You'll never think like a woman or a guy.
Bottom line.

It's not velvet now Baz, It's Rita
JK Rowling is not cancelled in my books. The treachery involved in that. You wouldn't exist all you no marks.

I don't understand all the negativity towards transgender - I doubt a very small group of people are going to destroy female/male identity. All I see is some people really struggling and hope for understanding and acceptance ... a bit like gay people, no? And we don't seem to have a problem there.

I can totally understand having a preference as to a sexual partner Renton , but Im afraid I do feel the explosion in the desire to change your gender is todays *fashion* . That being said itβs each to their own ,

I can't see any 'explosion'? Where did you read that? Or are we being 'told' there is one?
I get the feeling we are spoon fed fear to sway our opinions. I hear so many sound bite headlines with precious little data to back up the claims. And are we going to demonise a whole group of people based on issues with changing rooms and toilet safety? What a bizarre world.

I understand what you are saying Renton , and I try not to be swayed by sound bites β¦.but re the changing rooms/ toilets argument , I have to say that personally , I for one, wouldnβt want a person who said they identified as female , but was actually still *sexually* male , in the loo with me . But like I said , thatβs just my point of view , and I certainly wouldnβt try to impose my ideas on anyone else .

I'm 100% with you on that Baz.
At our centre in Manchester we had two or three self identified individuals, which isn't an issue for any reason other than the bathroom facilities...they were asked to use the disabled room as it was unisex.
In some ways I think they preferred it as embarressment/dignity cuts both ways.
If disabled toilets are unisex . . . . makes you think
There are four at a place called Bunny Hill in Sunderland - we used to go there and no one had a problem with everyone using them - they were in clear view of the crowd waiting to see the doctor. Same in our doctors surgery

Are they cubicle toilets Saint or little rooms?
The disabled toilets at our centre were single rooms but the ladies and gents were cubicle...
They were a proper little room
