could the fan be over heating? bit of dust in it maybe
Have you run a virus scan, defrag etc?
unplug your modem for ten seconds then try again usually works for me
Put the hoover over the back incase of dust.Ran a scan and it says it's clear of all viruses. That's the baffling thing. What's defrag please explain to an imbecile.

No
Your tower could be overheating,You should get the vacuum out and clean the air vents etc that lead to the fan.I can talk! my cousins partner came to clean our tower out. He's good at techy stuff and took the tower apart etc,we didn't clean it for ages, you should have seen the dust and muck inside the tower and on the fan.Ahem, the air vents were clogged with our rabbits hair.
Katty you maybe right I only put the hoover on the outside of vents.I'm a bit frightened to take it apart.

Defragmentation compresses files and creates more room on your comp for files etc.You should do this evey couple of weeks.Go into "START" then "ALL PROGRAMMES" Then "ACCESSORIES " Then "SYSTEM TOOLS" then DISC DEFRAGMENTATION"
Does the fan make a lot of noise,it could be struggling if it's dirty.
No the fan isn't making a lot of noise Katty,It says there is 57% free space.
I'm always having problems with it everytime it's something different.
