I stopped watching when it finished on Channel 4... well, actually that's a lie. I started watching it on C5 and it confirmed how shite I know channel 5 would make it.

 

It feels good to quit. 

 

I think it may be turning in to the bitching stage now Lee's been rumbled  looks like it will be Lee and Casey that go in the bolt hole though 

 

I tried to watch it when channel 5 took over and stuck with it when Julian Clarey won, now I wouldn't give it the time of day. It is rubbish, cheap and so far removed from the original concept it is not worth the electricity 

I've not watched a whole one, civilian or celeb since C5 got it.I tried on the very first one, decided it was too directed and manipulated and haven't bothered much since,I did watch the Julian Clary one, because he was in it.I also watched a fair bit of the one with Michael Madsen in it, purely because he was in it.

 

I have seen one episode of this one, all I  saw  and heard was a noisy duvet with bumps under it, and a  trio of prats in a bath.

I watched a few minutes of it last night and thought to myself "What the hell am I doing" turned the telly off and read my Kindle.

It is the worse  series ever. I feel sorry for the likes of Lionel Blair and Linda Nolan and that posh boy, who are not in the league of scumbag morals which all the others seem to have. Nah it's certainly not for me any more.

I only watch nowadays because I enjoy the BB thread , but even then I have given up a couple of times . Every year it gets harder and harder to stay the course, and as for this series it's really plumbed the depths ! I've never seen such unmitigated, scripted, drivel and I'm having trouble even getting through the first week  

^^^^ This. I was sickened after Monday's sleazefest.... yeuchh... but last nights HL's concentrated more on the mind games stuff... Casey's reaction, Lee's double dealings, and also Jim and Linda's mutual animosity. While there were shenanigans between Lee and Jasmine... thankfully the camera didn't dwell on it.

It sure has Baz   but hopefully once evictions start and the HMs thin out there'll be more focus on the nicer ones like Ollie or Lionel, and less on the hormonal yoofs ?  

I really do want to stop watching it. .but I must be a masochist as I keep peeping just in case. .I don't watch BOTS at all,  tho maybe on eviction nights and even then I tape and FFwd thru most of it..

Olly I hadn't watched BOTS in years until this series. Actually when Rylan is on, its surprisingly good - best host since Russell i.m.o. Emma is awful and just does the C5 schtick.

I did have it on last night but I spent most of the evening texting with my relatives in North America about the polar vortex so had to find out what happened by reading in here. I might go to DS later to get a wider opinion on shenanigans.

I haven't watched any of the BBs, 'celebrity' or otherwise for years now!! BB9 was the last I watched with any enthusiasm! I don't even know the line up for this year...I can guess from some of the thread titles on here, though I don't read them as not watching!! I don't miss it either, which is odd when I think how it used to steal my life for weeks on end!!

 

 

When I wanted to quit CBB I went for the patch option. 

 

 

I'm hoping CH 5 have been reading the forums and start focusing on other people even DS seem fed up with the playground stuff

I didn't watch it again tonight so don't know if it was better than it has been. I was wondering earlier if this will prove to be the most unpopular CBB they've had. I've noticed the last few days that on Forums or FB pages where BB or CBB aren't usually discussed people are talking about it and saying the same things as has been said on here. There's also a few Polls online and again the higher percentage is anti this CBB. I wonder if the viewing figures have dropped since launch night. I hope so as maybe that's the only way the Producers will learn something, then again do they care if money's coming in from viewers who like watching the kind of trash they've been showing.

I'm not watching until Friday ...and then if it's no better I'm out too  

Baz, I gave up X Factor this year and if I can continue to give this up as well it will feel like a detox

I've never watched XFactor YR ....but I do like things like DOI, Masterchef, Apprentice etc. but I'm afraid I have practically  had it with BB ....though I do like the thread  

I haven't enjoyed any form of BB for a few years but I do celebrate the people I have (virtually) met on places like this.

I've never watched Masterchef but I love DOI oh and Strictly, they're happy and positive shows unlike X Factor and BB/CBB that have moved away from the original concept and now just full of hype and shyte

You do know that you are all on a BB forum discussing BB -  but then saying you have no interest in it.

Many are saying they lost interest ages ago but are here chatting about why and what they find wrong with this year.

 

I wonder if the Producers check out Forums and other social media other than just DS to see what's being said about the show. If they don't want to lose viewers, and maybe sponsors, perhaps they should and change the format and types of hm's to encourage viewers to watch, just a thought lol.

BB has become somewhat of a joke and a shadow of its former self.

I've only missed one BB since it started way back when lol. Those early BB's were sooo different to what we get now. They were fun to watch, I remember laughing a lot at some of the hm's who were naturally entertaining. These days there's more grrr's than laughs lol.
