*ahem*  MY initials are BJ....

ooh err, missus.

Good job I've got a middle name too, eh?

Ooh, middle names. Mine's Terence. I hated it as a kid, but i kinda like it now. If only I'd been called Bernard too:

Bernard Terence Rawlings

Oooh, classic.

Rawky-Roo

Just a heads up.....(ohhhh no pun intended there for the BJ reference)

I've asked Jen to go through the thread and delete any mention of my surname because I've just realised it's a bit too much info for a forum thread lol especially because my sons are also named here too.

But I want to keep going with the thread because you are all useless and making me laugh very helpful and I really appreciate it

You're welcome to delete mine too if they're too much of an indication or giveaway

I'm not keen on Rawky's suggestion.  Next he'll be suggesting gold ties for the christening.

Not even Harrison?

Totally understand, especially the bit in bold above.

It's your thread lovely, you can do whatever you like

For a girl I have a few names I have always liked. Hannah, Emily, Charlotte to name three. They just seem very clash names to me.

I would like to change my name to Xavier.

Hannah is a lovely name.  I just know I'd call her Hannah Banana though.

I probably shouldn't tell you that my great niece Abby gets 'Abby Kebaby' or 'Abs Kebabs' then eh?

Mine gets called 'Ab Fab'....somewhat preferable?!

Considered any Irish names Ells?

I think Oisin is nice for a boy.

My eldest has an Irish name (Caolan) so I wouldn't rule it out.  Just haven't seen any that I really like yet.

I love so many Oirish names...maybe it's because they're less familiar here?

Yes, just like the medicine.  I actually hadn't associated the name with that before and he's 12 but now that you mention it...

Exactly.  You's have been as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Although you's have also been a lot more help than my OH who just says No to everything except Mason as he had been told from day 1 that that's what I was naming the baby so he better get used to it.  He's gotten used to it and now I'm not so sure.  I think he might kill me soon.

I may regret this in time: but I'm with your oh: free mason; stone mason, fruit mason, fortnum and mason etc. etc.

I like Saoirse, Niamh and Siabohan for girls and Christie, Hugh and Darcy for boys

Patrick or Logan?

Sinead?

Finn? (maybe a bit close to Vinnie though).

erm... will ponder further.

I like Sinead. If I'd had a boy he would have definitely be called Finn, (my gran's maiden name,) I have a great nephew called Finlay now....he's an absolute delight
