You may have a better chance of getting a reply from Dave if you send him a PM. If you're not sure how to do this, hover over the LiveCloud logo at the top (not the GaGa one) and select Your Dialogs. Then click on Start New Dialog. The procedure is then very similar to how you start a new topic. The big difference is that you have to select a participant before you post your message, else your message won't go anywhere. So towards the left of the screen, click Add Partcipant. By default, the screen will show your buddies. If Dave isn't a buddy, select Network Members. At present the screen is blank, so you need to put Dave's name in the Filter box, then click Go. You then get all the possible choices appearing.Select the correct one, then click on Continue with Dialog Creation.

Of course, if the name is just Dave, then unless he has got one of the distinctive avatars such as the lifebelt one, you have no way of knowing which Dave it is. You could select every Dave, but that would seem a bit desparate!
