I bought some maple syrup too I have to add in my funny story: This morning I went to mix up my mixture and realised that I'd forgotten to retrieve our sieve that I loaned out so I ended up using the finest side of our grater to sift the flour it was a slow but effective method, I did it and the pancake mixture is a go

Just finished making some with my 2 year old girls. They loved them and can't wait to make some more for their bigger brothers when they get back from school.

I was determined I was going to make them this year from scratch (usually I buy ready made mixture).  I found a recipe in the back of Finn's Peppa Pig magazine that I was going to use, but can't bloomin find the magazine now

Already had mine. Took my parents out for birthday lunch and had pancakes for pudding.

I would love to, but the bairn doesn't really like them, and the Mister isn't bothered, so I'm not making mixture enough for one.

I'm good ta  Ah well, if it's just for one I wouldn't bother. I don't really like them either but it was a good excuse for some messy play in the kitchen with my girls and my kids love them.

Glad to hear it.  I always loved doing paper mache with mine when he was little.

I bought some.  Only my youngest likes them and he's not fussed on hot pancakes so shop bought ones it is.  He also won a pack of 6 out of date Tesco Value pancakes at school today.  Riveting.

I ended up halving one with Mr C, the bairn decided he did want some after all, so I made some and they looked so lovely.  We split one with lemon & sugar on it, was delicious.  I did have a plate full of spinach leaves & green beans 2 hours later. *rubs stuffed belly*

We've not long finished. we had spinach, tomato and ricotta ones. Garlic mushroom and cheese ones and an array of sweet fillings, nutella, syrup, toffee sauce etc.

Im allll pancaked out!

Lol he was just so chuffed because pancakes are his fav food and that was the first thing he's ever won at school (he's 4)  I had to tell him I was buttering him one and switch the pancakes from the pack I bought today into the tesco value wrapper.  But aye, the school shouldnt give kids out of date food.....god knows what they give them at break time!

I am so full - I had two pancakes at my friend's ... one with banana and cram and nuts and nutella, the other with apple and cinnamon and cream.

I am actually looking forward to the leaves tomorrow
