I've been googling the castor oil treatment Ros, sounds like a good option and won't harm the next doors cat

as far as I can tell your spray it on as a castor oil water mix???

I've looked Ros, most say castor oil and washing up liquid... better than poison

Do you know if there's anything in partic that brings them around your neck of the woods?

I have been moaning for days, did you think I wanted to keep them for pets?

Pam, I live next to fields and behind my house are trees and bushes, natural vole habitat, there is nothing in my garden to eat apart from the grass roots  I know they are going to bugga the lawn up for summer

I doubt that dame, we have them in Leitrem, they like water ways, we have a small bridge to connect the drive to the road and they live in the bank under and along it, if it dries out too much they move on..

these are the field mice/voles Stonks, that live off young shoots, we have had them before in another house and the holes and tracks are exactly the same... not the water voles whom live in a different habitat.

aahh well I'd go with the washing up water, it won't harm them but they'll feck off and it does your lawn good..even though enviromentally your not meant to do it..

that's what I'm thinking Stonks, I can only try and its not harming other pets around my garden...castor oil and washing liquid, I will give that a go...otherwise  I will end up like a Chilean miner hanging the washing, they are all over the flipping place.
