.....kinda!

I'm stuck for names for the baby.  Yes, it's a little early but I need time to get used to the name and persuade my partner to go along with it.

So far I haven't found one I really LOVE but am swaying towards Mason although I'm not sure it fits with my surname.

I'd like some help from you lot.  What's a nice name to you?  Are my shortlist names awful?

Boys:

Mason

Kyle

Brody (although not too sure about this one)

Girls:

Maddison

Abigail (Abbie)

Amber

Leila

And I will add to the thread as we go along and see if we can find a name for this baby before it's born!

Just to add... I'm not too keen on very traditional names like George, William, James.  Alice, Susan, Mary etc as although they are nice, they just aren't what I am keen on.

I also don't like names like Chardonay, Mercedes, Octavia, Rooney, Apple, Moondust, Pilot Inspektor or anything too out there.

(I hope I haven't offended anyone with those names.....they're just not my taste)

 ROFl @ Pilot Inspektor

I like Mason and Kyle, and the four names for a girl.

I like Abbie and Amber too

I dunno Sprout, Mason..... not 100% sure on it but the middle name will be Michael (after my Dad) so I think that makes it a little easier on the tongue.

Kyle is actually a name that is already in the family but I just feel like saying so effing what?  It's not like 2 cousins can't have the same name, especially when their families aren't close.

I like Ava for a girl or Hermione, I didn't think Aimee could be shortened but we've all seen it can be everyone calls her AIms except me I call her Aimeeee as it's meant to be pronounced (if you get what I mean, it's got that little dash above the first E, I can't think what it's called at the minute )

Machel....were they related??

Yogi, the guy from My Name Is Earl actually called his son Pilot Inspektor!

Sprout, Grace is a lovely name but it is the middle name of my newest niece and my sister would have a hissy if I even dared!

Rog, Kyle seems to have the reputation of being chavvy on some of the forums I've been on too.

 That borders on child abuse!
