Suzy
were you busy at work today. at you walking in the rain. We had some rain too, thank goodness, but not a lot. It has cooled it down a little, but it is still warm and muggy.
Hicky.... Thanks for all the BB stuff. Wonder what they have planeed for the birthday edition? The way things are going, they won't have any viewers left by then though. Don't forget to take your plaster off before bed tonight.
Do you think I am a big brave girl today? The dentist said I needed a filling patching up in my wisdom tooth, and he said he would give it a go without an injection, and if it really hurt I was to put my hand in the air. So I gritted my teeth, and he got on with it. It did hurt somewhat, but at least as he said, I now don't have a numb mouth for 3 hours, and the tooth is all fixed. I am glad he fixed it there and then, so I didn't have time to go away and get scared about it coming later. I was sweating like a pig when he was doing it though, so much that the plastic glasses steamed up.
Hi Mollie.
My plaster fell off anyway, but i'll put one back on in the morning.
You are brave, just wondering how you grit your teeth with your mouth open?
Did you get a sweet when he had finished?
I went to Sainsbury's to get some shopping in with a list, took a ÂĢ20 voucher I had and a ÂĢ20 note, didn't have my cards on me.
Got all the shopping in and was going to go through the checkout when I thought that this trolley full is going to cost more that ÂĢ40, so I rang my O/H, she wasn't pleased that I didn't bring a card with me and had to drive all the way down and meet me at the checkouts, silly billy, and I was only ÂĢ12 over in the end, I didn't get a lot though, it was mainly for the weekend.
Suzy
glad to hear you had such fun in the rain today. It is such a relief after all that strong sun to get a break from it.
Good evening Mike
Mike...., oh heck Mike, if you spent your mortgage on clothes, I hope that doesn't mean you will end up having to sleep in a tent in those new clothes.

that is an easy vote for me Mike.... I vote for the last option. You never know when you might need that piggy bank, especially if you are a home owner.
At least you now know you are safe in your own home, with them paying the mortgage for you. Is there a limit to the amount of time they will pay it for you ?

It is very much a family affair at work and the owners and their family love to spoil us and make us feel part of their family
I will certainly try to stay up, shouldn't have too much a problem as it's cooler down here so will sleep right through the night hopefully
Hi Hicky, Mollie, Suzie and Mike.
If it started raining now I'd run around outside naked...don't hold me to that.
Sounds like a great working atmosphere for you in your job Suzie.
Football was great, got used to running around in the heat after about 30 mins. I kept pouring cold water over my head Hicky, that was heaven.
My feet were burning, I don't know how people in hot countries play all the time.

Last night I dampened a towel with water and rubbed all over chest and face, with the fan blowing on me it helped keep me cool enough to get to sleep. I had to keep doing it though and I keep waking up in the night so I had to do it again then too.

That's nice. Now I am beginning to understand why you enjoy your job so much.
I ma going to try and stay up too, hope it is worth our while.

Glad you coped with the football, hope you have drunk lots of water to replace fluid.

that was a clever idea, and at least it got you some sleep.
I too had to have the fan on me all night.
I dread to think what our electric bills will be like, with all the fans we have going in our house.
Is it any cooler up there yet tonight?

Had almost a litre in an hour.
I felt like sleeping in the car last night with the engine running and the air con on full. But with being drunk that wouldn't look good if the police knocked on the window.
Drunk in charge of a vehicle I think the offence is called.
It's actually hotter.

Kev
Believe it or not I have actually done that as a truth or dare thing and it was the most liberating feeling I ever had and yes I was pretty much tanked up on white rum at the time
It's one of the best places I have ever worked at
Glad to here everything went well at footy, now you need a bowl or foot spa to cool those feet
Mollie
The atmosphere is one reason but the job itself is very satisfying and very important to us all as well
From Hicky's updates I should imagine there could be plenty but who knows what they will do with their editing

Hi Mollie.
Don't worry about the cost of having your fans on to move the air to try and cool yourself.
A fan is one of the cheapest things to run, they are just an AC motor and use very little power, about the same as a 40 or 50 watt lamp.
So it would only cost about 12p for 24hrs, that's 2 nights.
6p a night isn't bad.
electric only becomes expensive when you are cooling water etc or heating it.
It's just as warm here tonight as yesterday.
Marcus, Sree clash over shopping list
Day 29, 18:59 BST
By Rebecca Routledge
Marcus and Sree have had an argument over ordering this week's shopping.
Charlie was writing down what the housemates wanted, with Marcus acting as his advisor. Meanwhile, Sree was trying to help Charlie out with the maths.
However, the Indian student began to struggle, while Marcus started mocking him.
Nothing more was said about the matter, until Sree tried to grab the book containing the shopping items available to order.
"I need to get myself some things," he stated.
"You're not taking the thing while we're all looking at it," Marcus complained.
"It's everybody's property. It's not your duty, okay," replied Sree, snatching the book. Charlie then added a few items to the shopping list at Sree's request.
Marcus muttered under his breath: "Right fuxx off."
"Don't swear at me okay," Sree snapped.
The argument moved into the garden, at which point both Marcus and Sree were called to the Diary Room to explain their behaviour to Big Brother.

nice to have such lovely surroundings too..
at Siavash in the task tonight..
Hicky... thanks for the fan info, didn't realise they were cheap to run. Good, we can carry on fanning away in the heat.
The bad thing about this weather is that it's hotter inside than out.
I feel really sorry for Freddie, at least he has Marcus and Siavash.
Looks like Charlie likes him too, but I won't hold my breath waiting for him to stick up for him.

The problem is that when some have been against Freddie, they don't want to be seen by others changing their minds.
KingKev... yes poor Freddie, with that horrible lot ganging up on him. As you say at least he has Marcus and Siavash being ok with him, but I don't think Freddie could really rely on Charlie's support if Charlie's "cool gang" are around him.
Hope you get some sleep tonight.
Goodnight all

Yep, Fans are about the cheapest thing you can have.
It becomes more expensive if you have aircon, even aircon running in your car is expensive because the power needed to run in has to be produced by the engine over and above the power needed to drive the car, so you pay by using extra fuel when the aircon is running.

Last Nights news from the BB house, Day 29.
-------------
03:55 All quiet in the bedroom.
03:20 Freddie and Marcus are heading for bed. Different beds, obviously.
03:14 Charlie heads off to bed and everyone says their goodnights.
03:05 Charlie, Siavash, Noirin and Rodrigo are on the beds talking AND Rodrigo is giving Charlie's feet a little rub. Look out!
02:59 Sree want to shake everyone's hand in the bedroom. He's even trying to wake people up to shake hands.
02:44 Sree is lying on the bed, having a good old scratch of his nether regions.
02:29 Freddie and Marcus have gone outside for a chat.
02:26 Marcus looks utterly bored.
02:21 Siavash is trying to lock Freddie in the bathroom with a mop handle.
02:20 Sree is now in the bedroom. He's telling the HMs that Freddie said: "Dude, don't look at me, I'm naked."
02:15 Sree has been showering for over 10 mins. Is that a long shower?
02:10 Freddie and Sree are in the bathroom; Freddie in the bath, Sree in the shower.
02:06 Lisa says she's been with loads of straight women who just liked her and wanted to try it. "Just let me know, Noirin, if you want an experience."
02:02 Charlie's thinking about trimming his eyebrows with an electric razor.
01:52 Sree asks Rodrigo how he would feel if he goes tomorrow. Rodrigo says this week he's been nice so he would feel sad. If it had been last week, he'd've been happy.
01:51 Kris is in bed. He's the first to bed down. Could be a big night.
01:49 Noirin and Marcus are talking to Freddie about the eviction. Noirin says Sree is the clown and BB would need to replace him if he goes.
01:47 Kris, Lisa, Karly and Chris are discussing Freddie.
01:45 Sophie gives Rodrigo's bum a pinch. "Peachy bum, Rodrigo." Think you're barking up the wrong tree there, Soph.
01:41 Marcus and Sophie are playing the knife between the fingers game - with the blunt end of a fork.
01:38 Sophie and Noirin are punching Siavash to see who's strongest. He's lovin' it.
01:37 Siavash is trying to convince the HMs to go for a swim.
01:33 Lots of HMs in the kitchen. Rodrigo and Sree are doing something with cheese.
01:30 Kris and Sophie are having a snog. He says he's knackered. She says I'm not surprised. Nothing changes.
01:25 Now she's saying she loves powerful men. Noirin, are you trying to seduce Marcus?
01:23 Noirin and Marcus are in the living room. She's telling him how great men are.

Freddie: Lisaâs a cunning fox
Published: Today
Grudging respect ... Lisa Wallace
WHILE the other housemates slept, Posh Freddie Fisher admitted to Marcus Akin that he actually admires his nemesis, 41-year-old Lisa Wallace.
"In some ways, we're spookily similar," he told the 35-year-old window fitter, "and in some ways, we're completely opposite.
"But I do have a lot of respect for her. She's a cunning fox."
"Karly said to her, 'I really like you because you're an open book' I had a little laugh about that," said the 23-year-old Oxford graduate.
Freddie is up for eviction this week, along with 25-year-old Student Union president Sree Dasari.

I've just read a report in the Welwyn & Hatfield Times, Hertfordshire about Sree facing eviction tonight.
I won't show the report other than to say it is supporting Sree, but it gives the phone number to ring to keep him in the house, the only thing is, it's a vote to evict, so everyone that rings is helping to get him out.

Big Brother star Imogen contracts swine flu
Friday, July 03, 2009, 07:50
BIG Brother star Imogen Thomas is under quarantine after contracting swine flu.
The Llanelli-born 26- year-old was diagnosed with the potentially-fatal virus on Monday after returning from a holiday in Marbella.
She has since been isolated at her flat in London and is taking antiviral medication Tamiflu.
In an exclusive interview from her home, she told the Post: "It's awful, I feel drowsy and need to sleep. Swine flu isn't exactly a good souvenir to bring back from holiday."
It is thought one of Imogen's holiday pals is also being treated for swine flu since they returned to the UK on Sunday.
Former Miss Wales Imogen is one of 7,447 people across the UK being treated for swine flu. In Wales there are now 34 cases â with four new cases confirmed yesterday.
