laughing as posh Freddie walked, having for much of the series been favourite to become outright winner.

Betting on Friday's eviction was also heavily weighted towards a Freddie victory, meaning more healthy profits for the bookmakers.

Freddie's eviction opponent, lambchopped window fitter Marcus Akin, remains in the game, even though he was adamant he wanted to get the BB boot this week.

After Freddie's departure, Marcus told his fellow housemates that the Oxford graduate was turned on by the voters because he was too confident of winning the vote.

The favourites to win Big Brother are now Siavash at 5/2, followed by Rodrigo at 11/4 and Sophie at 3/1.

Marcus, who calls himself 'the irrepressible dark horse' is also moving up the rankings, with his odds now standing at 5/1.

Hicky
I'm having a smashing time

Marcus Akin ... 'How do you like them apples?

IN THE diary room, Marcus Akin told Big Brother that he was "genuinely grateful" for being saved by the public.

He also said he was "not so happy" after beating Freddie in the eviction competition.

When Big Brother asked him why, the burly window fitter said: "Because you lock me in a house with f****** idiots like the one who just walked out the door (Bea Hamill had just left the room).

BB asked him to explain himself, and Marcus mocked Bea's whingeing, saying: "Oh, what about me, me, me."

"Everyone else," he went on, "is just bumlicking each other. I don't want to be stuck in a house with a load of bumlicks."

BB asked Marcus what his plans were for the coming week.

The 35-year-old Londoner replied: "I may just smash your poxy house to its foundations. How do you like those f****** apples?"

Sounds like the deadly eyebrow may be called into action before too long.

Morning Hicky and Mollie,

Well Iu go a lot of what I wanted to do early this morning, because when the antibiotics and painkillers for my wrist kick in I don't want to do anything as I feel out of it.

The dog didn't fancy another walk, she's a lazy so and so, people thnk greyhounds will be full of energy, when they see them race, well they should see my Roxy at the moment, fast asleep on the settee, all 4 legs in the air and a cat at the side of her, if I had my mobile handy, I'd take a photo!!

I see Charlie has been upsetting Bea, he is a real pain I think.

Anyway going to sit here a little longer and then going to watch the football on Sky. I've just been watching the athletics on BBC2, the amount of false starts in the sprint races was surprising.
â™ĨPinkBabe1966â™ĨThe Angel under the tree!
BB Charlie’s damp squib

BEA Hamill gave Charlie Drummond a real dressing down after he spat water at her in the bedroom.

After some late-night chat and a few goes on the space hopper that Big Brother gave them, the housemates went to bed.

But Bea was in a playful mood, and went round the bedroom, frightening everyone with creepy clawed hands and a wheezy voice.

Charlie nipped to the bathroom and came back with a mouthful of water, which he spat at Bea.

Initially, she seemed to take the joke quite well, but then her mood changed.

"That's a step too far," she said.

Charlie offered to swap duvets as Bea's was damp, but Bea said: "It's not so much about having a wet duvet, it's about spitting in my face."

Then she got really angry, saying: "I would never dream of doing that to anybody."

She grabbed her duvet back and said: "Don't ever do anything like that again, and I mean that seriously. It's really offensive."

Looks like Charlie could be next on Bea's hit list.

Good Morning PinkBabe.wavey

Do as little as possible and get as much sympathy as possible and let the Anti-Bio's and Pain Killers work, and while they work you don't.

Charlie would drive me mad, had a Geordie in the barrack room with me in Singapore and he was exactly the same.
He drove us all up the wall.
They don't seem to understand the difference between having a laugh and upsetting and hurting people, they don't stop when they should that's the problem.

Thanks Hicky, thats exactly what my husband says to me, he doesn't like me do anything once I have taken my tablets, not even a hot drink while he isn't home in case I spill it and scald myself!! Silly so and so he is!!

Charlie would drive me mad, I need space and quiet and him constantly playing up to the cameras would drive me up the wall, wonder if he will get nom'ed now by Bea?

Still watching the athletics and now they are doing the walk, don't know how long it is because on red button, we don't get sub titles, but it looks to me as if some of them are running almost.
