Firstly the twinkly lights are in a corner so the wall would stop them being reflected in the glass door.  And the girl isn't sitting on anything, she is sitting on the floor.

 

I'm going downstairs now to take another picture.  I just hope creepy little red alien spectre thingy was only visiting us at Christmas.

I had posted a photo of a pumpkin carved with a face. For some reason the image shows as it should when I look at it on Firefox but a meaningless banner when I look at it on IE

 I did wonder. (Then I was thinking was it part of you being a moderator and having to have adverts automatically put in as part of your post)

Oooh that's weird yep, upload more pics! You can upload to photo bucket, then copy & paste if you're on the gaga app I once took a photo of a bunny, and there's a misty image on the pic that I swear looks look my dad standing looking over his shoulder- died before we got that bunny..

This is what I took today.  Nothing there.  Red thing has left the building.

 

Flipping so old.  The electric input in to mine has kaputted and this one is possibly 7 years old.  We even had it all cleaned up properly and given an overhaul, but it's still utterly pathetic.

 

Do you have the Orange Peril in any other pics around the house?

It's a strange little thing cinds, it'll be interesting to see if it appears again in future!

It is sweet.  I've tried to look at every rational angle but cannot for the life of me fathom what it is.  I know when I think I've spotted something before I've always been able to find the obvious cause of it.  

 

I might do a Yvette Fielding tonight and wear a long black coat and throw pebbles across the living room. 

 With those glass doors, that's a smashing idea!

I might even let Mr C pretend to be Derek Accorah.  Just as long as he doesn't start shouting about 'loving Dick' 

 

took a photo of my d-i-l and grandaughter,  it was a really lovely photo apart from the spider which must have been in the processing lab and now blots part of the photo,  (irefuse to believe it was on the lens - i would have noticed!)

  Does it look like a giant spider on the photo?  That's brilliant.

I did say when I posted this that I was a rational thinking person. Anyway, a photo someone else took on the day has uncovered the source of the 'alien/weird' thing.

 

Here is the picture that he discovered it on.  It was the reflection of a Karen Millen bag, which was sat behind my step daughter.

 

 

The mystery is solved! These things usually have a rational explanation!

Funny enough I just posted this .Could it be a secret room/House.

 

In all fairness to me kimota, I did say I was a rational person, but I couldn't see what it was.  And now I have seen it, I could have just let the mystery go on.
