You all seem like a nice bunch of community focused individuals, so I thought who better to ask for help.

Over the years I have ammased an extensive collection of film and TV shows on VHS, but as new technology comes along I always update, currently replacing everything with Blu-ray discs.

Up until now I have never parted with any of my previous purchases, be they VHS or DVD. But I have decided to have a big clear out.

My question, where in your opinion would be the best place to give my entire collection of VHS tapes to?

Initially I thought the Oxfam shop, but there may be other organisations who might be better placed to make use of them.

They are all in excellent condition and the types of films are wide (Sci-Fi, Cops & Robbers, Comedy, Westerns and TV shows).

How about womens refuges? Sally Army?

Lots of places would be happy to accept Nod

Care homes and agree with your other suggestions. Thumbs Up

I think there would be some care homes that would love them. A lot of old folk have their own TV's with video attached. I'd ring round and ask .................old folks charities often get left out.
