The downside is you think about chocolate oranges for a while after.

I must look out for that one EC

I don't like to think of vegetable oil or animal fat being mixed with a strong alkali when I am washing my hands, it scares me.

As for tablet soap, I have real trouble holding on to it, it often flies out of my hand and I spend hours chasing it around the bathroom

yeah - the bars go even squidgier than normal soap - I didn't used to mind as a kid (love the smell - and it was a huge luxury to have Pears soap back in the day!) but I've not used ordinary soap in years.   I hate when I'm staying in a hotel even and they have those little bars.

Today I have just finished this bottle of soap. As much as I like chocolate oranges I won't be buying one again - it was an experience, but I will reserve the smell to my hands post consumption of the chocolatey delight

One thing I have learnt is that it has taken me about 1 month to use the soap (based on thread post date stamp).

That means I will spend between ÂĢ10 and ÂĢ12 per year on soap assuming the same rate of usage.

...and at that point I now hear my bath is ready, so off for a soak.

Who's upset you then?

I don't think I'd like choc and orange soap - I woldn't feel particularly clean. I don't like peppermint shower gel either - it's like showering in toothpaste.

Recently I've been buying soaps in TK Max - they do have a really lovely selection of all sorts of smells and it's proper 'milled' soap (don't know what that means exactly but the bar stays hard and lasts for ages.

Everything is reducing in size/ volume etc but the price is the same if not more.toothpaste, shampoo, soaps.

Katty - Did you see the programme about Poundland? The researches found that they specially buy in their products, which are in weights different to supermarkets. On a comparison so many items were actually cheaper in the supermarkets.
