help with a book title please..!

this is a bit of a long shot-but ive tried the net-so i thought id ask here

its a kids book-i cant remember a lot of detail but its about a young kid who goes back in time
to WWII
he meets a young girl in a pawn/rag & bone shop and he goes throught the blitz with her
and at the end of the book he goes back to his own time
its not a very old book-maybe 10years?

not much to go on sorry-but i'd be grateful for any ideas
