How is he managing to get away with some of the things he is saying on that shw? I'm shocked Channel 4 even commissioned his show, and yet I've also not heard anyhthing about anyone making any complaints to Ofcom yet, but they'll make stupid complaints about half dressed dancers on The X Factor. Don't get me wrong, I've watched every part of Frankies show and loved it, just amazed he's getting away with it!

Total div.
I've got the passport so I'm allowed.

I have not watched his new series.
But for some time I have often been surprised at some of the stuff he gets away with.
He seems to think anything is a target for comedy.

Its carp.... but people have been complaining, including Katie Price. Ofcom are investigating apparently
I wouldn't watch him in anything.
he's about as funny as piles

I've only seen bits and pieces of him, and that's about all I want to
Don't read or buy his book called My Shit Life cause its shit
I purposely haven't watched any of it, have heard enough about it to form a good enough opinion of the wanker.
Watched some.
It's shite.

Nope and dont intend to. A so called comedian that finds his humour in disabled and mentally ill children doesnt do it for me. I read Katie Price is complaining about his remarks about Harvey, i hope she wrings him out and hangs him up to dry.
dont want to... dont like his comedy targets
He's a rip off of another comedian Jerry Sadowitz.who is a "shock" very black humour guy,but is also a tealented card trickster etc.Go google him, because I can't post most of his stuff on here.Jerry has called Frankie a few choice words in the past.
I have never heard of him ..wont be missing much by the sounds of it
According to the eye, unlike woozy and brand, he doesn't work for the BBC. He also has column in The Sun and therefore is bombproof.

I liked him on Mock the Week but Tramadol nights is pants
I used to find him absolutley hilarious, but some of the studd he says now is just not funny. Like he used to say risquÃĐ things that you laughed at but felt guilty but now he just talks shite.

I think that anything is....
He and Jimmy Carr are in a fight to the death to be the Bernard Manning de nos jours yet are failing miserably.

He's not funny at all imo
I like him......he crosses the line frequently, but some comedy does that.
Frankie is better as a panellist on shows on mainstream TV IMO. Some of Tramadol Nights fails miserably, but I have laughed at quite a few of the jokes on it. My sense of humour can be quite dark though. I laugh at Bill Hicks but also find Lee Evans slapstick style funny.
I'm not sure there should be limits.......if you don't like it, don't watch/read/listen is my motto!

Well, i disagree Katerina. Its not the point of not listening etc. If people are allowed to get a bit further with their "humour" , we as a public have a right to say..well enough is enough. He has crossed the line on a few occassions . Fair enough if some people like his humour, but those who dont can say so.
That's fine Skylark, I agree that people have the right to criticise, of course(and especially if they've seen the material being discussed), if I personally don't find something funny, I just avoid it.....like Mr Bean

I dont remember Mr Bean, bringing a Downs Syndrome man on stage and taking the pee out of him, but each to our own .

I don't remember either Mr Bean or Frankie Boyle doing that When did he physically bring someone on stage?

I live in Edinburgh Katerina. although i didnt see it myself it was in our local paper, and many an outcry. I think he did the Playhouse , it was about 2 years ago. Never liked him since then. I am not sure if he did the Edinburgh Festival this year because of it
I'd be really interested to read any links about it, Skylark. Can't find anything on t'internet! I know he does jokes about Down's but never heard about him bringing someone onto the stage.

I don't know about him bringing anyone with a disability on stage with him - if that is true then surely it would have been all over the national press like the Katie Price thing.
I know he had a row with a woman in the audience of a show who had a Downs child - can't remember the story exactly but I don't think she had the kid with her, she just reacted to some 'jokes' he was telling about Downs Syndrome and gave him a mouthful I think

I don't disbelieve you skylark btw I'm just really surprised that that it wasn't as big news as the Katie Price thing or that Manuel from Fawlty Towers reaction.
I would have thought that he'd have been lynched for it

No probs Veggie, had a look on The Edinburgh Evening News website archives, but i think it depends on the title of the article, so cant find it. i remember it well because my friend Lesley looks after her Downs brother. But it really depends if people take it up, for it to go national.

Will have a look tomoro, my son wants to get on to FB , nite xx

Just phoned my friend Lesley, she thinks i am mad by the way! Anyway i stand corrected, he made jokes of a Downs child, but apparently he apologised , and at another venue he took a Down,s man on stage to say sorry, which was just as patronising IMO . Anyway my friend says if you want to see her brother, he is 53 and Downs, on FB playing the drums you can! PM me and i will give his name.
