Right then!  

First of all... thank you everybody!  I was dreading today...    bad enough turning 40, but being either in pain, or dosed up on pain meds to the point of unconsciousness, I was expecting it to be grim!

But I have had a lovely day.... and that is partly down to all of you's lot.  I've had birthday threads before & they are always nice...  but this one & all the Facebook messages have made the difference between a good birthday &  a bit of a weepy one!
