but all videos on my pc simply stop and start (buffering) every ten or eleven seconds. I know that a while ago I deleted a load of stuff on my PC and it seems to have affected my ability to view video clips. does anyone else have the same problem? Any advice (not too techie) would be most welcome.

might be something to do with adobe soozy...have you got the latest version. I'd wait for Zaphod (or the other teccy types), though.

I think it is something to do with Abode .....any idea how i'd be able to download the latest version? I am a complete thicko I'm afraid with regard to techie stuff.

I get that problem from time to time, the solution I've found is to let the vid play through even though it's buffering - and make a cup of tea while it's doing that lol - and then click Replay and it plays all the way through, hope that's the solution for you too

ermm...google 'adobe' and then download the latest reader. hope that helps

Set to max

I have this on Youtube and think it is caused by your broadband speed not being fast enough. The speed of Youtube downloads will depend on the graphic resolution of the clip - the higher the resolution the longer it takes to download. Also if the clip is just music with still photos, the download will be much faster.

What I do to avoid the halts is to click on the pause icon, let the download continue, not necessarily until it's complete but has made decent progress, then click on the pause icon again.
