It may be that you are trying to use an avatar that's too big for this site. It needs to be 48x48 in pixel size. Some can be resized in programmes like Photobucket then copy and paste that into your custom avatar space. you will need both tabs (sites) open to make it easier for copy and pasting.
If you don't get what I mean say and I'll try to explain it better. and more basically

Sorry to hear your wrist is playing up but hope that the hospital will soon be able to sort it out

PinkBaby... Hope the hospital visit goes ok tommorrow. xx I sympathsise with your techy puzzledom, I too find it all hard to understand. Is it a tab you want to open, so you have 2 pages open at once. It probably isn't that, but I had terrible difficulties working that one out, until someone said you press control and T. There is just so much to remember with these pc's.

I am worried about our little doggie, the vet says we have to take her back first thing tommorrow and she may need an anaestetic and an X ray if she is no better, inncase she has a blockage. I hope she hasn't eaten stones or anything. She gave her 2 injectiosn and the doggie howled in pain when the vet touched her intentine. The vet said it may be an infection, so has given her a antibiotic injection, and a painkiller one. She is just lying and sleeping all the time.

Aaaaawwwww poor little thing I hope they will be able to sort her out soon and she will be okay. Sleep may be the best thing for her , they do say that is the best healer

Hi PinkBabe.
You need to do one thing at a time.
Find the Avatar you want and highlight it, either press 'Ctrl'+'C' or right click and select 'Copy'
You have now stored the new Avatar, forget about it, it won't go anywhere it's stored for now.
Go to the page that you want to put your Avatar on, if there is already one there, just highlight and press 'Delete' and it will be gone, now left click in the box where you want to put your Avatar and press 'Ctrl'+'V' and it will paste your new Avatar where you have selected.

Most boxes stay open until you close them, you can see what is open by looking at the Task bar at the bottom of the screen , the oblong boxes are pages that you have left open.

Our pets have such big character's it's only in evidence when they are feeling poorly that we realise just how big they are

My Lad comes home on the 19th, we have the Turkey dinner on the 20th, we go to Longleat on the 22nd, get back on the 24th, go to London on the 26th.

P.S. I don't even think much of Turkey myself.

That (get back on the)should read 24th not 26th.I go to see the Doc on Thursday morning 9.30

The swelling has gone down an awful lot, haven't put a bandage on, was putting some ointment the Doc gave me to put on before it swelled up.

Thanks Mollie for the encouragement it is really appreciated

Tatty has started the medication and feels sleepy quite a lot so I let her rest when she needs it. She really was very touched by all the lovely get well wishes that you all sent her too

Sorry Mike wasn't ignoring you, my nephew came out to cadge a lift home as he'd had a row with his girlfriend.

I fell over at Ironbridge a few weeks ago and broke my wrist, because I have had swine flu I haven't been able to attend check ups to make sure everything is ok so I have to go tomorrow to have it checked out and strangely as I said to Suzie earlier, it's started really aching in the past couple of days.

So funny watching them trying to get up wrapped in clingfilm.

All they had to do is move next to one another back to back in two's sitting down and both push upward from the floor at the same time and you both stand up.
