I think this is a Quality Control issue When was the last time you ate Quality Street? Can you be sure that they haven't altered the flavours? Discontinued your favourites? Imagine if you resisted temptation and opened the tin in Christmas week only to be disappointed ... I would open it and test them now. Then, if they meet with your approval, buy another tin for Christmas, otherwise invest in a tin of Roses.

Hope this helps

I only buy the tin's at Xmas, as a treat to myself, I love chocolate and have a little bit every dat nearly except weekends when beer is more important. I'm just worried they won't be on offer at the cheap price again nearer Xmas. I'm lucky I don't put weight on easy so eating the whole tins contents is not a troublesome issue for me.

Poolie - I've been thinking about this long and hard....

I think you SHOULD eat them as a sort of pre xmas celebration.
Then if you like them you can buy more but if you don't then you can buy something else.

Also they are nearly all half price so it would be a shame

AND
....

We are in a recession so the more we buy the better it is for the economy so technically you will be saving the country from economic ruin.
