They are so far from what I'd choose but it feels like I'm having a conversation with my own mother.  They are her type of names too

(what else do you hate? )

I could be you forum mum if you like .........I already have Aimee as an adopted daughter - I taught her everything she knows about buggering up white goods.

That sounds good.

You have now gained 2 new grandsons who would like to stay with you during all school holidays   Do you do overnight babysitting of newborns?

Boy's names are really hard ... it took us a week to name our son, even now we call him The Boy, because that is what he was known as for that week!

Friends of ours called their boy Alexander, Zander for short. Over time he became known as Zanderman, which I thought was really cool, then he went to secondary school and got called ... Alex

Actually I don't think you spell it like that.

It's quite a traditional (jewish?) name I think - it was Al Jolson's real name. Maybe it's Aisa or something like that.

When I was 40 I trained and did 18 months in house training for a PGCE. Once I'd finished I thought ..............errm - no thanks.

I worked for five years as a teaching assistant before that.

Nice, i would love to work in school, bought a course last year on group me and after researching the qualification it gave i ended up getting a refund as it wasn't a very good one

I can't tell you how relieved I am that you hate the names .......I had an awful feeling that you might take the idea and run with it
