I have been using the lap top for months but my husband and grandson have taken over tonight. I'm using the new PC and ga ga comes up as reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeely tiny. I can't seem to enlarge it. The page is narrow and the text minute (it used to be OK) SOMETHINGS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PRESSED THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE. I'm really not familiar with this PC - it runs on Vista and my browser is google chrome.
I'm not in the least techie .............has anyonr any advice?

Soozy on the RHS at the bar on the top is the tool bar -looks like a spanner
Click on that
click on zoom and get the page to 100% - see if that is it.

Do you not have a View button Soozy? If so, if you click on it and then click Actual size.....
Minimise all windows. Right click anywhere on the desktop background, choose personalise, then display settings (it's down a little bit). Change your screen resolution. The smaller the first number the larger the text will be. I can't tell you what's ideal for you without knowing the size of your monitor.
Thanks all .......................I'm now back in charge of the lap top - it was seriously hard work in the other room! - I'll take all your advice(s) and have a go in the morning.
Thank you.

That's the one to try first, Soozy.

I am always reducing or expanding my flipping pages... normally by accident
Soozy, if it's just Gagajoyjjoy pages which have shrunk, it will be the browser Zoom function which you need to look at. It's in the View menu. You will see that you can increase which is what you need, or decrease the size of the page. If you are using Firefox, then choose the Reset option from Zoom,
The chances are that at some point you were pressing the Ctrl button at the same time as using the scrolling button on your mouse as this also controls the Zoom. I discovered this by accident a couple of days ago when suddenly these pages became gigantic.

Sorry I know nothing about Chrome Soozy but hope the advise given by those that do works....think of the new PC as a promotion, not a demotion!
Google Chrome (which you are using) seems to be fine for people on here, so it's probably something small and not a problem with Google Chrome itself. Hope you get it sorted.
am fairly sure holding the ctrl button down and pressing the + button, [which enlarges text] works on any type of browser and similarly holding ctrl and the - [minus] button makes things smaller
Thanks everyone - all sorted now - you're a clever bunch!
