It's funny to think of you in Meols. When my parents used to live there, we used to go a lot, we liked to walk down the seafront there. they used to live in a bungalow. I really liked it there, very quiet, and handy for the train to town.

not too bad thanks hicky Hug although .. my throat has started to hurt again BADLY Confused
hows you sweetie? Hug

I wonder why your throat has started to hurt again? maybe you need to ring the Doc or help line to see if that is normal.
If it doesn't seem right you must ring someone and find out.
I thought you had passed that stage.

I'm Ok thanks, the Doc said my Elbow is fine, it will just need some time for the swelling to go back down.

the vets told us that she is responding to treatment , which is good, but she is not out of the woods yet, because her kidneys are only half functioning, so they want to carry on with the IV for an extra 2 days now.
So fingers crossed it works.

She did look a lot brighter when we saw her though, and they had a bowl of food for us to try and get her to eat. My OH was picking small pieces up and pretending to eat it, to try and get her to eat, but she just wouldnt. (I thought of Mike right then). Tommorrow they have told us to take some freshly chicken and rice to try and get her to eat that.

Hope you enjoyed Polperro. We went there when were on hols last March, but of course it was very quiet there then. Was there a lot of people there today? We thought it was a really nice beach there to stroll around.

Freddie says Lisa's out

Predictions ... Freddie

EVICTION survivor Freddie Fisher has predicted Lisa Wallace will be booted out on Friday.

The Oxford graduate made the guess while reassuring Sophie Reade, Rodrigo Lopes and Hira Habibshah they were safe.

He told them it was not the least popular housemate that would go but the most unpopular contestant.

"I think Lisa's going to go tomorrow. If Lisa doesn't go Dave will go," he explained.

"Mostly, probably 70 or 80 per cent Lisa, 20 per cent David." Freddie added. "I don't think anybody else is in the picture unless there have been factors I don't know. I think Lisa is gone."

Earlier in the week Freddie and Lisa argued about game plans.

The Brummie accused Freddie, who has been up for eviction a record number of times, of being cocky.

All 10 housemates are up for eviction tomorrow with viewers voting for the housemate they most want to stay.

Lisa is the bookies' favourite to go, followed by Freddie's pal Bea Hamill.

It is a nice place Meols, it's still the same now, nothing has changed really.
Think it only has one Pup, 'The Railway Inn', the name has been kept but it's run by The Hungry Horse', it's a pretty big place as well.
Free-standing in it's own grounds.

I can remember walking to the station from my parents bungalow, because it wasnt far. Is the Railway Inn by that station in Meols? I am trying to place it.

The Railway Inn is only about 300yds from the Station, a bridge runs over the Railway and the Inn is on the main road towards Hoylake.

Sick I hate cockroaches, they were everywhere in Queensland, when I was in bed one night one crawled over my face.. that was the night I decided to no longer live in that country!!

no Stella? no football tonight?

I've just been thinking about the voting with them all up.

It doesn't work really with it being a negative eviction against a positive vote.

What they should have done is to have a vote to save for 3 days, and the 4 with the lowest vote go into the hat on a vote to evict for the rest of the voting time.

That way it would most likely be that the one evicted would be the one that the public in general want out.

Hi guys.

Glad your dog is showing signs of improvement Mollie. Smiler
And the doc says you elbow is getting better Hicky. Smiler

Sorry you've got your sore throat back Tatty.

It's bad news for my Dad unfortunately. Frowner
He's been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer, which has already spread to his liver and stomach.
There's nothing they can do for him other than keep him comfortable.
They can't say how long he's got, but it's unlikely to be long. I was in seeing him tonight, and he looks weaker and more breathless than he did yesterday.
Even if they can alleviate his symptoms a bit, he's unlikely to ever be allowed home. Frowner

It's really taken me aback at how quickly it's come to this. He seemed normal a week ago. Eeker
It's really hit me quite hard actually.

I empathise with you. My dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer when I was 17 years of age and I wasn't allowed to come to terms with it because mum prohibited any discussion of the subject with him.

He died six months later and there was much left unsaid that unsettles me to this day. However, that was a long time ago when "the patient" wasn't allowed "full disclosure" of their prognosis for fear of detriment to their condition and ability to recover from it.

At age 58, I've now had a cancer removed and am in remission. On a personal front, I think it's important that everyone is honest about a prognosis because it provides the space to say what you need to say. Without this space the "hole" gets bigger!

I feel for you and yours. Hug

Sincere regards, suricat.

Good Morning Everyone.wavey

Hi Emptybox.
So Sorry to hear the bad news about your Dad Ian, this all seems very sudden doesn't it, you can only make him comfortable now.
It's all about pain relief now.
Sorry it's come to this.

Hi Darloboy.
I've just read the paper about Chanelle, a big shock that, I had thought they were happy together, but it seems that wasn't the case.
Just wish she could find the happiness she's looking for.

Just going to get the overnight news from the house.
Brb.

Last Night in the BB house, Day 64/65
------------
03:45 All asleep.

03:18 Rodrigo is telling Marcus that Charlie went too far, trying to throw him in the pool. "He went to my bed and attack me physically."

03:15 Wait a minute. Rodrigo's just come out of the Diary Room and now Big Brother's called Charlie in.

02:52 Marcus is still under his favourite duvet. Otherwise it's all quiet in the house.

02:30 All the HMs are in bed now, except - you guessed it - Marcus.

02:08 Siavash has gone into the garden to talk to Marcus. Marcus is asking him who he thinks will go. Siavash says probably Lisa.

01:53 According to Sophie, Freddie's got a semi. I thought he lived in a detached house.

01:51 In the heat of the moment, Freddie seems to have more or less slipped out of his boxers. Now Sophie has collapsed on teh floor with laughter. Poor Freddie.

01:49 Siavash, Freddie, Bea and Sophie are in the shower. Cosy. Everyone's tickling Siavash and he's crumpled on the floor. Who'd have thought a tickle could be so much fun?

01:46 The plan has failed. Rodrigo's not in the pool - he's headed for the Diary Room.

01:45 Typical. Charlie's saying: "Let's get Rodrigo." Watch this space.

01:41 The HMs have just dragged Freddie out of the bedroom and thrown him in the pool. Then Sohie and then Siavash. Then Bea and Charlie go for it. This could be a long and eventful night. Siavash says: "Well, that was a change from going to sleep."

01:37 Now most of the HMs are tickling each other. Rodrigo is very unhappy - and very ticklish. I haven't seen the HMs having this much fun since Noirin got evicted. It's a bit like watching a Laurel and Hardy film. And, unbelievably, Hira is still asleep - or at least pretending to be.

01:35 Sophie asks Siavash if he wnts some TM. He sys yes. It means Tickle Monster, and he gets some.

01:32 Cheeky Sophie has just pulled Freddie's pants down. "Sophie, you debagged me."

01:30 Sophie, Charlie and Rodrigo have called Freddie over to ask him a question. They really want to know if he's 'at it' with Bea, but they've lost their bottle and they're asking him to do his 'sexy voice'. He's loving it.

01:26 Now Siavash has gone to bed, and Sophie and Charlie are taking the Michael out of Rodrigo's dancing.

01:20 Sophie and Charlie want to know what star sign Siavash's girlfriend is. They're trying to work out whether he'll take her back. Trouble is, he doesn't remember her birthday. Oops!

01:15 Siavash says because of the guilt he feels, he couldn't ever go out with his ex again. He just wants to say sorry.

01:11 Freddie has just come out of the Diary Room. He's telling Marcus that they have hot water. "Goody goody gum drops," is all Marcus has to say about it.

01:05 Siavash and Sophie are whispering in the bedroom. He's telling her that he has no chance of getting back with his girlfriend. Hmm.

00:58 Lisa's in the kitchen with David. She's telling him that she has got on with everyone in the house (except Freddie). Not sure about that Lisa.
