There are still stories to be told though, and if this is a sprat to catch a mackerel then good luck to them. For example, every time the children's homes stories are hinted at, a silence descends. If the truth ever emerges, and I doubt it will in my lifetime, it won't only be Labour politicians called to account.

With you on all the above, GJ.

The investigation into the children's homes in Wales is scandalous. The terms of reference would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic.  To only centre on what went on in that building, whilst ignoring the transporting of poor innocents to various locations elsewhere, is beyond sickening.  It's a bloody disgrace.

Very true. I had to remind myself the other day when DLT was asked back to court again that the villains against children at that particular time are protected still.

Glad at least one of them has had the grace to apologise

Exactly what the response should have been from all when the story first broke.

HH had no need to apologise for being a junior solicitor after the event. No one hates the Labour Party more than that Welsh gadjie who was on QT, and even he said that if she was in anyway responsible, then he was responsible for WW1! Mucho anti-DM sentiment from the audience. Apart from trying to split the UKIP vote, they haven't done themselves any favours.

I firmly agree with you GJ. Harriet Harman has been staunch in defending civil liberties, promoting women's rights and being an all round fairly good egg. She doesn't need her name being dragged through the mud by mudslingers who sit in their ivory towers and find anybody fair game now that Saville has us all enthralled. Shame on the DM.
