I've still got two months left to go and the baby seems to be moving about an awful lot. I know that it's supposed to be a good healthy sign but it keeps pushing feet, elbows and it's head so hard that I can see the shape through my tummy. I just want to ask if it's normal for the baby to be as active as this?

Lol! Yes it is! Cherish it
If you're worried at all, go to see your doc or the midwife, but I remember a lot of 'dancing' in the latter stages.

It's completely normal for the baby to be very active at this stage. It's only in the last month when there isn't much room to move around in there that it settles. Don't worry, just enjoy the experience. Your baby is saying hello and communicating in the only way it can at the moment
Blimey. It feels like something out of Alien. I keep having to try and move it's head down because it pokes out under my right boob and I can't breathe properly.
Its getting mighty uncomfortable for your baby in there now,and yes its normal dont worry.
It's normal.
Every day you should keep an eye on movement of the baby.

It's actually the only thing I miss about pregnancy (the rest of it's yucky); it was so intriguing; trying to make out what body part was poking out was fun

its proberbly babies bum you are feeling at this stage, or esle he/she is trying to turn around ready for the birth
Thanks everyone, it's very reassuring to know that it's normal. I didn't realise it was going to be quite so athletic at this stage.

Isn't nature wonderful! I used to lie in the bath absolutely fascinated at being able to identify little hands and feet.
When my sister in law was pregnant with twins, well, all I can say is that watching her tummy was unbelievable!
You're perfectly normal and I would only worry if you could actually make out whether you're having a boy or a girl...

Oooh I love their little toes....TBH I hate feet but just love baby feet so lovely to kiss ....On seconds thoughts I love babies from head to toe.
I think I must be missing a gene or something because I think it's a horrible feeling! It makes me feel quite queasy to watch.

There's also an element of enjoy it now, because once junior comes out kicks like that usually come with very loud cries

it's when you're in the bath and you see it moving in the water that I found freaky

Oh don't worry Queen. Yours doesn't have the nappy on!
I loved seeing all these funny shapes poking out of my tummy. It was 29 years ago, and I still remember the feeling even now.
