On New Years Day my daughters partner said he needed to go home to his Mum and dads to think things through and get his head sorted. They've been together almost eleven years since he was seventeen and she was sixteen. She is distraught as are we ..............I hate seeing her broken hearted and he really is like a son to me.

A very, very upsetting time.

The festive season is a strange one.  Tis the season to be jolly, so everyone must slap on a smile and be happy happy happy.  I think when you're trying to be that jolly it makes you feel worse and highlights things that you might otherwise ignore.  I was watching this TV show before Christmas and the psychologist said the forcing yourself to feel jolly when you're not is one of the biggest problems this time of year.

Mix that with the New Year out with the old mentality and it's not surprising there are so many break ups.

He kept banging on about how if Gary in Eastenders can pull Dawn, then why can't he pull something similar in real life? Then the other day she just cracked, and had enough so said I'll tell you what, I'll end it for you.
He's hardly an oil painting himself is he!!!! His ugly mug and his shockingly bad acting, she's well shot of him
