the little doggie has pancreaitus. We hasnt been able to get her to eat a thing since last Friday, and had to give water with a syringe.

do you think the meds have helped you feel better so quickly?

awww as long as you can get fluids down it will help immensely .. thats the main food source when animals are ill. so if you can keep giving the fluids every hour or so, just bits at a time.

i still feel very drained, but the worse of it i think i am over, thank goodness, the worse was my throat out of it all, it has been killing me, but i have spray to numb it so that has helped as well.

Really sorry to hear about your dog Mollie.
Hope she improves.

My Dad has taken a turn for the worse.
He was OK while he was on his trip, but he's felt grotty ever since.
He had another CT scan on Monday and it seems that his diabetes has got out of control, and has affected his pancreas, liver and stomach.

He's not really eating anything, feels nauseous, has no energy, and is not sleeping properly. I've got to take him for another blood test tomorrow, but I'm hoping that the doctor takes him into hospital, or at least gives him something that makes him feel better.
I'm not sure if there's an awful lot they can do for him though?
Perhaps I'm being too pessimistic, but that's the way I feel tonight.
