It has gone down a lot, it's just a bit tight, so hard to bend much, no pain though so that's a bonus.
It's still pretty hot though which probably means infection.

I hope you'll get help with your gardening then over the next few days Hug You don't want to aggrivate it, I'm glad it's not painful though, that would be awful.

Hi Suzie.wavey
I'm not a gardener, thats Emptybox, I'm just a code writer apart from tending to my little veg plot.

It was your lovely vegggie plots I was thinking about as I saw the photos of your lovely garden Big Grin

Am going to start on my jungle this weekend as I really loved my garden before OH said he was going to relandscape. I'm still waiting for that to happen Laugh
Gardening is supposed to be a very good exercise too and what a reward for all that hard work Big Grin

Oh, I see, There's not a lot of wok involved with the veg plot and pots, just once a year to get it set up.

If you let it get overgrown it takes a lot to recover it back to normal.

I enjoy eating the fruits of my labour, but there's no point in doing it to save money because it probably costs me ten times what it would in the shops.

LISA BONDS WITH NEW HOUSEMATE

Lisa has made friends with new housemate David, who entered the 'Big Brother' house last night (17.07.09) along with four other contestants.

Lisa has made friends with new housemate David.

The jobless lesbian sat and smoked cigarettes with the 28-year-old new 'Big Brother' housemate as he spoke about his tough life, including the revelation his father died when he was just 16.

David also told Lisa he lived in a council house in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, to which she replied: "I've never had anything and I still don't."

David, 28, also claimed his family would be thrilled for him, as they knew how much getting onto the show meant to him.

He said: "They'll be in tears."

Earlier, the openly gay new arrival spoke with Charlie about how they both "came out". David - who dreams of becoming a male model - also claimed that "hundreds of married men have begged me for sex".

David along with the four other new housemates - Hira, Kenneth, Bea and Tom - have been given a secret task to convince the original contestants to nominate Freddie and Noirin for eviction next week.

I wouldn't mind a veggie garden. The last house we lived in had a large garden grew all our own fruit and veg. Tasted loads better than the stuff you buy in the shops.
Will have to put my name down on the allotment list and hope I can get one, although there has been a lot of theft going on down here from allotments. To a degree it's understandable but on the other why can't they help themselves by putting some hard work in or at least offer to pay the gardeners who grow the crops.
I remember when we first moved here that it took 3 years to really get a weed free garden and just the way I liked it. It was a really beautiful garden. Never mind will have another 3 years of great exercising and will hopefully have a talk of the town garden again Big Grin

It is nice to have the time and the room to grow some fruit and veg, I used to have all the fruit tree's but my land is just clay so I couldn't get the drainage and the soil needed for the roots, that's why I have a raised bed which seem very popular at the MO.
You can get all the material ready to put down quite cheap and you just get the compost and top soil/manure to fill the boxes.

I think it's the bast way to do it ,yself.

I might have to nick that idea of raised beds Big Grin although we don't need the drainage I think it would look quite nice in the front garden with roses and lavender in it Big Grin

I'm up to date now, I went out yesterday with my mom, dad, my 2 bros and my bros girlfriend and their baby to a football presentation. We wasn't originally going out after, but we was in a party mood so we went out clubbing down town and I got very drunk it was so fun Laugh Crazy. I've sobered up and managed to watch the new housemates arriving glad I missed it tbh I was enjoying myself too much Big Grin.

I take it you didn't go clubbing with all those that you went to the presentation with.

Why get drunk, you may be putting your health and safety in the hands of those that aren't concerned about you.
How do you know it was fun if you were drunk?

I think anyone getting drunk should be locked up for 3 months, bet that would help cure the problem.Big Grin

BB Charlie's a naughty boy, says his nan
Published Date: 18 July 2009

HAVEN'T they all been naughty this week?
I'm not too sure what's going on with them, they're climbing on roofs and chucking things into the swimming pool – it's madness.

Our Charlie did terrible on the word association task didn't he?
Mind, so did that Brian – but I thought he would have done a little bit better than he did.

I'm sick of that Rodrigo annoying our Charlie, he's a very bad influence on him.

I'm not too sure why he seems to wind him up so much – I think it's jealousy, he probably think's our Charlie is a threat to him.

I was livid when he poured oil over his bed, I know they had been messing around with water bombs during the day, but there was no need for him to do that – it's very nasty.

Then he tweaked his nose, I was watching the television and thought 'that bairn's nose is all red', then I realised what he'd done.

He'd better watch out though, there's only so far you can push a Geordie.

Marcus is making my whole body crawl. Isn't he awful?

I wish someone would come along and give him a good shave and haircut, that would sort him out.

Well, this time next week I'll hopefully have some new housemates to talk about. I think this will change the show quite a bit.

I like Hira and Bea, the blokes seem ok so far.

Not sure about the nominations this week, maybe it will be the 5 new ones and 2 from the oldies.

We should get some interesting stories from the new ones anyway.
Never got much from the oldies did we?

BEA
Age: 24
Occupation: Recruitment Consultant

Once expelled from an exclusive private school, Bea who is from Bristol, describes herself as bohemian, lazy and scatty.

Her ideal job would be a stylist, sex therapist or a mother.

She is currently in a faithful relationship but is in favour of multiple relationships, as long as each one is strong.

HIRA
Age: 25
Occupation: Fashion designer

Originally from Pakistan, Hira had an arranged marriage a year ago and now lives in Dublin with her husband.

She claims to be half vegetarian as she eats chicken once or twice a week.

She believes that she is tactful and wise and has the spark to make it in the Big Brother house.

KENNETH
Age: 24
Occupation: Self-employed "international playboy"

Jet-setting playboy Kenneth oozes confidence and loves nothing more than splashing his cash in expensive restaurants and designer shops.

He is currently dating Karly, who has been evicted from the house. He describes their relationship as strong.

His motto in life is "if it doesn't make money then it doesn't make sense".

DAVID
Age: 28
Occupation: Recycled clothing sorter and eBay retailer

David from Dewsbury says he is unlucky in love and is usually dumped.

He confesses to have only been in love once in his life and vows to fall in love again.

The nicest thing he has ever done is to give his sister a car.

TOM
Age: 27
Occupation: Chartered surveyor and yacht importer

The self employed former rugby player from Northampton admits to being a little bit spontaneous, once travelling over 22 hours, from Spain to London, to attend the Big Brother auditions.

He is a self-confessed control freak who deals with anger by exercising or shouting.

Possibility of 5 newbies, and a mix of Lisa, Marcus or Noirin. Freddie might be back in the nominations mix you never know. But if the newbies pass and say Lisa was in the mix, would she be up?.

I still miss Sophia, Angel and Cairon Frowner, their evictions sucked but they was against Freddie so was regrettably happy they went Smiler.

I can't see BB having 7 up for eviction, and I can't really see the the new ones being up either, they haven't done anything to deserve it.

I can't see the newbies passing, who is going to listen to them when you can't talk about nominations.

Good evening all

Poor Hicky Frowner Hug
what an awful evening for you last night. And I expect it was a busy time, to have to go to hospital. I hope these tablets help your elbow clear up now. I am glad they are checking up on you again Monday. I think that they should of let you see the doc, and not just the nurse last time. But at least now, you should have someone watching it properly until it clears up.

wavey Mike
hope your docs visit went ok. Hug

Kingkev... hope you are having a good weeekend.

Darloboy... lovely to see you back again. Sounds like you are enjoying your summer break. Smiler I still like Freddie.

Suzy ...hope you are getting some time to relax this weekend. What have you been up to today?

Tatty... hope you are having a good weekend.

I am done in today after going to Ikea, had a nice brekkie there today. Hubbie got some nice drawers that we needed, already assembled and half price from the bargain corner beause they had a slight chip on them. Then we went to visit hubbie's friend who lives in a nice flat ovelooking the river with lovely views of Cardiff and river from his balcony. So that was nice to see, there were lots of swans on the river. Then went to Asda to get my moms food, and the library to get her large print love books, then took the dog a walk, and had a long chat to a neighbour who proudly took us in her nice back garden to show it to us. Pppphhhewww, I need to sit down and watch BB now. Big Grin

Enjoy BB everyone.

Hope the tablets cool it down now Hicky. Try and eat a little when you take the tabs, so they don't upset your stomach.

Aaawww hot cute, hope the little one enjoyed visiting you. Smiler

It says that I must take the tablets on an empty stomach or 1 hr before I have a meal.
So with 6 and 12 I know that i won't hit my meal times.

The little ones are staying with us on a Saturday night now with their Dad, as he has moved to a new Flat in a secure building by his Job.
He was spending too much on traveling.

My other Lad has moved into his house as it's got a garden where the little one can play.

Bea gives Freddie a buzz

BIG Brother toff Freddie last night expressed his admiration for new arrival Bea.

Freddie, 24, told fellow housemate Noirin that the recruitment consultant "is definitely my type."

The pair had been bonding all evening. They shared stories over a glass over champagne and a cigarette. Bea spilled some of her drink over Freddie's jacket.

Bea, 24, said people "take the piss out of Big Brother because it's a tacky show, but I think this will be a mind-blowing experience."

Freddie said, "F**k yeah, man, f**k yeah."

Bea later settled down in the bed next to Freddie's as the housemates went to sleep.

A romance may be blooming...
Hicky
Kenneth popular among HMs

BIG Brother housemates seemed delighted to meet Karly's boyfriend Kenneth last night.

Charlie and Lisa told the millionaire that they felt that they knew him already because Karly had told them so much about him.

Freddie said, "I've heard a lot of good things about you and I'm really happy to meet you."

A tipsy Noirin said to Freddie, aka Halfwit, "I'm really surprised he's so nice. How can you hate someone so much and then get on with their partner so well?"

Let's hope Noirin doesn't cause any trouble...
Hicky
Tom slips down the pec-king order

NEW housemate Tom's toned physique last night divided opinion in the Big Brother house.

Tom, 27, paraded around the bedroom and showed off his assets while housemates were getting ready for bed.

Housemates had differing opinions on the size of Tom's pecs.

An unimpressed Kenneth said, "You train so hard, that's all I can say."

Bea however took a liking to Tom, telling Freddie, Charlie, Lisa and Siavash she'd "never seen anything like it in my life. I've never seen anyone so toned."

Camp Charlie said that it was "too much" and that he didn't fancy the Londoner, but that he thought that David did.

Siavash did take a fancy to Tom saying that he was impressed with his body, but would be too intimidated to have sex with Tom if he was gay.

But Marcus, in true Marcus fashion, told love interest Noirin that he thought Tom had a "fake walk".

Is someone jealous, perhaps?
Hicky
The thing is Ken knew that Karly was getting evicted, you could tell by the things he said to her, he kept saying, make the most of it as we haven't got long.

And there's no way BB was going to send him in if Karly wasn't getting evicted, they don't want a married couple in the house surely, they become a target for a start because each one will look after the other.
Hicky
Just popping in quickly.

One lot of visitors away (taking their dog), and another lot due tomorrow. Big Grin

That's pretty bad about your elbow Hicky. Hope it gets sorted soon. Frowner

Hi mollie. My Dad's trip is in the West Highlands and Islands. Cool
I think they take an ordinary train from Glasgow to Fort William, then a steam train from Fort William to Mallaig, then a ferry to the Isle of Skye.
They spend 2 days on Skye, then do the reverse trip (about 4 days in all).

Unfortunately he's not feeling all that great at the moment, complications with his diabetes, so he's not 100% certain to go, but I hope he does. Smiler

BB
I thought it was quite telling when Noirin said she "hated" Karly. I could tell she disliked her, but "hate" is a bit strong. Frowner

Night. Smiler
