my mum was on the news once. her shoe factory had just started making lady's shoes in men's sizes Ninja

they asked her if she thought a man's shoe size have anything to do with his equipment and she replied and i quote

"i dont know, my husband is only a size 7 but then so is my eldest son and he has to beat the ladies off him like flies" Laugh

It's a few years ago now, I'm not famous but if I told you why it would give the game away, and that's not fair on my family.

Have you ever owned a canoe? Ninja

And then no sympathy you'll find
From friends who once were true;
They knew you lost when first you ceased
To paddle your own canoe.

I have been on TV Twice~as far as I know

both times I was included in a segment that included a few of the Audience to participate

In Sydney I was on their top rating lunchtime TV show~ hosted by a scrumpy gorgeous
RAY Martin Valentine who I had a huge crush on
they selected us and then the camera was on us all~ for some time ~ as we given a new alcoholic drink tasted this drink and each of us were asked to comment on what we thought of it

and in London I was at Esther Ranszen's
That's Life show~

after both shows~ the next day and a week or so later ~~~~~~ I had lots of people I know~ come up to me and tell me they had seen me on the shows

In Wellington I was featured in the fashion section of The Evening Post
with a huge Photo of me that was taken at the train station ~ before I started work ~
The photographer took some time to get various photos taken of me~ and caused me to be late for work
but they all knew why I was Late ~ as they had passed me and the photographer in the Station entrance

that night~ on my return home on the train ~ for an hour ~
I was shocked to find the backs of everyone's papers as they held them open to read the contents ~
and the whole back page was a close up photo of me
It was a strange experience ~ to see myself on the back of the MAIN evening newspaper~ which 99% of the commuters were reading in my packed carriage

yes a few of times, mostly at protest thingys....the most embarrasing one is where they did a really serious interview with my friend then cut to me dancing like a complete twat in the background, with my tongue poking out Blush didn't know they had the camera pointed at me Frowner

what was worse is that everyone in town seemed to have been watching the news that day...oh the shame Blush

I was also asked once if I wanted to go on telly as the "expert opinion" person, to talk about love - I said no ....would have been a shambles Laugh

yeah me too. I've also done several debate programmes etc mostly on Animal Rights/ Environmentalism.

and my elder son was on morning telly as a five year old when they did a piece about the value of reading with your child at home.
