I have a back lawn like a sponge, I hang washing out and do back flips... I have tunnels just under the surface all over a 12 foot area I have asked for sensible answers, cos them lot in the crib just take the p*ss (apart from Ros)

Problem one, I can't be doing with traps because I wouldn't be able to empty them.

Problem two, the next door neighbours cat sits on my fence under a overhanging branch and as much as I dislike cats, I would hate to be putting anything down that could harm the cat.

Any advice would be appreciated

But you haven't actually asked us to help. You've just said you have them

Do you know if there's anything in partic that brings them around your neck of the woods?

I have been moaning for days, did you think I wanted to keep them for pets?

Pam, I live next to fields and behind my house are trees and bushes, natural vole habitat, there is nothing in my garden to eat apart from the grass roots  I know they are going to bugga the lawn up for summer

the mole trapper doesn't have his terrier now, it died, otherwise I would have called him in

The only other thing I can think of then is to put chemicals down and asking your neighbour if she wouldn't mind getting a litter tray and keeping the cat in for a couple of days
