Thanks Kaffy. I did say 'and thanks to the others who run the forum too,' though, in the original post, so that kind of extended into the second post too.. ie; The thanks for the smilies was aimed at the others involved in running the forum too. Thanks anyway though And thanks to Dave for the smilies if he was the one who put them in

Hi Cheeky - I was just being funny - you should try to find the thread, Dave was putting them on and getting no end of grief for not being quick enough and he said he was only doing it 'inbetween doing his real job'... hence the heart surgeon stuff starte.d You probably had to be there, but it was really fun. Love the mods in the forum .. .still can't quite believe our luck landing here!

Errrr, no actually I'm not. So I'll clear that up straightaway. Cheeky - check out my post with the link to the funny thread. Just want to say here that I think Dobby was joking - it's the sort of thing we say up here all the time 'Oh you SOOOK!' if someone is being nice, it's meant in fun, not as an insult. Like if a toddler comes and give you a cuddle you'll say 'Oh you're a wee sook' etc. Sometimes things don't translate very well in text and I know Dobs isn't a negative type of gal!

Oh thanks Kaffy. But I didn't know if Dobby was joking or not. I don't know her you see, I just saw the 'you're a suck up' comments and was a bit offended to be honest, as I was just being polite.

I don't know Dobby so didn't know any different, and she hadn't come back on the thread to say anything else. (ie; to say she was 'just kidding')

Thing is, I have seen so much negativity and nastiness on these boards this past few days that I just assumed it was someone attacking me Guess it is easy to get over sensitive on here when the tension is running high.
