She was coached through the final week, that's why we had her telling the Hms that she will say sorry to Zoe only and the rest can get stuffed (during the Press Task) FF 5 hours and she is kissing Ashleigh, saying sorry, calling a truce, 24 hours before the lines close on the final night  of BB.

 It was so obvious.

 

14 warnings in four days is beyond ridiculous.

If only we'd had Ch4 rules of 3 warnings and you're out!

There have been a number of concerns raised around the voting practices on the winning night; including the claim that many were unable to connect to their chosen housemates vote line. We demand an independent and impartial investigation into potential unethical practices that may have been employed.

There is a petition ongoing to get gobby Helen Woods title and prize money taken off her. Helen Woods has got be the most undeserved winner in Big Brother history and her winning the title after what she has done in that house is an absolute joke. NO HM in the history of the show was ever allowed that many warnings before being ejected from the house...it is disgusting that Helen was let off the hook so many times.

 

"Nasty"Nick was booted off the show for writing names on a piece of paper, with no warnings.

I agree Vids. All hm's should be treated equally without special privileges for some.

Twas wondering if the voting system of "you decide" coupled with the rule whereby Ch5 are able to adjust/reset the voting at any time and at their discretion ... is fraud?

I signed last night. If any other hm had received 14 warnings in four days would they have been allowed to stay?

I really want to know the context of these warnings and think BB  should be honest and clarify them.

.. and yet people voted?   That's what I don't get.   I take it for what it is.. trashy, mindless telly - I don't invest anything in it, so I don't understand why people are still seething about it days later.  Come the end of the show, it's history to me.

TV watchdog Ofcom has received over 400 complaints about the Big Brother 2014 final.

 

The company has confirmed that to date it has had 428 standards complaints since the BBUK finale aired last Friday on August 15.

While a breakdown of what the complaints are about is not available, no doubt most of them relate to Helen Wood’s controversial win over Ashleigh Coyle.

The numbers make the episode the most complained about of the series, with more than 300 being received about Helen Wood’s behaviour earlier on in the latest run.

In all, Helen’s actions on the show have totaled some 1,500 complaints over the past three months.

With regards to the final, many have claimed that they were unable to vote for Ashleigh in the last few minutes of the votes with some saying that her voting line closed 5 minutes before was announced on TV.

However it does appear that at least some of these complaints stem from confusion: The mobile voting’s app purchase system has always closed 5 minutes before the lines did, as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

While Ofcom has received ‘only’ 400 or so complaints, a petition has had over 3,000 signatures and has now been sent to the telly watchdog, as well as Channel 5.

The online petition calls for an investigation into the final result, including the claims that some viewers could not vote for certain housemates.

Ofcom will assess the complaints and decide whether or not they warrant an investigation.
